Brings me to one of my soapboxes- please buy a meat thermometer and make sure your meat is cooked through. Yes, every single time, especially pork. Fellow southerners, this means that when you cook your collards or green beans with the bacon in it, PUSH DOWN THE BACON so it's being properly boiled. This goes for more than oven baking or frying! Also, wash your hands thoroughly after handling animals, especially pet reptiles. Wash your produce. Don't be the local homesteader drinking unfiltered stagnant creek water, full of runoff and leptospirosis. I promise filtered 'big water' with the 5g is gonna kill you slower than legionella will. Don't let your cat outside, like, at all, but if you do them get regular vet visits and don't let your cat's gross outdoors paws then walk on your food counter. Wipe off surfaces before cooking. All of these will help you not get brain worms <3
