*At one point in the discussion, it is mentioned that Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991) introduced the idea of Saracen character into the outlaw group, which has been a part of most adaptations since then. I was unable to fact check at the time, but in fact the series Robin of Sherwood (1984-1986) introduced Nasir first.
