Okay, I admit it. I couldn't pick JUST 5. I wrote SO much last year, but I really knocked it out of the park with Rare Pairs that I just couldn't leave any out.

Regardless, here's my list of fics I'm SUPER proud of. I know I'm missing Lost Time and Under the Maple Tree (which I'm amazingly proud of, don't get me wrong), but I figured I'd keep the fics confined to this list as ones that aren't chaptered. (Even though I threw in some series. XD)

Addicted (Part 3 of Sleeping with the Enemy) -- a Lucky (Tyki x Lavi) fic. Rated E. Canon-divergent. This was probably my absolute favorite installment of this series. I honestly went hard with this one, and ripped out my own heart in the process.

Sea Glass (Part 1 of Follow Your Heart) -- a Lavi x Link fic written for Rare Pair Week. Rated M. Modern AU/Summer Fling. I did not think I would fall for these two together, but here we are. This fic was basically borne of me just fucking around for Rare Pair Week and trying new things. I love Lavi to pieces and I wanted to see how he mixed with Link. Ta-da, now I'm hooked and this fic is huge, and has spawned a series that I'm still working on.

Dead Lovers -- a Lavi x Neah fic written for Rare Pair Week. Rated E. Vampire AU. Laven and slight Lucky is in this as well. I played with vampire lore in this and it was a delight. I honestly killed myself with this one. It was a pain to write, but it just ended up so right that I fell in love. I'm always down for that Allen x Lavi x Neah dynamic, and I basically took some of my thoughts on how that would work in canon and pushed that into my AU. Anyway, it's a freaking heartbreaker, so be warned.

Happiness is a Bed to Call Your Own -- a Laven fic written for Laven Week. Rated E. Modern AU. Excuse me, but my love of Laven shines through in this one. This is classic me, and I've written these boys like this for so long. Ahhh, it's a good sweet and smutty mix and it was perfect in my eyes.

Witty Fool, Foolish Wit -- a Lavi x Wisely fic written for Rare Pair Week. Rated E. College AU. HELLO WELCOME TO MY NEW LOVE. These two... were a pain in the ass to write together. But they worked so WELL. The give and take was so fun, and their sex scene ended up being really sweet (not at all what I had expected/planned for.) All in all, I would write them together again in a heartbeat.

Drawing Mercury -- a Lucky Poker (Tyki x Allen x Lavi) fic written for Rare Pair Week. Rated E. Modern Witch AU + Sex Magic. This was self-indulgent and I claim nothing less. XD I love writing these three, and they did NOT disappoint in this fic. I had a lot of fun writing it, even if it took me AGES to complete, and I even wrote it from Tyki's POV, which I have trouble with. Either way, it ended up perfect and I was so pleased with the result.

• What year did you first get into DGM?

Well it was my junior year of high school so around... 2017 or 18 I guess. I was originally just going to watch the anime, but then I read the manga instead and await to watch the English sub of the anime.

• Who’s your favorite character?

While I love all the characters and seem overly obsessed with Sheril, Lero still holds a dear place in my heart. I miss him. I wanna know what happened to him (sorry Lavi).

• Who’s your least favorite character?

Hard to say. Practically everyone has a tragic backstory that makes it hard to hate. I’m going to have to say Apocrypos. He’s always making me feel uneasy and has the kind of cockiness and demeanor of a stalker rapist (which he kind of is. Following around a young boy so he could take him over before the other guy did. What a creep!)

• Who’s your favorite general?

Tiedoll’s a nice guy. Cloud Nine is pretty cool too. Has a cool attitude with a hidden sweetness to her. Tiedoll seems like a fun loving guy who has a way of brightening up a situation. Cross is a good guy too, but I think he needs to find healthier ways to deal with his pain.

I don’t really like how he put Allen into debt or scarred him. I get he was trying to help and didn’t know a lot about kids, but it still added a lot more stress to Allen’s already struggling life. At least he tried, I guess. I don’t hate Cross. He’s fun and cool, but he’s got a lot to work out (which I guess is kind of the point of his character in a way. The fact he’s not as emotionally worked out as some others...) Sorry Cross. 

• Who’s a character you would get along with?

Hm... I think I might get along with Lavi or Lenalee. They’re about my age. Allen too maybe. I’m kind of silly and awkward with a tendency to get loud. I might try to get along with Kanda or Link, but it might take a while. Lavi probably would be the most I get along with. 

Although I could probably be friends with Wisely. We both kind of make awkward mistakes and try to care for others. I’d probably get along with Lavi though. Maybe Tyki- but Tyki is a bro to everyone so that wouldn’t quite count. Maybe it would, I don’t know. I like people and I need more friends!

• What kind of innocence would you have?

Probably something similar to Tiedoll. I like art and writing stories and if my innocence reflects that, that’d make the most sense. That or I’m able to hug akuma free of their evil prison and be able to go up to Heaven!

• What’s your ship?

I try to stay away from ships honestly. If I see a spark, I’ll think about it but I’m not really into it unless its cannon or I see a good justification in the cannon for it. Even then, I don’t want it to be too involved.

I guess Sheril x Tricia because, despite cannon implying that its fake love, a part of me wants it to be true. Is that hypocritical? I guess I’m also a Katerina x Adam shipper. Jery x Komui looks like it could secretly happen. Okay- I lied! I like shipping sometimes!!!

• What’s your least favorite ship?

Please don’t hate me... I don’t like a lot of the ships.

I don’t see any sparks between Lavi and Tyki. I feel a little disturbed when I see Allen and Tyki together because of the age difference. Kanda and Allen feel kind of forced- and I can feel the hate of a thousand D Gray Man fans staring me down and saying I’m terrible for not approving of their ships- I’m sorry!

• What branch would you want to be part of?

Tough question. The Asian Branch has a nice vibe to it. But given my location, I think I’d be in North America unless they moved me. I’d kind of like to be with the Asian Branch. The people are nice, its not as gloomy as the European one. Kind of would want the Asian one for the atmosphere. Plus I love Asia. 

• What’s your favorite arc?

Oh man- they are all so good! I-I can’t-!

Maybe the Noah’s Ark arc? Or the Komui Vitamin D incident? Krory’s Castle? Oh no! I can’t decide!!! I love it all!!!

I found DGM in fall of 2009, I came across vol.2 in the library. If I say it was love at first sight it wouldn’t be an understatement. If I say it’s saved my life at times that wouldn’t be an understatement either.

• Who’s your favorite character?

I prayed at the altar of Kanda for many years😅 Nowadays tho... idk. I love everyone! They are all family!

• Who’s your least favorite character?

-except Chaoji. fuck Chaoji.

• Who’s your favorite general?

tbh Zokalo. I know it’s weird. Hoshino give us more Zokalo pls.

• Who’s a character you would get along with?

Wisely or Lavi probably. Laid back, but just enough of a bastard.

• What kind of innocence would you have?

I was diehard Yullen for years. Till I fell into Pie ship. And holy shit Poker Pair. I guess Allen x anyone is good for me, and I love when the lines between Allen and Nea are blurred to the distress of others 😈😈😈

I’ll read p much anything. Young versions of characters don’t really do anything for me though. (read: the Millenium Earl is best scruffy, sad and middle aged)

Ghost of Mater. It’s where everything started for me, and where everything went back to in the Alma arc. I’ve read it a thousand times over and it’s still my favourite.

I honest to God can’t remember! I know it was around when I first started college because I remember being in an extracurricular club and whenever we talked anime, the one guy would go, “Oh God, time to hear all about D-Whatever.” whenever I started talking (this was a guy who wore an AoT jacket every fucking day so don’t worry, I let him have it.)

// What is your favorite moment of the manga/anime? //

Manga: when Kanda sits down with Allen and asks to hear his backstory. It’s been obvious since the beginning of the Alma Karma arc that Kanda’s going through his redemption arc but this scene, in my opinion, makes it the most obvious how much he’s growing.

Anime: When the Level 4 attacks the Order and Kanda uses a random sword to defend himself/the other staff members and then bitches at Komui that their weapons suck lmao

// What are your thoughts about DGM Hallow? //

Okay, so I know that it wasn’t popular and it was heavily criticized but honestly, I loved it. The animation wasn’t great, and while the art style reflected the development in Hoshino’s art in the manga, I found myself missing the art style from the original anime series. Maybe I’m biased because Kanda is my #1 husbando and most of this season revolved around him and his backstory, but I genuinely liked it. I thought it did a fairly good job of following the manga’s story.

I have him tattooed on my arm and am working with my artist currently to get a Kanda-themed tattoo on my hand, in case anybody wanted to know how intense my love for him is lmaoooo.

// If you had Innocence, which type would you like to have? //

I’d want an equipment type. I’m a baby so I don’t think I could handle the strain of a parasitic type. As far as the weapon itself, I’d want a shotgun or a rifle. I know it’s not super original but I think it’d be badass as fuck.

// If you were a Noah, what kind of Noah would you like to be? //

I’d like to be the Noah of Pleasure. No actual reason lol.

// Favorite headcanon? //

Oh fuck I have so many lmao. I know this implies one answer, but I’ll give two:

NSFW: Kanda is definitely a virgin who has no understanding of sex and is confused by most of the ins and outs of it but once he starts having sex he very quickly becomes a fiend and is kinky as fuck.

SFW: I think that Lavi is the heart. I have no actual evidence to back this up, but I think it’s him.

// Which character can you relate the most to? //

Lenalee. I care about those in my life fiercely and have a bad habit of putting their wants/needs before my own which I feel like Lenalee does as well.

// If you could kill off a character in DGM, who would it be? //

Chaozii. He’s just annoying as fuck. I was going to say Lvellie for obvious reasons, but something about the recent chapters make me think that he wants to help Allen and actually does see this mystery third side of the war???

// If you could write an ending for DGM, what ending would you write? //

It’s really cheesy, but I’d write a really happy ending. I feel like everybody in the Order deserves it. Like the war ends and they win and the Order dissolves and everybody just gets to lead normal lives.

// If a character would sing you a lullaby, which character should it be? //

I would want it to be Kanda but we all know that would never happen so Lavi?? I could see him singing a lullaby to somebody if they needed help sleeping lol.

DGM X Among Us AU: Part One

(Drabbles)

(Note: I am a bit new to among us so I apologize if I somehow messed this up)

Allen had graduated with a masters degree in the STEM, and was accepted by the NASA to become an astronaut. He was then accepted to take a test to see if they got what it takes to become one, by going on a field trip to space and complete vet basic tasks. He was then greeted by several others who were also going on the trip. (Aka the other exorcists and some Noah). They were all assigned designated uniforms and code names before setting off to space. Little do they know that three of them are actually imposters (murderers) planing on killing everyone on board in space, with no way out to escape.

(I’m planing on writing a fanfic of this, so this is basically some self-reminders on how I’m gonna write this.)

Allen, a new member of the crew, and recently graduated, and is new to the job. who is going to try to achieve his goal of being an astronaut. He is assigned as “White”.

Lenalee, also just like Allen, but graduated else where with Kanda. She is assigned as “Green”

Kanda, graduated with Lenalee and is also a beginner. He is assigned as “Blue”

Lavi, also is like Allen and the others, but came from a different country. He is assigned as “Red”

Krory, one of Lavi’s good friends, and has around 3 years worth of experience, and joins Lavi with his trip. He is assigned as “Black”

Road, has around a years worth of experience, and is just there to join the ride with her cousins (Tyki and Sheril). She is assigned as “Pink”

Wisely, has around 2 years of experience. Just like Road, he only joined just for the fun. He is assigned as “Yellow”

Tyki, has around 5 years worth of experience, and was assigned to be a chaperone. He is assigned as “Orange”

Sheril, is the one who teaches the newcomers how to perform tasks, and how to do basic things in space. He is assigned as “Brown”

Komui, just like Sheril, he is also a teacher, however he’s just there only because Lenalee is and he doesn’t want anyone near her. He is assigned as “Cyan”

Lulubell, Sheril’s assistant and helps the newcomers as well. She is assigned as “Purple”

tbh so would Allen, he would set everything on fire.

Idk i think it’s more about which kind of presentation they would get. Like Lenalee I could see her with a ballad but with crazy accrobatism in heels that have everyone be “whaaat”

Kanda had been forced to participate and he didn’t want it so halfway through his song he gets irritated and starts to destroy the stage. It wasn’t planned but it gives specifically the sort of visual the Eurovision crowd wanted. Tiedoll mentors him in the Greenroom and had planned all his staging though, and Marie was helping with the music so they’re all upset but not surprised.

I feel like Lavi would do a soulless but popping popsong? Like, something just as fake as his smile in general, but that is such a bop you don’t realize it right away. Might also be linked to some mystical elements he snuck into the texts and visuals. Bookman actually calculated the entierety of Lavi’s performance. All he wants is to be better than Kanda and Allen because he holds a petty rivalry about raising Lavi better. 

Allen would go all out in his prestation, he would put EVERYTHING in his fashion (with the help of Johnny, his manager and stylist for the event). He knows how to manipulate the masses. and would eventually try to be a fair player but when some (Lavi) are annoying him he sneaks behind them in the Green Room to annoy the fuck out of them.

of course Alma gets to participate but tbh I could just see him with a very heartful and earnest song. Everyone gets very surprised when Kanda (who just destroyed half the stage) gets a focus on the camera where he just looks so foundly at Alma. Also Alma sneaks into Kanda’s spot in the green room and doesn’t let go and it is the least grumpy Kanda is for the whole evening.

Krory would be pushed by Timothy, Lavi and Allen, to do the Traditional Vampire Act of the evening. 

Miranda would sing a very nervous ballad and be completely freaked out by being on stage, obviously uncomfortable. She calms down only when Marie, sensing she was feeling unwell, came on the stage to play music to go along with her. 

Timothy is too young to participate so instead he crashes every Green Room’s interviews and try to have them focus on him. He stays closer to Allen’s and Krory’s boot in general though. 

Link... Honestly I think Link would want to do management stuff. I don’t know what sort of music he would do. Help in the Green Room and bring up to the public the points of the jury. that later obviously get him a lot of slack from the squad in the Green Room and there are a lot of insults. Link doesn’t even care. 

Komui is the presentator and Reever accompagnies him to try to moderate the evening. things don’t specifically go as planned because Komui decided to make an intermitance with a robot. Didn’t end well.

Lveille is part of the Jury because fuck him. He’s purposingly voting against our heroes to spite them.Euro-volution.

Also the Noah definitly decided to crash the party. 

The Jasdebi comes with a hardmetal emo song in which they can show off all their boundages stuff. Everyone is embarassed except for the Earl who is cheering for them very loud.

Also I could see the Earl with a very pumpy song, all cheerful and all, but when you listen the musics the lyrics are actually quite horrifying.

Road forced Tyki to wear the sexiest clothes she could put her hands on, while she was with the most frizzly lolita dress, and forced him on a duet with her because she decided the aesthetic would work better. Sheryl is torn between being happy for his good looking family and being upset she didn’t ask him for a part. 

Wisely ends up sneaking up with the presentators and start to interview the stars by specifically asking awkward question or expressing aloud their thoughts.

Lulu transformed into a cat and sneaked in the Green Room to avoid the embarassment.

Also Cross ends up crashing the party for the final act event, and arrives with a wonderful, pretty, expensive gown to the party. Allen starts to shiver when he realizes that Cross could only pay this dress with... a lot... of debts..... but Cross is determined to steal the show, bring out Maria as back up choir, and he puts everything on fire. except he planned it. And he set the dress on fire so we can’t bring it back to the store. Allen slowly died in the Green Room calculating how expensive Cross’s act was and how much he will have to pay, and Johnny had to try to bring him back to life. 

The ending gets ruined because Kanda ended up furious at Alma ending last that he cut down the cameras.
