Charcoal drawing day today. After destroying two sheetsof paper from my small sketch book and several tries in another reference picture of him, I have almost gave up, but decided to try this one out as last effort for the day. And think I came to the conclusion that Axl's head just doesn't fit in Mr. Andrew Loomis method lol... So at some point I just abandoned every try to apply it and did what I could to salvage this one to the drawing you see here, guys 🫣😅

Why do we wait til we hit rock bottom to change? Did I really need to crash my hypothetical car into a hypothetical brick wall before I made a change? No. But often it’s what forces us to open our eyes and take action. Do you wish to go through that again? Probably not. Are you ok with the eventual outcome? You survived. Thankful for it even? Maybe . Did it make you stronger on the other side? Most often yes. But do I wish I acted sooner? ALWAYS yes. If you don’t feel aligned with the path you are on (ie: stuck in a relationship you know needs to improve or end, are on a career path that doesn’t suit you anymore, are feeling “fine”, you’re not depressed, but you’re not happy...etc), you don’t have to wait for it to get worse to change. You can put your hands on the steering wheel at any time. Get out of autopilot. Reach out. Maintenance lunch today. Looking at this meal you would think it was amazing ...... Well most of it was.... Until I took a bite of the kimchi beef seaweed wrap (in my mind it sounded yummy) I even made a gorgeous tahini soy sauce dip...... But NOPE the worst thing I have ever eaten!!! I ate almost half and I just couldn't! 😝 FAIL!! I thought oh I'll just have something else with the tahini dip.... But that was nasty too 🤣😂 🤦🏽‍♀️ so grabbed a hard boiled egg and threw the rest of that nasty wrap in the trash where it belongs! In 706 I think this is the 1st time not being able to finish something I have made.... (That's saying a lot!) Moral of the story; things may look good, gorgeous, doing well on the outside. But deep down on the inside it's fishy and smelly! 😂 The rest of my lunch was yummy. Now I have a package of these little fishy wraps ..... How do I make them taste good?? I think it's nori seaweed wrap... @ashleychart1991 took care of one of the orders today because I was stuck at my #dayjob making #holidaypreparations. I hope everyone is ready for their #fourthofjuly week. . I like to get my orders out ASAP, because my customer usually get their orders a day early if i do. So even though i could have made it when I got home it was a great opportunity to challenge her to step outside her #comfortzone . She messed up, a little tiny bit. She did good considering i haven't shown her entirely how i handle these knives, and almost more importantly she handled the frustration of #LearningTheHardWay pretty well this time. You might be able to spot it in the third picture, but i know a lot of people wouldn't even notice. We went ahead and remade it without the error, and i decided to ship the customer both knives. I also sold more #weldingcapstencils today. .
