Fate.
Years ago, I believed solely in fate. Where there is someone who is writing my own life, and that someone who is writing is making sure that I'm happy. How I have my parents, my friends and most importantly, my best friend.
Fate brought us together when my father's childhood friend unexpectedly lived just beside our house. He also has his own family and they would set us up on a play date whenever they have the time.
He introduced himself as Lee Hojun, and he's two years older than me. We were just 5 and 7 years old when we first exchanged our names. The play dates lasted until I turned 9 and he's 11, and our time together suddenly felt a bit different.
Puppy love. That's how everyone describes it.
My feelings for Hojun back then were indescribable. I always think that we should get married already. We were adorable. Those cute interactions made my heart skip a beat for the first time—and I want to experience it for much longer.
Well, I told you earlier I believed solely in fate? What happened next made me forget about fate.
Hojun's family moved to Australia just a month after I confessed to him. And he doesn't know when they will come back home because his mother has been calling Australia their new home.
Fate?
That doesn't exist in my life anymore.
SUMMER OF 2025
“Don't forget your art project to be completed in three days” I announced through the classroom as I watched my 5th grade homeroom class pack their bags and get ready to go home for the day.
“Yes teacher” some of them said in unison, others just nod and smile.
It has been my dream to become a teacher since I was little—from acting like a teacher to finally being a real teacher. I'm grateful that I entered a job that made me smile whenever I start my day.
Even though it gets hectic.
Finals week is happening next week and those are the days where students and teachers are busy and at the same time—thinking about the summer break.
When the last student finally left the classroom, my head automatically rested on my table, catching sleep for a bit. Just a few minutes later, I didn't know someone came inside my classroom and felt their finger poking on my cheek.
“Miss Eunji…it's already 5 in the afternoon” I heard that familiar voice and saw it's Taeha, the music teacher in this school and also the work crush of most teachers here. He really is good-looking.
Me and Kang Taeha had been friends since college and that's the part where other teachers are jealous about—my closeness with Taeha.
We also share one apartment, since it's affordable, and when they found that out—his admirers were scowling at me again.
I groaned and stretched out my arms, “You should go ahead, or else I'll hear their scowls at me again. They irritate me now” I said to him.
Taeha laughed, “Who cares? Besides, I think you need a helping hand” He looked over the mountain of activity sheets that I needed to check and record back home.
I playfully rolled my eyes at him, “Fine” I stood up from my chair and fixed my things. I'm so glad it's finally the weekend—but our weekends are still full of work.
I stared at the activity sheets and closed my eyes as I took a deep intake, “I love my job, I love my job” I mumbled to myself.
I put the papers neatly in a box and as I'm about to lift it, Taeha beat me to it and that made him stand so close beside me, smelling that faint masculine cologne and his veiny and surprisingly huge arms on display since he rolled up his sleeves.
“Helping hand…remember?” His voice came out deep since he's too close to me.
A faint blush appeared on my cheek and took a step back away from him, “Okay, helping hand. Let's go” I nervously laughed and took my things.
I can hear Taeha chuckling behind me and that made me blush even more.
“Hey, remember Hwang Dohyun back in college—” I abruptly stopped in my tracks when I saw Taeha without any shirt on and only wearing those loose gray sweatpants that are so tempting to look at while he’s watching some random series.
“Why is he being like this nowadays?! Did he start working out? Is he feeling confident?” I am fighting my inner demons right now.
“Hwang Dohyun? I just received a text from him.” Taeha responded to my unfinished sentence earlier. I saw him give me a questioning look because I am just standing here, clutching my towel that I used after taking a shower earlier, “Why…are you standing there?”
“Oh! Me too! That’s what I’m going to ask.” I shake off the inappropriate thoughts and take a seat on the sofa where he is—but I’m keeping a distance from him, or else he will see me flip out.
“It’s been years since we last saw each other and I’m surprised to hear an update from him.” Taeha smiled and put his arms up behind his head, causing his biceps to flex a bit.
“Fuck. Can he stop?!” I mentally screamed.
I try to regain my composure, “And that update is…he’s getting married.” I chuckled.
That made me think of most of my friends getting married, already married, and settled with their own family. People have been saying that my age is the perfect time to get married and start a family, but fate is not on my side anymore—since that time. So I’m ignoring those stereotypes and just live where the wind might take me.
“He mentioned that instead of having those typical bachelor’s parties where they go club hopping, he will just use their family summer cabin and spend a week with his friends.” Taeha said while looking at Dohyun’s message.
“Seven days means there will be seven different summer activities that we will be doing?.” I asked.
Taeha shrugged, “Maybe? And I hope so, because I really miss those summer activities we did in elementary school before.”
I smiled on the ground and reminisced about those times, “Yeah, I do too.”
My smile faded away when he entered my thoughts again, causing me to sigh deeply.
“What’s wrong Eunji?” Taeha asked and felt him scoot close to me. Feeling the heat of his exposed torso dangerously close to mine.
“What's wrong? You're all shirtless and shit is what's wrong. Put on a damn shirt.” I slapped my towel at him and stood up from the sofa, getting ready to go and enjoy my sleep.
“It's warm here!” He hollered from the living room.
“Then turn off the heater!” I argued back and entered my room, leaning my back against the door.
Damn you Kang Taeha.
Time really passes by so fast and I'm glad finals week is coming to an end. I kept remembering Dohyun's summer getaway so that I just have the motivation to check every exam papers and projects that my classes have passed. When the school bell finally rang, a wide smile appeared on my face upon seeing the students get all excited for their summer break. With just two and a half months, I'm sure they will make the most out of it.
“Have a great summer, teacher!” One of my students came over to greet me.
“Have a great summer too!” I grinned, then I was surprised when my student suddenly gave me a pretty shell bracelet, “Oh! Is it for me?”
The student nods while showing that adorable smile. I immediately put on the bracelet and my heart swells when they hugged me again before waving goodbye to me. I admired the bracelet once more and soon I was interrupted with someone knocking on the door.
“Come in.” I said.
Of course it's Taeha.
“Miss Eunji,” Taeha always calls me whenever we're here in school and I think it's cute hearing it from him, “We have a small get-together with the other teachers in the faculty room.”
“Oh okay, I'll be right there.” I nodded and started tidying everything I accomplished today. I also applied some lip gloss and powder to make myself presentable.
Then I just realized that Taeha is still here, leaning on the door frame with his gaze at me.
My brows furrowed, “What are you still doing here? You go ahead.” I tried to shoo him away.
“We'll go there together.” He smiled.
I rolled my eyes, “And cause a whispering scene between your admirers again? You go ahead.”
Taeha soon found himself walking towards me and took my bag from my table.
“Hey!” I tried to get my bag from him, but our height difference is hindering me.
“Come on, let's go, you look pretty already.” He said and that made me look at him again, not realizing my cheeks are blushing again.
I huffed out in disbelief, “Fine. I'll just turn the AC off here.”
I tidy up the classroom and turn off everything that's plugged in before leaving the room with Taeha still holding my bag. I was about to tell him something but a phone call interrupted me.
“It's from my bag,” I told Taeha and he gave me my bag, pulling out my phone to see it's Dohyun calling me, “Oh, it's Dohyun.”
I pressed the button to receive the call and I'm surprised it's actually a video call.
“Eunji! Hello!” I saw Dohyun's contagious smile again.
“Dohyun! It's been a while! Taeha is also here with me.” I showed Taeha in the video call as they greeted each other too.
“Since both of you are now on this call, I'm sure you're both aware of my bachelor's party slash summer getaway that is happening on sunday.” Of course, me and Taeha nodded on what Dohyun said.
“Yeah, and congratulations too on your upcoming wedding!” I greeted and Taeha did the same.
Dohyun grinned, “Thank you guys. I'm kinda skeptical about contacting you and Taeha because it's been years since we saw each other, maybe you won't remember me anymore.” He chuckled.
I giggled on what Dohyun said, “What do you mean we won't forget you? You literally saved our last semester in college before.”
“You're the reason we have this degree!” Taeha buts in.
I watched Dohyun laugh so hard and probably remember the time back in college where we literally begged on our knees for his review notes for us to pass our exams. Me and Taeha were so crazy to pass with flying colors, and Dohyun is actually a smart student that we met. He is our guardian angel.
“This is why I really missed you both. Your craziness as a duo in college made me feel so belonged, even though I'm older.” Dohyun sighed, “Anyways, I'll see you guys this sunday and you will be also meeting my other friends. Hope that's okay.”
“Yes of course, see you this sunday! And, will there be a motif for our outfits?” I genuinely asked.
“Nah, any outfit is fine, as long as it's comfortable. See you guys! I'm hanging up now.” Dohyun waves goodbye on the video call as we waved back before he ended the call.
I sighed deeply and returned my phone inside my bag again, “Can't believe we will be spending a week in the woods.”
Taeha tried to uplift my mood because he knows I'm a bit nervous when it comes to the woods, “Relax, I'm sure the place where the cabin is would be nice. With those lake views and everything.” He patted my shoulder.
“I hope so.”
Sunday finally came and I am blankly staring at my two luggage that is filled with my things for the next seven days in the woods. I brought some insect repellant, sunblock and other necessities to make the getaway problem-free. We are just waiting for the driver to drive us to the address that Dohyun gave. He mentioned that he got us a shuttle together with his other friends for us to get to the cabin. I'm overthinking again that it would be a bit awkward to be in the same vehicle with some strangers.
I heard footsteps behind me and saw Taeha wearing a baby blue billowy shirt together with a denim three-fourths. He looks very summery, compared to mine that it's just a plain yellow sundress.
“Ready to go?” Taeha asked while locking our apartment.
“Yeah…I think.” I put up a small smile.
I was taken aback when Taeha suddenly cupped my cheeks and squashed it lightly, “I swear you'll be fine. I'm here for you if you got scared in the woods.”
I took his hands off my cheeks, “You promised that, and don't play pranks on me in the woods or else I'm gonna leave you back there.”
I immediately took my luggages and began walking in the hallway towards the elevator.
“Hey! Wait for me!” I heard him scrambling behind me as I snickered a laugh.
“The driver should be any second now, keep up slowpoke!” I hollered through the hallway of the apartment building and hoped our neighbors wouldn't be annoyed.
We took the elevator and just in time the driver notified us that they are now in front of the building. Taeha helped me put my things in the trunk and now we finally leave the apartment complex.
On our way to the place where the shuttle is, it is full of interesting stories. Taeha mentioned he was once a boy scout in his elementary years and he always has awards whenever they have their tasks, almost as if he's assuring me that I'm in good hands when we stay in the cabin. The driver also added that there's a beautiful lake where the cabin should be because someone he knew also owns a cabin around that place and he saw how beautiful the view is outside.
What they said made me calmer and now full of anticipation of what the cabin would look like—of course with Dohyun's wealth and status, I'm very sure it would be so beautiful.
We finally reached the place and immediately saw a shuttle service waiting by the bus stop. We took our things and said our thanks to the driver as he drove off.
“Oh wow, this shuttle service is…expensive.”
Right before me and Taeha is a white colored shuttle service that almost looks like a whole bus. We made our way towards the man waiting by the car.
“Excuse me, is this the shuttle service provided by Hwang Dohyun?” I asked the man.
“Oh! Yes! Can I ask your names?” He asked as he took out a list from the pocket of his jacket.
“It's Kim Eunji and Kang Taeha.” I said with a warm smile on my face.
Me and Taeha waited patiently as he went through the list and noticed his face lit up, “There you both are miss Kim Eunji and mister Kang Taeha. Let me help you store things inside the shuttle's compartment.”
“Thank you so much.” I thanked him as we also helped put our things inside.
When we are now good to go, we enter the shuttle and our eyes widen to see how cool it is inside. The seats are probably so comfortable, there are small TVs on the seats and a champagne corner? This shuttle has everything.
“This freaking looks like a first class seat in an airplane, holy shit.” I muttered to Taeha since I saw there are now people inside who are chatting with each other.
“Let's find our seat now.” Taeha ushered me towards the seats that are close to the front since he doesn't like to be that far behind a bus.
When he settled, I sat down on this comfortable chair and felt like I'm just about to pass out to sleep on how freaking comfortable it is. I just want to stay there, I'm already content with this damn shuttle service.
After a few minutes, more people came and now the man and also I think is the driver now entered the half-filled shuttle service.
“Good morning everyone, I am Hongchul and I will be your driver today. We will be having a 3-hour drive to the Hwang's family cabin. Mister Dohyun actually gave all of you some snacks and other necessities in the box that is just under your seats. If you have problems or emergencies during the trip, press the button that is beside the TV and just stay your concerns through its speaker. Have a great day everyone.” Hongchul bowed at us and now got ready to drive.
My face is making a very weird look because of what I'm feeling right now. Taeha noticed that I'm making a face now and that sent him from stifling a laugh.
“What the hell is that face?” He covered his mouth.
“It feels so new as a person who only lives an average life. I can't believe we have a friend like Dohyun who is literally wealthy like a president.” I chuckled and soon took the box that Hongchul mentioned earlier. I opened to see some chips, biscuits and a juice to help with our hunger during the trip.
What I'm shocked about is that there's a jacket inside too and summer necessities like sunblock and some sunglasses. Dohyun really planned everything for this special week, and that made me think how many weeks or even months that he planned this. That made me even more grateful to be one of his friends.
The 3-hour drive went by smoothly as we now entered some secluded place that is surrounded by woods. I'm glad it's not one of those places that is too deep within the foliage but this place seems light. During the trip, we actually met one of Dohyun's friends named Yoobin. She's one of Dohyun's closest friends way back in high school and she's so extroverted that she introduced herself to everyone in the vehicle. We can't help but also socialize with everyone in the shuttle. I noticed this woman who is a bit silent and just wearing her headphones while looking at the view. Of course I just ignored her or else she'll be annoyed that I interrupted her quiet time.
After a few minutes, we are now surprised by the cabin. Words can't explain how beautiful the cabin is, how it was standing between the trees and the lake just in front of it. It's like this place came from a storybook.
“The cabin is so beautiful.” I said in pure admiration.
“Told you it would be beautiful.” Taeha added.
“I overthink too much.”
Taeha snorted, “Yeah you do.”
When the shuttle service parked beside the cabin, Hongchul; the driver, now helped us leave the vehicle and unload our things from the compartment. My eyes are not leaving on how beautiful the cabin is.
“Welcome everyone to my family cabin!”
My eyes widened to hear that voice and finally saw Dohyun walking out from the cabin with that same warm smile on his face. All of us greeted him and took turns hugging and greeting the man of hour—or week?
When we exchanged glances, Dohyun's smile widened even more as he saw me running towards him and gave him the biggest hug. Taeha also entered and now turned into a group hug.
“Oh Taeha and Eunji! I'm so glad you're both here! Thank you for making the time.” Dohyun said as we broke our hug.
“Anything for our dear friend, who is close to being a married man.” I nudged his side as he laughed.
“So when's the wedding?” Taeha asked Dohyun.
“It will be happening next month already. Me and Haewon have been together for 6 years now and she's the love of my life. Both of our families are so supportive that this wedding should already be happening. I just proposed to her two months ago, and now the ceremony is now happening in a month.” Dohyun shared this story that made us look like some smiling freaks.
“I'm so happy for you Dohyun, and thank you for planning all of this. So don't worry, this summer getaway will be amazing.” I said to Dohyun.
“Of course it will be amazing, and speaking of amazing, can I have the attention of everyone,” Dohyun stood on the porch of the cabin, “Through the seven days, we will be having different activities to make our summer getaway the vacation of your lives. For this day, we will be barbecuing some food and just a simple campfire.”
I glanced at the large space between the cabin and the lake to see a grill and the campfire already laid out. But first, Dohyun said about our rooms, me and Taeha picked the room that is on the second floor and the window has the perfect view of the lake.
I threw myself on the large mattress and indulged how soft and comfortable this bed is.
“I hope I won't sleep in because of how soft this bed is.” I chuckled and prop myself up to see Taeha also enjoying his own bed.
“Me too,” Taeha agreed, “It's like we booked in a five-star hotel but for free.”
When we finally settled our things inside our designated room. We went back outside the cabin to see most of the guests are having fun in the lake. They were kayaking, skipping rocks and just relaxing. I caught in my peripheral vision the quiet woman during the whole trip talking to Dohyun and sharing some laughs. I didn’t notice how pretty and tall she is. She looked like a model or some sort.
But I just mind my own business and told Taeha that we should have a skipping rock competition.
After several rocks were thrown in the water, of course, Taeha won.
“Why are you so good at everything?” I grumbled and crossed my arms together like some kid that lost in a game.
“At least you also skipped three rocks.” Taeha tried to console me.
“But you skipped ten.”
Taeha chortled, “You’re so adorable.”
My eyes widened on what he said and that made my cheeks blush again.
“A-anyways, let’s just relax on the bean bags by the campfire.” My words stammered as I quickly went my way towards the bean bag and sat on it comfortably.
Taeha has been making me blush for weeks now and I don’t think this is a good sign for our friendship that lasted for years. And when I let my feelings overcome me, maybe it’ll be like that moment again—where someone would just leave me behind. I breathe in the fresh air and close my eyes to what I’ve been thinking again.
I didn’t realize that I already took a nap—with the help of this comfortable bean bag. While everyone is making the most of the beautiful scenery of the lake and the cabin, here I am, passed out.
Smoke. Such indulgent smoke.
My eyes slowly opened to see it's already sunset and the others are now grilling some delicious meat and preparing other foods. How long was I out?
I stretched out my arms and legs before getting up from the bean bag that I comfortably slept on.
“You're finally awake, we finally started preparing for our dinner. I really didn't want to wake you up, you're so comfortable sleeping on the bean bag.” Taeha came walking towards me with a drink in his hand.
I look at the drink he handed me over to see it's iced tea. I took a sip and it was the most refreshing drink for the summer.
“Thank you for the drink, and yeah…I didn't realize I passed out already. I still have to catch more sleep.” I put up a small smile.
Taeha sighed and soon showed me his hand, “Come, let's go with the others.”
I held his hand in caution as we went towards the table where everyone is socializing. Me and Taeha sat down and saw Yoobin; the one we talked to during the trip.
“Taeha! Eunji! Hi!.” She waved at us and we greeted back. Yoobin also introduced her other friends, adding more stories and random things in our interesting conversation.
“Did y'all notice Haesoo being overly quiet since we arrived here?” Sunhee whispered to us.
My brows furrowed, “Who's Haesoo?” I genuinely asked since I still haven't known everyone on this trip.
Yoobin discreetly pointed behind me, I took a peek to see the same quiet woman who was talking to the other groups, “Her. That's Choi Haesoo.”
“She's Dohyun's friend who he met when he was working in Australia before.” Sunhee added.
“Dohyun worked in Australia? I didn't know that.” Taeha was taken aback.
“Yeah, he worked in a company as part of the marketing team. He also met his soon-to-be wife in Australia.” Yoobin explained further.
I nodded when I got that new information, “Wow, that's why he has a bit of an accent.” I chuckled.
We all stifled a laugh, “Yeah, he does.” Yoobin agreed.
We all ended the gossip when we saw Dohyun coming towards our table and joined us here, “How are y'all liking the day so far?” He asked with that contagious smile again.
We're loving it. The cabin is beautiful. This place is amazing. We're thankful you planned this. We all said those words in unison.
“Actually, I want to introduce myself to Haesoo since I remember we used to be in the same university.” Yoobin suggested to Dohyun.
Dohyun scooted closer to us, “She's not in the mood and I think she's pissed at me.”
All of us at this table were surprised.
“What happened?” Sunhee asked.
“Well,” Dohyun chuckled, “I actually invited his ex over. The one she dated for four years when we're still working in Australia.”
So that's why she's not that excited during the trip. But I respect her since she still agreed to come just for her friendship with Dohyun.
I was about to ask Dohyun something, we heard a car engine approaching the cabin. I looked over to see a black Range Rover and soon parked beside the shuttle service we used earlier. Who arrived so late?
“Fuck,” Dohyun cursed and stood up from his seat.
“Who's that?” Yoobin asked. Also has that bewildered look on her face.
The Range Rover car opened and revealed the person inside. Since it's a bit dark where the parking space is, I don't have a clear look on their face. All I know is that they're tall—very tall.
“Speaking of the devil, that's the person I've been talking about…” Dohyun said.
When they are now walking towards our direction. My heart stopped when the light shone down his face. All of the memories, either good or bad ones, played in my mind. My balled up my fists, trying to hide what I'm feeling right now.
“Is that…” Sunhee's lips curled to a smirk.
“Oh my god he's the ex.” Yoobin covered her mouth.
“The ex that Haesoo still has feelings for,” Dohyun added and that made Yoobin and Sunhee gasp but enjoying the drama.
Dohyun soon approached him and gave him a friendly hug, “Everyone, meet Lee Hojun. One of my friends from Australia.”
My frozen self watches Hojun politely bow, “Good evening everyone, sorry for being late.” He apologized.
That's Lee Hojun. The Lee Hojun I've known since I was little, the one that I spent my whole childhood with, the one who I shared my feelings with, and the one who left me behind.
After 20 years…I finally saw his face.
Is fate doing this all over again?

part 1
A/n:Hiii my loveliess thankyou so much fir the wait for part two,now this might take a while for them to actually yknow stary romancing but pleaseee still enjoy!!🩷
At the library
As the clock ticked and ticked you waited and waited. Was he ever going to show up?He better if he didn't want the whole world to know that Lee donghyuck was world class actor Lee dohyun’s son.Around the thirtieth minute finally the large wooden doors if the library opened and in came Donghyuck.
“You’re late”
“You waited” he smirked as you rolled your eyes. You couldn’t believe the boy you had pined over mentally was such a cocky jerk.
“C’mon lets start!”he chuckled as he opened my worn out textbook, scribbles and doodles such as “this is so STUPID” and “BORING!!” all over.
“Yknow maybe if you didnt just scribble in class youd probably pass”
“Yeah no shit sherlock” you giggled amused as he started explaining the different areas if confusion.Once.Twice.Thrice Each time he explained ,the words that flowed out if his mouth seemed to finally sing to you in a tune that you could remember.Maybe it was the pretty face of the man who spoke them,in your opinion it was your brain though.
Soon enough your brain had reached its limit, the textbook being stuffed in your brain.
“Right…that should be enough, see you never again”
W-wait whats do you mean never?I still have your top big secrety secret yknow!?”
“Did you really just use the word “secrety”,but i did what you said i tutored you”
“I meant until Exams!”
“UGHH! Fine!”
The next day
“So how’d it go?”asked yizuho as she applied, took off and reapplied her lipgloss. Her repeated actions making you sigh.
“First of all you look gorgeous-”a giggle left her before i continued”and second it was…fine i guess ,I finally learned something”
She gasps in turn.
“After a whole year and not understanding, finally?!”she chuckles causing you to playfully hit her arm.”cmon minjeongie already at the place”You huff as your phone dings with a notification of her text.As you guys entered the car , a sudden rush of euphoria entered your system as you awaited to see what the night would hold.would you finally get railed after months of just pushing your fingers in your core to appease your hunger for pleasure?Or would one if you friends end up embarrassing themselves and leave you with enough blackmail to get free coffee from minjeong and and insightful spy in the form of yizuho. As the two of you entered the high end bar where you’d be unwinding or the night,it wasnt difficult to see where Minjeong was, considering the fact she was living her bestlife and using her mariah carey esque vocals to sing along to the entertainment. As she saw you, a squeal errupted from her as as she beckoned you to join.Yizuhuo happily obliged whereas you signalled you would get a drink, causing Minjeong to pout before nodding.
As you sat down on a bar stool ordering a drink with an obnoxiously long name and price, you couldn't help but stare at the men around,y'know look for your options(okay Diva!!) when suddenly your eyes stopped, hovering over a man who looked like the exact boy you had been with yesterday.Tch , ofcourse he was here.Lee donghyuck, your sometimes crush sometimes the boy you hate, was almost everywhere, atleast in your opinion.
Quickly, you ducked your head as you saw him turn him around, hoping you guys wouldnt meet eyes like those moments in cliche novels. However,as you turned you regretted saying that as your eyes did meet from across the room, and it did feel as if everyone else had disappeared and left you two to explore the wonderous world together.
The seconds stretched between you and Donghyuck like a tangled thread, both of you frozen in that strange moment where everything else faded away. His gaze was intense, almost as if he were studying you, while you could barely breathe under the weight of it. Why did it feel like the world was suddenly too small?
You forced yourself to look away, feigning a nonchalant sip from your drink as your heart raced in your chest. But it was hard to ignore the pull—there was something magnetic about him, something you couldn’t resist, even if he was the cocky jerk you could never seem to stay mad at.
“. “You guys look like you’re about to have one of those ‘will they, won’t they’ moments.”startled Yizhuo as you gasped at her voice, realising she must have made her way to you.
“Shut up,” you muttered, feeling your cheeks flush. But Yizuho only smirked, clearly enjoying your discomfort. “Oh, I can tell. He’s not gonna let you get away that easily.” She nudged your arm, and you had to resist the urge to throw your drink in her face. Instead, you gave her a pointed look.
Meanwhile, Donghyuck had moved from his table and was slowly making his way toward the bar, looking impossibly casual in that way only he could. Each step felt like it was pulling him closer to you, the space between you shrinking until he was standing just a few feet away.
“Mind if I join you?” His voice was low, playful, and impossible to ignore. You rolled your eyes, trying to hide the way your pulse quickened. “And why…would you do that”
“For fun, also because you looked really bored even with ms gosip over here,” he replied, his smirk widening as he leaned against the bar, his presence taking up more space than you wanted to admit. You bit your lip, feeling both irritated and strangely exhilarated.
“What do you want, Donghyuck?”He tilted his head, eyes twinkling with amusement. “
Maybe just a little company. You’re not gonna act like I don’t exist now, are you?”
Your breath caught in your throat as you tried to come up with something clever to say, but all that came out was a soft
, “I wasn’t avoiding you.”
“Sure you weren’t,” he teased, his voice dripping with sarcasm. “Anyway, how’s the studying going? Did I manage to leave a lasting impression?”Your gaze snapped to him, and you could see the humor dancing in his eyes, the challenge lurking beneath the playful tone. You wanted to be annoyed, to shut him down, but instead, you found yourself wanting to prove him wrong.
“Well,” you began slowly, setting your drink down and meeting his gaze head-on. “You might not be the worst tutor I’ve had.”
Donghyuck grinned, clearly satisfied. “Guess I’ll take that as a compliment.”
As he leaned in just a bit closer, you couldn’t help but notice how the air between you seemed to charge, your heart beating just a little faster. You weren’t sure if this was the start of something more or just another one of those moments where he’d play with your mind until you hated him again. But in that moment, as his breath brushed against your ear, you didn’t care.
“Minjeong’s looking for you,” Yizuho chimed in, giving you a meaningful look. She was practically vibrating with excitement at the drama unfolding before her.
“Thanks,” you mumbled, casting one last glance at Donghyuck before reluctantly stepping away. The night was still young, and though you didn’t know where it would lead, you had a feeling Donghyuck would be sticking around far longer than you expected.

In need for a k(pop) roleplay partner!
(Long-term preferably, please <3)
MUSES Groups: SEVENTEEN, ATEEZ, SKZ, TXT, GOT7, MONSTA X, ONEUS, ENHYPEN, ZB1, TBZ, WAYV, SF9, A.C.E, VICTON, ONLYONEOF, RIIZE.
Singles: Jimin/Taehyung/Jungkook (BTS), Baekhyun (EXO), WOODZ, Woosung (THE ROSE), DPR Ian, BLOO, Bang Yongguk, Lee Minhyuk (HUTA/BTOB), LEGO (LYKN), Junseo (WEi), Cha Jungwoo, Park Sunghoon (mainly as Jeon Jaejun from 'The Glory'), Lee Dohyun, Kim Jihoon, Jeff Satur, Bas Asavapatr, Fuaiz Thanawat, Us Nititorn, Joong Archen, Boss/Noeul, Zeepruk, Hu Yetao (for BamTao only <3), Shun/Dai (The Boyfriend).
! Please, go through the list of muses before anything !
Hello! I'm searching for a RP partner for MxM plots and couples only, as you can see from my muses, so if you're into that, you already got bonus points for it, haha!
I can play 1x1 as much as I can play 2x2 if there's chemistry and we want to explore more than one pair, totally negotiable and up for it. I enjoy dark romance a lot, it involves a lot of drama and the dynamics always shift from uncertainty to angst, to even worse, depending on the trope and I've always had a soft spot for angsty, twisted stories with maddening desire and obsessive love. I'm up for morally gray characters as well, as long as we both discuss our limits, our YESes and hard NOs. I'm always careful with the heavy themes, because if I know my partner isn't comfortable with describing S/A (just an example), we won't be doing that at all. Or just mentioning it briefly, nothing to make the other person uncomfortable in any way. But I'm also good with sweet, fluffy cute stories and I can shape my characters into the nicest boyfriends if that's what you desire. I'm sure we can meet each other's preferences and that doesn't necessarily have to imply something dark. I can go from the passionate villain to the kindest lover without a problem. NSFW themes with a plot is what i truly enjoy, it's something that keeps me there, but only if the plot is intriguing and interesting enough for the both of us. I crave chemistry between our tastes as well, not only between our characters. I'm also a person that enjoys feedback for what I write and your ideas shared without hesitations might make my day better! (The dirtier, the better ;) ). I love sharing gifs and songs to highlight the mood or imagine stuff about our characters.
Lastly, I got to mirror my partners throughout the years, so if you want us to write in third person and to a certain length, there isn't something we can't work on together. Just don't treat me with the bare minimum and a dry speech. It's must be one of my hard icks. Communication is the key and I'm sure we can find suitable things for both of us if you're on the same page with me.
REACT TO THIS POST OR TEXT ME IF I MANAGED TO GET YOUR ATTENTION, THANK YOU!

Boas-vindas, @DY95KM!
Básico
Nome: Kang Minho Faceclaim: Lee Dohyun (ator) Data de nascimento: 31 de setembro de 1995 Gênero: masculino Nacionalidade e etnia: Coreia do Sul, coreano Ocupação: Técnico de Informática no e-Coffee Moradia: Noksapyeong-daero 26-gil, casa n° 42 Prompt: “O Contrabandista de Arte”
Características
Qualidades: sensual, intenso, muito dedicado Defeitos: bisbilhoteiro, orgulhoso, mentiroso
Biografia

request by @songdaiyu : Hello! Can I please request X1 reacting to your group being on Idol Room with them and them thinking that you’re gorgeous and funny? 💛
「 a/n: i’m not sure if you wanted x1 to be your boyfriend or make it platonic but i’ll do both! i hope you like it! ♡ 」
masterlist - requests
x1’s reaction to you being on idol room!
han seungwoo
once the two hosts announced your group’s name, seungwoo would be pretty shocked because you never told anything about going to idol room to him but nonetheless, he would secretly love it because he gets to see you more!
he would cutely giggle whenever you make a funny comment that would make x1, the two hosts and your group crack up in laughter. he already adores you so much, i think he would adore you even more.
cho seungyoun & kim wooseok
• cho seungyoun’s celebrity crush is you ever since you debuted, he mentioned you so much in interviews, etc. to the point where the directors thought it would be a great idea to invite you and your group. he would pull on that yoon jisung shocked face, where people thought he was acting.
he would totally fangirl maybe secretly or maybe even show it. when he finally saw you in real life, he thought you are a goddess that fell from heaven. after the shooting, he wouldn’t miss the chance to give his number to you :)
• kim wooseok would probably mentally compliment you like:
“YES! THATS MY GIRLFRIEND PEOPLE!”
but of course can’t say that out loud since the relationship is private and you guys wouldn’t want to expose your statuses. so when you guys go on a date or something, he would be sure to shower you with compliments.
kim yohan
when yohan saw your group and yourself apear, he would start mentally freaking out. since x1 knew he was a fan of your group and more specifically, you as his bias.
he started freaking out more when him and you were paired up for partners for a game. he didn’t realize that you were that funny and attractive until you guys won a game, you smiled cutely and went to high five yohan. who was dozed off at the sight of you, in a good way lmao.
lee hangyul
hangyul would be more hyper than usual, he would be really happy that you came and plus, they looked really pretty that day. not saying that they looked ugly before.
he would be so happy that the two hosts pointed his behavior out, hangyul would have to lie and say it was coffee or something like that. or saying that it’s his usual behavior. *cough* team rocket *cough*
cha junho
i feel like junho bb would actually try to avoid you haha, if you two were in a relationship, it would be because some people are crazy these days and somehow found out you two would be dating.
but if you guys didn’t know each other personally, i feel like he would avoid you because you looked so pretty in real life, he wouldn’t want to be near you because of that reason lol.
son dongpyo
dongpyo would clap and laugh at everything you would say. say something that’s not even funny? cue dongpyo cutely laughing while clapping.
in his eyes, you were actually really funny, from witty comebacks to funny comments that cracks everyone up. after he session, he would know for sure that he wants to be friends with you. or maybe even a bit more than friends ?
kang minhee
minhee would probably send you finger hearts secretly, he gave the brightest smile when he saw you and your group walk on to the set.
whenever you two are out with cameras around, you would send low key finger hearts to each other. yes it was risky but minhee and you loved the thrill of it. that day, minhee sent a lot of hearts which meant that he would want to compliment you during those times but couldn’t. he thought that the new hairstyle you tried on today looked really pretty and couldn’t wait to comment on it when you two are alone.
lee eunsang
eunsang wouldn’t exactly interact with you during the times when the cameras were rolling but whenever you caught his eye. he would lightly smile at you before looking somewhere else.
when you were dancing to girl group songs with hyeongjun though, he would cheer as loud as he can. he wants you to know that you slay because we stan queens/kings/royalty sisss.
hi i miss lee jinwoo :(
song hyeongjun
it was known that you and hyeongjun are really close friends since childhood. so he was estatic to see you after such a long time, due to both of your busy schedules and careers.
he would make sure to make some perfect friend goal pictures whether on the side-lines or not. he wanted to show off his beautiful and funny friend to the world and made sure of it.
nam dohyon
i feel like dohyon would pull on that face in the ghost scare ep when he heard a creaking noise and would scream when you two would always make eye contact.
dohyon is just a shy baby, so he would probably get teased a lot during that hour. but after that, he would probably try to act cool and ask you to hang out some time because “you seem cool and funny.”

SPRING OF 2002
Cherry blossoms. The prettiest flower that blooms when the season turns to spring. The coldness of the winter is still there but the sun rays are beautifully engulfing the sky, helping plants grow to life from the harsh winter snow.
Eunji, who just turned five, came down running from her room, scrambling around the buttons of her small jacket. Her mother saw the chaos from the corner of her eye as she stifled a laugh.
“Eunji, come here for a second.” Her mother beckoned her over and the little girl obeyed, slowly walking towards her while wearing the chaotic looking jacket because she accidentally put the wrong buttonholes.
“But the cherry blossoms.” Her eyes slowly filled with tears.
“I'm just going to fix your jacket, and then we'll go see the cherry blossoms.” Her mother calmed her down while buttoning her jacket right and then planted a kiss on her forehead.
The child's eyes gleamed in joy when she heard the words that came from her caring mother's mouth. Eunji was the happiest that day.
Just then the door opened, those familiar footsteps from their leather dress shoes made Eunji turn around with the largest smile on her face. She fled off her mother's hold and ran towards them.
“Daddy!” She screamed and threw herself towards her father who just got off early from work since he promised to have dinner with the family tonight.
“My angel!” Her father exclaimed, dropping his things on the floor and carrying his daughter in his welcoming arms, “Why are you wearing that thick jacket indoors?”
“She wanted to see the cherry blossoms, maybe we'll go to the park for a bit while you rest and then I'll prepare the dinner after—”
Eunji's father shook his head to his wife, “—don’t worry, I'll take her to the park and we'll buy some ice cream for our dessert later.” He winked at her and took his jacket.
Eunji's mother giggled, “Alright, have fun you two.”
Eunji and her father soon left the house. Eunji was skipping happily while walking towards the nearby park, singing children songs that talked about spring, even dancing to it. Her father loved Eunji's bright personality and he hopes she'll stay that way until she gets old.
“Daddy, look at me! I'm walking backwards!” Eunji practiced this—walking backwards, thinking it's an amazing skill. She can't wait to let her classmates see how she does it.
Her father chuckled, “You're doing great, but watch out for some—”
A happy laugh came from a distance and his father saw a kid running out of their house, unaware that he and Eunji, who is confidently walking backwards, will bump into each other.
“Eunji, wait!—”
Well, it's too late.
But little Eunji didn't fall on the ground.
The little boy caught her. His tiny arms hooked under her armpits.
“Oh god, are you both okay?!” Eunji's father checked on both children, checking if there were wounds. But to his surprise, no bruises or wounds.
He took Eunji in his arms and turn his attention to the boy, “I'm so sorry kid, are you—”
“What's happening here?”
A grown man's voice came between the scene and guessed it was the little boy's father. Eunji's father turned to look at the man and his eyes widened.
“Lee Jinhwang?!” Eunji's father exclaimed, not believing his eyes on who he's meeting right now, just a few minutes from his house.
Jinhwang furrowed his brows and soon recognized his friend all the way back in high school.
“Kim Youngchul?! Is that you?!” Jinhwang screamed.
“In the very flesh!”
The two grown men reunited with the warmest hug that they haven't done with years they've lost in their friendship. Back in the 80s, Lee Jinhwang and Kim Youngchul were those duo who looked like delinquents but actually excelled so high on their studies.
“Oh! Meet my daughter Eunji!” Youngchul showed little Eunji to Jinhwang, “Angel, say hello to uncle Youngchul!”
Little Eunji shyly waves her hand to Jinhwang while she's gripping on her father's pants.
“Hello Eunji! I'm uncle Jinhwang, your father's friend!,” Jinhwang waved back, “And meet my little boy too! Hojun, come here!”
The little boy from earlier walks towards his father and bow down to Eunji and her father, “Hello.” Hojun greeted them.
“Your son actually caught Eunji from falling earlier, so I'm thanking this little man here.” Youngchul showed his fist, asking the little kid for a fistbump, which Hojun gladly did.
“Really? Hojun, you did good, my boy.” Jinhwang patted his son's head and pulled him closer.
Eunji had been staring at Hojun, wondering if they would be friends. She remembers from her classmates that having a boy as a friend is weird, but Eunji thinks Hojun is not weird…because he helped her earlier.
“Are you perhaps living in this neighborhood too?” Jinhwang asked.
Youngchul nodded his head, “Yeah, we've been living here for five years, just two months after Eunji was born.”
Jinhwang was flabbergasted, “We just moved here this morning, god…I can't believe we're now neighbors! Isn't this fate?” He laughed.
“It really is fate, my friend. I'm really happy to see you again,” Youngchul patted his friend's shoulder, “But for now, we'll take our leave because my daughter wants to see the cherry blossoms in the park.”
“Oh sure! Have a great time,” Jinhwang bid his goodbye but he suddenly thought of something, “Actually, you and your family should come over tomorrow for dinner at our house.”
“Of course, we'll be there. Right, Eunji?” Youngchul lightly pinched Eunji's cheek.
Eunji nodded her head.
“Say your goodbyes to uncle Jinhwang and Hojun now.” Her father said.
Eunji bowed her head to Jinhwang and waved goodbye to Hojun, who also shyly waved goodbye.
“Why are you so late, Hojun?”
My discreet stare kept locking in on Hojun, who is being asked by Dohyun. They were sitting on the other table, where Choi Haesoo is earlier.
“I attended a virtual meeting with some executives back in Australia to let them give me some letter of recommendation for my new work here.” Hojun answered.
My heart skipped a beat again to hear how professional and stoic he's speaking. Like a computer. My eyes found Haesoo, still quiet and probably full of thoughts that's been bothering her—and I feel the same. She's just trying so hard to hide by talking to the others in that table.
“She's shaking so much.”
“What? Me?—oh um, who?” I suddenly blurted out those words in a slightly loud tone, feeling like I was caught from staring at Hojun.
Yoobin was surprised by my sudden reaction, “What are you rambling about?” she questioned.
“Oh, it's nothing…it's uh…I think I'm getting tired.” I pretend to yawn and stretch out my arms.
Goosebumps embraced my body when Taeha suddenly cupped my jaw as he observed my face, “You should get more rest, I noticed your eye bags getting worse.”
His face is so close—too close.
I can totally feel Yoobin's interested stare between me and Taeha, of course I defended myself, “I know that look Yoobin.”
“What look?” Yoobin innocently said, “But come on, you and Taeha looked good together. I thought you two were really together when I first saw you in the shuttle.”
I look over to Taeha who is flustered right now, “I…uh—” He stammered.
“—no way, he's just my friend. A very good friend.” I cut him off his words. I stood up from my seat and excused myself.
“Eunji, where are you going?” Dohyun asked when I walked past their table. I stopped my tracks as I lay my eyes on Hojun, who is sitting across Dohyun.
“I'm going back to my room, I feel kinda tired. I'm excited for the nature walk tomorrow though. See you all in the morning.” I explained to my friend and at the same time, hoping that Hojun would recognize me.
But he didn't even add something in the brief conversation, not even a hello, or how have you been?
We really are strangers. But I really accept these consequences between our history since it's been two whole decades that we last saw each other.
“I'll excuse myself now, have fun for the rest of the evening.” I bowed my head down and strolled back inside the cabin. Soon I found myself running upstairs and into our room.
I lean my back against the door, hands clutching my chest as I hear my heart thumping loudly. I have to stop feeling like this, he's just my childhood friend—only a friend!
I threw myself on my bed and curled into a ball with the thick duvet, “But why am I so affected that he's not noticing me? We didn't even have a proper past! We were only kids!” I argued with myself, trying to vent out everything.
I kind of want to tell my father that I met Hojun again, but if I tell him, maybe he'll tell uncle Jinhwang?
“That's not a good idea. I'm not gonna tell my parents about this.” I shook my head and then calmed myself down.
The door suddenly opens to see Taeha, upon the look on his face, I can tell he’s worried. I also noticed the two mugs in his hand that are steaming hot.
“Eunji? Are you still not feeling well?” Taeha asked, sitting down on the edge of my bed then gave me one of the mugs—it was hot chocolate.
My heart swells that he always remembers that I drink hot chocolate whenever I’m not feeling well.
“Not anymore,” I chuckled when I sipped on the hot chocolate he made, “Thank you for the hot chocolate. This comforts me so much.”
Taeha warmly smiled and also took a sip on his own mug, “By the way, I noticed that…your face looked so puzzled when that friend of Dohyun came. Is he perhaps…familiar to you?” He curiously asked.
I stopped indulging in my hot chocolate when he suddenly asked that, but I tried my very best to show off my poker face behind the emotions I’m experiencing right now, “No, I thought he’s someone I used to know…but I was wrong.” I lied.
“Alright,” Taeha nodded his head. I was relieved that he believed my lie. I’m still not ready to tell him about Hojun and how I feel about him, “Dohyun said that the nature walk tomorrow starts at 7 in the morning, so I suggest we'll take a shower tonight for us to have more time to get ready tomorrow.”
“Okay, I’ll just finish this hot chocolate and then I’ll take a bath.” I agreed on Taeha and continued drinking.
I hope I can sleep peacefully after what I’ve felt tonight.
What did I expect? Of course I slept perfectly.
The bed is the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on and since my body is still getting more sleep from work, I automatically passed out after I took a bath last night. The hot chocolate also helped put me to sleep. When I woke up, I glanced over Taeha's bed to see it’s already empty. Panic rushed through my veins and instantly took my phone on the bedside table, only seeing the time is still 5:30 am
I became at ease when I realized that I’m not late for the nature walk, but instead confused about where Taeha is in the early morning. My questions were answered when the door opened, revealing Taeha who was wearing a compression tank top and spandex shorts. Sweat glistened over his face as he took off his wireless earphones.
Taeha noticed that I’m already awake, “Good morning, did you sleep well?” He asked.
I was about to respond to him but I turned speechless when he lift up his tank top for him to wipe away the sweat on his face, showing his chiseled torso and the hint of body hair leading down to his—
What am I even thinking?!
My face turned red again as I looked away from him, pretending that I’m looking at the window and enjoying the view, “I..uh, yeah, I did sleep well. How about you?”
“I did too and took a stroll earlier to see the sunrise and workout too. This place is so soothing. No loud cars and pollution like we always see in our apartment.” Taeha replied.
I should’ve got up early too to see the sunrise. I imagine it to be so beautiful with the scenery of the lake. I stood up from my bed and looked out the window. Seeing the large trees and lake made me feel that excitement for the nature walk and Dohyun mentioned that there’s a nearby falls and that’s where we’re going.
“You should get ready for the nature walk now.” Shiver ran down my spine when I felt Taeha’s low voice behind me. I turned around to see him striding close to me, trapping me against the window. A mischievous smile painting over his lips.
“T-Taeha, why are you—”
He leaned in closer again and I just closed my eyes, expecting if something happened…but there was nothing.
“My bag is behind you, I'll have to get my towel.” He said.
I immediately opened my eyes and felt that stupidness on what I've been thinking about, “Y-you should've told me in the first place.” I stammered and returned to my bed. Still shocked at what just happened.
Taeha took his towel and clothes to change, “I'll shower for a bit. You should also get some insect repellent, there's a lot of mosquitoes outside.” He said and then entered the bathroom.
I took my pillow and shoved my face right onto it, screaming on the soft pillow, venting out on how stupid I was earlier. It's still our second day here and it's staring off so bad.
These mixed signals from Taeha and Lee Hojun coming into my life again.
I removed the pillow from my face, “I'm going to survive this damn week. Just five days left and everything will be going back to normal again.” I said to myself and stood up from my bed, getting my stuff ready for the nature walk.
“Good morning everyone! Is everyone ready for the nature walk?”
Dohyun is again sending us some energy and motivation to go on a nature walk this morning. Some were excited and some were not a bunch of morning people. Well, I'm in the middle of it all.
The sun hung up in the sky beautifully today, its rays dancing over the water of the lake. The air is warm and thick with the scent of trees. All twelve of us soon began walking towards the trail and up to a ridge where we could see the falls.
The dirt path is a bit soft beneath our shoes and leaves that fell cracking on each step. I can also hear the sound of the birds chirping, making a beautiful symphony that is being accompanied by our chatter as we continue walking.
Others are now snapping some pictures, pausing to take a picture of the view or some tiny details like the sun rays peeking through the canopy of leaves and a butterfly resting on a flower.
“This feels so comforting. And I feel like I went back to my childhood days where me and my parents used to go camping. My father loved nature walks.” I smiled as I reminisced about those simple but happy times.
“That's nice, you seem to be the happiest kid.” Taeha responded, also smiling over my tiny personal story.
My eyes found Hojun walking just a few steps ahead of us and who was surprisingly talking to Haesoo.
And they were…smiling.
“Yeah, I was.” I said with a smile, thinking about how Hojun also made my childhood happy.
It's already been an hour since we started walking towards the falls and Dohyun announced that in only a few minutes we will be surprised by nature's beauty. Me and Taeha kept the random stories about each other going.
I tried walking backwards again, explaining to Taeha that when I was five, I thought this was a rare skill. Making us both laugh.
“That's so cute, but really? Nobody in your classmates knows how to walk backwards?” Taeha can't believe it.
“Yeah! When they do it, they fall back.” I chuckled.
“Five year old you surely gained a lot of confidence when—”
Taeha's response was cut off when my feet suddenly hit a large protruding tree root on the ground, and since I'm walking backwards, I knew I'll meet the dirty ground already.
My eyes were closed, waiting for that solid ground, but nothing happened. Instead, I felt strong arms hooked under my armpits, catching me from falling. This feels so deja Vu.
My breath hitched when I decided to look up who caught me from falling—it was him. Lee Hojun.
Words are not even processing in my brain right now. All I'm feeling is his arms, those steady, firm but gentle arms sending a jolt to me stronger than the adrenaline I've felt from nearly falling.
Our eyes finally meet and then hear him say his first words to me after 20 years, “Are you okay?” Hojun asked.
Everything is now processing inside my head again as I immediately stood my ground and fixed myself. I only managed a shaky nod as a response to him, my words lost somewhere between embarrassment or that overwhelming feeling.
“Eunji,” I heard Taeha behind me and immediately checked if I had bruises or cuts, “Oh thank God you don't have cuts.”
Hojun suddenly spoke between me and Taeha, “Look over your girlfriend next time, getting cuts in these woods would lead to infection.” He said before walking away again.
Fuck, he really don't know me anymore. I'm even sure he heard my name from Taeha earlier, but didn't that ring a bell for him? He even called me Taeha's girlfriend!
“Come on, the others are now way ahead of us.” Taeha held my hand as we continued walking, pretending as if nothing just happened.
Of course that interaction between me and Hojun was nothing for Taeha, but to me, after those years without interaction made me feel something. It's even like the first time we met when we were kids.
After several minutes of walking, we finally heard the sound of rushing water from a distance. Me and Taeha grew our excitement as we ran towards where the sound was. My heart quickened when we finally saw it—the falls.
It's cascading down the rugged rocks and down with its silvery stream glistening in the light of the sun. Mist is dancing in the air, sending a cooling breeze on my skin. We took a step closer, resting on the rocks that surrounded the water. I decided to take my shoes and socks off as I stepped into the shallow water, feeling the cold water from the falls engulfing my feet, sending chills down my spine.
“This place is like a huge painting, I just want to stay here forever.” I said, wading a bit deeper and my feet splashing playfully at the water’s surface.
Taeha chuckled, “Yeah, it really is.”
I watched Taeha also take off his shoes and socks, wanting to join me from wading in the shallow water, but then something unexpected happened. I was shocked when Taeha let out an undignified yelp as he landed on his backside in the shallow water, sending a splash towards me and in another direction. For a second, only silence was heard between us but then I couldn't help but burst into laughter, doubling over the tears that welled in my eyes.
“Taeha! Oh god what happened to you?” I gasped between my fit of giggles, “Are you okay?”
Taeha, who is now soaking wet and blushing like crazy, tried to laugh it off as he still sat there in the cold water, “I actually meant to do that, for me to hear you laugh.” He said with a crooked grin.
I finally recovered from laughing as I reached out my hand to him, helping him up, “Yeah right, I definitely saw that moss-covered part of the rocks and you actually stepped on it earlier.”
Taeha gasped, “And you didn’t tell me?” That face shows how betrayed he was.
I giggled, “You’re such a dork.” I said warmly, eyes sparkling in amusement.
“Yeah yeah you got me. Now let’s dry ourselves off. I think the others are now also getting ready to leave.” Taeha said, setting himself up on the dry rocks again. He hoists me up with him as we dry ourselves, but I’m still stifling a laugh over his drenched clothes, the scene replaying in my mind again.
Then my eyes caught Hojun’s direction again, who was also having fun with the others. He still has that adorable gummy smile when he was a kid. All of those memories of us as children are now hidden away from him and I think I should really accept it. I have to remind myself that time changes and people change. Those little moments she’d cherished are now rendered meaningless, swept away from the passage of time.
My train of thoughts were interrupted when Taeha offered his hand to me again, “Come on Eunji, let’s go.”
Now that Taeha has been the greatest friend I’ve had, I think this is now the change that’s been offered to me. A new person that will be sharing a lot more memories than I had with Hojun. Life had moved on and I think so had I, finding something far better than her distant memories: a new friendship now rooted in the present, hoping that it’s finally steady and true.

The music is loud against Jeonghan’s ears as he dances with a girl he doesn’t even know the name of, not that he wants to know her name. She turns around and wraps her arms around the back of his neck, giving him a smirk. “Enjoying the view?”
Jeonghan grins, leaning in towards her ear to whisper, “Maybe.”
The unknown girl giggles at the ticklish feeling from Jeonghan’s lips, only making his smile wider as he moves closer to ask,
“Wanna get out of here?”
“Hannie! Hannie, we have to go.” Jeonghan curses at the familiar voice, turning around to see Chan with a frantic expression on his face, and that’s when he knows it’s serious. “Is it Minji?”
“It’s Minji.” Jeonghan removes himself from the stranger’s arms without another word and follows after Chan. They hurry out of the club, the cold spring night air hitting them as they walk. Jeonghan stops for a moment, looking up at the stars as he wonders what could’ve happened.
“Jeonghan! Come on!” The black haired beauty takes one last breath of the night air before rushing over to Chan’s car.

“Minji, please calm down!” Jeonghan hears as soon as he and Chan enter Minji’s house. His eyes widen when he hears a loud crash from upstairs, and he sprints up the stairs fast as he can, bursting in through her bedroom door to see Minji crying while holding a flower vase in hand. Her mom turns to look at Jeonghan helplessly, and he nods his head at her.
“Minji, look at me.” Jeonghan says softly, and she keeps her eyes trained to the floor as she clutches the vase tightly. He takes a few steps closer as Chan walks in quietly behind him, choosing to stay back since he knows Jeonghan handles these situations better. “Minji.”
It’s when she’s about to throw the vase that Jeonghan grabs her wrist to stop her, pulling her into a hug with his other arm. She freezes for a moment, before letting out a small sob into Jeonghan’s shoulder, closing her eyes as she takes in her best friend’s comforting scent. “It’s okay Minji, we’re here. Chan and I are here.”
Chan finally walks over, resting his hand on Minji’s back as she cries. He takes a glance at Jeonghan to see him with a stoic expression on his face, eyebrows slightly furrowed as the sounds of Minji’s sobs get louder.
who the fuck did this to her.

“I always knew Dohyun was a piece of shit. Can’t believe he’s already showing interest in another girl when you guys just broke up.” Chan grumbles to himself as he places his water back down. The three of them are sitting on Minji’s floor, talking about what caused her breakdown. She lets out a small sigh, running a hand through her hair, “I should’ve listened to your protests from the start. He was too charming though.”
“That’s how they get you. I mean, look at Jeonghan.” The person in question chokes on his drink, turning to look at his blonde haired best friend with a furrow to his brow.
“Why the fuck am I being brought into this?”
“He’s a charming ass guy,” Chan continues, choosing to ignore Jeonghan. “That’s how he’s able to pull in any person he shows the slightest bit of interest in. Then when he gets what he wants, poof. He’s gone.” Jeonghan chuckles, not finding it in himself to deny Chan’s explanation.
Cause he’s right.
Minji’s eyebrows furrow once an idea comes to mind, and she stands up along with the plan forming in her head. Jeonghan and Chan look at her with confused expressions on their faces, and she flashes them a small smile.
“The best type of revenge is to hurt the person that means the most to them. Correct?” The two guys nod at her, not sure where she’s going with this.
“And Chan says that Hannie is a bit of a fuckboy, right?” Jeonghan rolls his eyes at the term, opening his mouth to argue and Minji flashes him a look. He sighs, nodding his head and leaning back onto the bed frame.
“What if we have Jeonghan swoop in and take the girl Dohyun’s interested in, have her fall completely in love with our sweet, sweet Hannie. Then he breaks her heart when the task is completed, so not only will Dohyun feel sad for her, but he’ll feel guilty knowing this wouldn’t have happened if he didn’t move on so fast.” Minji says with a grin, looking at her two friends to see their reactions. Chan frowns immediately at the idea, while Jeonghan stares back at Minji with an open-mouthed smirk.
“We haven’t done anything fun like this in a while, I think it’d be cool.” Minji claps her hands in glee at his response, about to start planning the whole thing when Chan intervenes. “I don’t think this is a good idea. I understand revenge on Dohyun, but why do we have to bring the girl into it? She didn’t do anything wrong to Minji.”
“I don’t see why not. Don’t be a party pooper Chan, just help us plan it out mm?” Chan stares at his two best friends, obviously seeing he won’t be able to get through to them. He lets out a sigh, raising up his hand as a way of saying well, get along with it.
“Well what I know about this girl is that her name is yln yn. She’s a year younger than us and goes to the same uni. Apparently she and Dohyun were close when they were in high school, but lost contact when he moved.”
“So his first love basically.” Jeonghan states, and Minji nods at him. “Ding, ding, ding! You’re correct. She works at the flower shop down by that cat café near your guys’ apartment complex.”
“Sounds like you know a lot about her for someone who just got their heartbroken.” Minji slaps the back of Chan’s head and he lets out a small whine. Jeonghan chuckles as he watches Chan rub the back of his neck, glaring up at Minji.
“Have to know the enemy, don’t I?” She asks with a smirk. Jeonghan takes a sip of his water before turning towards Minji and asking, “So what’s the plan?”
She bites her lip excitedly, walking over to grab her corkboard and sticky notes. Minji turns back around with a big smile.
“Here’s what I was thinking…”

“I hope your wife enjoys the bouquet Mr. Lee!” He gives you a big smile, waving bye as he steps out of the shop. You let out a breath, feeling satisfied by another happy customer. Leaning back onto the counter, you grab your water bottle and take a sip, only to immediately choke and spit it back out into the bottle when the door chimes.
“Hi, welcome to-” The words die in your throat when you see the man who walked in. His black hair is parted down the middle, framing his delicate, but strong features. He’s wearing a white turtleneck with a beige overcoat, making it appear as if he just came out of a photoshoot.
The infamous Yoon Jeonghan, a senior at Seoul National University. He’s notorious for sweeping people off their feet in a matter of minutes, being both charming and handsome really works in his favor. You can’t deny that he’s the most beautiful man you’ve ever seen, but you’ve heard the rumors.
don’t get pulled in.
He runs a hand through his hair, flashing you a smile as he steps over to the counter.
oh jesus.
“Hi, I heard you guys make really pretty bouquets?” You nod your head silently, and he cocks his head to the side.
oh BITCH! You’re supposed to speak!
“I mean, I guess so! I’d say bouquets and flower crowns are our specialty.” Jeonghan lets out a small smile, finding you to be a lot cuter than he originally expected. “What’s the occasion?”
Jeonghan takes a good look at you, analyzing your features as you look at him expectantly. He stares into your eyes, tilting his head when he sees how they sparkle back at him. He’s heard a lot about people holding stars in their eyes, but he never believed it.
Until now.
“Um, sir?” Jeonghan shakes his head, rubbing the back of his neck as he snaps himself out of his daze. You look down at your hands, feeling shy at the fact that you just caught Jeonghan basically checking you out. He grins at your shyness, “It’s my friend’s birthday soon, I wanted to get her something nice.”
“Okay, well here’s a photobook of our recent bouquets we’ve made, as well as the customer favorites. My favorite flowers are daisies, but I personally like bouquets with sunflowers because,”
Jeonghan listens attentively as you explain the different bouquets, and the meaning of the flowers added to them. He watches the way your eyes sparkle even more when you talk about something you’re passionate about, even letting out giggles when you look up at him with a bright smile on your face.
“Well, I suppose I’ll get the sunflower bouquet you recommended to me.” You nod your head, typing in the order into the computer. “Great decision.”
“What time will it be ready tomorrow?” Jeonghan asks, leaning forward onto the counter. You find yourself scooting backwards from the close proximity, choosing to look busy with the computer. “I can have it ready by 12 pm, if that works for you?” The pretty boy nods his head, grinning at your shyness.
this will be a piece of cake, Jeonghan thinks to himself.
“Yeah, that’s perfect. My name is Yoon Jeonghan by the way.” You nod your head as you type in his name for the order. Glancing up from the computer screen you see him watching you with an amused expression on his face, and you raise an eyebrow. “Is there something on my face? Shit, it might be the sparkles from that ribbon...”
Jeonghan giggles at you, shaking his head. “No, there’s nothing on your face, yn.” You raise an eyebrow again, and he smiles. “How do you know my name?”
He points at your nametag, and you look down at your hands, letting out a small, ah.
I… am stupid.
“Both silly and beautiful, a great combo.” Your eyes widen at the compliment, realizing you’re about to be one of the people that Jeonghan breaks and that’s when you snap out of it. Jeonghan’s smile drops slightly when he sees you look at him with a serious expression on your face, stark contrast to the shy smile you were sporting previously.
“I’ll see you tomorrow, Jeonghan.” He nods his head slowly, giving you a smile before walking out of the shop. You let out a breath, leaning back onto the counter and closing your eyes.
not gonna fall for it.

“It’s been two weeks and you’re telling me she hasn’t fallen for you yet?” Minji asks Jeonghan as they hangout by the bar. They watch Chan from across the club, seeing him giggling with a girl. Jeonghan takes a sip of soju, letting out a sigh as he remembers his failed attempts of asking you on a date.
“No one’s ever said no to me before, so that shit kinda hurt my ego.” Minji rolls her eyes, muttering about how you must either be blind or stupid, or both.
probably both.
“Maybe I should’ve made Chan do it.” Jeonghan flashes her a glare, turning away to look around the club. His thoughts keep going back to the first time you turned him down, and he chugs the rest of his soju.
“Here’s the bouquet! I hope your friend likes them.” You tell Jeonghan with a smile, handing him the delicate yellow bouquet. He grins at the bright assortment, finding them a lot prettier than expected. He glances up at you, finding himself staring into your eyes once again as he says,
“She’ll love them, thank you.” You nod your head, typing into the computer that you’ve given the client the flowers. Jeonghan stands idle for a moment, and you look back at him, wondering why he hasn’t left yet.
“Is there something else-”
“Would you like to go on a date with me?” Your eyes widen, clearly taken aback by his request, before you chuckle, “No thank you.”
“Great! I’ll pick you up at—wait.” You stare at him in amusement as he fumbles over his words. “Did you say no?”
“I did.”
“Why?”
“I know the type of guy you are, Jeonghan.” Jeonghan’s shocked expression turns into an amused smile, and you watch as he even lets out a small laugh, shaking his head. He leans onto his elbows on the counter, staring into your eyes, “And what may that be?”
You smile, and he waits for your response. You lean onto the counter as well, watching as Jeonghan swallows from the close distance between the two of you that you initiated.
“The one that makes any girl he wants melt into putty in his hands. Then when he gets what he wants, he leaves. I’m not going to fall for it, Yoon Jeonghan.” He blinks at you in shock, and you give him a sweet smile, leaning back and taking a sip of water from your water bottle..
“Have a wonderful day.” Jeonghan snaps out of his state of surprise, and lets out a deep chuckle, looking at you with a challenge to his eye.
“I’ll prove you wrong, pretty. I’ll see you around.”
Jeonghan scowls at the memory, and Minji lets out a sigh when she turns her head to see the crease between his eyebrows. She reaches up and rubs the area with her thumb until the frown disappears, and she gives him a smile.
“Let’s dance, hm?” Not waiting for his answer, she grabs Jeonghan’s hand and brings him onto the dance floor. They sway with each other for a few minutes, Jeonghan clearly still thinking of you as he blindly follows Minji’s lead. She squints at how unusual Jeonghan’s being, and pats the top of his head.
“She’ll come around Hannie, they always do. When she does, remember the plan.” Minji says in an attempt to reassure him, and he bites his lip, thoughts trailing back to your smile as he says,
“She’s not like them though.”

“Jeonghan, why are you here again?” You ask boredly as you spray the daisies at the front of the shop, not even sparing him a glance. He freezes, before holding out an unopened boba, and you finally turn your head to see him looking at anything but you. “I got you the classic pearl green milk tea, I wasn’t sure what your favorite flavor was so I decided to play it safe.”
You stare for a moment, finding it sort of endearing that he’s too shy to even glance at you right now. Deciding to be nice, you reach out and take it, feeling warmth flood your face when he finally locks eyes with you. Jeonghan wipes his original surprised expression off his face, now smiling at the fact that you took the drink.
It’s been three weeks since Jeonghan’s ordered those flowers, and he’s visited the shop every time you're on shift. He hasn’t even bought flowers since the day he ordered the bouquet, he just comes to talk to you and help out in the shop. He keeps trying to take you out on a date, but you never give him the time of day. Your own boss has fallen for him, nudging your hip and telling you to “say yes to the handsome man!” You’ve never heard of Jeonghan trying so hard to get with someone, let alone drag it out for three weeks. So now you’re left wondering if he genuinely does like you?
“It’s my favorite flavor, thank you.” Jeonghan lets out a sigh of relief, and the corner of your lip quirks up. You cough into your shoulder, turning around to walk back into the shop after an awkward silence settles over the two of you. He reaches out and grasps your elbow softly to stop you, and you slowly turn your head to look back at him.
“Are you going to ask me if I can go out with you again?”
“…”
“You already know my answer, Jeonghan.”
“Give me one night.” You don’t pull away, and he takes it as a sign to continue. “Let me take you out on one date, and I’ll let you decide whether I’m the type of guy you think I am. You can leave whenever you want, I just want one chance with you.” You stare into his eyes, finding truth to his words, and you let out a sigh.
“Okay.” Jeonghan tries to fight the smile emerging onto his face, resulting in his pretty lips quivering a bit.
“Okay.”
“… Okay.”
“I’ll see you.” Jeonghan says, turning around and beginning to walk away. You immediately frown, “You’re not going to give me your number?!”
“Check the boba!” He yells back, and you glance at the cup to see his number written on it, along with a message.
have a good day at work, yn <3
Biting your lip to stop the warmth from rushing to your cheeks, you turn your head to look at Jeonghan’s retreating figure. A smile breaks out on your face when you see him raise his hands in the air in victory, and you feel your heart warm.
“I guess he’s serious.”

“Hey, I’m here.” Jeonghan says into his phone, and he chuckles at the numerous curses you mutter as you slip on your shoes in a hurry. “I’ll be out in a sec!”
Hanging up the phone, Jeonghan makes sure the passenger seat is clean. He grabs his water bottle, taking a sip as you step into the car. When he swallows the water, he opens his mouth to greet you, only to pause when he lays eyes on you.
Instead of the t-shirt, jeans, and apron he always sees you in at work, you’re wearing a pleated black skirt with a white dress shirt and an oversized argyle patterned vest over it. Feeling Jeonghan’s stare on your side-profile, you turn your head and lock eyes with him, and he snaps out of his daze.
“You, uh.” He coughs into his shoulder in an attempt to hide the blush rising up his cheeks, “You look pretty.” Jeonghan mutters, and you smile shyly.
“Thanks, you look nice too.” He chuckles, pulling out of your driveway. “Just nice?”
“Just nice Jeonghan, don’t push my kindness.” You joke and he rolls his eyes at you. He hands you his phone for you to aux, and you smile happily as you search up a Day6 song to play. Jeonghan sneaks glances at you, and you chuckle when you notice.
“You’re gonna get us in an accident if you keep turning your head to look at me.” He sputters, and you laugh at his reaction. He takes one more look at you as you giggle, finding the sound of your laugh a lot cuter than he should.
“Where are we going for our date?” You ask, and he shrugs. He takes a right at the stoplight before grinning at your question. “You’ll see.”
“Oooh, so it's a surprise?” Jeonghan doesn’t respond, instead letting out a small hum to the tune of Day6’s new song. You smile, looking out the window to take in the view of Seoul at night for the remainder of the car ride.

“So, how was the date? It’s been like three weeks since we all last hung out like this. I need updates, Jeonghan, updates.” Minji states as she flips the brisket on the grill. Chan takes a cooked piece, turning to look at his friend for his response.
Jeonghan stares at the meat, a small grin appearing on his lips as he remembers how your guys’ first date ended.
“Can’t believe you fell while we were ice skating.” You giggle, and Jeonghan lets out a whine, patting his rather sore butt. He shoots you a playful glare, to which you stick your tongue out at him as he walks you to your door.
“At least I know I was able to make you laugh that hard on our first date.” Jeonghan jokes, and you give him a small smile. You’re surprised that tonight was so fun, it truly exceeded your expectations. The surprise location was the ice skating rink, to which you were incredibly excited for.
Jeonghan brought you there in hopes that he could teach you how to skate, but little did he know, you already knew how to. It ended up becoming a competition between the two of who could do the most intricate tricks. You won though, because Jeonghan literally ate shit when he tried to do an axle.
“So, yn, what’s your final opinion of me after tonight? Am I the type of guy you originally thought I was?” Jeonghan asks once the two of you make it to your doorstep. You stare at him for a moment, taking in his handsome features. Tonight’s date was fun, and you learned a lot more about him than you ever thought you would. He’s charming, funny, kind, and lastly, you find him to be genuine.
As you look at Jeonghan, you let out a small breath when you come up with your verdict, and he nervously awaits your response even though he hides it well.
“I don’t know.”
“You don’t know?” He repeats, and you give him a big smile as you open your front door. You slip off your shoes, and turn back to look at Jeonghan.
“Have to go on a second date to come up with my opinion.” You say, closing the door before he can ask anymore questions.
Jeonghan stands there for a moment, letting your words process in his brain. Once it finally hits him, he lets out a smile, clapping his hands in victory. Jeonghan pumps the air, stepping off your porch and heading towards his car with newfound confidence and excitement filling his veins.
It’s been three weeks since then, and you and Jeonghan have gone on three more “official dates.” The other times the two of you have hung out are for some reason, not considered dates, more of you guys just bonding. Whether it be helping each other with homework, Jeonghan coming to help you at the shop, or the two of you doing late night convenience store runs to eat ramen, there’s something going on between the both of you.
Chan is able to sense something different as he stares at his friend, knowing that this was going to happen. Minji notices as well, considering that Jeonghan still hasn’t answered her question. She frowns at him, reaching out and slapping his arm. He jumps back, startled, as he looks at his two best friends.
“You don’t like yn… right?” Minji asks, to which Jeonghan stares at her as memories of you flood his mind when he tries to come up with an answer. He remembers the way your whole face lights up when food gets placed in front of you, and how you just let your glasses fog up when the two of you eat ramen. He’s tried to take your glasses off when you eat the hot noodle dish, but you would slap his hand away each time, giving him a smile.
“my glasses are just having a sauna, leave them be.”
Minji tilts her head to the side, and that’s when Jeonghan cracks a small smile, looking up at her. “No, I don’t like yn.”

You lay on your bed, scrolling through Twitter to try and find some cursed emoji pictures when you hear your front door unlock. Jeonghan steps in with a bucket of fried chicken, taking off his shoes and slipping into the pair of slippers you left by the door. He places the food on your kitchen counter, before walking over to your room and peeking his head inside to see you laying on your bed, not even giving him a glance.
“You know, if it wasn’t me who entered your house and instead it was some crazy serial killer, you absolutely would’ve died.” Jeonghan says, announcing his presence. You finally look away from your phone, giving him a sarcastic laugh before going back to Twitter. He scoffs, walking into your room and snatching your phone out of your hands.
“Hey!”
You open your mouth to argue, only for Jeonghan to interrupt by saying, “Come eat first, I brought chicken.” It promptly shuts you up, and you stand up off your bed, quickly following him into the kitchen.
You let out a squeal once you see the chicken, opening up the container and taking out a piece. You take a bite, and Jeonghan watches you with a knowing grin on his face. You squint your eyes at him, pointing at the chicken to get him to eat as well. He rolls his eyes, grabbing one and taking a bite.
The two of you spend the next half hour finishing up the chicken. With Jeonghan threatening to throw a bone at you, and you sneaking the crispy pieces of his chicken whenever he’s not looking. Once you’re both done though, you sit down on your couch, still a bit of space between the two of you.
You and Jeonghan have been hanging out for a month and a half now, him even having the spare key to your place while you have his. Sometimes he just randomly comes over to do homework on your floor which scares your roommate to death sometimes, while you sneak over to his at night to steal some of his soju when you run out. Other times you both just watch movies together or play video games. You don’t know what you guys are as neither of you have made a move to make it official.
In all honesty, all the two of you have done to progress your relationship is accidentally brush your hands together. Jeonghan’s just waiting to see if your opinion of him has officially changed, while you’re waiting for him to ask you to be his girlfriend as you are too shy to ask him.
“Yn.” You turn your head to look at Jeonghan, eyes glazing over his handsome features. His black hair that’s usually straight is resting in slight waves on his forehead, emphasizing the overall soft look that he has going on today. “Mm?”
“Have you come up with your final opinion?” Jeonghan asks, reaching out and tucking a stray piece of hair that fell over your nose behind your ear. When you look up into his eyes and he sees the sparkle in them, his hand freezes, staying rested on your cheek.
Your eyes slowly trail down at his pink lips, heart rate increasing when his tongue darts out to lick them. Jeonghan stares at you, feeling the tension in the room rise as he watches your eyes move back up from his mouth. His thumb brushes against your cheek, beginning to hear his heartbeat in his ears by how nervous he is.
“Yn.”
“Jeonghan.”
“Can I kiss you?” Jeonghan watches the way your eyes sparkle up at him, finding himself to be the luckiest man in the world to see you like this. You nod your head slowly, letting out a breath, “Yeah.”
Without wasting another second, Jeonghan leans in close and tentatively presses his lips to yours. Your hand reaches up, entangling your fingers into his hair. He pulls away, just to capture your lips again after a second of staring, slowly leaning you back until you’re laying on the couch.
i don’t like her. i don’t like yn. Jeonghan mutters in his brain like a mantra the more he kisses you. His hand lowers to your hip, squeezing it slightly when you tug on his hair again. He hears his heartbeat in his ears, tingles in his stomach when you slightly suck on his bottom lip.
i don’t like her. this is a game. this is for minji.
“Be my girlfriend?” Jeonghan whispers against your lips in between kisses, completely ignoring what the voices in his head are saying. You pull away, looking at him with wide eyes, but his gaze is focused on your pretty swollen lips.
“Did you just?” He glances up into your eyes, and he lets out a small smile. A giggle comes out of you, and you raise a hand to your warm face.
“Yeah, I’ll be your girlfriend, Hannie.” Jeonghan bites his lip as a grin breaks out onto his face, before leaning back down and kissing you breathless again.
if i didn’t like her, then why do i feel like this? why do i wanna kiss her more, why do i only want to kiss her, why do i not want her kissing anyone else like this?
why does it feel like this isn’t just some game anymore?

“You’re crazy.”
“Says the one who tried to duct tape their friend to the wall once.”
“Okay, in my defense,” You stare at Jeonghan across the table, giving him an amused smile as you wait for him to continue. “Chan let me duct tape him to the wall. It was a joint effort yn.”
You roll your eyes, reaching out and hitting his shoulder lightly, before taking a sip of your boba. Jeonghan smiles at the sparkle in your eyes, taking note that the sunlight hitting your skin is as beautiful as the cherry blossoms blooming in the spring.
It’s been two months since you and Jeonghan have called it official, three and a half months since the day you guys met, and the two of you have become the talk of your guys’ university. Everyone who knows Jeonghan as the guy who never settles, has finally settled. You’re in the limelight as well, girls either being envious or worried for you, and guys nodding their heads in approval at Jeonghan’s decision.
“You’re really pretty like this.” Your eyes widen in surprise at the sudden compliment, beginning to feel shy by Jeonghan’s stare. You look down at your drink, small smile taking over your features. “Like what?”
“Happy. You look pretty when you’re happy.” Jeonghan mutters softly, eyes holding an emotion that is indecipherable to you.
But it’s easy to read for Chan as he stares at the two of you from across the café. He shakes his head in disappointment, knowing that Jeonghan’s going to have to tell you one day. Chan watches as Jeonghan reaches out and rests his hand over yours, a happy smile forming on his face when you make a joke.
i haven’t seen him this happy with another girl in a long time, Chan thinks to himself, taking one last sip of his boba. He walks over to the exit, throwing his cup in the trash. He takes one more glance at the two of you, now finding you excitedly telling Jeonghan a story of who knows what.
All Chan knows is that you’re happy, and Jeonghan’s happy, but it’s going to be taken away as soon as you find out the truth.

“Jeonghan, when are you going to end things with yn? It’s been over three months since you two became ‘official’, I’m pretty sure she’s already head over heels for you.” Minji asks from her couch. She blows on her newly painted nails, making sure they dry properly. Chan shoots the striped ball into the pocket, taking note of the way Jeonghan visibly stiffens after the question is asked.
“She’s not head over heels.” Jeonghan answers, nodding his head once Chan misses the next striped ball. He leans down, getting ready to hit a solid. “Are you sure that’s it? Or have you forgotten our fucking plan?”
Jeonghan pauses, turning his head to look at Minji, only to find her glaring at him. Chan lets out a small sigh, pulling out his phone to try and distract himself as the tension in the room rises. Jeonghan rolls his eyes, turning back towards the pool table.
“You’re supposed to make yn fall in love with you, and then break her heart so that Dohyun feels horrible. Did you forget that because you think she’s some good fuck?” Jeonghan slams the pool stick down on the table, actively startling Minji and Chan. “You know that yn hasn’t even mentioned Dohyun since I first started talking to her? He hasn’t tried to see her either, you know that? It makes me wonder why you even decided to target yn in the first place.” Jeonghan says, turning his head to see Minji’s reaction. He watches as her demeanor shifts slightly, suddenly appearing to look guilty, and he squints at her. Jeonghan pushes off the pool table and walks over to Minji so that he’s standing a few feet from her.
“And don’t you ever degrade yn to just being a good fuck again.” Minji blinks up at Jeonghan, not used to having his anger directed towards her. Her initial shock shortly turns into rage. Laughing, she stands up off the couch to stand her ground. “What a joke, you fucking fell for her didn’t you?”
Jeonghan turns away, clenching his fists as he stares out Minji’s window. Chan watches from the pool table, feeling wracked by nerves as he watches his two best friends argue for the first time ever.
“Yoon Jeonghan, the man at Seoul National University who was unattainable. The one who was called cold hearted because he’d break the hearts of people left and right, has developed feelings for the pawn in our game.” Minji sneers, now staring at Jeonghan with an amused look on her face. He finally turns and stares directly down into Minji’s eyes, feeling anger flood through him.
“And what about it?” Minji’s mouth drops open slightly, having not expected him to confess. Chan stares between the two of them, afraid of the tension rising in the room. “W-What?”
“I’m in love with yn. She’s witty, intelligent, funny, kind, beautiful; if you made a list of all the good traits in the ideal person then that’s yn’s description. I’m not going to play her like that, she’s no longer just a game. And I’m not going to be a pawn in your revenge plot anymore either.” Jeonghan states, before turning around to go and grab his phone. Minji reaches out and grabs his arm, but he doesn’t look back.
“You think she’s going to forgive you when she finds out?”
The room stays silent for a moment, and Minji thinks she’s won from the way Jeonghan’s staring at the floor. Her heartbeat picks up when Jeonghan rips his arm from her grasp, turning to glance at her.
“No, and I hope she won’t ever forgive me when she finds out. Yn deserves someone better than me. Someone who won’t blindly follow their friend and purposefully hurt a girl who didn’t do anything to be involved in this.” Jeonghan states, and Chan bites the inside of his cheek, looking down at the floor.
“I’m a horrible, selfish person for what I have done to yn, but I’m going to do at least one thing right and tell yn the truth, myself.” Jeonghan explains, before turning and walking towards the door, raising his hand up to grab the door handle.
“If you walk out that door we’re no longer friends, Jeonghan.” Minji threatens in one last weak attempt to get Jeonghan to stay, feeling afraid that she’s about to lose him. That she no longer has the control she once had over her best friend. Jeonghan stills for a moment, before grabbing the door handle and ripping the door open, shutting it directly behind him. The slam of the door echoes through the room, a sense of finality settling itself upon Minji and Chan.
“Fuck.”

You hum quietly as you tend to the orchids, finding the blue ones to be incredibly pretty on this sunny day. The sound of the door chime rings throughout the shop, and you turn your head to greet the incoming customer.
“Hi! Welcome to Bloom Bloo-”
“Yn?” Your eyes widen when you recognize your old friend, immediately breaking out into a smile as you stand up at your full height to wave at him.
“Dohyun! What are you doing here?” You ask as you walk over towards him, and he gives you a grin as he opens his arms and pulls you into his embrace. Your eyes widen slightly at the skinship, having briefly forgotten how Dohyun shows his love as you tentatively wrap your arms around him, patting his back.
“I came to order a burger and fries, actually.” Dohyun answers when he pulls away, and you squint at the man, pushing him with your hand as you walk over to the register, listening to him laugh that contagious laugh of his from behind you.
“Haha, funny.” You say, trying to fight back the smile that’s threatening to break out onto your face. Dohyun catches it though, and giggles to himself. “Based on the smile you’re fighting, I can see that you hold some truth behind that statement.”
You shake your head, turning back towards your friend and getting a good look at him. His brown hair is parted to the side, showing off his forehead and nice eyebrows. He’s wearing a brown hoodie with a black puffer jacket over it, and you purse your lips, wondering why it seems like he put in a bit more effort into his appearance.
“Are you checking me out, yn?” Dohyun asks with a teasing grin, and you roll your eyes. You open your mouth to respond, only to pause when you hear a familiar voice ring through the shop.
“You better be talking about a bouquet of flowers.” You and Dohyun look towards the entrance to see Jeonghan standing there, frown on his face. He squints when he locks eyes with Dohyun, and the brunette raises an eyebrow when he recognizes the man.
“Jeonghan?”
“Hannie, with how much you come into the shop, you should just apply for a job here.” You joke, watching as Jeonghan’s features immediately soften slightly when he looks over at you. He lets out a small smile, shaking his head at you.
“I wouldn’t be able to bring in as many customers as you, anyways.” Jeonghan tells you, walking over and patting your head over the counter. You grin, grabbing one of the daisy flower crowns you made in the morning and placing it over Jeonghan’s head. Dohyun glances between the two of you, and he finds himself squinting at Jeonghan when he remembers his reputation on campus.
“You two are dating?” Dohyun asks, and you nod your head.
“For a bit over four months now.” Jeonghan adds, feeling his heart thump against his chest as Dohyun stares at him with a hint of suspicion in his gaze. The brunette simply turns back towards you, and gives you a smile.
“I’m happy for you, yn. You’ve been single for as long as I can remem-” Dohyun sputters when you spray him with the spray bottle full of water, and Jeonghan bites back the laugh that almost escapes him. Dohyun wipes his eyes and shoots you a glare, making you giggle a bit.
“Yn! I have a date in an hour, don’t ruin my hair.” Dohyun whines, and you laugh, “Then don’t boast about how lonely I was!”
A frown forms on Jeonghan’s face as he watches you and Dohyun begin to discuss the numerous bouquet options he can choose from for his upcoming date. The memory of Minji saying that you were the one Dohyun was showing interest in plays in his mind, and he bites the inside of his cheek, wondering if that was even true.
“Take care of those, I made that bouquet this morning!” You say, breaking Jeonghan out of his thoughts as Dohyun carefully takes the arrangement of flowers from your grasp. He nods his head, “Careful is my middle name.”
“Yeah, yeah. Have fun on your date!” You tell Dohyun, and he smiles, nodding his head. It comes to Jeonghan’s surprise when Dohyun turns to him, gesturing towards the door.
“Can you get the door for me, man?” Jeonghan nods his head, walking over and pushing open the door for him. The brunette smiles, walking through the door, but stopping to quietly mutter,
“I know how your trio used to do things in high school, and I know that Minji was upset when I ended things. I only broke up with her because I learned of the type of people you guys are. This better not be one of your trio’s games, because yn doesn’t deserve that. And if it is, then end it now.”
Jeonghan stands frozen as Dohyun gives him one more smile and sends a wave towards you, before walking out the door. You tilt your head at your boyfriend, wondering why he looks so guilty as he stares down at the ground.
“Jeonghan? Are you okay?” You ask, seemingly breaking him out of his daze. Jeonghan looks back towards you, giving you a smile as he walks over. “Did Dohyun say something? He’s always been protective, even when we were younger.”
Jeonghan shakes his head at you, reaching out across the counter and taking a hold of your hand. You raise an eyebrow, watching as Jeonghan cups your hand within both of his.
“What’s on your mind, Hannie?”
“Are you free tomorrow?” Jeonghan asks instead, and you stare at him in silence for a moment. You let out a small giggle, shaking your head and reaching out with your free hand, patting the top of his head, the delicate petal of one of the daisies brushing against your wrist.
“Were you nervous about asking me on a date? That’s so cute, but yes. I should be free tomorrow.” Jeonghan gives you a smile, and you find that it doesn’t really reach his eyes as he stares at you.
“Great. I’ll meet you at the bus stop tomorrow, okay?” Jeonghan asks, and you nod your head, warmth flooding your face as you stare at your boyfriend. Jeonghan bites the inside of his cheek from the stars in your eyes, wondering how he’ll ever be able to tell you the truth. He lets go of your hand after pressing a soft kiss to the back of it, turning and walking towards the doors, but stopping to glance back at you.
“See you, pretty.” Jeonghan tells you, and you smile at the nickname.
“I’ll see you tomorrow, Jeonghan!” He grins, pushing open the glass doors and walking out of the shop. The smile on his face falls once he’s far from the flower shop, and he takes a deep inhale of the Summer air, the daisy flower crown resting over his head suddenly feeling heavy. Finding that it resembles the weight of his heart as he knows that everything’s about to be broken.
one day. i just want to spend one last day with yn.

You sit on the bench by the bus stop, waiting for Jeonghan to arrive so the two of you can go to the aquarium. You unlock your phone to see if there’s a new message from him, only to see no new notifications.
“I know the feeling.” You jump up, turning towards the voice to find a pretty girl standing beside you. Her brown hair falls in waves down her shoulders, and she’s wearing an off the shoulder floral top paired with a beige skirt. You tilt your head to the side, finding her rather familiar.
“Hi yn. I’m Minji, Jeonghan’s friend.” She introduces, and you have to stop yourself from letting out an ohhh because now you recognize her. “Oh, hi Minji.” You reach out and shake her hand, giving her a smile.
“Are you waiting for the bus?” You ask, and she shakes her head, letting out a small laugh. “I drove. In all honesty, I came to pick you up.”
You raise your eyebrows in surprise, having no clue as to where you’d even go since you haven’t met Minji before. She gives you a smile, “Jeonghan told me to come get you because he’s running a bit late due to Chan being silly, per usual. He said he’ll come pick you up at my house.”
“He did?”
“You don’t believe me?” You immediately raise your hands up to tell her you didn’t mean to imply that she’s a liar, but Minji stops you right away while giggling at your antics. “I was kidding yn, don’t worry. Now, do you want to come hangout at my house or do you want to wait here by the bus stop?”
You stare at her for a moment, before letting out a small smile. “I think there’s an obvious answer to that question.”

“Wow! Your house is so nice.” You state as you stare in awe at all the beautiful artworks put on display. Minji waves her hand at you, telling you not to flatter her so much. You follow her up to her room, still looking around with child-like fascination.
damn, this almost makes me feel bad. she’s kinda sweet. Minji thinks to herself as the two of you finally make it up to her room. She places her bag down by her bed, removing the earrings from her ears. You stand shyly by the door, unsure of where to sit, or if you’re even allowed to sit. Minji turns towards you with a grin on her face.
“You can sit over there yn.” She tells you, pointing over towards the small couch in the corner by her desk. You nod, walking over to go and sit down, only to pause once you see a corkboard laying on her desk.
“I’m going to use the restroom, be right back.” Minji announces, a smile on her face when she sees you staring at the board. She walks out of the room, pulling her phone out of her pocket to call Jeonghan.
“What?” Jeonghan answers as he heads towards the bus stop where you’re waiting. He lets out a soft smile down at the lavender daisies he bought on his way, planning to surprise you with them since they’re your favorite flower. He remembers the small box in his room, a gift he plans to give you after you guys get back from the aquarium. “Just wanted to let you know that you should probably turn around and head over to my house.”
Your hand slowly lifts up the board, tears filling your eyes.
“Why?” Jeonghan pauses when he doesn’t see you sitting at the bench the two of you agreed to meet at. He lowers the flowers once he realizes what Minji meant, cursing to himself and turning around.
“Have a nice run.” Minji says cheerfully, hanging up the phone and placing it into her pocket. She smiles, walking to the sink to splash water onto her face in an attempt to wash away the small feeling of regret.
You stare at the photos of you taken from your social media, gaze following the red line that lands on different notes with the places you work and hangout at. Your heart shatters as you read the instructions on what to do when Jeonghan meets each new step with you. Your eyes land on the very last note, and it takes everything in you to not crumple onto the floor.
break her heart.
The feeling of wanting to vomit builds up in your throat, the realization that you were just a pawn in their sick game slamming into you like a train. That you fucking fell for it, you fell for him. You drop the board, stepping away from it as if it’s cursed. You quickly leave the room, dashing down the steps and running out the door. Minji watches from upstairs, letting out a sigh once you slam the door shut.
The tears blur your vision as you run off her property, trying to get as far away as you can. You slam straight into a hard chest, stumbling backwards that their hands have to reach out and grasp your arms so that you don’t fall. You wipe away your tears with the back of your hands, opening your mouth to apologize, only to stop when you realize who helped you.
Jeonghan stares back at you, sweat dripping down his face from running, purple daisies on the ground beside him, now missing multiple petals. You rip your arms out of his grasp, feeling a sob bubble up in your chest as the two of you stare at each other in silence.
“Yn, I-”
“Don’t. Just. Stay away from me.” You state, attempting to walk around him, only for him to stop you.
“Yn, please. Let me explain. I can tell you everything, please just-”
“Explain what? That you used me for your revenge plot? That you strung me along for months when I had nothing to do with what happened between Dohyun and Minji? That you just think of me as some fucking joke?” Jeonghan shakes his head, grasping your arms to try and plead with you. The sob finally breaks out, and you reach up to cover your face. “God, no. Yn you’re not a joke, you could never be a joke. I never meant for it to get this far. It was all a plan at first but then I got to know you and I fell in l-”
“S-Save it. I don’t want to hear anymore lies.” You mutter, and Jeonghan’s eyes begin to water when you remove his hands from your arms. You stare at him, tears continuing to fall from your eyes as you do so, wondering how you let this happen.
how you let yourself fall for him.
“I-I just wanted one more day. One more day with you, and I was going to tell you everything.” Jeonghan chokes out, hands shaking by his sides as he waits for a response. After a moment of silence, he tentatively reaches up to try and rest his hand on your cheek, “Please, yn. Let me explain-”
“How come I have to get punished just because I love you?”
Jeonghan pauses, staring into your pained eyes as his hand slowly lowers back down to his side. The sparkle that he was so used to, now replaced with the glassiness from your tears. You wipe away the wetness on your cheeks, realizing you confessed that you love him for the first time.
how unfortunate.
With that, you turn around and walk away from him, not looking back. Jeonghan watches your figure shrink until you’re out of sight, and he drops to his knees, tears finally streaming down his face. He rests his face onto his arm, crying loudly as his heart completely shatters from what he ruined. While Minji watches from her gate, gulping down the feeling of guilt as she stares at her best friend experiencing heartbreak for the first time.

“I hope you’re eating well and taking care of yourself. I-” Jeonghan says into the phone as he stares up at his ceiling. Chan watches from the doorway, feeling sad for his friend. “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry.” Jeonghan mutters, ending the call before the voicemail can catch the sound of him crying. He places his phone beside him, covering his face with his hands to try and muffle his sobs.
It’s been three weeks since you found out the truth, and Jeonghan’s been calling you everyday since then. He’s refused to leave his room unless it’s to use the restroom or grab food, other than that, he rots in his bed all day, the feeling of regret and resentment towards himself flooding his veins.
That and soju, lots of soju.
“Hannie, do you want me to bring in the dinner I made?” Chan asks, and Jeonghan doesn’t answer, instead turning over in bed and covering his face with a pillow instead. “You need to eat.”
Jeonghan just curls up even more, closing his eyes as more tears escape. Chan lets out a small sigh, walking out to go and grab the food anyways. He lifts up the tray, carefully stepping back into Jeonghan’s room and placing it on his desk.
“It’s there if you need it.” Chan says before closing the door.
While you, you’ve also been laying in bed for the past three weeks. Currently you’re listening to the last voicemail Jeonghan left you, crying as you hear his voice shake towards the end when he apologizes. You turn over, clutching your pillow tightly against your chest as you sob. Your roommate looks at your closed door, concern written all over their features as they hear your loud cries.
You haven’t been to work as you called in sick. Your manager understands, having heard from your roommate that you’re not in the best mental state. All you’ve done is eat, sleep, and sit in the shower for hours at a time, just letting the water run over you.
While Jeonghan has hurt you deeply, you can’t help but miss him. You yearn to hear out his side, try and be understanding, try again, but then you remind yourself that you were just a game.
just a game.

“Hi, is yn home?” Your roommate points towards your room. “Be careful though, she hasn’t really left her room for the past month.”
Chan gives her an understanding nod, knowing that Jeonghan’s doing the same thing. He slips off his shoes, before walking over to your door and knocking softly. You turn your head, muttering for them to come in, expecting your roommate. Your eyes widen when the door opens and you recognize Chan, Jeonghan’s best friend. You sit up, clutching the pillow tightly.
“What are you doing here?” Chan tentatively reaches his hands out, handing you a bag. You raise an eyebrow, taking it from him and looking inside. You let out a breath when you see a jewelry box. You lift it out of the bag, slowly opening it and biting back another sob.
“He was going to give it to you the day you guys were supposed to go to the aquarium, as a way to tell you he loves you, and that he’s sorry.” Chan explains, and you stare at the way the light reflects against the daisy pendant of the necklace.
“I know you might not want to hear this at all, but I’ve never seen Jeonghan pine after a girl, let alone fall in love. Yet, I saw both of those things happen with you.” You slowly look up at Chan, who’s giving you a small, hopeful smile. “I know what he did was shitty, I tried to stop them from including you in the plan in general. I just, I’ve seen how you’ve changed him for the better. I know Jeonghan, and I know that he really regrets what he did. He wouldn’t be calling and texting you everyday if he didn’t. He doesn't even text me honestly.”
You look at the necklace, feeling sad, but somehow a bit better, more assured. You glance back up at Chan, giving him a nod. “Thank you Chan.”
He gives you a smile, “Of course. Anything for your guys’ happiness.”

It’s been a month and a half since everything happened, and you’re finally leaving your room. It’s not much in your eyes, but your roommate was ecstatic about it, even though it’s just a trip to the convenience store. It’s also quite literally two am, but they said, any outside air is good air! You trudge over in your grey sweats and oversized black sweater, lifting up your glasses to rub your eye with the back of your hand.
Once you’re at the convenience store, you head straight towards the ramyun, grabbing the eight pack and walking out of the aisle. You step over to the register, pulling out your card to pay for it. The chime of the door opening grabs your attention, and you tiredly look up, only to freeze when you lock eyes with Jeonghan.
He doesn’t look any better, bags prominent under his eyes, black t-shirt hanging loosely on his shoulders. However, you still see him as the most handsome guy you’ve ever seen. Shock is evident on his features as he stares at you, unsure of what to do. Jeonghan’s eyes trail down, seeing the daisy pendant glimmer back at him from the light. He opens his mouth to say something, only for you to turn back towards the cashier once they hand you the bag of ramyun and your receipt.
Jeonghan clenches his fist, walking over towards the aisle where the soju is. You let out a shaky sigh, turning your head to look at his retreating figure, debating on following after him. After a moment, you shake your head, choosing to walk out of the store sadly.
Jeonghan stares at the box of soju for a moment after hearing the bells, signalling you left the store. He bites the inside of his cheek, having an internal battle with himself.
What if she doesn’t even wanna talk to me? She hasn’t answered my calls or texts for the last month and a half, that means she hates me.
I have no chance, she’ll never forgive me.
She shouldn’t forgive me for what I did...
But I miss her.
Fuck.
Jeonghan immediately turns around and runs towards the door, forcefully shoving it open and feeling the cool night air hit him. Only to stop when he sees you waiting right there, sitting on the steps, your bag of ramyun placed beside you. You slowly turn your head, looking up at Jeonghan.
“Yn.”
“Jeonghan.”
The two of you stare in silence again, and you break it by patting the empty space beside you.
“I don’t think anyone will come to the shop in a while, it’s literally two am.” You say, and Jeonghan lets out a breathless chuckle. He takes another step before sitting down beside you, and that’s when you both fall into another silence. Except this time it’s more comforting, being with each other after yearning for so long but knowing it was best to stay away.
“You look like shit.” You state, effectively breaking the silence, and Jeonghan glances at you, a grin gracing his features. He turns away, shaking his head and looking up towards the stars. “I know.”
You follow suit, staring up at the stars as well. A small smile appears on your face after a moment, and you turn your head to look at Jeonghan, only to realize he’s already staring at you. He lets out a content sigh, finding the stars slowly making their way back into your eyes. You turn away once you feel the warmth rush up to your cheeks, choosing to look at the parked car in front of the two of you. He looks back up towards the stars, trying to find which one shines the brightest.
Jeonghan comes to the conclusion that you shine brighter than the billions of stars in the sky as he does so.
“I’m sorry.” Jeonghan says after a moment, the sound of resentment present in his voice, and you let out a breath.
“I know.”
The two of you sit in silence, staring at your surroundings. A tear slips past your eye, and you wipe it away with your sweater paw. You wrap your arms around your knees, hugging them close to your chest as you stare at the empty road.
“I missed you, Jeonghan.” Jeonghan harshly bites the inside of his cheek, tears falling past his eyes as he continues to stare up at the night sky.
“I missed you too, yn.”
You let out a sigh after a moment, before leaning over and resting your head on Jeonghan’s shoulder. He freezes slightly, at the contact, but relaxes. After a moment, he lays his head over yours, and that’s when you both know you’ll be okay.
we’ll be okay.

for cc : favorite soft boys from kdramas? leads or supporting or both haha.
I had to think about this for a bit, hence why I didn't answer last night when I was part zombie, lol.
Here are my top 12 recommendations:
Angel's Last Mission: Kim Dan <3 I watched this last last year and I'm still in love with Myungsoo's character so much!! He was the first character to come to my mind when I read this post. I couldn't recommend watching this drama enough. It's amazing, I'm still in withdrawals from it. And it's even inspired my own angel au (though, mine will be quite different)
Flower Boy Next Door: I've watched this drama so many times! Basically anything Yoon Shi Yoon touches is gold, but the supportive ways of his character Enrique is totally swoon-worthy and will make you melt for him.
Because This Is My First Life: Namsee is a formidable male lead here. Lee Minki did an excellent job in creating a really believeable character who's introverted, yet will go the mile to make sure the woman he loves is okay.
Still 17: I think Yang Sejong's character Gong Woojin is amazing. Sure he's suffered a great deal and has a very closed-off persona throughout, but he's so caring for all those around him, and he looks out for everyone in his own quiet ways. 100% fell in love with him and wanted my own Woojin in my life, haha.
Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo: Nam Joohyuk in this was the cutest puppy like boyfriend ever. How could you not fall for Joonhyung?! Ugh. I still smile every time I think of him in this.
Run On: Siwan's character is adorably naïve yet a wonderful and refreshing main. I love how he develops throughout, yet doesn't lose that kindness for the people around him and supports them endlessly. Bless him so much.
Where Stars Land: This is one of my absolute favourite dramas, and whilst Jehoon's character gets REALLY angsty and admittedly, is still very juvenile from his past experiences... he genuinely cares for people, even if people have really messed up his world. Ugh, I love him and I want to rewatch it for the 43895784239th time lol.
Extraordinary You: Am I a Baek Kyung fan over Haru? YES. Did I think Baek Kyung was jipped despite having the BEST character growth in this world? YES. Still will I put Haru on this list for being the softest sweetheart known to comic book character creations? YES.
Just Between Lovers: this is my favourite Junho drama for a reason. If you put aside the angst, and the trauma (considering they're main themes of this story, it's a little hard to) you can see a guy who's really out here doing his best for the people he cares about. Seriously, this drama makes me so emotional.
Hotel Del Luna: some might say Chansung wasn't soft all the time, but he's steadfast, and really calms down Manwol a great deal, so I love him. Also, major props for Lee Dohyun's character in this - I loved him even more.
When the Camellia Blooms: I admit, I didn't finish this drama. I just... yeah we won't get into my problems with it here... but I'm sure Haneul's character and the word "soft" go together.
Mystic Pop-Up Bar: Sungjae's character is a blessing. In fact, the trio leading this show, together are a blessing. I cried and laughed so much. But looking at Kang Bae as a character... he's so soft and adorable and wants good things for everyone *sighs happily*
I bet there's more I could think of... but after sitting here staring at my kdrama list, I think I better stop here... hahhaha.
