Picnics

Summer picnics were never really Neji's thing, but for Karin, he'd make the exception. The weather was nice for it too, clear skies and sunshine. Plus, it would also be an excuse for their 3 kids to go out and have some fun.

They weren't alone in this endeavor either: Lee and Sakura of course wanted to tag along, and they brought their 4 kids. And even Sasuke and Ino joined in with their 3 children too. Over all this was going to be a big summer picnic for the families.

The women each made a bunch of different bentos and other goodies for the day. The children were all super eager to meet up and play with one another while the adults chatted. It was also there, that Karin announced her pregnancy for their 4th child. Sakura and Ino were excited, and Lee gave his congratulations to Neji.

As the sun started to go down, it was time to pack up. All the adults said their goodbye and collected their children to go home. Karin and Neji's trio of boys couldn't stop talking about how much fun they had with the others. It was safe to say their picnic was a huge success and they couldn't wait to do it again soon.

MultiSaku Family stuff (p. 1)

NaruSaku: BFFs to Lovers to Family. Sakura is half a Tsundere but we all know she can be romantic. Naruto is the child Sakura is looking after along with Shinachiku, Hanami and Arashi. They get scolded by Sakura a lot (especially Hanami). They go to festivals together and even have a movie night and it's always Arashi's turn to choose the movie. Always.

SasuSaku: we all know how they started but meeeh. What's in the past stays in the past. They both support Sarada and train her so she'll be able to be the next hokage. Sakura is the boss in the house, no one move, talk, breath or live without her permission. They also have boy twins: Sachihiro and Seichihiro (first one's source is google, the second one is just me being useless). Siblings fight are pretty bad, they mostly happen because Sasuke only has one hand and all three kids want to hold it. Sakura holds it in the end tho.

SaiSaku: looking back at it now, Sai is proud of naming his son Saku. He had grown up to be a short-tempered guy with one hell of a strength. He also took his dad's art skills. Family moments are usually Sai teasing Sakura with Saku being happy with his parents or Sai teaching Saku different art styles. They both come to Sakura's office and bring her lunch and she's always happy to see them.

LeeSaku: A scary daughter. Sakura and lee's taijutsu. Adding Sakura's temper and Lee's love for competitions,Sakura's inner and monstrous strength and Lee's heart. This child could beat the daylights out of a whole army. That's Ruka Lee for you (ft. Random names generator). Family moments will be either running around konoha's outerwalls or chilling and talking about youth.

Nejisaku: shit that child is going to be the star of his/her class. Mostly his. He's a well behaved kid with a big mind and great strategies. Neji is going to act strict but he cares deeply about his only child. Sakura is the proud mother. Her son is at the to of his class soooo. If you need tips about ANYTHING go to this family right away.

Wanted to make this longer but I got lazy and ran out of ideas. It's kinda bad but I'm still pretty proud of it. If you have suggestions write them in the commentsss.

ok so realistically, or not realistically, thoughts on Boruto? Thoughts on the whole family thing, Naruto being the hokage, would you change anything? Thoughts on other parings? Like, narusaku, sasuhina, sasusaku, narhina, gaanaru, etc. I’m having a brain riot and need opinions😭

boruto:

i feel like it wasnt really necessary to have bio kids be the lead of the anime especially if they were just going to rehash dynamics that already happened but het. based on the newest chapter, i have to say i wish they would stop hetconning things. naruto being hokage is whatever since im sure its what the audience was waiting for but in the manga they dont just have the older gen ninja just get trapped or killed, theyre off doing their own thing or dealing with subplots or whatever. i think the recent ninja storm game handles this way better than the manga and anime do. i think you can tell kishi isnt interested in this based on how lazy a lot of the storytelling choices are. he almost had something interesting going on with kawaki but then it just kinda went off the rails. so what would i change? i would just scrap the whole thing and approach it completely differently. im not even sure i would use kids given they had a real opportunity to make it more adult, kinda like the way atla transitioned into lok.

other pairings:

i pretty much hate the majority of ships ive come across, not gonna lie. i mean i dont judge anyone for coming up with them, thats their right but i just dont get the logic behind them. particularly certain ships like sasuhina would require both of us to be completely different people for it to work, but ultimately if people want to explore dynamics that way i dont care. if i look at certain ships as people are without their fundamental traits changing then...

narusaku - this is toxic because sakura doesnt respect naruto at all. she never will because shes always seen him as a nuisance. their relationship would be her "settling" for him given his newfound status as a hero and the fame and attention she would get from that, but behind closed doors she'd probably belittle him a lot. naruto would put up with it because he doesnt have a backbone /hj.

naruhina - i mean i think hinata's a nice enough person but they have no chemistry and she also just wants/needs things from naruto so its not healthy for him again. naruto should be with someone who can protect him, and who can fight for him (like me).

gaanaru - .........................begrudgingly gaara does fit the condition i mentioned above but i feel that politically they would be a bit at odds and gaara cant fully understand naruto. but yes as a consolation ship, this is probably one of the better ones.

this is where i say honestly, painfully, if you ask me, neji probably wouldve been best for naruto besides myself. he can understand naruto's worldview, he can protect naruto, he has a personality that complements naruto. the only thing is that neji still fundamentally sees hinata as a priority so i dont know how that would play out.

i cant comment on every single ship so i'll try and just go through ones i would fix and how, and then some "crackships" i have.

leesaku (or whatever you guys call it) - lee's probably the only one sakura disrespected and then ended up respecting. his personality is such that he deals with conflict extremely well and doesnt internalize things, so he would be able to respond to sakura's shallowness and pettiness. theyre both competitive. i feel that sakura would also learn from him how to take pride in achievements, failure, and growth and build her self-esteem properly. i dont like inosaku because regardless of Lesbian Rights or whatever, sakura has consistently treated ino like shit for no reason and its not even in a "um we're awkward way" its in a "ino risks her life for sakura because shes a good person and sakura curses her out" kind of thing. lesbians should be in healthy relationships.

tenkuro - theyre both meant to be experts in a certain field that complement each other. theyre both in the middle of two extreme personalities. kankuro is a bit less of a douchebag by the time he gets older. i wouldve paired this instead of shikatema if we had to have a crosscountry couple. shikatema is gross.

hinakiba - kiba's probably the only one who treated hinata with respect their entire lives and without wanting anything in return. like weirdly enough hes the only guy i can think of except maybe choji that didnt talk shit about a woman (whether it was deserved or not) so i feel like instantly that kind of makes him a good match for someone as meek as her. hes supportive without being passive and passionate without really being aggressive. i dont know what hinata does for him because i dont really know what hinata does for anyone, but i think kiba just wants A Woman so she fits the bill.

sasudeath - if i cant have naruto give me death.

inosai is probably the only ship i actually like because they compliment each other well. again i dont care about gay/straight whatever but if ino wants to date a hot guy, let her date one. she chose one that she gets along with easily, respects her (not just respects her but he loves her proudly), and tempers her personality well. theyre pretty cute in boruto. i would keep choji and karui only because cho cho is an angel.

Got this little au in my head that if sakura married rock lee they would've built one of the strongest clans around and became famous for their strength, and that little dojo lee had in that one filler would've became an actual established dojo with many students that would come and learn taijutsu at (accommodated for both shinobis and civilians) and I think that would've been like. Fuckin sick 🍻

With their scary strength combined it is only natural they would become the strongest family/clan

I know we also have that awesome Shippuden dojo fight ending where we have Lee all dressed up for it - I would LOVE to see Sakura in a dojo outfit too. She would look so good. 🤩

1, 14 and 19!

The first fandom I ever developed a ship for was actually Naruto. I was in a few fandoms like Prince of Tennis and Ghost in the Shell, but for some reason Naruto resonated with me the most lol

14. In Naruto, it was a tie between NejiTen and LeeSaku. Upon first view of Neji and Tenten I was like THEM. But then, I saw how Lee went out of his way to protect Sakura in the Forest of Death the way he did and how much of a dick Sasuke was to Sakura is was like Lee is here and ready to love you girl! Sasuke isn't ready yet for your love!!!

19. I can usually be convinced with good fan art and fanficiton... but I'd have to say NejiHina is my top no-no ship. I find their familial ties a bit of a road block for me their fathers are twins, which genetically they are half siblings/cousins. Neji did have a lot of growth as a character, but I saw his acts of service to Hinata being a way to make up for being such an asshole to her for a situation he had very limited information about until he got clapped by Naruto and Hiashi spoke to him. I think Neji felt guilty and wanted to make it up to Hinata to fill that role of protector, not really a romantic kind of love. An during the war arch, he does show that he is filling that older brother vibe with Hinata and she is absolutely delighted that he has stopped hating her and the main branch. Also, Hinata was basically written for Naruto specifically, they were always going to be end game. In Naruto SD/Rock Lee and pals, it was hard for me to watch; Neji was a bit out of character and I understand that it was supposed to be a comedic rendering to break up the seriousness of the war...but it also wasn't cannon either, it just followed the timeline. Neji's love for Hinata was overly played and a bit cringey to what was already established for his cannon character; especially in pre-shippuuden Neji tries to support Hinata in going to see Naruto before he leaves for training for a few years. To me *holds up hands in defense* that's familial love, not really a romantic thing.

InoSasu- absolutely not. LeeTen- I used to like this idea, but Tenten treats Lee like crap as a gennin according to the flashbacks, and she is written like the babysitter for Lee/"mom" friend for Lee and Gai in the games and anime. They give big bestie, sibling energy to me. KibaHina- also a ship I considered, but Kiba teases Hinata too much like a brother.I have a love-hate relationship with SasuSaku; hear me out. Sakura deserved better writing, she deserved better character development, and she deserved a bigger apology from Sasuke. This girl busted her ass to love this man for her whole life and he treats her like basura the majority of the anime. Yes he does show hints of caring for her, but when I read the soft novels, it was implied that Sasuke only got with her because she was persistent with him. I love that Sakura followed her heart and was dead set on Sasuke, but I hate that she tolerated that disrespect for so long. Sakura is good for Sasuke to teach him how to love and she is his light, but I just hated how it was written that she was so smitten by him it became her whole personality! Sakura is such a great character with a lot of growth potential but she was used a ploy for Sasuke.

Listen a dumb Naruto AU/Boruto AU

A lot stays the same except Obito and Neji survive the war and a few changes after that.

First Obito goes to jail for like a year and after that is put under house arrest and stays with Kakashi. They also get married sometime later after Kaakshi legalized same sex marriage and they had the first same sex marriage in Konoha. Obito takes Kakashis last name but keeps wearing the Uchiha crest.

Next change Neji and Naruto get together before the last happens. They are happy and Hinata supports them completely. (She may get together with someone else) The last still happens but instead of being focus on Naruto and Hinata it’s focused on Neji, Hinata, Hanabi and their relationships. Also I think it would be cool if Neji and Hinata destroyed the eye thingy (I forgot what it’s called).

Next one. Sasuke gets together with Suigetsu sometime before the last. Suigetsu travels with Sasuke, even though Sasuke asked him not to. Suigetsu just doesn’t listen to his boyfriend.

And lastly Sakura and Lee get together. They are a power couple.

Now to the Boruto part.

I don’t feel like making new child characters so I’m just going to use the OG ones.

First Boruto and Himawari. They are Neji and Narutos kids. Hinata offered to be the surrogate. Himawari, instead of blue/purplelish hair has brown hair like Neji.

Sarada is Sasuke and Suigetsus daughter. They wanted a kid and first asked Karin to be the surrogate but while she would have loved to help them she said she was terrified of pregnancy. When they came back to the leaf and Sakura found out she talked with Lee and offered Sasuke and Suigetsu to be the surrogate.

While Sakura was pregnant Lee found Metal and the two adopted him. (I think Metal Lee is adopted in canon too)

Back to Sasuke and Suigetsu. They raised Sarada on the road for a few years. When she’s the age to start academy they decided to spent more time in the village which results with them being there a lot but when they have to leave for sometime, they try to keep it to a short amount of time, Sarada normally stays with Sakura and Lee.

After they find out Mitsuki is Orochimarus son they adopt him. They now have a daughter and a son.

The rest is pretty much the same.

Ino actually was interested in sai right away, she didn't think his beaviour was weird, she didn't think his skin was weird, she just accepted and liked him. hell yea

Of course, we have her saving him from her own mind and then he asked her out because likeeeeeee yeah? I would ask her out too good for sai

I love love love the scen in the Sakura novel when he opens the door to Ino and is only in a towel and doesnt understand why she is embarrassed by that. God i love them.

They are the best parents in their respective age group. They deeply love and support inojin which is so cute and they love each other. I cant believe we got a scene with Sai lying in Ino's lap like we are so blessed.

Sai deserves love. Ino deserves support post war. They can deal with it together, be there for each other. Sai can learn a lot about expression from her, Ino can help him on his way to becoming more like the self he wants to be, not the one he was told to be.

I would do LeeHIna since I love it so much but you asked for LeeSaku so for now (also I ship every age appropriate hinata ship as long as she is happy im happy)

I just adore the dynamic of sunshine and shy person. Like, she is so drawn back and quiet, but he just speaks up for her instead and is sort of like "look my wife" because he doesn't mind? peak

He saw her when nobody saw her. A thing that always hurts me with hinata is that she'S so overlooked, even by her own family, but naruto never did that, not a single moment.

She see's him too. Long before others and the village itself. She admires his kindness from their first meeting

I will die mad that in the Boruto arc in which Naruto gets kidnapped we didnt get to see Hinata fight and defend him and almost die?????We only hear about it?!?! Becuase??!?! either way, that!

Well, it's finally time I get this thing finished.

In an effort to get word out about the fic fundraising campaign for Gazan families' fundraisers, I've decided that the best thing to do to spread the word is to... well, update a fic.

i have so many fics planned 😭😭😭 it's horrifying at this point. but!!!! as far as long fics go i have two for after i finished OL&W

1) My original work Star Forged that i plan to rewrite the 30 chapters i have (and finish it) and put them up on ao3!! here's the short synopsis (also pinging @elenorie bc she's been waiting for this one LOL):

Hala grew up in the dark and refuses to go back. Keyara and Cegon were raised on a secluded island and one selfish act cost them their family. The three meet by chance and are thrown together as the threat of Dark Demons rise in the North. As feelings grow, secrets uncovered, and hidden history is learned, the stakes rise to two options; life or death.

2) a kibasaku fic!!! based off of the real story of Martha and Waitstill Sharp, who were heros in WW2 and helped save countless Jewish children and lives from the nazis by making them passports and smuggling them across the border.

it would be set in a modern-ish nartverse where Saku is a Dr (scandalous for this time) and Kiba is a lawyer (who is much better at ground work) sent to Mist to smuggle lower caste people out as the Bloody Mist genocide decends. super action packed, lots of high stakes, and earned trust. im very excited about this one!!!

as for short fics, here are some of my pairings i plan to write (more) for: saisaku, kisasaku, yamasaku, kakasaku, leesaku, tobisaku, minasaku, shisaku. those are from the top of my head :)))

LeeSaku is great specifically if you frame it from Sakuras perspective. We still have no idea why Sakura "loves" Sasuke. We know she thinks hes cool, talented and handsome but is that enough to warrant marrying someone? Obviously not because their relationship is a trainwreck.

During part 1, Sakura started to respect Lee a lot more as she saw his true colors. She realized that hes devoted, compassionate, hardworking and loyal. She came to respect him because she knew what it's like to be born into a weak clan and have nothing but determination and hard work make you stronger. He defended her during the Chunin exams to a point where he was pretty seriously injured. After his fight with Gaara, she visited him in hospital and brought him flowers. It felt like something really nice was set up there even if it was very brief. If it had continued to develop, they'd be a happy and healthy couple.

Basically hes the opposite of Sasuke and suits Sakura a lot more. If they got married, hed be endlessly devoted to her and their kids. Hed be a ray of sunshine in Sakuras life and hed do everything he can to make sure their kids are happy. Plus could you imagine how strong their kids would be? Lee's speed and taijustu capabilities + Sakuras strength and heal? The whole family would be a total powerhouse.

like i said that’s all fine and nice but i still don’t like it... i mean it’s good, i understand now why other people ship them but it’s just not my cup of tea and i still prefer to see them in a platonic way

Metal Lee and Rock Lee appreciation post  (things that i notice and things that i want to see)

because i'm so done that all in the anime and i'm saying All (including the writers) put them aside. And i'm gonna put some things that i think straight up. 

first i wanna start with Metal’s skills. I MEAN LOOK AT THIS!! Metal has more strength in one hand that Boruto has making the Boruto stream! that's what we can notice in the episode where he goes mad. and i’m just not gonna put him as the strongest child in the generation just for ONE and only ONE child that is Sarada, that come to thing on it, i hope that her strength is for training by herself and not for “she's the daughter of sakura” i swear i almost scream when in the anime they say so, Sarada deserves becoming stronger by her own hand equal as she opened the sharingan by her own.

another point of Metal is this! those were not just one kunai, he stopped eight ninja star on bare hand. that shows that he have the reflex, the speed and the coordination of a shinobi. Jus look at his face of “please bitch”. For this only scene that i saw i thought that Lee had a rivalry with sarada on the academy. Come to think of it...

i think that a lot of people forget but i don’t! LEE IS LEVELS ABOVE THE OTHER STUDENTS (that´s obvious) but i mean even from the other protagonist characters like Inojin, Chouchou, Sumire, Denki, Wasabi, for sometime of Shikadai (that this comes in) and i'm gonna include the sassy blondie here and the rest of the class, for some exceptions, as Mitsuki and competing with Sarada (again amazing me that this two aren’t rivals). But it appears that the writers forget always this: METAL HAS BEEN TRAINING FOR HIS WHOLE LIFE and yet he lost in 1 minute in the chunin exams at the teams fight and shikadai trains just WEEKS before the exams and gets to the finales and also put in another level his dad’s jutsu?!? WHAT?! 

I mean what was the fricking rush?! recycling the whole movie? They just lost a great opportunity, i mean it was a fight of Metal Lee, son of ROCK FRICKING LEE, and Shinki, son of SABAKU NO FUCKING GAARA, who i don´t know if you all know, but in their Chunnin Exams they had the most epic fight . ( I remember when i was in primary school and  i enter the Naruto anime when the Chunnnin individual fights were on the middle, and Gaara and Rock Lee fight on CN was starting, and when Lee take out his weights that was a moment that it is still print on my memory) AND NOBODY TALKS ABOUT THAT neither the public and the shinobis that were there! Didn’t Gaara mentioned to Shinki the boy he broke the arm and leg and almost ruins his ninja future? the one who forgive him and became one of his first friends?

the point that i like from this moments was when in boruto´s movie, shinki shocked face when Metal kick the hell out of his puppet and then again in the anime, in the 1 minute of the fight that we saw, Metal was the last standing and even with his knuckles bleeding he said that he's just starting, that was pretty great, but all ends when shinki took the flag without ending the fight (i just hope that he didn't think Metal is a waste of time). I think that lee could have done a great job in the finales but he´s team, that’s my net point.

What the hell with Metal´s team?! the writers just put extra weight on Metal´s shoulders, and i meant it, yes, Iwabe is a “good fighter” but he's a hot head: he has disobeyed orders 

(bonus that in that Metal´s ended up being hurt. EXTRA points to Metal that he ACTUALLY reacts in danger)

and in just one messed up in a mission he wants to give up in something that he has being searching for a long time (becoming a ninja) (EXTRA points to Lee that convince him of becoming literally a traitor). You can’t just put characters THAT DIDN'T EXIST IN THE MANGA with a principal a character that just make of that character just another extra, and even making them the worst team (at least in the team of Sumire the three actually do something).  And yes METAL HAS ANXIETY but in the serious moments he's always in place of act like a real shinobi and we´re seen him controlling it (on his own way). 

i would like to put a parenthesis here to talk about something that it's bothering me a lot. The way of all the other kids and the writers themselves use Metal´s anxiety as a joke or for making fail. That for me is not even nearly funny, i had anxiety, and thinking of someone reminding me every time they can something that i´m fighting against don´t make me laugh. I remember the episode we’re girls and boys were competing and in not once but TWO times someone use his anxiety to make an advantage. That was the worst. 

A theory that i have is that Metal´s has eyebacks for insomnia, not as deep as Gaara’s but he had they.

TURNING BACK TO THE POINT i was hoping to see Metal´s team from the movie were the other kids are using the iconic green spandex of YOUTH, because that made me thing that Metal was the leader and also that Rock Lee have become a Famous sensei. that let me to two other points.

1) When kakashi goes and interview all the class, in MY OPINION, Lee was the only boy who was ensure on the ninja’s path and really shows it. Yeah Boruto said that he wanted to become a shinobi better than his father, but then happens all of the cheating soo...  Lee for the contrary says that he wants to become strong as his dad, Metal knows what his that it's capable and know the effort that he needs to make it true and he’s already doin it. Kakashi had to put everyone on the same level for the exam’s objective. But from all i tell you, Metal is the one who truly is making a great ninja path: he shows strength, ability, skills, goals of being better and helping his team to being better (even if his team sucks), he shows determination and a passion of what Gai, his father and the generation before his had made. he’s the legacy that the Gai, Tenten, Neji and Tenten’s team left, he is just starting clearly, but it shows a bright path of youth.

2) Lee has a Doje that it's not specialise in just shinobis, it's for everyone, taijutsu is for everyone and lee has accomplished his goal of leading people for the path, making merch ang hopefully buying Tenten´s merch.

but something that i don't forgive is the situation with Metal´s mother, i mean WTFH?! what’s that stupid thing of “we haven't designed her yet”? You mean you design characters that didn't need to exist, but you don’t make the wife of one of the 12 of Konoha?! (ME QUIERES VER LA CARA DE ESTUPIDA?) you just needed to said like  “Oh yeah, she died” or “She´s an important character that would appear later” or what if “Oh Metal is adopted and his other father is Gaara” it such an insult for a character that has now the same if not more of the power that made Madara proclaims that “Gai was the strongest man” in the world AND YOU DIDN´T DESIGNED HIM A WIFE?! i’m so done.

the things that i want to see (that i'm not saying that IT HAS TO BE DONE, but that i would enjoy seeing)

Lee and Sakura being Taijutsu friends (my leesaku side would never die)

Sarada and Metal being friends for the reason before

Metal lee being called sama for the students of his father

Metal having a big house but he doesn't  care about that

Metal talking with Tenten (VERY IMPORTANT)

That konoha make a cone memorial for the people lost in the last war and uzumakis and Hyuga family meeting in neji´s memorial with Gai, Rock lee, tenten and Metal.

shinki and his team becoming friends (or other thing cof cof) with metal

Metal in the beach being the handsome tough boy that he is.

Metal meeting Gaara (isweartogodthatiwillcry)

Mistress Lee appears (but if it ended up being Gaara that would be better)

More Gai and kakashi moment (with Metal involved sounds good to)

epic moment where Rock lee and Sakura fight back to back (I'M CAME IN LIKE A WRECKING BALL)

iwabe and Denki trying to follow Metal’s daily routine

Araya being helped for Metal lee with his panic problems (i don’t believe in coincidence)

  In conclusion Metal is not the one who has to be on scene every time, but he deserves equal respect and presence as the other children and being more involved with the whole group, at the end, he’s all that team Gai have left for the next generation in meaning of representation.
