Behold, that Padparascha x Leggy Steven Universe ship as a Garnet! Give her a name please because I’m not a geologist.

Leggy Fun Facts

Leggy visits Lapis and Peridot every week for tea.

She rides a big wheel around town.

She is a lightweight when it comes to alcohol.

The local orphans are fond of Leggy because she visits  and donated supplies to them.

She burned down an old building while training with  Army.

Doc and Eyeball had a tracking chip on Leggy because Leggy was getting lost all of the time.

Leggy's nickname for Padparadscha is Paddy because she kept on forgetting her real name.

Vidalia sold a painting of Leggy for ten thousand dollars.

She loves waffles and putting different food in the batter.

She loves line dancing.

for people who dont know whats a rareship: is a ship of characters that dont talk to much or they dont know each other, but they are from the same universe or same history.

So i will be sharing my favorites from Steven Universe ^^

Pearl x Volleyball ( pink pearl )

I just think they look really cute, also i loved that they had a whole episode in Steven Universe future where they were together and also fused!! ( wich it has a really cool design at least for me ) I like to call this ship " Strawberry & Cream " because it reminds me of them xD and also because they are so sweet ^^ Im sure that Volleyball wants to be a ballerina or something and Pearl helps her with anything she can.

Idk, i just see Volleyball like the artist of the relationship -w-

Padparadscha x Leggy ( ruby )

( drawing by slimgems ) Is like, they look perfect together, and there was a comic where they tell new orders to Leggy, and she get really nervous, and then Padparadscha tell her: " my dear friend, you´re about to get overwhelmed by instructions! may I relay them to you for clarification? "

and i really loved that!! Padparadscha is really helpfull when is about feelings, and Leggy seems to get really nervous or doesnt really know what is happening, and i think Padparadscha really helped her a lot of times. There´s also some drawings of how could be they´re fusion and they look so awesome!!

i thought they could look good together, even also with Leggy, i could try to make a fan fusion of them 3 one day -w- I thought a one-shot where they asign Carnelian as one of the protectors of Padparadscha, and with the time they started to get along and having fun, even trying to fuse ( i also made a fan fusion of them 2 ;3 i will post it later )

Gem Placements bro

idk if anyone has talked about this or watched this guys videos but apparently all gem placements have different meanings and honestly after watching the videos I hate seeing people’s ocs with their gem not correlating to their personality (I know I’m picky)

the videos are by toonsnooper on YouTube if you want better/more explanations I’m just giving a summary and my thoughts on oc idea and stuff

Forehead placement - gems with forehead placements tend to be more tactical, technical very smart. They can tend to be a bit of perfectionists as well and a desire to be in charge. They’re very logical gems. Examples of this would be Pearl, Peridot, and White Diamond. (This one is self explanatory a bit)

Nose placement - okay obviously this one belongs to Jasper. Jasper charges head first into battle, and toonsnooper refers to Jasper as hard-nosed, which means realistic, determined, and tough-minded which Jasper is all of. She walks with her nose in the air, so a nose gem placement could refer to confidence and toughness.

Chest placement - Several gems in Steven universe have their gem on their chest. Amethyst, Bismuth, Blue Diamond, Yellow Diamond, Spinel, and others are all seen to have their gems placed on their chest. Said in video, these gems wear their heart on the outside. These gems tend to be more emotional and may even act irrationally out of emotional outbursts. They believe strongly and feel very deeply. (If I was a gem I would have my gem placed on my chest :3)

Stomach placement - Pink Diamond, Steven, Volleyball (pink pearl), and others have gems on their tummys. These kinds of gems tend to be underestimated and maybe even pushed to the side. They approach situations with a more empathetic outlook and try to understand.

Back placement - Lapis Lazuli is one of the only gems with her gem on her back. Because she can’t see her gem (mostly worded by toonsnooper) her own identity is hidden from her and she’d have to twist in uncomfortable ways to even see or reach her gem. The fact that her gem is on her back makes her so vulnerable to threats, forcing her to be on guard and constantly weary and defensive.

Arm and Leg placement - Gems placed on the arms tend to represent brute strength— several quartz soldiers are shown with this— and gems placed on the legs may represent a more wondering gem like leggy (the ruby) since she’s always confused and never knows where her legs are taking her. I think though, leg placements can also make up for an adventurous and even confident gem, who knows where their legs are taking them.

Palm placement - I’m talking about Garnet specifically and once again this is mostly worded by toonsnooper. Gems placed on the palms show a sense of self identity, and he refers to Ruby and sapphire as two parallels in different universes which is why they pair so well as garnet. The reason being self identity is because normally when characters figure out who they are they look at their palms. When garnet does that, she KNOWS who she is and she’s proud of that.

Malachite - I’m just adding this bc I like the way he talks about this fusion. Jasper and Lapis aren’t too well together because Jasper’s gem is on her nose, always ready to charge forward, but with Lapis’s gem on her back, she recoils, wanting to stay behind. They don’t match in any way and with Jasper’s nose trying to push forward, Lapis’s back wants to well, stay back.

The AU, where Steven and Kars become best buds: the comic

Please remember that I'm a human, not a David Productions employee, so I won't be able to crank out a 100+ pics per day

The premise:

Steven floats through space in a bubble, after fighting the rubies, with eyeball becoming his hitchiker. When the two float into an asteroid field, they crash into a strangely humanoid one: Kars, who after some brief confusion, learns Steven isn't too different from him. Both are made of rock, have shapeshifting abilities, etc. Eventually (that is, after dealing with the murderous little Eyeball) Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl find them via the Roaming Eye, and Steven doesn't hesitate to introduce his new friend. The Gems don't understand, neither do they have the time to understand either, as it turns out Leggy Ruby was hiding on the ship this whole time. Amidst the confusion, Leggy summons her gem weapon for the first time, a comically large war-scythe, with which she cuts the Roaming eye in half by accident. The Gems fall to Earth, while Steven, Kars and Leggy remain stranded in space. But thanks to Kars' superhuman abilities, they manage to return to Earth too (not Leggy though).

From there, Steven will try his best to show Kars the best things the modern world has to offer, while Kars will have to face the consequences of his past actions, and the fact that making it to the top of the food chain may not be as valuable as it were 5000 years ago.

The story will have the best of both worlds: the insane, over-the-top fights from JJBA, and the singing, crying and singing-while-crying of SU. Get ready for Stands vs. Gems! Vampires vs. Fusions! Feng Shui vs. Onion! And so much more!

Characters who I think deserve more screentime. This very much independent of our friends. They have 0 influence when it comes to this post.

I don't have any particular reason as to why I wish they got more attention aside from wanting them learn, grow, and bond.

I think Jasper especially deserved a redemption arc since she was such a major character for a majority of the show and had many chances to be better but we never got to see that even in future. She doesn't have to be subservient to Steven in order to become a better person, hell she doesn't even have to like earth life. But I still believe we were robbed of a Jasper who could who could have learned to see herself as more than just 'the perfect solider' and have a new purpose beyond the war. If that makes any sense?

I will not tolerate any hate towards these characters nor will I accept any discourse regarding these characters/my opinions.
