The week passed by in a surprising slow trudge. Leo had hesitantly avoided Roy since his threats in the bedroom, choosing to keep his door shut and himself stuck inside. 

There wasn’t anything to do, and he found himself feeling the horrible drag of boredom overpower him. When he’d been with the other mercenaries, time seemed to blur and warp and stretch out all at the same time, the only thing occupying his thoughts being the need to simply survive. Now that there was such a stark contrast, Leo didn’t know what to do with himself. 

It gave his injuries a good time to properly recover. Joey was constantly checking up on the bandages and wrappings, making sure there wasn’t any trouble. Most had started to heal over, including the stitches on his side, but he’d been informed to keep an eye on that one. 

He often woke up sore, but luckily, not in any sort of excruciating pain. Leo didn’t think he had it in him to go through something like that again. 

He ate by himself in his room. 

He’d usually choose quick, easy meals he could whip up himself in his condition, and scurry off back to his room. With the window open and the windowsill big enough for him to sit on, he could lean his head against the glass and watch the scenery outside peacefully. His eyes stared at the treeline and vast forest surrounding them. It looked like it stretched for miles, all the way to the horizon. He wondered how long it would take him to walk to civilisation through it. Maybe hours. Days? 

He was itching to leave. Itching to get out of here. Was it really worth it to just make a run for it? With five, no, now four trained mercenaries, he doubted he would make it very far. He also highly doubted Roy was keeping his keys at the same place as before. Even if he were to make it to the car, switch it on and start driving off, Leo didn’t really know how to drive a car very well. With other cars in the drive, belonging to them, they’d catch up to him in no time. 

Leo tugged Roy’s jacket tighter around him, sinking into a pit of despair. He tugged it up to his chin, gnawing gently at his bottom lip. His condition was better than it had been in a while. He knew if he had enough adrenaline, he could keep himself going for a long while. The blood boiling spark of it when he’d attempted to escape the first time was a rush he’d never felt before; he highly doubted his healing wounds would cause a problem. 

His eyes landed on the violin against the wall with a soft huff. Roy had said he could play when he was healthy enough to stand around and cook, but his stomach almost tightened anxiously at the thought of waiting a second longer. He slowly uncurled himself from the windowsill, sliding off. He unlatched the case and popped it open, his mind set when his eyes instantly landed on the beautiful violin inside. He carefully pried it out, cleaned the bow, made sure everything was in proper working order, and stood facing the window. He could at least have a nice view. He always liked playing while facing his window where he used to live. There was something so simple about getting lost in the scenery as well.

He inhaled deeply, setting the violin under his chin. The position came naturally to him, fingers positioned on the strings as he mentally decided what should be the first thing he play after so long. Something he knew relatively well without sheet music. Maybe Bach? 

His heart thrummed in anticipation. Chaconne from Partita No. 2 in D Minor. He decided that would satisfy his building itch. 

Leo didn’t hold back. The moment the familiar swell of the chord hit his ears, his body seemed to melt into a different plain. His fingers danced automatically along the strings as he moved through the song, following the memory of the sheet music in his mind. The bow jerked smoothly across the strings in an almost oxymoronic way, the sound of his playing filling the entire room. He felt his head spinning, the thoughts bubbling into nothing in his mind, leaving his body to play as if it was on autopilot. 

Leo felt like he had barely even taken a breath the entire way through, becoming lost in the sorrowful music, before he came to an end. His eyes fluttered open, having not even realised they were closed, and slowly lowered the violin from under his chin. His heart was pounding in his chest. Excitement coursed through his veins like fire, and for the first time in a while, Leo actually smiled. 

He instantly moved to play another song.

It was getting dark by the time he’d exhausted himself. His fingers were sore, the weakened calluses not used to such vigorous playing after so long. He gently set the violin back in the case, not wanting to risk ruining the fine hairs on the bow, fearing it wouldn’t be so easy to get a replacement. 

He moved over to the windowsill, setting the spoon in the bowl, the metallic clatter filled the now quiet space. 

He popped a small painkiller into his mouth, and downed his glass of water. He carefully carried the pots down the hallway, his eyes catching onto one of the doors of the rooms being wide open. He snuck a subtle glance as he passed, noting that it had been cleared out. 

He knew these were guest rooms; more accurately, he knew this was where the other mercenaries had been sleeping. It made his brows pinch in curiosity and confusion, but the prospect of somebody leaving made his heart flutter in hope. He hoped it was Bran. Maybe if one of them was leaving, then so were the rest. It would mean that Roy probably wasn’t taking contracts any time soon, and that meant he wouldn’t have to be alone with them again. 

His socked feet crept silently down the stairs, muffled against the wooden floorboard. His eyes instinctively flickered across the house, diligently looking out for anybody. The atmosphere was still grim, even after all this time. Usually, the mercenaries would, bar Roy, be having a drink, laughing and joking with each other. Now it seemed there wasn’t enough energy for that. 

He retreated into the kitchen, gently setting his bowl, spoon and empty glass into the sink. 

He turned the tap on with a soft flick, filling it with water, before putting it on the draining board. He wasn’t really in the mood to wash and put them away right now. With the darkening sky, he felt like he could do with a good nap. 

Exiting the kitchen, Leo almost screeched to a halt when he saw Bran standing in the corridor at the front entrance. He noticed him at the same time, eyes narrowing into a nasty glare. His eyes flickered down to the bandage around his palm, and he swallowed uneasily. It wasn’t his fault Roy had done that. He despised the fact that the big man seemed to take his anger out on him, since clearly, for whatever reason, he couldn’t do it to Roy.

His sharp voice sliced through the air. 

“What the fuck are you looking at?” 

Leo blinked. He felt a spark of something in his belly for a split second. But it was enough for him to open his mouth. 

“Nothing special.” 

Maybe it was because he was tired. Maybe it was because he was feeling far too at ease from playing for the entire afternoon. Or maybe it was the twisted notion inside of him that told him Roy would hurt Bran again if he touched him. That he was protected by a man that wouldn’t hesitate to shoot somebody for him. The thoughts made his heart thunder in his chest. 

He still regretted it when he saw the anger rumble like lightning in Bran’s beady eyes. His lips curved into a bitter, twisted grin. 

“Oh, you think you can be cocky now, don’t you?” He growled, shaking his head fiercely. He took a few rumbling steps forwards, and Leo felt his spine stiffen in an ounce of fear. His head tilted back slightly as he grew closer, feet rooted into the ground. He opened his mouth to say something, but Bran’s meaty hand leapt forward, and he suddenly felt a constricting pressure on his wrist. 

He let out a pained hiss, morphing into a choked gasp when it was twisted painfully in his grasp. The man jerked him forward, but Leo found himself trying to twist away, hand digging into his wrist with sharp nails. 

“Let go of me!” He hissed under his breath, wince breaking out along his face when the man’s hand struck the side of his cheek with dizzying force. The numb throbbing shocked him momentarily, enough that he couldn’t retain his balance when he was dragged forward. He felt himself being smashed into the wall, a cry of pain flying from his lips. Bran was twisting his arm uncomfortably behind his back, sending agonising pains up his shoulder blades. 

His skull swam with nausea. 

All the memories almost exploded to the surface of his mind, and he was overtaken by this animalistic panic. He couldn’t have cared less what he looked like, squirming and wriggling as he fought against Bran’s bruising hold. 

“Screw you!” He screamed, teeth grinding together and tears burning his eyes. “Get off!” 

Bran laughed sharply, his voice like poison in his ear. “Look at you with a fuckin’ backbone. Are you waiting for Roy to come down and save you again, huh?” 

He twisted his arm further, and Leo screamed. 

“Huh? I’m gonna break your fuckin’ arm before that can happen,” he snarled. “You got Rafi killed, you pathetic little shit.” 

Bran grasped his shoulder, violently spinning him around before he could get his footing. His hand clamped around his throat, slamming him back into the wall with a force that had his ribs throbbing. Agonising pain erupted under his bruising hand, the sore skin flaring. Leo panicked, his arms flailing out. He hit something hard on one of the cabinets in the hallway, and he instantly went to snatch it. 

It came hurtling at the side of Bran’s skull, and the ceramic vase smashed upon impact at the adrenaline fueled strength he’d managed to put behind it. The big man was thrown off centre from the blinding pain, staggering away from him. Leo’s socks slipped on the floorboards as he stumbled backwards, back smacking against the front door. 

He saw a pool of blood running from the side of Bran’s face, the remains of the vase scattered uselessly along the ground. His heart rate picked up in a second, and Leo tore the front door open. 

He threw it shut behind him with a loud slam, his feet taking him across the front yard, and past all of the parked cars. Adrenaline surged through his blood. His only thoughts were telling him to get out of here, his cells leaping at the chance for escape. 

He didn’t look back. Not for a second. Not even when he heard a deep, rage fuelled shout of his name from the house. He veered off the dirt track, plunging into the forest instead, and he didn’t stop for even a moment, the haunting echoes of Chaconne playing in his mind. There was no going back now. Leo even considered stopping, planting himself down and letting Roy catch up to him, begging for forgiveness. 

But if he was caught, then he feared the mercenary might really do something to his father, just like he’d threatened. Leo couldn’t let that happen.

All Leo's are good Leo's, but I'm biased toward '03 Leo because ... well, idk lol. 03 was the first series I watched and he was a fav then, and when I started to watch them all again he slipped right back into Fav spot lol. I like how he tries to be honorable and he worries about his brothers and their saftey, and he can also be a little silly he's relaxed enough and I love that about him. (He's also so whumpable)

Drew him in the Fast Forward armor because I think they look cool in it and hadn't drawn it yet (also tried to do it more in the original art style of the show, but its probably little more of a blend lol)

Common characteristics for each characters' iteration (when they act differently). And how I connect them, personality-wise.

I seem to think about how I tie the every-tmnt-iteration (past and present) characters in a way that each one won't be OOC (out of character) from another. A justification theories and all.

I did for Leo.

Now I'll do for R and a bit for the M-guy.

In 2003 R was pissy and had a foggy head when pushed too much (agitated, purposefully angered, or neglected might be). M's favorite pastime was to come and bother him, on purpose. Making him angry, knowingly.

You know for M it might be nice for him to have as much of a hyper friend like him as not to disturb and bother his bros. He tries to be positive and pass his time by trolling and being kind of mean to his bros. Esp to Raph when he (emotionaly) wears out quickly.

R has a thick shell like he doesn't really wanna allow anyone unless they know they are genuinelynice. He also likes to pride by achievements (fights perhaps) also has an ego but is defensive for his ego. While Mikey is on the way and playing with it. You know like bothering a tame dragon. On purpose. Like a purposeful d.

R would be glad to have smb to be secure and tame with (not nessessarily a love interest). Like Peter Parker when he goes to Mary Jane (her character majorly lacking, she sucks, clearly writers had no idea with her, who she iswhat her life was that kind of stuff). He goes to her after a very rough day, beatings, struggles, villains, flying etc. But R is stuck with himself. Almost everyone is emotionally stunted, D doesn't have to deal with psychological stuff, he has a hobby, M is a jerk and L seems to like to order around (maybe he doesn't like, depends. When he cant help himself that's when). He might need to meet and talk to a pyichatrist that would be nice. (Imagine the setting)

He is stuck with himself. He and his emotions.

And the bravery. He needs to remind himself to get a hold of himself. Maybe. He doesn't like ... maybe he thinks he has no personality, a monster-freak. He is passionate and ready to fight anyone that gets in the way of their group, but sadly M uses that care and push in order to run against, offender attempts against him. M is a jerk but he wants to stay positive (could be insecure too, why not) and that could mean he can do it on account of his bros. Could be gluttonous and take away kept food without warning.

Everybody is emotionally detached and hurt, and has a "?"sign about many things about themsleves (L is identity, R is his feels that he pretends he doesn'thave and D is focusing on his hobbies and tries to ignore pesky "?"s: depression and clingy thoughts maybe he is a faithful person(there's smth that keeps him gentle is it the TV series? Is it the faith in himself that he can change (life, make it more appealing and comfortable) and play as a benefit to their closed ones?)).

And M needs to have fun(be positive) in a mean way. Like a mosquito.

Edit: my HC for why Rise Mikey is tame. The 3 Brothers have been alright that M is in a position of "being taken care of, fave child and loved" from the 3. While '03 M was super bothersome because 4 were basically equal. So he was less about "being fave and more loved child" part and "parents being more attentive to him and his emotional needs", rather than he is one of tmnt and even viewed more of a slacker and a bothersome bro, rather than someone doing smth worthy and useful for the day. In Rise they came to the consensus and understanding about M. He also needs to be careful because now he has 3 more "parents", who have their own vision for how he needs to be brought up. Maybe beaten up too, a bit abused 🤔 🤷

M is self-serving, while D is detached (has passions and interests that make him feel better accomplishing).

Aries is very big hearted but sometimes they don't act like it because they can be tough on those they care about but always to help them become better and they never mean true harm even when they try to be rude it usually just ends up funny or sassy to me (Aries mars too) 😭🤍

Taurus Venus - ooo LUV ❤ I am so biased lol as a Taurus moon because you guys are always super safe for me, like even the toxic ones can be super lovable ugh 😭 besides the toxic ones... The females are so kind and have some strong values/morals. Taurus Venus wants stable relationship with give and take and they want to have their partner to themselves and can become very jealous easily but don't like to admit it and they can be so shmexy about it like "I wanna leave a bite mark so everyone knows you are mine" ugh as scorpio Venus I eat that shiz up 😭💫💫

Gemini Venus - most likely to be besties before lovers, totally the most positive and funny in the room and so smart about random things. It's so much fun to hang out with these natives and they have a great sense of who they are and will take nothing less in relationships than what they deserve. They can have a lot of problems in the dating aspect because they are more comfortable with friends rather than being intimate and giving themselves fully to someone. Geminis and Gemini venuses can be quite open with their friends and people around them but with their loved ones closest to them it can be kind of hard for me to understand them because they can be a bit detached but it's for safety which I get and honestly I think they keep secrets just as good as ppl say Scorpios do, when they want to.

Cancer Venus - they get a lot of their values from their mothers. They have a lot of kind energy but sometimes they can be covert narcissists if aspecting asteroid narcissus or in the 12th house, because 12th house can make one have a hard time with boundaries in life. Cancer Venus is very kindhearted and want to care for their friends. However, they often seem great in the beginning but soon emotions become the forefront of the relationship often I see these placements being very sensitive people in close relationships and for me I just don't like that, sometimes it makes me feel like I have to walk on eggshells and I cannot speak my mind, but that is not Always the case for everyone and every cancer Venus if they have other good placements like earth placements to balance out emotions and grounded logic they can be very kindhearted and loyal and stable. In bed cancer Venus would want to get closer to the person and to create a nurturing environment definitely a cuddle buddy, the men might very comforting to their partner and protective which is just so heartwarming. Virgo Venus - most I have known were either really short or really tall no in between... They usually wear glasses if Venus/mercury is afflicted. Virgo Venus are very caring and they are very much the type to treat you as a patient whom they care about the health of same with 6th house Venus. Very concerned about the health of their loved ones and they want to take good care of them. Virgo Venus men in bed is always careful of your safety and wants to make sure you are comfortable and wants to know what you like/dislike and does so in a very attractive way. Libra Venus - these natives I have not seen in a good light and I have only met few, but I know that there are some lovely Libras out there somewhere - the ones I have known enjoy gossiping, mental stimulation, and often have a lot of conventional beauty. These people in some cases may be the type to run from arguments when less mature... In relationships they are really kind and compliment their loved ones a lot. Often they have pretty good skincare routines or they know a lot about make-up things, from my experience.

Scorpio Venus - these natives are super strong & powerful physically and/or emotionally. These natives in relationships are very loyal and passionate, might have issues with obsession in relationships and tend to like bad boys who are mysterious and this is usually what causes they're pain arc, and they end up staying by themselves especially if in the 12th house, so that they can rebuild and be more independent and learn about who they are. Scorpio Venus in bed are very maddening 🙈and intense, they may want connection and closeness with their partner sooner in the relationship rather than later. Scorpio Venus with friends are really loyal and sometimes may hold onto relationships a bit longer than necessary because they are comfortable even if it may be toxic... 👀

Sagittarius Venus - These natives are really fun, charismatic, and can often be jokesters. They do oftentimes like to party and have a wanderlust that cannot be beat. Either way, say venusians do in many cases think pretty highly of themselves though in my experience. Honestly they are, in my humble opinion, pretty fun and cool ppl. ❤️‍🔥

Capricorn Venus - often pretty serious but still fun and loyal ppl. They have a lot of sass sometimes in females and are girl bosses or they hold more traditional beliefs as males. The females I know are super strong and beautiful. As friends, they are giving with their time and energy with the relationships that they really care about. These natives are very hardworking or the opposite if afflicted. I don't know much about these natives because I know very few but I can say that they can be clingy when young, alao they often try to act mature sooner in turn some end up in relationships at a younger age, from what I have seen (male and female.)

Aquarius Venus - oh boy these natives are very different but they also are quite familiar to me, they have a need for a lot of mental stimulation and often they have like 2 really close ppl who they don't ghost but they often ghost ppl randomly and then come back like a few months later. Aqua Venus love to be sociable and have a lot of connections same with Venus 11th house, they are super fun and often come from a religious background but change their beliefs as they get older and have strong morals and values. They get really clingy with the ppl they love sometimes when younger and they can have rejection which causes them to be more detached and they end up being a bit flighty from one group to another, but overall when mature they are very interesting and smart ppl.

Pisces Venus - they're really kind and have a lot of love to give to the world, and are very artsy and have the ability to be very intelligent emotionally. Often Pisces Venus ppl are the kind of lover to paint for you or draw for you as a gift and love to just be freely very creative with their partners. Pisces Venus truly need to be protected they are very kind souls as long as they are kept away from the harmful things of the world in their homes. If they are not kept safe they may go down a bad path and those kinds of Pisces end up having insatiable loneliness which creates a perfect mentality for addiction. I hate,especially in the pjo fandom, when people cut characters down to 1 trait. Sometimes it's a trait that isn't even one they have!

Like Percy, Will and Leo being seen as dumb erks me to no end. Especially Leo.

I know they're incorrect quotes but I saw one where they used the "7x7" "stuff she knows!" audio with leo and I'm just-

He knew collage level math at 8!!! What you mean he wouldn't know 7x7.

He could probably recite 100+ digits of pi. He built a whole ship!!

Same with Percy and Will. Like Percy is not dumb, he's just someone who thinks on his feet and isn't book smart like Annabeth.

Will runs an infirmary and cabin by himself by 13. He immediately finds a way to check on Nico's condition and chides him for risking his health. He's working with no weapon as a field medic, he has to be smart enough to avoid attacks.

Nico isn't just the emo sad kid. He is quick to make friends with those people tend to be wary of. He's just getting use to people again after being on his own for so long.

Jason isn't just some boring/ lesser version of Percy. He has a detailed past and motives even without most of his memories.

Michael isn't just attitude and starting fights. The only fellow camper he actually fights with is Clarisse and he's pretty chill for the rest of the book other then just being sassy sometimes. He's usually just matching energy.

Stolls aren't all stupid either, they were 12-13 when they became hcs of the largest cabin at a camp. A cabin, mind you, that was recently ran by a 19-almost 20 year old. They're poster children for younger siblings suddenly forced to mature.

Maybe it's just me and my love for psychoanalyizing characters, but really like most people forget how 3 dimensional these characters are.

Do not get me started on characters like Drew and Octavian or how many of y'all forget Annabeth(and every demigod other than frank) also is dyslexic and not just the ones the fandom deems as "dumb".

Watched Batman vs the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles again (because I can) and like. I honestly think it might be my favorite iteration of the turtles.

It's like this perfect combo of dark/serious and absolute hilariousness

And it manages to develop their characters so much despite the movie not even being 90minutes long and half of it is focused on Batman

Charles lounging on the sofa and Max snuggled back into him, head against Charles's chest and Charles stroking his hair as Max plays some geography game on his phone and maxplains it to a very amused charles

Max is the little spoon i don't make the rules

Leo loves Jimmy and Sassy, only one of the cats loves Leo (but they have a treuce when it comes to nights cos they all wanna sleep on the bed with the humans)

They can't really shower together because Charles likes a very warm shower and Max claims he feels like he is being boiled

They still sometimes sit in the bathroom while the other showers when they didn't finish their very (not) important conversation yet

When Max isn't wearing red bull gear, he likes to wear Charles's clothes

They have a long running Mario kart championship between the two of them

I feel like Max would initiate a lot of cuddles and kisses but Charles is the one to deepen the kiss

Just ggrrrr max maxplaining away about something and Charles curls those ringed fingers around Max's chin and drags him into a sloppy kiss

Charles puts up a pic of the two of them somewhere and it inspires Max, who then puts pics of them together everywhere around the apartment

Charles secretly drinks the red bull max always has in stock

There are 2 sim set ups side by side so they can play together (max still does sim racing much more than Charles tho)

Max dozes off when Charles is playing piano and while Charles mock complains about max thinking it's boring, he is happy Max feels safe

On that note Charles teaching Max some piano, sitting behind him on the tiny bench and guiding his hands while kissing his neck and cheeks👀👀👀

Max learns French and Charles loves his little accent

Charles struggles more with Dutch but puts in the effort

Max hoards blankets in his sleep but Charles will happily get them back and just cuddle closer

Max sitting on the kitchen counter while Charles makes eggs (they both suck at cooking)

More pjo things that I’ve thought about. More or less things/ behaviours they only have towards you.

Percy would hate going back to an empty cabin, so he just drags you along with him instead.

He doesn’t like how void of life and laughter it is that sometimes he’d sneak himself into your cabin to join you if he couldn’t wait until the next day to see you.

Percy just hates being alone with his thoughts and stuff that he’s more then often doing anything in his power to not be on his own for longer then a hour, it typically never ends well and so he just tries to fill time by doing whatever he could with you in order to have his mind fixated on the new memories, and not the ones he’s still not ready to confront just yet.

Thoughts such as whether Luke was right (he was)

So yeah impromptu sleepovers at cabin 3 are a thing you do.

The gods ask far too much out of him, so when he has time with you, all he wants to do is either nothing at all or mundane things that reminded him that he was someone outside of being a demigod. So baking foods and dying them blue was a favoured pass time for you both before it quickly dissolved into a fight that ends with a really cute kiss.

You guys are sickeningly sweet to everyone but they can’t look away either because if they want to know what a healthy relationship looked like, they’d just look at you and Percy as he’s splashing you with water, meanwhile you can’t do shit because he can’t get wet unless he will himself to. You call him a cheater for this but find that you can’t stay mad at your water boy for very long when he’s giving you sea puppy dog eyes and a cute pout.

He’s even attempted to make you something out of the seashells he’s found amongst other things he’s found at the bottom of the lake, with some help of course, and would beam brightly when he sees that you’ve kept them in good use afterwards that he didn’t mind if a shell or two fell off because as long as you were using what he gifted you Percy didn’t care.

With Percy to be loved is to be a comforting thought, a guiding light in the bleaker moments and a tether to one’s own humanity.

Leo utilises his talents to make something for you that you end up having scattered across your bedside table.

He’s the kind to say ‘you want to kiss me so bad’ but the moment you do give him a kiss, whether it’s his lip, cheek, forehead or even his nose, he’s silent as a mouse and is looking at you as though he was seeing you for the first time.

This dude is a living furnace and a sassy bastard, so if you’ve got a lot to get off of your chest please let this man be the first to know and he’s more then willing to cradle you in his arms as you both chat shit on those that you don’t like.

Leo doesn’t even need to hear the whole story to know whose side he’s on because it’s yours and only yours! He’s in your corner no matter what, hell he’d even support your wrongdoings if you wanted him to and needles to say he’s the man who boosts your self confidence more than anyone else. Without a shadow of a doubt.

Also by the end of the rants your more then likely to be fast asleep as this man runs hotter then most and Leo will shamelessly admire you as you slept against him before feeling left out and joining you in your dreams. He’s a sweetheart and wherever you went, Leo will always follow.

With Leo to be loved is to be seen, thought about and cherished as though you were a treasure only found once in a lifetime.

Nico would tolerate you more than others.

He keeps to himself but he can be often found within your company as though he were your second shadow.

He’s weary of the people who’d come your way, but that’s mainly due to the fact that he’s been through so much and had much taken away from him unfairly, he’s naturally going to want to keep a tight grasp on what he still has while he could.

So needless to say he forms somewhat an attachment to you that Chiron and Mr D considered borderline worrisome considering the hod whom Nico was the forbidden child of. Yet they knew that there wasn’t much that can be done to undo what had already been done.

So when your on quests, Nico is more then likely to follow afterwards if he can get away with it.

If he can’t then he’s most likely to stay near your cabin -the only thing that he had of you- and waits for you to come back on your bed, the longer your gone the more likely you’ll find him fast asleep in your bed, making you smile at how sweet he could be underneath his hardened persona.

You knew the sweet boy Nico use to be was still in there, and he knew it too, so don’t be surprised when he comes back from travelling through the shadows to bring you something that would make you feel a little less shittier. He acts like it doesn’t matter but he just wants you to be okay and doesn’t like the idea of being in able to help you when you’ve been nothing but accommodating to him and his needs after everything.

With Nico to be loved is to be at peace with the silence and welcome it, for words tends to loose meaning when overused to the point it losses meaning. For nothing every proclamation of love has to be said aloud, when it can be said in a whisper also.

Luke is overly more affectionate to you compared to the rest of camp and it shows.

There’s an arm being tossed over your shoulder here, and a nudge against your side with his elbow here, with a sprinkle of his head resting against your shoulder for added effect.

It was as if it came natural to the son of Hermes to always be touching you somehow, as though he couldn’t go a minute without having a hand on you to guide you away from other campers when he wanted to show you something he was keen you’d like.

While sitting at tables that weren’t your own was a camp rule not to be broken, Luke would either save you a seat at his table or even joins you at yours on the odd occasion, much to the curiosity of the rest of camp.

So you knew for certain this was going to be talked about for a good while as he only smiles mischievously at those who wanted to know what was going through his mind when doing such a thing, all despite knowing that he’ll end up with extra chores to do because of it.

He’s very intuitive towards you and poetically knows you better then you know yourself on most days, so it’s not surprising when he’s taking you out of a situation that you find stressful and somewhere less crowded for you both, only to find that he’s set up a lovely little picnic for you as well as you both overlooked the lake in comfortable silence as you just enjoy the others company.

With Luke to be loved is to be known deeper then any ocean, revered with respect and to be valued more then surface level.

Poor baby had a rough first week in his new home (pro tip: cats and moving box debris don't mix well!), but he's already feeling much better after some treatment. Such a brave boy who purred through the whole examination despite feeling under the weather!

PS: His dad @/alex_albon gets extra points for being so attentive and calm during an emergency situation - exactly what we love to see! Always nice when pet parents take such good care of their fur babies 🏆

Today I have the most amazing girlfriend, a beautiful family (including a dog who actually exists!), and somehow @/yourinstagram still hasn't banned me from her clinic 😅❤️ Best decision I ever made, even if my cats supposedly had everything from fever to existential crisis

do you agree that donnie and april are (platonic) soulmates? yes or no?

Platonically, it’s hard for me to say that she’s not soulmates with all of the turtles because I mean look at them:

They all love her so much and she compliments all of their personalities and quirks while still being her own adrenaline junky, sassy, and headstrong self. She’s funny like Leo to the point where she’s dropping one liners and puns in the middle of battle (and upset when Leo gives that part of himself up in Insane in the Mama Train), she’s got Raph ability keep the boys in line (at least sort of lol) while having his quick to leap into action and never give up attitude, and she’s charismatic, bubbly, and encourages being emotionally open like Mikey.

However, I also believe it’s no coincidence that her and Donnie have complimentary color schemes. I think they work so well together because in a way I think Donnie is the most “human”. He wants to go to school/college. He appears to want to fit in somewhere in the human world the most out of his brothers. April is a bit of an outcast herself and doesn’t really appear to have many friends before the turtles show up. They sort of meet each other in the middle of their crazy worlds.
