why is hardison fist bumping his “best friend” about how hot his girlfriend is ?? why is eliot grabbing hardison by the back of neck, pulling him in with the most intense stare ever, and then doing the verbal praise equivalent of making out with him ??? eliot is an obviously traumatized self reliant prickly bastard, and yet he decides to throw away his crutches and completely rely on the other two for support ???

god take me now. leverage writers had absolutely zero business drenching this episode with all this polyamorous energy in the year of our lord 2012– hell gay marriage wasn’t even federally legal yet. they knew exactly what the fuck they were doing and i am kissing them on the mouth for it.

Do you get hate on fics? no! I’ve gotten some weird comments of people trying to like nudge me in one direction story/character wise but I pretend I do not see it and frankly it makes me want to do the opposite of that

Do you write smut? If so, what kind? i really only feel motivated for it if it makes sense within the greater story I’m trying to tell. my work is really heavily based in character dynamics so it definitely does feel like the right move at times, but I generally don’t like to stay there too long and don’t tend to write with a ton of detail. i tried to write a pwp once and it ended up 10k+ words with a plot.

Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written no but during our leverage rewatch the cursed idea of the person of interest team getting all the leverage team’s fake identities as numbers while they’re trying to con finch was dreamt up. and i think someone should write it.

Have you ever co-written a fic before? WAY back in like 2013 I collaborated with someone on a House of Anubis fic in FFN dms that never saw the light of day hahahaha. i'd love to do it for real.

What's your all time favorite ship? It’s Root/Shaw and it’s not even close!

What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? I have about 30k written of a Buffy post-series fic/Angel s5 rewrite that I’m absolutely infatuated with but it’s sooooo biting off more than I can chew. 

What are your writing strengths? Dialogue literally just dialogue baby!

What are your writing weaknesses? can i say long covid lmao cause long covid lmao. kicking my ass. jokes aside my current weakness is being exhausted by html code, and the middle point of stories.

Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? i am not fluent enough in anything to trust myself to do so lmao

okay but are we ever going to talk about how in the rundown job parker, parker is the one to basically profess wedding vows

not hardison, the softie who has been head over heels in love with the other two since day one. who pack bonds and never lets go.

not eliot (although his declaration comes later), who underneath all that hard exterior has a soft heart. a man who will lay down his life for the ones he loves.

the girl who was lost and alone, broken, without any real family when the show started. who took a long time to fully trust anybody. who took years to feel comfortable enough for a relationship

yet here she is, in the middle of a possible biowarfare attack, professing what are basically wedding vows to eliot

and it’s not just her she’s talking about either. “for better or worse, we change together.” we. her, hardison and eliot. they change together. because they are a unit, a trio- three people bound by some wordless connection that is so strong that it’s implied that whatever they do, for better or worse, they do it together

There were many many awesome OT3 moments in the Rundown Job, but my favorite were probably how Parker kisses Hardison, and then turns to Eliot who mentally also sends her a kiss

and then Eliot throwing away his cane to be supported by Hardison instead. And then Parker also helps

Alright so I'm watching this episode the second time today because the first wasn't enough

Highlights:

 "I never get tired of that" AND THE SECRET FISTBUMP between Eliot and Hardison because guess who else doesn't get tired of that?

"for better or worse"

"hold on" - "exactly" - "no I mean, hold on!"

"you scared?" - "damn right" - "I'm not" and everything that follows in this scene

"kiss for luck?" - "who needs luck"

Eliot's little hint of a smile when he holds Hardison steady while Parker disarms the bomb

Eliots burst of violent joy when Hardison's hacking skills save the other guys from the ambush: Imagine how many times he had to let people die because he couldn't get a warning to them. And now the smartest guy he knows saved them

that one look between Parker and Eliot on the train. Because they're the guys who know what it is that has to be done. They're the ones in the cave on the mountain who can make the decision that has to be made in order to save them all

But omg YES! I'd love if 911 did that thing that Leverage did where like... basically the guys all have a guy's night and the girls all have a girl's night and they both have misadventures that are entirely separate from each other but intersect at the randomest of times!

At one point Bobby tries to join Athena and her gang because "your adventure is a lot more interesting than mine" and she straight up tells him to skedaddle 😂😂😂
