Levi’s design was inspired by a red leopard guppy! As mentioned on Aurelie’s post, there are many different variations of guppy, but all of them are generally considered amiable, flexible, and quick to learn. I reckon this version of Levi would be just the type of merman to be fascinated with the mysteries of the world above and collect the strange and interesting things that might fall overboard off their ships...even though, yeah, he has some trouble actually staying “afloat” when he’s near the surface. 😅

au 002 : in an alternate universe we find the city of vilestown, home to the powerpunk girls. made up of salt, vinegar, and everything nasty, the powerpunk girls terrorize their hometown, and occasionally  the world. gone is bubbles utonium, and in her place we find brat plutonium. just as cute as her townsville counterpart, do not let her looks or plushie collection deceive you. not only does she live up to her name, but brat surpasses it with an evil, chaotic energy to rival that of townsville’s rowdyruff boys. ⌜powerpunk⌟.

au 002 : specific to interactions with other bubbles, because duplicates are fun and the multiverse gets that. ⌜multiverse⌟.

verse 002 : fandomless

arc 001 : essentially an excuse to have a verse without bubbles’s powers. born and raised in new york city, bubbles buffy moved to sunny los angeles post graduation. she makes money as a youtuber, and enjoys the freedom that comes with the job. in addition to her online presence, she is slowly working towards a degree in marine biology, as well as the arts, more specifically mixed media. ⌜la baby⌟.

arc 001 : set during the events of descendants 3. unlike the royals of the united states of auradon, bubbles and her sisters attended a school of a different sort. sky high. outside the jurisdiction of auradon, the school of tomorrow’s superheroes helps prepare its students for a life of fighting crime and trading quips with future villainous foes. ⌜sky’s the limit⌟.

arc 002 : set after descendants 3, bubbles takes it upon herself to help those of the isle acclimate to life in auradon. she also volunteers for isle clean up and villain rehabilitation whenever she can. ⌜break this down⌟.

arc 001 : one of few fae to escape the fate of malivore, bubbles buffy is a banshee. how did she manage this? she was captured instead by something much worse. the augustine society, tracking her down using the uncontrollable banshee’s wail. for years she was held prisoner, muzzled so as to prevent her vocalized attacks as they performed torturous experiments on her. by the time she was found and rescued, she was able to pass herself off as a witch who specialized in sound magic. better to lie than risk her survival. ⌜science fiction fantasy⌟.

verse 005 : supernatural

arc 001 : found at the site of massacre,bubbles buffy is the last remaining member of a benevolent banshee clan. she was adopted and raised by the hunter (& man of letters) who’d discovered her, along with two adoptive sisters. trained in the ways of fighting monsters, the trio have made the choice to continue on in the family business, tracking down and taking out monsters that had been deemed too dangerous to be allowed to live. ⌜started from a spark⌟.

arc 001 : cartoon based. a graduate of alfea college for fairies, bubbles is the fairy of electricity. ⌜come join the club⌟.

arc 001 : one of three demigod sisters to share the same father, bubbles buffy is the daughter of the celtic goddess clíodhna (read: cleena). she was around eight when she went off to camp avalon the first time, having survived a dullahan attack on the journey there. she still has a visible scar on her left shoulder blade from the attack. as a child of the celtic goddess of love and beauty, as well as queen of the banshees, buffy’s abilities in this verse are as follows: death sense via banshee wail, sonic scream, amokinesis, charmspeak, glamoring, enhanced beauty, fluency in celtic gaelic. ⌜olympians who⌟.

“What’s with the lolly?”

“I was eating it when I died,” Harry said slowly. “I’d never had a lolly before. I suppose it just... came with?”

Harry frowned. “Magic? That’s what I could do?”

Voldemort inclined his head. “Yes, child. No muggle is strong enough to leave behind an imprint.” Especially such an odd one. 

“Huh,” Harry murmured thoughtfully. “So my family wasn’t just awful, then. They had a reason for calling me a freak.”

“What?” Voldemort said softly. His voice was cold. Dangerously so. But... if Harry was already dead, he really had nothing to fear, so there was no harm telling him. 

“The Dursleys,” he explains. “My aunt, uncle and cousin. They all hated me - treated me like a servant, more than family - called me a freak. I’m just saying, I suppose it makes sense now.”

The man hums thoughtfully. His eyes are a bright red, intent and gleaming, when they meet Harry’s. “You were a magical child,” he says softly. Then, “Where was it that you lived with this family of yours?”

Never tell strangers where you live was right up there with never tell strangers that we lock you in a cupboard. Harry hesitated, the rules ingrained. “Why?”

“You were magical,” the man repeated. “Every drop of magical blood is special. And they spilled it, didn’t they, child?”

“All kids bleed,” Harry says. Dudley had scraped his knees plenty. 

“Most kids are given bandages,” Voldemort said softly. “But you are no longer able to accept them. So consider this a kindness from your Lord, child. I will kill the filthy muggles who dared harm you.”

...

“I’m busy, Potter. Run along and play now.”

The boy squints at him in confusion. “Play?”

“Yes. Play. Or lounge, stare at the sky, whatever you please - just cease pestering me.”

When Voldemort looked up again the brat was gone. 

He wouldn’t see him again for weeks. 

“You know, when I said stop pestering me, I didn’t mean I didn’t want to ever see you again. I just didn’t wish to be distracted by you.”

Harry shrugged, legs swinging back and forth. “It’s all right, I’m used to being alone.” 

“As am I,” Voldemort said. “Hence my annoyance at your continued presence.”

“So you do want me to leave,” Harry concludes, pushing himself off the couch. He lands on the hardwood soundlessly.

“Is that what I said?”

“Sometimes the answer is in what people don’t say,” the seven-year-old said wisely. 

“Harry,” he snaps, before the boy can vanish again to Merlin-knew-where. “You can stay.”

Harry blinks at him dubiously, but then shrugs and settles back on the sofa. “Alright. Should I be quiet and pretend I don’t exist?”

“No,” Voldemort says definitively. “You will listen to me. You wish to know about magic, do you not?”

Harry visibly perks up. “I’m allowed to learn?”

The more of these seemingly innocuous questions the boy asks, the more Voldemort wants to murder his relatives. One day, he thinks, he will convince the boy to slip. To give him the address. 

“You are expected to,” he says shortly. “I will ask questions at the end.”

Teaching was different than he expected. The boy raised his hand often, and once Voldemort finished his thought and nodded his permission, he asked a question—sometimes several at once. What did a word mean, or why did wizards use Latin for spells, or why did people need wands.

“Your wand is an extension of yourself,” Voldemort lectures. “It is a tool used to channel magic. People can learn to use magic without a wand, but it is never so powerful.”

Harry’s lolly was hanging loosely in his hand. He stared down at it thoughtfully. “I’ll never have a wand,” he says thoughtfully. “I have this, though.” 

He meets Voldemort’s eyes briefly before pointing his lolly at the cushion and mimicking Voldemort’s wand motions perfectly. “Wingardium Leviosa,” he says firmly.

Before Voldemort can tell him that such a thing would hardly work, the cushions shot into the air. Harry watches them with open delight, moving his lolly to and fro like a conductor. The cushions follow his antics smoothly, before slowly sinking back into place on the couch. Harry turns to Voldemort, expectant.

The man is watching him cooly, eyes analytical. “Just what are you, Harry Potter?”

What. Not who.

Harry shrinks, but then puffs himself up and glares back. “Just the same old freak,” he snaps, and then vanishes.

When he comes back a month later his hair is longer.

He’s incorporeal, but he’s growing. Ageing. Able to do magic.

Voldemort is fascinated by the phenomenon.

There was an incident last year. It was during winter as well. You two were at Hogsmeade since your boyfriend wanted to buy you something. He was having a stressful week so he came the real world to pick you up. You had work of your own but you knew he didn’t like to hear ‘no’ for an answer and either way, you missed his touch too. After a whole day of taking his anger and stress out on your poor body, he felt bad watching you struggle to stand up. So he planned a little shoping spree for you at night specifically so he doesn’t get recognized. You still struggled to walk properly but you made do.

It was your first time shopping at magic stores. You had gotten sweets from Honeydukes, few clothing from a different store and your boyfriend had spent a few hours at a scroll and potion shop. You two were walking home through a dark walkway. Your boyfriend held on tightly onto your waist to support you and because he could.

You nuzzled into his chest, giggling and smiling. Things were going great till you heard footsteps in the snow. Your boyfriend turned around to see few of his classmates. They wore Slytherin attire.

The group of kids questioned why he was with a muggle and they seemed to get handsy with him as well. Your boyfriend said nothing, turned around and walked the other way. One of the boy chanted wingardium leviosa which unexpectedly pulled you up into the air. You screamed and dropped all your clothes and sweets fell to the ground.

Your boyfriend quickly pulled out his wand and chanted a spell of his own causing his target to explode into flames. You fell but were caught by your boyfriend before you could hit the ground. It was silent for a while. The group stood unarmed, speechless at the sight in-front of them. Your boyfriend was dumbfounded as well however he suddenly realized. He chanted the spell for each of his target, causing them to burst into flames. Soon there was nothing but dry ash moving along the wind.

Your boyfriend roughly picked you and your possessions up and hurried back to his quarters.

“babe… are you okay?” You remember asking something along those lines.

“Of course. What about you? You got lifted up, you sure you didn’t sprain anything.” He asked.

That was one of the things that attracted him to you. Despite his superiority over you, he cared more about you in ever way.

“I’m fine,” You laid against his chest beating faster than ever.

According to your boyfriend a week later, those kids were reported missing and none of the other Slytherins dare utter a word to the professors.

Appearance: Inger is very pale with a generous smattering of freckles across her nose and cheeks, chestnut brown hair (usually found in a low twisted ponytail with a variety of flyaways around her face), and toffee brown eyes. Background: Inger was born in Ebeltoft, Denmark on January 21st, 1875 to Ella Bronfen (a half-blood of English descent) and Elias Finn Nilsdott (a pure-blood of Danish and English descent). Her brother, Gilbert (Gil) Oliver Nilsdott, was born when she was five. During her younger years, Inger’s father traveled abroad working as a Curse-Breaker for the Ministry of Magic. Inger's mother worked as a Healer. Due to the spontaneous nature of Elias Nilsdott’s job, the poor reputation of Durmstrang Institute, and the ever-increasing suspicion of the family's Muggle neighbors, Inger was homeschooled for much of her life… That is, until the neighbors caught her trying out Wingardium Leviosa on her cat with her mother’s wand. Following the incident the family moved to Shaftesbury, England when Inger was 14. Having attended Hogwarts when she was a girl, Inger’s mother had always dreamed that her daughter would one day do the same. After some discussion Inger was enrolled the following year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as a fifth-year student.

7. “If you tell me you burnt yourself, I’m going to say I told you so.”

James was observing the oven with stone confused face and his eyes were flicking to the recipe and back to the oven. He was way more than confused and this whole muggle thing didn’t make any sense.

“If I got it right…” he started. “And I’m pretty sure I got it right!” he nodded his head, his soft curls falling behind his glasses. “If we do it at a higher temperature it’s going to be ready a lot faster, right?” he turned to face you.

You only laughed at how adorable and confused he was with this whole new thing but Peter went into panic mode. “Do not touch the oven!” he shouted and quickly shot a web on James’ back.

“Don’t get even closer to the oven.”

“Why?” James confusedly called out as he let Peter to pull him closer to you.

“Jamie, darling, it’s supposed to be done slowly.” you smiled at him and ruffled his hair. “Want some jam for nerves?” you brought up the spoon with jam to his hand, which he gladly accepted.

“I deserve my spoon too!” Peter sounded a bit hurt but you and James only laughed. “If you think so, Spidey.” James rolled his eyes with a laugh.

“Hey!” Peter turned to him. “Cut that off you, wand man.” Peter argued and you knew that this is gonna be another cat war between them.

“Oh god…” you mumbled to yourself and continued with cleaning the baking stuff.

You only started paying attention to them when you heard James shouting “Wingardium leviosa!” and right after that “Arresto momentum!”.

You raised your head up and saw Peter hanging in the air, the web slowly, so slowly that you almost didn’t catch it, spreading from his hand.

“James! Fucking again?” you frowned at him and folded your arms.

“He started…” James mumbled. “Get him back down, immediately.” you pointed at the floor and went to check heart cookies.

After everything was down, James calmed down and Peter actually back down on the floor. You pulled out the sheet metal with cookies and put them on a wooden cutting board.

“Peter, James, don’t touch the oven, okay?” You looked up at them and left the oven open. “It’s still hot and it needs to cool down. Stay away from it, okay?” you made sure they heard you. Maybe they had superpowers, but for some reason it covered their ears.

“Can we have cookies now?” James asked and you sweetly smiled at them. You put those cookies on a plate and went on a balcony with them, finally being able to enjoy the nice weather today.

You relaxed a bit, leaning against James and Peter as you nibbled on the cookie.

“I’m gonna get some apple juice, do you want some too?” Peter asked and James asked for an orange one while you stayed with your cookie. “You know….” James started. “Peter reminds me of someone. A lot.” James looked down at you.

“Really? Who?” you raised your head up at him, showing him that you’re listening.

“He reminds me of my friend, I don’t know ho-”

“Fuck!” James was cut off by Peter’s painful yelp, you already knew what that meant.

You rolled your eyes and shouted into kitchen. “If you tell me you burnt yourself, I’m going to say I told you so.”
