I haven't really spoken about her that much but Becca is gonna be so important for future storylines so I need to talk about her.

TW: Mentions of divorce under the cut and religon

Becca was born in Tulsa to an upper middle class, southern Baptist family. She grew up close with Ruby and Dylan. She was raised in a slightly conservative home.

Becca had always dreamed of the idea of being in love, working in the medical field and having a family of her own. She grew up watching her parents be happy with the lives they had chosen and wanted that for herself.

She has gotten really into fashion, music, and dancing in high school and middle school. She started doing ballet classes, sculpting, and learning the piano.

During her sophomore year, she and Elijah had started hanging out more. She had a crush on him during her freshman year when he moved to Tulsa. He had also started to notice her more. She liked Elijah because he was interesting, he had similar interests in music, he was entertaining and he liked her for the same reasons. They started dating soon after.

Becca and Elijah weren't really a great couple. Teenage Elijah wasn't a good boyfriend, he didn't believe in the idea of being in love, he had a flirtatious personality and that didn't really match Becca at all who was a hopeless romantic and believed she in Elijah were met to be. They broke up in their junior year.

After Becca graduated, she started dating another guy and marrying him 8 months into the relationship but divorced a year after. After her divorce, she moved to New York to study nursing she could start working as a pediatric nurse. When she was in NY, she had started dating a new man, Cameron Anderson. He was a med student and they got married after 2 years of dating. She and Cameron had their daughter, Alexandra "Lexie" shortly after getting married.

Becca was very outgoing throughout her life. She loved partying, going to concerts, museums, etc. She loved making friends. She was very social and that was kind of a riff in her and Cameron's marriage.

Cameron wasn't really around as much because he was a hospital doctor and even when he was around, he was kind of an absent father leaving Becca to raise Lexie alone for a lot of their marriage. She and Cameron divorced when Lexie was 14. He didn't really want custody or wanted to see Lexie so Becca moved back to Tulsa with her.

Becca was a really good mother. She was still very outgoing even if she didn't go to parties and concerts as much, she always tried to spend as much time with Lexie as possible. When Lexie was 16, Becca had met her 3rd husband Malcolm. They got married 2 years later and they ended up being super happy. Lexie was really happy too.

There’s a decent bit of fairly subtle variation between a few of the different leotards. That is heavily just stemming from different body shapes/types and fitting in ways that will be the most flattering on each. Some of it is more design details, like differing chain placement, Lexi’s top ending with a V waist while the rest have parallel, and the black threaded into the newer UK chains. There’s also been some differences in materials.

Hello! This is Ace, 12 year old creator of this small indie game, i’m here to give a brief description on the game and what it’s about and the cast of 10 wonderful characters!

Alice, Alice Wolf, is the character in the name of the game. Alice is a ‘animatronic’ who is sentient and in charge of the cakery, she has a barista named Amelia Fairbourne, and a cashier named Zoe Holloway. Amelia is Alice’s right-hand man, she would do absolutely anything to keep the cakery in business..ANYTHING. (keywords here: anything, sentient, animatronic)

The Cakery was apparently founded by twin sisters, Lyric Everly and Alice Everly, but atleast that’s what old newspapers say, i wonder if that has any relevance to the story?

we follow the story of Andy, a 47 year old veteran detective, and Charlie, the 24 year old newbie. they don’t get along very well, but that might change as the story goes on, you’ll have to see! (no keywords)

there’s 3 main ghosts, Lexi Anderson(9), Kenzi Booker(13), and Rose Clifton(11), 3 girls who died brutally at the hands of a unknown killer. they’ve all been dead for 5 years, truly a tragedy isn’t it? (keywords here: main ghosts, unknown killer)

in the basement, there’s two more characters! Lyric the ferret, another animatronic made similarly to Alice, and Dolly the snake, a small handmade doll who seems to be stuffed with something other than stuffing. Lyric is very beat up, inside and out, oil leaking everywhere, limbs missing, etc

i take very heavy inspiration from Five Nights At Freddy’s, Tattletail, and Dead Plate, Doki Doki Literature Club, and other games like those!

Summary: Alex Shepard hopped a cargo ship with an unknown destination when he was twelve and ended up in the Asari colony of Blackdamp on Asteria. He liked the colony, and when he told Ishara—the Asari who found him in the streets—that he’d rather stay in Blackdamp than be sent to the human colony on the other side of the planet, she adopted him.

These are snapshots of Alex’s teen years, one per year, starting at the age of 13 and continuing to the age of 18.

Notes: First and foremost, this fic came into existence because I was working on my novelization of the ME1 timeline for Alex Shepard, and I realized that I was having a hard time being in his head to write because I didn’t know him well enough. So after several conversations with a bunch of people, I decided I needed to actually write some of his backstory.

Second: I’ve tagged gnc!shepard, even though there isn’t a whole lot in this fic that’s him glaringly being gender nonconforming (at least in my opinion there isn’t). He was 12 when he left Earth, which is certainly old enough to have a basic concept of gender and gender roles that are part of the human standard. But the Asari are a monogendered species, and that means their cultural concepts of gender are going to be significantly different than human concepts. Given that Alex spends most of his teen years completely immersed in Asari culture, I felt like his own concepts relating to gender probably wouldn’t match up directly with the human standard.

Third: Through some research, I discovered that the one or two Asari words canon gives us seem to be based in Akkadian. Now, as a non-academic person, finding someone who knows Akkadian is kind of difficult. I was, however, able to find someone who speaks Arabic, and I’ve adopted some of the language in this fic. I’ve done my absolute best to make sure I’m using words correctly! Translations will be provided in the end-notes for each chapter.

A huge thank you to CrimsonShield75 for taking the time to give me a solid list of Arabic vocabulary and a bit of a syntax lesson. I really appreciate it so much.

Forgive me, the picrew didn't have rose flowers, but I still wanted to give her a little hair thingy that matched her talent! Also, I love the idea of Rose having a heart cowlick (some DR characters have ahoges and they're not protagonists). Even if it's not canon, it was too cute not to include!

I think that Lexie was scared of the idea of love after her parents' divorce. She was the one who found out about her dad's affair before her mom did, she witnessed how badly that upset her mom, how the divorce financially and emotionally stressed her out even though she had gotten alimony and child support, she witnessed everything and even though she wanted to fall in love she was scared of the potential pain that might cost her.

I don't think they'll get along super well. Now don't get me wrong, I don't think they'll be enemies but I just don't see them really being friends. She'll probably be too scared to talk to them anyways as she's a big coward and I mean... look at them compared to her, they could absolutely destroy her if they wanted too. She'll probably wave when walking pass them once she warmed up to them though!

Hmm, probably would get along a little bit. There's nothing Jay can really do that could scare off Lexi, and Lexi canonly has friends who are kinda like Jay. I just don't see them seeing eachother that often, and they probably wouldn't have that many special interactions. Just some casual acquaintances that could develop into a tiny friendship

Lexi would 100% be scared of Scottie at first. I am not sure if they would ever be friends because Lexi can be a bit... annoying at times. I don't see them being complete enemies though, specially since Lexi is almost never at the kitchen and Lexi always tries to make things better by helping

Oooh! I see them getting along very well! Lexi never gets scared from children, so there's no way she'll be scared of Amelia. They have quite a lot in common. The only problem is Lexi is in desperate need of a friend who also isn't a stickfigure/human, so she might vent dump to Amelia on accident

It HEAVILY depends if Lexi overhears about the curse before meeting him or not. If she does, as she most likely is as she's secretly very nosy, she would HATE him. She would absolutely blame Danny and constantly fight Danny for no reason other then the curse. And probably lose... everytime. Well until she finds out Danny has motion sickness, then he's screwed

If she didn't, they would probably would (and surprisely) become friends. They do have some stuff in common, it's just nobody expects Lexi to have that side of her when everybody thinks she's innocent (have fun guessing because I am not going to explain how they are kinda similiar). They would probably have secret conservations, specifically with letters because Lexi doesn't trust saying things out loud. Lexi would try to convince Danny to stop his dangerous actions. She would probably feel too bad to leave the friendship if she ever hears about the curse at this point

They would probably be acquaintances, despite Benjamin working for the government. Not enemies but not really friends... until she hears about his trauma. It doesn't matter if it's because Benjamin told her or if she overhears it, she'll feel terrible. She knows what is it like to have a very terrible family member. She will basically start getting really attached to Benjamin and protect him at all costs, expect at times where she knows she'll get in big trouble with the Toppat Clan.
