Im not gonna hold u; this big run was miserable. Like the map was just So Fucking Bad. High tide was hell. Getting horrorboros on hightide was an immediate death sentence. Reg tide was annoying (having the natural spawn be a foot away from the ramp close to the basket was not okay who let this happen???) Low tide was BAD like SO BAD there is just no way u can say its okay to have all threats from all directions AND have me climb up to get long range threats???? And u know its awful when they have to literally hide the fucking big shot cannon behind a lower ledge directly outside their own spawning geyser bc the alternative would make it laughably close to spawn 😭😭😭😭😭 and on top of this, they gave us arguably the worst grizzco weapon (brella) for a run that incentivizes high scores like just seeing Three Grizzco Brellas and a Rapid Blaster Pro for High Tide immediately made me want to give up; a [grizzco] Charger or Blaster wouldve been way more manageable for the absolute dogshit spawns they gave us. No one uses specials, or if i check the app for boss kills, ill see that our only solution to NINE (FUCKING NINE) flyfish was a killerwail that wants so so SO desperately to lock on to this maws underground and an inkstrike that needs to u be midrange to throw and that never happens bc all of us are pushed into high tide territory bc again. They have decided that having their spawns be right next to the basket was okay. I never complain about splatoon or salmon run rotations and i literally will just suck it up if they give us bad weapons but i literally had No Fucking Fun at all. It was 100% stressful and im blessed to have even found a decent freelance group that got me to 153 eggs like i wont get gold but i hope thats at least silver 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

I'm also very flattered and honoured that you would think of me as the CEO of Kalim x Idia; that's so very sweet of you! I really do love talking about them, and I am glad it shows.

For how Kalim would treat Ortho:

Kalim's an older brother, with a lot of younger siblings. He also is really cheerful in his disposition and is kind to everyone. He's very sentimental and loves to help others. I think Kalim would easily treat Ortho kindly.

While initially, he treats Ortho with the same kindness and enthusiasm that he treats everyone, I think that will change a bit as he realizes his feelings for Idia. Kalim may be very emotional and openly sentimental, but even he is not immune to the "oh I have a crush oh no what if my crush finds out I'm crushing on them" phenomenon so many people end up going through. He'd be a little bit nervous, and much as he asks Jamil for help, he isn't really reassured. He knows Ortho is very close to Idia, and he knows the brothers are very smart. If anything, I think for a short period of time he would start trying to (politely) avoid interactions with Ortho.

Of course, Ortho would definitely pick up on this. I think he would feel more than a little saddened, and I definitely think he would corner Kalim one day and ask him why. That would break the silence, and Kalim would spill the beans. In my mind, Ortho would end up delighted, and Kalim would feel so relieved because he really enjoys Ortho's presence. I think from that point forward, Kalim and Ortho would start to bond a lot more. Ortho starts helping Kalim woo Idia, because let's be honest, he knows Idia best. I think Kalim would take to treating Ortho much like a younger brother at that point, and Ortho would be thrilled to have someone like Kalim in his life.

For how Idia handles Kalim's siblings:

Oh boy. Ohhhhhhh boy. Have you ever seen a bunch of excited and eager kiddos find a shy cat at a birthday party?

At first, Idia is definitely overwhelmed by the sheer amount of siblings Kalim has. And they're all younger. They're eager to meet him and probably shouting and calling for his attention, maybe even physically coming up and tugging on his arms or clinging to him.

I think it would take several visits before he even comes close to being able to talk with any of them.

But here's the thing: as shy as he is, we also know Idia tries his best to be a good big brother to Ortho, and he has a bit of an ego. All it takes is for one of the kids to proudly show him their video games and beg him to play. Immediately, among the kiddos, he is Kalim's Super Cool Boyfriend who really rocks at video games. And, while I think that would really make Idia feel proud of himself, I think it would also trigger his older brother instincts and make him want to be around the kiddos more.

We know from his interactions with Muscle Red online that he can be a mentor figure in video games when he wants to. I think suddenly Idia is the go-to for the kids when they have a new game, beat their own high scores, or are stuck on a really hard level and need pointers. And Idia is all-too-happy to be involved like this. He's praising them and giving them pointers, and I think he'd be gentler with them than he is with his own peers, because I think he would feel toward them as if they are Ortho.

He becomes more and more confident around the siblings, and they really idolize him. At times, it seems they want him around more than they want Kalim. Kalim definitely pouts over this, especially because he just wants time with his boyfriend but his younger siblings stole Idia the moment he walked through the door. Worry not, Kalim, Idia is still an introvert. He will need time to recharge...and you know what that means! Cuddles with the boyfriend!!!!

It's common for you and Mikey to hang out after school if he doesn't have a Toman meeting to attend to. Usually you two would usually go by the river side or into the city to grab a bite to eat.

Mikey sometimes doesn't even call you ahead of time that he is coming to pick you up from school. He just shows up which attracts a crowd and drags you to go on a date with him.

Today he brings you to the arcade where you both play various games. Mikey is competitive by nature so don't expect him to go easy on you. You both play different kinds of games such as car racing or shooting games.

You even begged Mikey to play the punching bag game and of course you weren't surprised that he set a new high score.

However, when it comes to the crane game Mikey sucks at it. He's the type to quickly get frustrated and keep trying until he runs out of coins. You had to stop him from shouting at the machine or worse kicks it. He really wanted to get the plushie for you.

You drag him out of the arcade and instantly he spots a taiyaki stand. His mood instantly changes from grumpy to excited as he runs off to the stand. While you sweat drop waiting by the entrance of the arcade.

After a few minutes of standing, you notice three guys coming out of the arcade and they stop as they notice you.

"Hey cutie, waiting for somebody?" The guy in the middle says as he steps in front of you. You instantly take a step back as he steps closer to you.

"Yes, he'll be back soon."

"Instead of waiting, why don't you come with us?"

"Yeah, we could show you a good time."

They all chuckle as they surround you they gaze on you as they await your answer. You frown as you clench the strap of your school bag. "No, thank you." You respond as your eyes dart to look behind them to see if any passersby noticed your distress.

"Aww come on, it'll be fun!" The guy in the middle harshly grabs your wrist as if to tug you along with him. Your eyes widen as you feel heart began to race. "N-No, let me go...!" You stutter out as they corner you against the wall.

Your breath hitches at the sound of your boyfriend, the guys surrounding you turn around to see Mikey with a frown on his face carrying a paper bag.

The two guys beside him flinch in surprise as they see their friend knocked out. Mikey casually let's puts his leg down, one hand carrying the bag of taiyaki.

At this rate the two remaining guys could feel shivers as they are on the receiving end of Mikey's cold hard stare. As Mikey pulls his fist back to punch the guy on your right he suddenly stops midway before touching his face, the guy immediately cowers and falls to his knees as Mikey stands over him.

"P-Please, don't! I'm sorry!"

"Please let us g-go...!" The guy standing on your left falls to his knees as well before bringing his hands to beg. You could tell the remaining two guys were truly scared as you watch them shake from fear. "Where did all that confidence from earlier go?" You thought to yourself as you frown, yet feeling relieved at Mikey's appearance. A moment passes as Mikey glares at them.

"Scram, before I change my mind and take the trash with you."

"Y-Yes, sir..!" The two guys quickly haul their knocked out friend by the arms and speed walk down the street. Only when you notice they were truly gone do you let out a shaky sigh.

"Thank you, M-Mikey..." You let out a weak smile as your boyfriend eyes meet yours in concern.

"Did they hurt you?" Mikey asks as he inspects your body for any injuries or wound. Before using his free hand to carefully grab your wrist using his thumb to smooth over it as his frown deepens.

Yeah I’ve found the same sorta, girls will play a passing game and go for more chippy goals whilst boys will skate up alone and go for a snipe (I say that like my only goal wasn’t me skating up alone and backhanding it 5 hole 😂). Yeah it was exciting to move up but we realized that we just weren’t at that level and by the time we figured it out it was too late we couldn’t make up enough ground. Yeah I liked playing and that’s not yo say I didn’t enjoy rep I think I got too caught up in the competition of it and the feeling of needing to win that I was happy when we won but when I lost I was really upset and then in houseleague I started to just enjoy playing no matter what the score which was a lot more enjoyable to me

Yeah, I’m used to playing a lot because it’s soccer you don’t change as often as hockey but as a defender I get breaks when we’re attacking like if we’re stuck defending for a while I’m like nah I can’t do this, I will go down and make the ref stop the game even if I’m not hurt just because I know if I’m wiped so is the rest of my team and we need a break 😂 I’m sure the refs figured out what I was doing when I’d get right back up with no difficulties after they stopped the play 😂, it is what it is with heat and for me I try to push as far as I can which is why I kept getting heat stroke because I could feel that I was too hot but I was like no I can still play until halftime or until the end of the game and then like 10 minutes later I’m like oh no getting dizzy 😂 I personally should’ve taken more breaks but I refused, I don’t blame my coaches (this happened multiple times lol) for not subbing me more after surgery and stuff because at that point I was playing winter soccer or houseleague so I was one of the best girls out there and they want to play as long as I can and I want to play as long as I can so I don’t blame them for wanting their best team out there but yeah it was kinda sucky when I’m exhausted and can’t turn my head because my neck hurts, but what I love about soccer is the team you know like my teammates checking on me and subbing in for me even if they don’t wanna go on D and telling the coach he has to sub more often like we take care of each other and I loved that

Surgery was good!! Mostly only a little complication but my thyroid is gone my cancer is gone my meds are very presently in me I am as healthy as an average 21 year old college student can be

The refs in my town suck they’re either not knowledgeable about the rules because they’re like 15 which shows you how little refs we actually had if I had 15 year old kids reffing my games when I was 14, or they’re on a power trip like there’s one ref that grinds my gears because he makes biased calls based on who he likes or doesn’t like and he tries to control the game so much like he just likes bossing around children but he refs some of my dads games and acts the same so he’s just a piece of shit on a power trip, you just have to accept that refs will make bs calls and I won’t yell at a kid I don’t even really yell at the adults either I mostly just ask what the hell they just called me on but if it’s that piece of shit someone has to drag me away I’ll let him have it 😂

Yeah my program is pretty interesting especially since I’m at the point where I’m starting to specialize on topics and I’m seeing so much overlap in my classes like I’m taking a course on 19th century American fiction which is the class my presentation was on so we’re talking about the civil war and about slavery and I’m taking another class on Canadian literature and we’re talking about black migration to Canada from the states, and I’m also taking the history of Ontario since confederation so all this stuff in my Canadian lit class is about Canadian society so I’m seeing how society and culture shaped literature because the themes in can. lit are actually aspects of society or they’re challenging what they saw in society which is what I’m learning about! Not to nerd out or anything….

Oh yeah I feel that tbh I miss a lot because my wifi lowkey sucks so my stream lags a lot and then I also have uni work to do and sometimes when I watch sports I cross stitch so then I’m real deep in counting that I miss something but I can’t stop counting stitches yet because my pattern rests on there being the right number of stitches

I think we’ll just have to keep checking Twitter and ne ready for last minute games😂 I only know for sure that they’re playing in Kingston and Ottawa in a week and a half or something because I have tickets to the Ottawa game but other than that it’s all a mystery to me😂

And yes! Two melos but the complete opposite of each other! I hadn’t been to one of their meets before because covid and this is the second one where spectators were allowed, but they’re actually like good like I didn’t think they were bad but they’re good, and especially since I’m pretty sure at least one of roommates was doing an event she doesn’t normally do, but my one roommate does the longer events like the 200m or 400m or relays where my other roommate does the short events like the 50m or 100m they are different but good (and so strong SHEESH🥵)

I thought the pwhpa was showing the games on cbc sports internationally? I thought they tweeted that unless I misunderstood….. I didn’t think they were on TSN but I don’t know why I thought they wouldn’t be it would make hella sense if TSN is showing them but I could’ve sworn I read cbc sports
