Potter reader with Remus is too good!! Pls more if you feel like it 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
It was the second full moon of the year, and Remus was buzzing with anxiety. He always got anxious, but having you around this year made him even more irritable. He hated lying to you, and he’d already had to lie once during the last moon. Now that the two of you didn’t have to hide from James, it left hardly any excuses for Remus to make. He had been avoiding you today, waking up extra early and getting breakfast without you or the other marauders. Then he spent some time in the library revising before heading straight to class. He showed up towards the end of lunch, where he politely chatted and tried to look as normal as possible. The boys didn’t bat an eye to his behavior, but you weren’t buying it. Something was going on with Remus. You knew he had a free period after lunch, so you wanted to be with him.
“I’m skipping arithmancy and coming to hang out,” you said as the two of you packed up your bags from lunch.
“What? Why would you do that?” Remus asked, sounding slightly panicked.
“Because I want to spend time with you,” you said, causing Remus to smile softly.
“Okay, let’s go. Who am I to deny my girlfriend from skipping class,” Remus chuckled, reaching out for your hand as you went back up to the Gryffindor tower. The two of you headed up to his dorm. James had told Remus not to bring you into their room, and Remus agreed. Well, he agreed not to bring you in while James was there to find out.
“Put on that zeppelin album,” you suggested, plopping your bag down on his trunk and slipping off your shoes. Remus moved to put on the record at the end of Sirius’ bed before coming over to you on the bed. He stood over it and watched you scoot yourself back towards the headboard, keeping your big doe eyes locked on his.
“Rem,” you purred, reaching your arms out for him. You heard him kinda of groan before climbing over you, lowering himself down to capture you in his lips. You hummed softly into the kiss. Remus seemed starved, yet he was holding himself back. His hands grazed ever so lightly down the side of your body as he kissed you tentatively, yet with so much fervor it had you instantly yearning for more. You bucked your hips up to his, earning a grunt from Remus as he roughly pushed you hips back into the mattress. You gasped at the sudden force, moaning when his hand traveled up to your neck. He began to kiss down the side of your neck, sure to leave a mark at this rate.
“Re-Remus,” you gasped, slightly shocked at his roughness. He pulled back from you, he eyes slightly wide as he watched you pant below him. Fuck, that didn’t mean you wanted him to stop.
“I’m sorry, Y/N. I really shouldn’t be doing this right now,” he shook his head, sitting back on his heels. You sat up straight and put your hand on his cheek.
“Rem, please. I want this,” you looked up at him pleadingly, “I know I won’t see you tonight so please. You know how lonely I can get at night.” You pouted and he instantly softened. Who was he to deny his girlfriend anything? Wait. Remus heart dropped briefly as he thought to himself how does she know she won’t see me tonight? But the logical part of his brain knew it was because most nights, they didn’t see each other. There was only so much sneaking around the castle one could take. Remus took notice of your pleading eyes once more and caved, coming forward to gently lay you on your back.
“I don’t want to hurt you,” he whispered, his hands lightly skimming the sides of your hips. You squirmed under his touch.
“It’s okay,” you whispered. “I like when you’re rough.”
With that, Remus had surged towards your lips. The two of you became a moaning mess as he ground himself down into your hips, his buldge feeling extra hard tonight. You didn’t know if it was possible for him to get any bigger, but you swore he had grown today. His fingertips dug into your hips, making you squirm.
“Sorry,” he grunted, moving his hands up to your waist, where they gripped just as tight. You gasped as he bite your lip, pulling back and down as moved onto your chest. In a swift motion, he pulled the front of your shirt open. You hoped he hadn’t ripped off any buttons. You tried to scold him but the air was taken out of your lungs and he suctioned your nipple into his mouth, using his teeth to gently nip at the tender nub. His left hand was now pushing your leg up and in towards your chest, using the leverage to grind down into your heat as he came up to look at you. He was in too deep to stop now, but he was nervous. He’d never been with anyone the day of the full moon, and could hardly contain himself with your clothes on. Your neck was littered with deep purple splotches, your shirt was haphazardly thrown open, and your skirt was flipped up to reveal soaking pink panties.
“Fuck, Y/N,” he groaned, reaching down gently to press his thumb to your clit. He watched as you threw your head back in pleasure. He groaned again, pressing harder on the sensitive nub and watched as you grabbed the sheets with clenched hands.
“Please, Remus. Please come and fuck me,” you whined, beckoning him with your pleading face to come closer. He groaned again to, pressing his lips into yours as he ground down into you again, hard. You could feel his hands gripping the mattress beside your hand.
“Just tell me if I’m going too hard, and I’ll stop,” Remus said, more to reassure himself than you. You nodded, pulling your underwear down. Remus pulled down his own pants before lining himself up with your dripping core. You looked down at his cock in between your legs. He definitely looked bigger. Remus gripped next to your head harder as he pushed himself into you, stretching you out. You held your breath, holding in a breath and moan alike. He was moving painfully slow, thrusting deeper and deeper inside you until finally, he bottomed out. Your body relaxed in a wave and you moaned louder than you were expecting. Your pussy pulsed around his cock once and it was over. He suddenly pulled back, and thrust into you once again, but hard this time. You gasped, not accustom to his size yet. But Remus just groaned, and pounded into you once more, moving the grip from the mattress to your hair. He always loved grabbing you hair, but today he gripped the back of your head like a puppet as he fucked you. You couldn’t think straight as he slid his arm underneath your back, still clutching your hair. He used this to get even more leverage, fucking you even deeper than before. Your pussy was getting massacred, and was only stretched out more when Remus took his free hand to lift you leg back up. You were certain there would be finger shapes on your milky thighs when this was over. At this point, Remus was just trying not to split you in two. It took every once of strength in him not to go even harder. He knew you would take anything he gave you. He pulled you up to connect his lips with yours. This was effective for a second. Remus relished in your taste as he thrust into you slowly, but all self control was thrown out the window when he heard your whiny moans.
“I love when you make those sounds for me, Y/N,” he rasped, continuing to fuck you into a daze. The only response you could muster up were more of those sounds, and Remus took them greedily into his mouth. You didn’t know how much longer it was before your vision was starting to go black. In fact, you weren’t even sure if your vision went black or if your eyes pinched shut as he hit you at just the right angle. You came around his dick, his thrust not slowing down as you tried to ride out your high. Remus had surely noticed as he kept muttering fuck and tried to stroke the back of your head with his fingers. But he couldn’t stop. He kept pounding into your pussy, pulsing at the sounds of your overstimulated whines as you clawed down his back. He took it in stride as he felt your nails drag down his skin, your pussy so warm and wet beneath him. He could feel you about to cum again. He could smell you about to cum again.
“Come on darling,” he breathed, gripping your head again with strength. “Come all over me.” With that you came again, the second one washing over you quicker, more intense. You felt Remus grunt in your shoulder before bottoming out once more, filling you up with his cum. The two of you stayed there panting for a moment as his seed began to seep out of you. Your pussy was fucked raw, and Remus noticed your wince when he pulled out. He instantly starting peppering you with kisses, mummering you’re such a good girl and you take me so well into you ears. You giggled, despite the slight throb between your thighs.
“So aggressive today,” you chuckled, stroking the back of Remus’ head as he slumped into your body. It was funny, one second he seemed so pent up and the next he was as sweet as can be.
“I’m sorry,” he whispered, putting soothing kisses on your neck. He prayed you would cover them up or James would have his head.
“S’okay,” you mumbled, “I… I really liked that.” Remus chucked into your neck. Of course you would.
“You’re such a little freak, Y/N Potter,” Remus teased, upping the two of you over so you could lay on his chest. You pouted up at him.
“You’re the one who’s teaching me,” you whined. Remus had been your first everything. This made him chuckle again.
“Can’t teach someone to send a pair of panties by owl. That one was all you,” he grinned, causing you to smack him. He spent the rest of the hour rubbing your back, feeling as relaxed as he would on any day. This made it harder as you grabbed your bad to leave saying,
“See you at dinner?”
Remus smiled softly and nodded at you, standing up to give you one last kiss before you left for class. He knew he would not be at dinner, but he’d already instructed the others to tell you he wasn’t feeling well. At least now his body wasn’t buzzing, and his headache had seemed to go away.
Later that night when Remus didn’t show up for dinner, you were almost positive you knew. You had actually kind of known for a whole year, but your relationship seemed so different from last year. Last year he was just James’ friend, so you rarely thought about his disappearances further than the surface level. But this year, you had instantly noticed something off. When it fell on a full moon you were almost sure. After today, you as good as knew. You barely slept that night, accepting James word that Remus was “not feeling well.” Bullshit. You tossed in your mattress as you prayed for morning to come. When it did, you immediately went to the hospital wing before breakfast. You tiptoed in, but Madam Pomfrey heard you. You pointed to Remus with pleading eyes and showed with your hands that you would stay quiet. She nodded curtly as you made your way to his bedside. You sat with him all through breakfast, but he didn’t wake up. You spent all morning upset, picturing his poor tired body in the hospital wing. You went back at lunch to find his bed surrounded by your brother and his friends. You sighed and walked towards the group. Remus’ eyes instantly fell to your, James turning around and jumping at the sight of you.
“Y/N! What’re you doing here,” James said, scratching the back of his head with a guilty smile.
“You said Remus was sick. I wanted to check in on him,” you stated matter of fact as you pushed through the ring of boys. You smiled gently at Remus as you grabbed his hand. He looked at the other boys, silently saying leave. They hesitantly left the hospital wing, James keeping a longer eye on you as they left.
“Y/N. Thank you for checking up on me,” Remus rasped. Your furrowed your brows in concern for his voice.
“Remus,” you said dropping to sit on his bed and grab his hand. You sighed, he looked far too tired to hear any questions from you. “I’ll always be here to check up on you,” you gave him a sweet kiss, causing a lazy, lopsided smile to fall on his face. You would never get tired of seeing that smile, even if it meant giving up your boyfriend for one day of the month.

Choose Me, Love Me

A/N: oops got a little more angsty than usual 😬 i had this in my head for a while and finally was able to write it, so I hope it came out well! (also I have no idea how guns work but i’m just going to pretend that i do for the sake of the plot 😅) - mod angel
Pairing: Spencer Reid x Fem!Reader
Summary: Your temper runs high after a miscommunication during a case, making you feel like your relationship is in trouble. (based on 1x18)
CW: angst (that gets resolved), anxiety, jealousy.
~~~
It had been a long day.
You came to check on Spencer when you had a lull in your schedule, since you knew he was the only one in charge of watching the victim. You figured he might be having a hard time with babysitting duty.
Instead, you came in to find the house completely empty. This immediately gave you an uneasy feeling, so you took out your gun as a precaution. It was currently loaded with blanks, since you didn’t want to shoot the victim as a knee-jerk reaction if you were surprised.
You cautiously walked through the house, a feeling of dread creeping through you. Eventually, you found the backyard doors wide open, and you approached them tentatively. You saw movement in the pool, but you didn’t have time to feel relieved that everyone was alive and safe.
You saw Spencer, in the pool, being pulled in by his tie, looking like he was about to kiss the woman he was in charge of protecting.
You felt a surge of emotions so intense you couldn’t even identify all of them; anger? Jealousy? Resentment? Anguish? Heartache? Whatever you were feeling, it wasn’t good.
You couldn’t even rationalize yourself before acting; it was almost as if your body was moving on its own, since your mind was overloaded with emotions. Suddenly you were pulling out your gun, shooting a blank right at the edge of the pool, away from the both of them but close enough to make them jump.
They practically jumped out of their skin in fright, probably thinking the unsub had come while they weren’t paying attention. They turned to look at you, your gun still pointed at the pool. A mix of confusion and annoyance was on the girl’s face, but Spencer looked practically petrified, his eyes wide and remorseful.
You looked at both of them before you spoke, spitting out venom with each word because of how angry you were at that moment. “You’re lucky the unsub isn’t here. You would both be dead before you could even react.” With that, you just turned to walk away, striding back into the house.
You heard Spencer calling your name, his voice strained and emotional. You didn’t turn back to look at him. You couldn’t. You had to hold your breath to stop yourself from sobbing.
You heard Derek and Elle approaching from outside the yard, saying something about finding paparazzi taking pictures in the bushes. You heard their voices quickly getting quieter and quieter as you were angrily striding away, but you could still hear their confusion.
“What’s wrong with her?” You heard Elle ask. “What the hell did you do? She’s pissed.”
You heard footsteps starting to follow you before they were cut off, and you could picture Derek putting a hand on Spencer’s chest when he said. “Kid, I know you don’t know women that well, so let me tell you: do not follow her right now.”
“But-“ Spencer’s voice came out shaky, agonized. “I have to talk to her-“
“No, you don’t,” Derek cut him off. “Not right now. You’re only going to make things worse. You can’t rationalize your way through that kind of anger.”
You guessed his words got through to Spencer, since you didn’t hear anyone following you after that.
You strode through the house until you reached the car you drove here in, getting in the driver’s seat and slamming the door behind you. You ran a shaky hand through your hair, trying to calm yourself before hitting your hands once against the steering wheel. You put your head in your hands, biting your tongue to keep yourself from yelling. You couldn’t even cry; all your thoughts were jumbled in your head, your heart thrumming so hard in your chest you thought it was going to burst out of it.
You sat in that purgatory of emotions, sometimes letting out tearless sobs, wanting to scream but having the slightest self control and just containing the sound to sobs. After what felt like a very long time, you heard your cell phone go off, indicating you have a text. You pulled it out of your pocket and looked at the screen:
HOTCH: Come to the station. Now.
You huffed, throwing your phone in the passenger seat before starting the car. I guess word got back to Hotch already, you thought.
You tried to compose yourself on the drive back to the station, attempting to figure out some kind of excuse for why you shouldn’t be fired. Hopefully you didn’t have to resort to begging.
You walked through the station, trying to keep an even pace and a level head. But every time you remembered what you saw, you were filled with anger all over again. By the time you got to the door, your emotions were at a loud simmer.
Hotch was sitting at a table in a closed off room, looking up at you as you walked in, his face as stoic as always. He gestured to a chair across the table from him. “Sit.”
You closed the door behind you, swallowing and taking a deep breath. This felt like being called into the principal’s office and being grounded by your parents at the same time.
You took your seat across from Hotch, crossing your legs, trying to compose yourself as he spoke directly. “Care to explain yourself?”
You gritted your teeth as you remembered what happened, the anger making your blood boil all over again. “I went to check out the situation. They were being careless, so I wanted to show them that they needed to be more careful.” You tried your best to keep your voice level, but there was still a hint of animosity.
“They were being careless?” He raised an eyebrow at you, his voice stern. “You don’t think firing a gun that close to an agent and a victim is just as, if not more, careless?”
You flared your nostrils, angry and ashamed all at once. “I fired a blank-“
“And that’s the only reason  why you’re not fired right now,” he cut you off. “I should be writing a termination letter right now, and I would be if there were real bullets in that gun.”
You huffed, crossing your arms. “They were out in the open while the unsub, who I don’t think I have to mention has been shooting people in the head, was out looking for the victim. I was trying to protect them.”
He looked at you the whole time you spoke, boring holes into your face. You didn’t even think he blinked this whole time.
His voice was still stern, but it was now a bit quieter. “Really? Are you sure this is about the safety of the victim, and not your personal relationship?”
You let out a frustrated breath, pinching the bridge of your nose. The team had recently found out about your relationship with Spencer, so there was no avoiding this question. “No,” you lied. “It’s not personal. All professional.” There was no point in lying; he’d be able to see right through you. But you couldn’t admit to your boss that you were tempted to shoot a victim because she put her hands on your boyfriend.
Hotch’s expression never changed, but you could tell he didn’t believe you. “I don’t want you out in the field for the rest of this case.” He held out his hand, and he didn’t have to say anything for you to know he was asking you to give him your gun.
You reached for your holster and placed the gun in his hand, more forcefully than you should’ve. “Can I go now?”
He started to stand up, but spoke sternly before he did. “This is a job that cannot let actions be clouded by personal feelings. Your judgment needs to be impartial and professional, and not dictated by emotions. Do I make myself clear?”
You nodded curtly, letting out a deep breath before replying, “Crystal.”
He nodded back at you, standing up and motioning towards the door. “We’ll talk more about this later.”
You walked out the door, rubbing your face with your hands, the stress from the day making your whole body tense.
You started to walk towards the exit when you heard a voice addressing you. “So, how screwed are you?”
You looked over to see Elle, who probably eavesdropped on most, if not all, of the conversation. You sighed, shaking your head. “Well, I still have a job. That’s about the only good thing that has happened today.”
She leaned on the wall, crossing her arms. “Why’d you do that? What happened?”
You buried your face in your hand, feeling the surge of anger again. You didn’t even try to hide it this time. “I went to the house because I figured Spence could use some help, or at least some company. But when I got there, that… that…” You bit your tongue, stopping yourself from calling her every bad name you could think of. “She was all over him, and if I didn’t do something she would’ve kissed him.” You sucked in a breath, feeling like tears were going to start coming if you didn’t hold your breath.
She nodded, waiting for you to finish before speaking. “And? Would it really be the end of the world if that happened? Just a little kiss?”
You crossed your arms, your nails digging into your skin. “I just… I couldn’t let it happen. She’s this gorgeous Hollywood model, actress, whatever. If she’s interested in him, why would he want to be with me?” A sob escaped your lips involuntarily as you admit what’s been in the back of your head this whole time. “And I really don’t want that to happen, because… I love him.”
“Have you told him that?” She asked, her voice light but serious.
You paused before shaking your head. Your relationship with Spencer was still relatively new, and you hadn’t exchanged “I love you”s yet, even though you felt it every time you looked at him
“I think it’s time you do, then,” she replied. “If it’s this important to you.”
You just nodded, knowing she was right. You wanted to tell him for a while now, but you were scared. Scared of your own feelings, of his potential reaction… everything. You closed your eyes, taking a deep breath. “I… have to go back to the hotel. I’m gonna take some time alone to think.”
She waved you off, nodding, and you finally walked back to your car, knowing you needed to sort this all out in your head.
You were lying down on the hotel bed, alone with your thoughts all day, and you hadn’t heard anything about the case from anybody. You hadn’t even realized how late it had gotten when you heard a soft, familiar knock on the door.
You held your breath, hoping that he would go away if you didn’t answer. You sat in darkness for a while, ignoring when he asked to come in. Finally, you heard a click in the door and you cursed silently, forgetting you had given Spencer a key to your room when you got here.
You couldn’t look at him, opting instead to look at the wall opposite him. His footsteps were slow and careful, as if he were approaching a rabid animal. “… Please,” he started, his voice quiet and meek. “Just let me explain what happened today.”
You crossed your arms, still looking away from him. You knew he was making those big, pleading eyes at you, and you wouldn’t be able to handle seeing that right now. You kept silent, but you didn’t make him leave.
He saw that as a good sign, and approached you, sitting at the edge of the other side of the bed. “Listen, nothing happened between us.” He spoke quietly, his voice level but sincere. “I didn’t know what was happening. I was panicking, trying to think of how to politely turn her down, but everything was happening so fast and I…” He trailed off, taking a deep breath. “… I messed up. I admit that. But I didn’t mean to.”
You listened to his voice, which somehow still sounded like music to your ears even though his words were filled with remorse. You just stayed still, taking everything in, not trusting yourself enough to try to respond.
He tried to move into your line of sight, standing in front of you, but you kept your head down.
“… I’m sorry,” he said finally. “I’m so sorry. You have every right to be angry with me, just…” His tone was so dejected, and you could tell he was truly pouring his heart out. “… Please, look at me.”
You took a deep breath, slowly picking your head up and meeting his eyes. He was making the exact face you expected, his big, sad eyes silently begging you to say something.
You tried to search for any words to say, but they all got caught in your throat. Your lip started to quiver as a tear finally fell from your eye. You squeezed your eyes shut, taking a shuddering breath. “I…” you started, shaking your head as if that would put all your thoughts in order. “I don’t…”
You opened your eyes to look at him again, and you could feel all your anger crumbling, disappearing all at once. Which only made it feel worse. His somber eyes made your heart ache, and you just couldn’t be the cause of them anymore. After a pause, you patted the seat next to you, and he moved to you immediately, like a puppy commanded to sit.
You took a deep breath, looking down. “… I shouldn’t have reacted the way I did, obviously. I was way over the line.” You wrung your hands together, staring at them as if they were the most interesting scenery right now. “I just, seeing you with her… I felt like all my fears were coming true. That you wanted someone else… someone better than me.” Tears started rolling down your cheeks now. “I know I’m not as pretty as her, and I thought, why would you ever want me if someone like that is within reach?” You rubbed your eyes, shaking your head. “I never thought I could feel jealousy like that, but… every bad thought I’ve ever had about myself came rushing through my head, and I thought for sure I was going to lose you.” You swallowed hard, finally looking at him again, letting the words roll off your tongue before you could take them back. “And I couldn’t bear it, because… I love you.”
You could hear his breath hitch, bracing yourself. For what? Something bad? Something good?
He looked straight into your eyes, his hand tilting your chin up towards him. “I love you too,” he spoke, as if he’d never been more sure of anything in his life. “And I would never replace you with anyone. You’ll never need to be jealous. I barely even gave her a second glance, and I only did because I had to protect her. It’s my job.” He wiped a tear off your cheek, his touch gentle and slow. “If I thought she was going to come onto me, I would’ve asked somebody else to go to the house.”
You could finally breathe again, the tears in your eyes now happy ones after hearing his words, a confession of love. You threw your arms around him, burying your face in his neck. His arms wrapped tightly around your waist, and he pressed his cheek to the top of your head. “I love you,” he repeated, his voice radiating such warmth and affection.
“I love you,” you said again, as if testing the sound it made, like tuning an instrument. It sounded better each time you said it.
You just sat there in each others’ arms for a while, neither of you speaking a word, just letting the feelings sink in. After a while, once all the tension faded, you both pulled back, looking at each other and smiling.
After another few moments, you spoke lightheartedly. “I’m really glad you feel the same way, because I definitely almost got fired over this.”
He laughed softly, slight concern in his eyes. “But you didn’t, right? I still get to see you at work every day?”
“We’ll see,” you responded. “Hotch said we have to talk again, so… I’m not out of the woods yet.”
He hugged you to his chest, a hand running through your hair. “I can vouch for you. Maybe it’ll help.”
You smiled at the affectionate touch, leaning into it. “How about you talk to him, and I just skip it altogether?”
He shook his head, a playful smile on his face. “I love you, but I can’t perform miracles.”
You stayed together the rest of the night, even sleeping in the same room even though you never did that when you were out on a case. It was like you didn’t want to be apart now that you both understood your feelings better. You felt like you could get through anything together now.
Hii, i would like to request for Jude Bellingham 🫶🏻 The match between England and Slovakia just ended sooo i was thinking maybe some little angst with reader from Slovakia (because i'm from there🫶🏻) like he would be sad if she wouldn't wear his jersey or her little mad after the match because her country lost, Thank you, have a great day 💗💗
PATRIOTIC (jude bellingham x reader)
summary : in which y/n is a true patriot to her country
face claim : no-one exact
notes : I LOVE THIS IDEA!!!! given the fact im also slovak (jedine vsž !!!). this match was a traumatic experience tbh and i was on the edge of my seat (literally) while watching.. i feel like jude is doing everything to go against my silly ahh.. first joining the rival (madrid) and now knocking out my country from the euros man.. since slovakia is gone, time to cheer for spain and netherlands #vamosandstuff
pairings : jude bellingham x slovak!reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
y/n, long time girlfriend of jude bellingham, could be considered a patriot when it came to sports. on an average day, you could say she hated slovakia. the politicians were horrid, inflation was growing by the week, dumb decisions made by the parliament. but when there was an international tournament, like the hockey world championship or the euros, her national pride was next level. she would proudly wear her jersey with the double cross and the red, white and blue colors and cheer for slovakia like her life depended on it.
this year, the euros were particularly exciting. slovakia had managed to advance to the round of sixteen after a tense tie with romania. the whole country was buzzing with anticipation. y/n, however, had a unique point of view on all of this. she was dating jude bellingham, the english youngster, and their teams were about to face off.
the atmosphere in the stadium was wild. y/n sat in her seat, heart pounding, wearing her slovakia jersey with her name on the back. jude knew she was here, but he didn’t know she’d be wearing that jersey. until now, hes only seen her wear an england jersey with a big number 10 on the back while he was playing. the round of sixteen had brought slovakia against england, and the tension was kinda scary.
the game started off intensely. slovakia's forward, ivan schranz, scored a goal in the 25th minute, sending the slovak fans into a frenzy. you could hear that "SLOVENSKOOOO" in your bones. y/n couldn't help but join in on the celebrations, her heart filling with pride. she glanced at jude on the field, knowing how badly he wanted to advance, but in that moment, all she wanted was for slovakia to beat england.
as the minutes ticked by, the match felt like it was dragging. england pressed hard, but slovakia's defense held strong. y/n's anxiety grew with each passing second. she knew jude was frustrated, but she also knew he was a relentless player.
then, in the 95th minute, jude did the unthinkable. he scored a stunning bicycle kick, tying the game. y/n’s heart sank. she wanted to jump up and celebrate his incredible goal, but the reality of what it meant for slovakia hit her hard. the game was now tied, and the prospect of overtime sneaked ominously.
another thing that kind of pissed y/n off was the way jude celebrated. i mean, come on. you scored against your girlfriend's national team, and that's how you celebrate? of course, it's a very passionate game, but it still hurt, obviously.
overtime began, and y/n's fear became reality. just 50 seconds in, harry kane scored, putting england ahead. slovakia struggled to find an equalizer, and as the final whistle blew, y/n felt a mix of anger, disappointment, and sadness. slovakia's journey in the euros was over, and it was mainly because of the man she loved.
after the match, jude came looking for y/n, a smile on his face. "did you see my goal?" he asked, clearly excited.
y/n, still wearing her slovakia jersey, felt a surge of annoyance. "yeah, i saw it," she replied curtly. jude's smile faded as he noticed her tone.
"what's wrong?" he asked, genuinely confused.
"jude, read the damn room," y/n muttered, turning away. she didn't want to start an argument here, not now.
jude sighed, sensing her mood. "i’m sorry, baby. i know you wanted slovakia to win."
"of course i did? but it's not just that," she said, her voice softening slightly. "let's just drop it for now."
"alright then.." jude reluctantly agreed and went out to dinner with his teammates to celebrate. y/n stayed behind in their hotel room, her mind racing. she knew she was being irrational, but the mix of emotions was overwhelming. how could she be happy for jude when her own team had been eliminated?
hours passed, and when jude returned, the tension in the room was thick. y/n's frustration had only grown. jude, sensing the impending argument, he tried to lighten the mood. "you know, you looked cute in that slovakia jersey," he teased.
y/n glared at him. "really, jude? that's what you want to talk about right now?"
jude's expression hardened. "what's your problem, y/n? i played my heart out there."
"my problem?" y/n snapped. "my problem is that you ruined our chance. you ghosted the whole match and then suddenly scored a stinker in added time."
jude's eyes narrowed. "i was doing my job, y/n. i’m supposed to score goals, remember? and why the hell were you wearing that jersey anyway? do you have any idea how that made me feel?"
"oh, so now it's about your feelings?" y/n shot back. "you think it’s easy for me? watching you celebrate while my team gets eliminated?"
"and you think it was easy for me?" jude retorted. "seeing you cheer for the other team? i thought you’d at least be supportive of me, no matter what."
"other team?? you mean my team??? also, what do you mean by supportive?" y/n scoffed. "how can i support you when you’re one of the main reasons we lost? i know it’s just a game, jude, but it still hurts."
"you’re being ridiculous," jude said, his voice rising. "this isn’t just about the game, is it?"
"of course it is! what are you on about?" y/n replied, tears of frustration welling up in her eyes.
jude ran a hand through his hair, clearly exasperated. "you’re mad at me for doing my job? for helping my team? you knew what this was from the start."
"it's not just about that! it's the way you celebrated, like you didn’t care about what it meant to me!" y/n shot back, her voice breaking. "you scored a goal and acted like you won the fucking world cup. did you even think about how i felt?"
jude’s face softened slightly, but he was still visibly upset. "i’m a footballer, y/n. scoring goals is what i do. it’s my passion, my career. i can’t just switch that off because of you."
"i’m not asking you to switch it off," she said, wiping her eyes. "i’m asking you to be considerate. to think about what it means for me and my country."
jude sighed deeply, frustration giving way to a partial understanding. "i get that, but you need to understand my side too. i can’t not play my best because of our relationship. it’s unfair to my teammates, to the fans."
"i didn’t mean to hurt you," jude said quietly. "i was caught up in the moment. i’m sorry if it came off wrong."
jude stared at her, his anger slowly giving way to realization. "y/n, i never wanted you to feel like that," he said, his tone softening. "i love you, and i cannot imagine you not supporting me from the sidelines."
y/n looked into his eyes, seeing the sincerity there. "okay. but next time, maybe don’t celebrate like you just scored in the finals when you score against us."
jude chuckled softly, pulling her into a hug. "deal. and maybe next time, wear my jersey instead of yours?"
she laughed, the tension finally breaking. "we’ll see about that."
as they held each other, y/n felt the weight of the argument lifting, replaced by a renewed sense of understanding and love. they might come from different worlds, but they were determined to make it work, no matter the challenges.
Part 2
Y/n dropped into a new universe, barely landing on her feet. She scrambled to find balance as the portal above her closed. “What the fuck?” Y/n wiped off her hands as she looked around the unfamiliar area.
“Are you lost dekta?” Y/n spun around at the sound of her voice. A smile plastered on Y/n’s face when she saw Wanda. She took a couple of steps when she felt something was different with the girl in front of her. “Wanda?”
The brunette chuckled at the obvious confusion. “It’s me dekta.” Y/n still grew apprehensive. She looked around the location she was in. They were on a simple farm surrounded by acres of grape trees. There was a barn and home in the distance and sheep and cows grazed the plain. “I don’t think you’re my Wanda though,” Y/n said as kindly as possible. It was scary to be in a new world without a clue as to how they operate. Even though Y/n knew that the woman in front of her wasn’t exactly her Wanda, it still gave her some type of peace knowing there was a version of her here.
“And you’re not my Y/n.” Y/n’s nerves eased with the comment as Wanda broke the distance between them. “So let’s get you back to my home and figure out how this happened.”
Tumblr media
“Make yourself at home.” Wanda took off her dirty boots at the front and walked to the kitchen. She took the kettle out from the drawer and filled it with water. “I’ll make you some hot chocolate. Is that your favorite in your world?”
“It is!” Y/n yelled from the front of the house. She took off her shoes and jacket, hoping to not get the house dirty. The entrance of the house led them into a decent-sized living room filled with various decorations and plants.
Y/n didn’t mean to snoop but she couldn’t help but look at all the photos framed on the wall and tables. The first photo that caught her eye was a picture of young Wanda and Pietro back in what Y/n could guess was their hometown. She picked it up and analyzed it in detail.
“I miss him,” Y/n whispered to herself. Wanda noticed this as she walked in with two cups of hot chocolate. “We were only five in that photo. I think we went to the zoo that day. Probably one of our better pictures when we were younger. Everything else is either him or me or the both of us crying.”
“If you don’t mind me asking,” Wanda nodded for approval, “is your Pietro still alive?” Wanda could sense this was a sensitive subject and gave Y/n one of the cups while directing her to the couch.
“Yes, my Pietro is still alive. Currently, he’s away on work.” Y/n gave a small smile, the feeling of missing Pietro grew inside. “I’m happy to hear that.” Y/n took a small sip of her hot chocolate, making sure not to spill the hot drink on herself.
“So your Y/n likes hot chocolate?” Wanda smiled in agreement. “Yes, my Y/n does like hot chocolate. She’s the only reason I have some. I’m just glad that part of her is with you as well. I hope it finds you comfort though because it must be scary to be in a completely different universe.”
“Well,” Y/n thought maybe lying would help ease her anxiety, but the presence of Wanda, even though it wasn’t necessarily her Wanda, made her want to tell the truth, “it is scary. I’m just hoping they find me. But you have been pretty calm for this whole ‘I managed to drop on your farm out of all the locations in this universe’ thing.”
“Your humor appears to be the same no matter the universe,” Wanda playfully said. “But the reason I’m not freaking out is because in this universe, I’m aware of my other counterparts. Luckily enough, you dropped into a universe where I have my powers.” Wanda proceeded to show off her magic, covering Y/n in red swirls momentarily.
“Are you able to drop me back home?” Wanda politely smiled, setting her cup down on the table nearby. “I’m sorry dekta. I unfortunately don’t have that type of power as of yet.”
Y/n sighed in defeat, her anxiety coming back with worried thoughts. Wanda reached out and grabbed Y/n’s hand in a comforting manner. Even in different universes, Wanda Maximoff cared for Y/n Y/l/n. This was a simple fact that would not change. “However, your Wanda is currently on the hunt for you.”
“She is?” Y/n placed her cup down, her hand still interlaced with Wanda’s. “The rules of the universe don’t allow any conversation to happen between each other but we can still feel each other. So when you dropped into my world, I could feel the slight imbalance. But, you just happen to be dating one of the most powerful people in the universe.” Y/n blushed at the compliment, already knowing that she was lucky to even date Wanda in the first place.
“And the perk of dating powerful people is that we can feel other things in different universes. Right now, I can feel her dropping into other universes, trying her best to find you.”
“What if she can’t find me?” Y/n pouted. Wanda smiled even more. It was refreshing to see that their love expanded beyond her world. Wanda cupped Y/n’s cheek with her free hand, “This is something I will share only with you.” Listening intently, “You and your Wanda have a special connection. Think of it as a tether. Right now, she’s tugging on that tether hoping that if she continues to pull on it, it will lead back to you. No amount of magic, power, or science can cause this tether to break. It might be a little tangled with how many universes you might’ve accidentally gone through, but she will reach you in time.”
“So believe me when I say this dekta, Wanda will always find you.” Wanda kissed Y/n’s forehead and proceeded to get up. “In the meantime, my Y/n is away on a mission. You’re free to stay here with me until all of this gets sorted out.”
Wanda walked back to the front of the house, putting her shoes back on. “Is there anything I can do to help out while I wait?”
“Wanna help me with the goats?”
Tumblr media
After a long day of work, Wanda and Y/n lay in the hammock near the campfire, admiring the stars that the night offered. “When I looked at your photos, I noticed none of them were of just you and I, how come?”
Wanda blushed at the directness and was thankful that it was nighttime. “You see, my Y/n and I aren’t dating yet.” Y/n faced Wanda with a ridiculous look. “Are you serious? How come I haven’t confessed? If there’s a world where there’s a you and an I, then we must be together.”
“I’m not sure. We bought this farm together to get away from the city and have some peace time before they spring our next mission on us. Even then, she doesn’t seem to have the courage to confess.” Wanda sighed, her patience was running thin but she knew it was worth the wait.
“Do you need me to get myself together?” Wanda laughed at the offer, clearly imagining two Y/n’s talking to each other. “I’ll probably be the one to have to confess first if she doesn’t do it soon.”
“Just to be sure, does the Y/n here like you like that?”
“Oh, I’m more than positive that my Y/n likes me back,” Wanda cockily states.
“What makes you so certain? Back then, it took me forever to confirm that my Wanda even liked me.”
“Cause within our tethers, I can feel her. I’ve only ever felt her. The universe wouldn’t be so cruel to tie me to her if she didn’t feel the same way.” There was more to the truth than Wanda could let on, because in every universe, Y/n and Wanda always fall in love with each other, no matter the circumstances, no matter the era, and no matter the time.
“I didn’t know the universe could be kind like that.”
They continued to star watch when a red portal in the sky opened up and out came two figures. One landed roughly as the other descended slowly onto the ground. Y/n and Wanda got up from their hammock and walked towards them.
“Wanda?” Y/n yelled out in the distance, hoping it was them and not an alien invasion. “Y/n?!” Wanda came rushing into Y/n’s arm, feeling her worries slip away as she finally was with her again. “I thought I lost you,” Wanda stated with worry. Today had been a long day for her and America Chavez. Hopping from universe to universe was hard, especially with a young teen that has no clue how to control her powers.
“You could never lose me,” Y/n stated confidently. Wanda pulled back from the hug and sealed a kiss, one that made both of their knees weak and minds numb with love. Pulling away slowly, pressing their foreheads against each other, Wanda said, “Let's go home dekta.”
Y/n nodded in agreement and intertwined their hands. They walked back to the portal but not before Y/n waved goodbye to this universe’s Wanda. “I hope she confesses soon!”
Wanda smiled back in return and waved. Telepathically, Wanda said, “Thank you for taking care of my Y/n.”
“Anytime, Wanda.”
ℂ𝕙𝕒𝕡𝕥𝕖𝕣 𝕥𝕨𝕠: Why is she here?
Word count: 3832
Summary: In this chapter, Felix anxiously prepares for Y/N, their new pack member, to arrive at their home. Despite Chan’s announcement generating excitement, some pack members, especially Hyunjin and Seungmin, are skeptical. Felix reassures Y/N that the pack is eager to meet her, even though he senses underlying tension. Upon arrival, Y/N is greeted warmly by Minho and Han, which helps ease her anxiety. Felix explains the pack’s bond, which allows them to communicate and sense each other’s emotions. Though apprehensive about the bond, Y/N finds comfort in Felix’s support. During dinner, the atmosphere turns tense when Hyunjin and Seungmin express disapproval of Y/N’s inclusion, leading to a confrontation. Upset and overwhelmed, Y/N has a panic attack. Felix comforts her, helping her calm down and feel more at ease despite the rocky start.
It had been about 15 minutes when Felix, the only person awake at the moment, noticed that they were approaching the house. His nerves grew as he worried that the boys wouldn't like her. The group chat began to buzz when Chan announced the new member of the pack. As usual, everyone except Han was skeptical about the situation, but they were also buzzing with excitement.
"If you all are sure about it, then I am," Changbin said through the bond for everyone to hear.
"I'm with Changbin. I trust you guys, so if you're so sure about it, then let's see where this takes us," Minho adds to the conversation.
Sometimes, Felix wondered why they even needed to text each other when they had a bond and could communicate through it. However, Chan said that texting was important for their human connection and that they needed to learn social skills, which was a fair point after all. Chan knew best.
"Thank you Mingi," Felix politely said as they stopped in front of the house. He turned to Y/n and gently pushed her hair away from her face, revealing a small beauty mark that resembled Hyunjin's.
"Y/n, we're here," Felix murmured softly, gently shaking her awake. She blinked, taking in the imposing structure of the house before them. The sight of it made her heart race. Was this really happening? Was this grand building about to become her new home? Her mind swirled with worries—what if the pack didn't accept her? What if she made a mistake? What if—
"Hey, stop overthinking," Felix said, trying to sound reassuring. "I'm nervous too, but believe me, they're excited to meet you. I can feel it through the bond." It wasn't entirely true—Felix did sense the excitement the pack was feeling through the bond, but he was also acutely aware of the frustrations and anger simmering beneath the surface, which churned his stomach.
He couldn't ignore the undercurrent of tension from Hyunjin and Seungmin. It hurt to think that two members of the pack, were already shutting her down with such negative feelings toward her when they barely knew. He understood their protective instincts and where they were coming from—they had always been like this ever since... well, ever since he had left. Felix knew that their feelings came from a place of deep loyalty and protectiveness for their home and pack.
"Really?" she asked, a wave of relief washing over her as his reassuring words eased her anxiety. She felt a surge of confidence and was finally able to take a deep breath. "Wow," she murmured, her eyes widening as she took in the grandeur of the building. "You all live here?"
"Yeah, it's amazing, right?" Felix replied with a grin. "Minho-hyung put so much effort into building it. He wanted it to be nestled by the forest, and Chan, being all love-struck, was totally on board. Now we can go hunting, fishing, or just let our wolves roam whenever we want." As they stepped inside, Y/N was greeted by a jumble of shoes at the entrance and a medley of sweet scents that instantly made her omega purr with contentment.
"I'm home!" Felix called out cheerfully as he stepped through the door. "Leave your shoes here," he instructed, and Y/N followed his lead, slipping off her shoes.
"Finally, Lix! Dinner is ready! Go wash up and—oh, hello! Who's your new friend, Lixie?" A strikingly handsome man appeared, his face beaming with a radiant smile. He wore an apron smeared with flour, which made Y/n chuckle.
"Minho-hyung!" Felix groaned in mock exasperation as he tiptoed to wipe the flour off Minho's face. "I told you to act natural, but you're terrible at it." He planted a quick kiss on Minho's lips before turning back to Y/N, who was smiling warmly at the scene.
"Okay, okay, I know," Minho said with a playful roll of his eyes. "But how was I supposed to act natural when you texted the group screaming that you'd found the last soulmate?" He huffed dramatically, still teasing Felix as he continued to fuss with his apron.
"Yeah, I didn't quite think that through..." Felix mumbled, rubbing the back of his neck. "Anyway, Y/N, this is Minho—or Minnie, or babe, or baby, or—"
"Okay, okay, I think she gets the point, Felix!" Minho interrupted with a groan, ruffling Felix's hair affectionately. He turned to Y/N with a gentle smile, as if she were the most delicate thing in the world. "Hey there," he said softly, "It's really nice to meet you. You're absolutely beautiful."
Y/N blushed deeply, her cheeks turning a soft pink as her omega purred in delight at the warm welcome. "T-thank you, Beta," she responded shyly, her voice trembling with emotion. "It's nice to meet you too, Minho. You smell really nice, and you're so pretty." She gazed up at him through her long lashes, and Minho's heart nearly burst with happiness.
"Thank you," Minho said warmly, his eyes shining. "I made a big meal to welcome you to the pack. Why don't you wash up with Felix and then come join us? I'm sure you're starving." As if on cue, her stomach rumbled, drawn by the tantalizing aroma of the food cooking in the kitchen. She nodded, her face flushing with embarrassment.
"Thank you, it really means a lot," Y/N said, bowing slightly. Before she could straighten up, Felix had already tugged her past Minho and into the living room.
"Oh my God, I need to give you a tour of the house," Felix said with a chuckle, "but first, you might want to brace yourself."
"What do you mean, Felix—" Y/N started, but her question was cut off as Felix suddenly called out, "Han! Guess who's here!"
Confused, Y/N barely had time to react before she heard rapid footsteps descending the stairs, accompanied by a fresh, fruity scent—cherries and sweet lemon.
"I'm coming, I'm coming, I'm coming, I'm coming!" chanted a brown-haired boy as he flew down the stairs, nearly tripping over himself. Without hesitation, he leaped into Y/N's arms, snuggling against her as if she were his long-lost friend. "I'm here!" he cheered, burrowing into her embrace like an exuberant puppy. Y/N giggled, trying to keep her balance as she held the enthusiastic boy.
His large, brown eyes and round cheeks made her coo at his cuteness, reminiscent of a fluffy squirrel. He pulled back slightly to touch her face. "So pretty," he whispered in awe.
"Told you," Felix said with a grin, watching the scene unfold. Han then threw his arms around Felix in a tight hug, showering his face with kisses. "Felix, you did it! You found the last piece! She's so... SHE'S SO..."
"Breathtaking!" a deep voice boomed from the corner. Everyone turned to see a muscular, imposing figure stepping into the room, his presence commanding immediate attention.
"Binnie! Hey! Come say hi to Y/N!" Felix called, waving enthusiastically. Y/N's heart skipped a beat as she recognized the strong scent of mint and rainy forest emanating from the approaching figure. An alpha. Though she wasn't terrified, she couldn't shake off the lingering trauma from her past. Her instincts made her take a hesitant step back behind Felix, causing a flash of hurt to cross Felix's face.
"Hey, he won't hurt you," Felix said softly, his voice tinged with concern. "This is Changbin, remember? I told you about him. I know alphas can be intimidating, but I promise you he's really nice. I'll be right here with you." He squeezed her hand reassuringly.
Y/N nodded slowly, forcing a smile as she extended a hand towards Changbin. "H-hey, Binnie. It's nice to meet you," she said quietly.
Changbin's face lit up with a relieved smile as he took her hand gently and kissed it. "Hey there, little one. It's nice to meet you too. Welcome to the pack. I hope my scent doesn't trouble you," he said softly.
"No, it won't," Y/N replied, tracing her fingers over the spot he had kissed. "I just need some time to get used to it, Changbin. But judging by how my omega is reacting, she really likes you." She looked into his eyes earnestly. "Please be patient with me?"
"Of course, love. Just know that you're one of us now, and no alpha will ever lay a hand on you," Changbin said, his hand gently resting on her chin as he rubbed his thumb across her cheeks, which were now flushed with a rosy hue.
"Ugh, seriously?" Minho's voice came from the kitchen door, dripping with mock disgust. "There are people around! And didn't I tell you two to wash up? Dinner's going to get cold!" The boys groaned in unison as Felix quickly pulled Y/N away, leading her up the stairs.
"Sorry about that," Felix said, a bit flustered as he led her through a maze of corridors. "They get a little clingy when they meet new people."
"It's okay," Y/N reassured him with a small smile. "They seem really nice. Where are the rest?"
Felix stopped in front of a door painted blue with his name on it. "Just a sec. I'll check with I.N." Instead of pulling out a phone or walking to I.N's room, Felix closed his eyes, focusing intently. After a moment, he exhaled and said, "He's in the downstairs gym but he'll be up soon."
Y/N looked at him, intrigued. "How did you...?"
Right..she didn't know about the telepathy. "We can communicate through the bond," Felix explained as he sat down on the bed, removing his sweater. "Have you heard of it?"
"Bond? No, I don't know what that is," she admitted, shaking her head.
"Well," Felix patted the bed beside him, inviting her to sit, "when we became a pack, Channie hyung taught us how to use the bond. It's a way we can communicate and feel each other's emotions. We can even see what someone else is seeing sometimes. It's a bit complicated and might seem strange at first, especially when he marks you. It's a bit embarrassing because we can see, hear, and feel everything you do."
As Felix spoke, Y/N's eyes widened in apprehension. "That sounds... intense."
"Yeah, it can be overwhelming at first," Felix said with a comforting smile. "But you'll get used to it. And remember, it's all about being connected and supporting each other."
"Don't worry, it's not scary at all," Felix said, waving his hands as if to reassure her. He pressed a quick kiss to her cheek, making her blink in surprise. The warmth of the gesture was comforting, and despite her initial shock, she couldn't help but feel a flutter inside. After all, he was undeniably attractive. "Would you like to shower first?" he asked, hoping to steer the conversation away from the more overwhelming aspects of their pack's secrets. Felix knew Chan could explain things in a way that would be less daunting for her. After all, he'd once been the new omega himself.
"Yes, please. But I don't have any clothes," she said, glancing down at her old maid's outfit with a frown.
"No problem," Felix said with an encouraging smile. He reached into his wardrobe and pulled out a towel. "I can get you one of my pajamas. Just go ahead." He gently nudged her toward the bathroom, then turned on the water for her. "This is how you turn on the cold water, and this is how you turn on the hot water," he explained, guiding her step by step. She nodded, memorizing each instruction as she absorbed the information.
"Um, Felix?" she said softly, her voice carrying a note of uncertainty.
"Yeah?"
"Thank you for everything, really. You're such an angel. I don't know how I could ever repay you," she said, her gaze dropping to the floor as she thought about her uncertain future—probably facing starvation in a dungeon somewhere.
"You don't have to thank me, my love. That's what soulmates are for," Felix said, nuzzling her cheek gently. His touch elicited a soft purr and a contented whine from her omega. "But I do have one request," he added shyly.
""What is it? I'm open to anything," she said quickly, snapping out of her trance and looking up at him.
"C—can you remove your patches?" Felix asked, his voice tinged with frustration. "My omega keeps whining because we can't smell you." His annoyance was directed more at his own omega's insistence than at her. Her eyes widened, and she instinctively placed her hands on her glands, a look of embarrassment crossing her face.
"I—Felix, I wish I could, but... my scent is rotting right now—"
"What? Why?" Felix's concern was evident as he interrupted, his face falling as realization dawned on him. "That only happens when you're... oh." His whisper was filled with regret.
"Yeah," she said softly. "But I promise I'll remove them once I'm feeling better. Please?"
"Of course," Felix said, his voice softening. "I'll get more patches for you." He quickly left the room, and Y/n let out a sigh of relief as she closed the door behind him.
She stepped into the shower, finally peeling off the itchy patches. The hot water felt soothing against her skin, easing some of her tension. As she let the water cascade over her, she traced her fingers over the bruises covering her body—old and new, a mix of purples, blues, and yellows. She winced as her fingers brushed against one particularly sore spot, her mind drifting back to the moment she'd sustained it. The pain was a stark reminder of the trials she'd endured
🍄🌻🥞🌿
"Here you go," Felix said softly, handing her a box of patches and a steaming cup of tea. "This should help with the um... subdrop. Minho works with medicine and he said it might clear up the rotting scent, though it won't do much for how you're feeling," he explained delicately. "I hope it's okay that I told him..."
"It's okay, Lixie. Thank you." She accepted the tea gratefully, taking a soothing sip as Felix slipped into his pajamas. He then gently began braiding her hair, his touch light and comforting. "I.N is here," he whispered, just as a knock resonated through the room. Felix's face lit up with a smile as he opened the door, only to be enveloped in a warm hug. The alpha then placed a tender kiss on Felix's lips before stepping into the room, his grin bright and welcoming.
"Y/n, this is Innie," Felix said, his voice filled with affection. "He's the youngest alpha and the youngest of the pack. He's really sweet." Felix ruffled Innie's hair playfully before settling back down beside Y/n, who offered a shy wave.
"It's nice to meet you, Alpha," she said, bowing slightly as she took in his scent of chocolate and peppermint, which filled the room with a comforting aroma.
"Ah, I see," Innie cooed, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "So, they were calling you two the 'sunshine twins.'" He smiled warmly at them both.
"Innie! Stop it," Felix whined, his cheeks flushing a deep red as he covered his face.
"Yah! Stop being so cute!" Innie teased, his voice filled with warmth. "It's so nice to meet you, Y/n. Let's head downstairs to eat before Minho goes mad. Chan just got back from the company. Come on," he said, extending his hand.
Y/n glanced at Felix for reassurance, who nodded encouragingly. She took Innie's hand and then reached for Felix's, the three of them making their way downstairs together. They entered the dining area where all eight packmates were seated, patiently waiting. Y/n offered a quick bow and a wave before sitting next to Felix, feeling a mix of nervousness and excitement as she joined her new packmates for the meal.
"So, Y/n, I trust you've met everyone?" Chan's voice filled the room, drawing everyone's attention to her. She looked around and replied, "No, Alpha. I've met 6 out of the 8."
The room was rich with various scents, each contributing to an overall feeling of safety and sweetness, though there was a faint, sour note in the mix.
"She's really sweet, Hyung. She got along just fine with I.N and Changbin," Felix said, his pride evident as he spoke. Chan nodded in approval before taking another bite of his meal.
"That's good to hear. If you need anything, Y/n, don't hesitate to let me know or just talk to Felix or Han," Chan offered her a polite smile. "I'd like to have a chat with you after dinner, if that's alright."
"I'm perfectly okay with that, Oppa," she replied quickly, eager to show her willingness to integrate.
"Alright, enough talk. Welcome to the pack, little one!" Leeknow exclaimed, giving her a friendly ruffle of her hair and adding more meat to her plate. The room erupted in cheerful applause, but Y/n couldn't help noticing the two betas sitting together, casting her sharp, disapproving glances.
One started to speak up but whas quickly shut down by Chan. "Hyung, are you sure—"
"Not now, Hyunjin. Don't ruin the night," Chan cut off the blonde boy, who was seated next to him. Y/N hadn't met either of them yet, nor the other guy with brown hair and blonde streaks. She could tell they were betas and, judging by their expressions, they weren't thrilled about her presence.
Her ears twitched as she overheard snippets of the conversation, but her attention was soon captured by Han, who cheerfully linked their hands together, offering her a warm smile.
"We should go shopping tomorrow, Y/nnie!" Han exclaimed, running his fingers through her long hair with a bright smile. "Felix and I will take you."
"That's exactly what I was thinking, Han!" Felix chimed in enthusiastically from beside her. "Great minds think alike," he added with a boastful grin.
"I—I would love that, but I don't have any money," she hesitated, feeling a bit self-conscious.
"Don't worry about that!" Han waved off her concern with a playful flick of his hand. "That's why we have Chan and Changbin's credit cards. We never go broke. So stop pouting!"
Despite Han's cheerful reassurance, Y/n couldn't shake off the pang of guilt. "I couldn't— I mean, you guys have already welcomed me into your home. I honestly couldn't impose."
"Y/n, you're part of the pack now," Han insisted with a grin. "You don't have a choice. Let us love you and treat you right! Pretty pleaseee?"
"They won't stop until you say yes," Changbin added with a chuckle, startling Y/n as she hadn't realized he was listening. His presence was subtle but his voice carried well, especially against Han's enthusiastic chatter. "So just agree."
"Fine, we can go shopping, Han—"
"And also get nesting supplies—"
"And room decor," Felix interjected with a wink.
Y/n couldn't help but smile at their excitement, feeling a bit overwhelmed but also touched by their eagerness to include her.
"Yeah, you're right," Han continued, his eyes gleaming with excitement. "We can also get her hair and nails done—"
Y/n glanced back and forth between Han and Felix as they eagerly planned out the next day. She couldn't help but smile at their enthusiasm and care, touched by their efforts to make her feel at home. Her gaze drifted back to her plate, but her attention was soon drawn when her name was called from the other end of the table.
"Yes, Oppa?" she responded, looking up at Leeknow.
"I need to know your dietary requirements so I don't accidentally cook something that might make you sick," Leeknow said with a friendly smile.
"Oh, Hyung! You didn't ask us for our dietary requirements," I.N whined from his seat across the table.
"Yeah, well, that's because I don't need to worry about you lot," Leeknow retorted with a snicker. "You guys eat like a small army!"
"Meanie," I.N muttered, giving Leeknow a mock glare.
The sudden loud thump of Hyunjins's fist hitting the table made Y/N flinch. Instinctively, she nuzzled into Felix, seeking comfort from the commotion. Felix wrapped an arm around her, offering a reassuring squeeze as he gave her a warm, comforting smile.
"Hyunjin, don't—"
"No, Chan! You're acting like she's the Luna or something. She's messing up our dynamics!" Hyunjin's voice was sharp, cutting through the room. Every eye turned to him in shock, except for the beta, who merely looked bored.
"You didn't even consult us about adding someone new to the pack," Hyunjin continued, his frustration palpable.
"Hyunjin, stop it! We were always meant to be nine, not eight," Changbin growled, his scent growing increasingly sour. Felix's grip on Y/n tightened, his own scent turning bitter.
"Did you really have to do this in front of her?" Leeknow's voice was a low hiss, his irritation evident.
"He's right, Hyung. You can't just expect us to accept a random, lawless omega—"
"Seungmin, that's harsh! Why would you say something like that?" Han's voice rose in defense, standing up to protect Y/n.
"I-I can leave," Y/n whispered, barely audible. Tears welled up in her eyes as she choked on her words, her heart sinking. She had feared this moment, and now it felt like her worst fears were coming true.
"Felix, take Y/n to the living room. I'll be there in a minute," Chan ordered, his tone icy as he glared at the two betas who had soured the evening.
Without another word, Felix lifted Y/n from her seat and carried her down the hall. As they left, the last thing she heard was Hyunjin's bitter remark: "You're trusting someone we don't even know with Felix? That's absolute bullshit."
They entered a large room with dim lighting, cozy couches, and blankets scattered around. A massive flat-screen TV was mounted on the wall, and a bar was set up in the corner. Her knees gave out, and she sank onto a couch, curling up into herself. Quiet sniffles escaped her as she struggled to hold back her tears, overwhelmed by the sharp sting of rejection.
"Hey... it's okay. No need to cry. I'm sorry—"
"Please don't..." Y/n whispered, her voice barely more than a breath. Her fingers trembled as she picked at the frayed edges of her hoodie, her panic escalating into a storm that churned in her chest. Every breath felt shallow and tight, her heartbeat a frantic drum in her ears. The room seemed to close in around her, a suffocating presence of her fears and insecurities. She felt an overwhelming wave of shame and self-loathing crash over her, thoughts spiraling in a dark vortex of self-doubt. No one would want a ruined omega. They were dirty, used, and unworthy—
"Breathe, Y/n. Breathe for me, please. You're panicking," Felix's voice cut through the storm. His eyes, full of concern, locked onto hers, grounding her in the chaos. "You don't have to talk, but you need to try and calm down, okay?"
She turned away, her breathing ragged and uneven, but his hands gently guided her into a hug. The warmth of his embrace enveloped her, his scent—a soothing blend of cedar and honey—washing over her in waves. "I'm right here. No one is going to hurt you. Not while I'm here. Those two are just being pricks. I promise, we all want you here..."
As Felix's scent enveloped her, her frantic thoughts began to blur, the edge of her anxiety softening. Her body felt like it was melting into his embrace, every tense muscle loosening under his tender care. "There we go... nice and easy," he whispered, his voice a soft, reassuring murmur. He continued to coo softly, his gentle presence a balm to her frayed nerves, slowly pulling her back from the precipice of her panic.
Could I have some headcanons where Tenya, Tamaki, and Mirio meet their SOs family and discover they're the unfavorite compared to their sister?
Maybe reader's sister even tries to steal their boyfriend by flirting with him (not that it works, but still). Regardless, reader can't help but expect them to fall in love with her.
[ This sounds kind of cute, just enough drama to be spicy. I hope I did your request justice! ]
Tumblr media
Despite your insistence not to, Tenya took great pride in meeting your family and ensured that he was dressed in proper attire when the day came. In addition, he thought it best to bring a gift as it was traditional to present a gift to the hosts when visiting their home.
It was immediately apparent that some form of favoritism was present when he finally met your family, more specifically he noticed that your parents seemed to have a lack of attention when it came to you or just ignored you in favor of praising or speaking positively about your sister who they seemed to oddly want him to talk to.
"Pardon, but is this truly the ideal setup?" He questioned, finding it odd as to why your parents were situating you away from him during dinner and closer to your sister who made him visibly uncomfortable when she grazed her hand along his and attempted to engage in what he assumed was flirtatious conversation.
"I am honored to be attending such a prestigious school as Yuuei! Y/n has quite excelled in our training exercises and-" It was apparent that your parents disregarded your accomplishments in contrast with your sister's when they interrupted him and turned the attention on her, explaining how her academic achievements surpassed yours.
"May I ask why there is such favoritism between your children!?" Tenya was normally well-mannered, and he would rarely talk cruelly about another's family. But the hints he had been receiving from the evening with your parents were more than enough for him to speak his mind.
"Apologies, perhaps that was not the best method to address the issues with your family," he stated after having been thrown out the front door of your parent's house, but he simply could not help himself. His heart ached for you, and he wanted to right the injustice he saw. But perhaps familial matters were best left alone.
Tumblr media
"W-what if I'm not…g-good enough or…t-they try to separate us a-and…" Tamaki felt a surge of uncertainty and anxiety when you mentioned the idea of him finally meeting your family. Although his concerns of making a good impression on them didn't faze you considering your family was…biased when it came to you.
"Oh h-hello!" It was clear his nerves were still bothering him when face-to-face with your family. They seemed polite but also asked him all sorts of questions he didn't want to answer. He also noticed that they ignored you entirely which he found odd, but he didn't want to assume anything just yet.
"Mm…" he grew increasingly uncomfortable whenever you left the room, and your sister would take your spot, leaning unusually close to him, and touching him which caused him to tremble in disgust. You had expected Tamaki to fall to her advances, but that wasn't the case. Even if he was too shy to say anything, he knew he would be a fool to fall for anyone else but you.
As the day with your family progresses, he begins to pick up more subtle hints that your family prioritizes your sister over you. It was in the way they ignored you, and acted as though you were invisible even when you were standing in front of them. That was a feeling he was familiar with, and he knew he wouldn't stand for people treating you like that for long.
"I-is this how your family always treats you?" He asked when the two of you finally had a moment alone together, and although you didn't want him to worry or think less of your family. You did confide in him that there was always favoritism for your sister and while he didn't like this, he made the choice to remain civil for the remainder of the visit.
He offered you silent comfort and tried to be as supportive as he could. He disagreed with how your family treated you, but he also knew that it was best to get along with them because, at any moment, they could take you away from him. That wasn't something he wanted and as uncomfortable as he was at your family's house, he'd be even more uncomfortable if he didn't have you by his side.
Tumblr media
Mirio was enthusiastic to meet your family and entered your parents’ home with a bright smile. Instead of a warm welcome, however, he was greeted with a cold one. Yes, your parents greeted him after a long moment of silence, but he noticed they said nothing to you. Initially, he brushed this off, after all, families were weird.
He picked up the favoritism your parents showed toward your sister quickly, especially when all they talked about seemed to be her. Her accomplishments, her outstanding deeds. "Heh, well you know Y/n's done some pretty cool stuff too!" He said, however, his words were greeted with silence before the conversation yet again turned on your sister.
You knew that Mirio's sense of humor was…subjective, most of the time his jokes fell flat, and your parents were no exception. They didn't find his jokes funny, your sister, however, did. You could tell she was faking it. She'd give an overexaggerated laugh and scoot closer to Mirio before touching his hand or arm, and playfully telling him he was so funny.
You hadn't talked about your family much before he insisted on meeting them, but as the visit progressed, he noticed the uneasy tension between you and them. Regardless, he tried his best to get along with them despite his urges to directly address the issue he could so painfully see.
When your sister once again tried to get close to him and dared to wrap her arm around him, threading her fingers through his hair while whispering sweet nothings into his ear. He caught on quick to what she wanted and gave her a smile while turning her down politely. "Heh, that's super nice of you to try and flirt with me. But Y/n has my heart and I'll make sure I do whatever I can to make it stay that way!"
He wouldn't leave without speaking his mind, and he spoke without fear. "It was super nice meeting you, but just to let you know Y/n has her own accomplishments too and while you don't have to be proud of them, you could at least show a little support but even if you don’t, I'll show them all the support they need!" After which, he dragged you out the door.
The Babysitter Chronicles - Henderson
steve harrington and dustin henderson || 1.8k words || CWs: none || 5+1 Steve asks for permission to babysit the kids, and one time he's asked in return; post season 2 AU
~~~
This has been the worst week of Steve’s life.
Not only does Nancy think he’s bullshit, he found out she never actually loved him, she cheated on him, and she partially blames him for Barb’s death.
He was almost eaten alive by alternate dimension monster demodogs, almost died at the hands of Billy fucking Hargrove, almost died in the backseat of Billy’s car, and then almost died again in the tunnels.
He’s pretty sure he has a serious concussion and a broken nose. The stitches on his forehead are starting to itch. He’s had a migraine every day since, and there’s ringing in his ears.
Steve honestly thought he could put all of this Upside-Down shit behind him. Pack it away in a tiny box and move on. Yet he was dragged into it once again, forced to protect kids he barely knows from both monsters and humans.
He deserves to get paid for this shit, to be honest.
He’s got no friends to sit with at lunch, no girlfriend to love him, and no parents at home to take care of him.
After spending the week at home alone, wallowing and recovering, he found himself thinking of the kids. It was the first time he felt anything other than misery and physical pain. But they were big, complicated emotions that he’s still untangling. He’s been able to pick out fear and anxiety, annoyance, exasperation, and– surprisingly– fondness. When he thinks of the kids, he’s hit with a surge of fierce protectiveness and devotion.
He’s got nothing to show for his life and no one to spend it with. Those kids, though, needed him in a way he’s never felt before. It was life or death, and they trusted him to keep them safe. Now that it’s over, even If he isn’t necessarily wanted, maybe he could at least continue being useful.
Which is how he finds himself pulling up to the same curb as he did a week ago. At least this time he’s not here about the Upside-Down; although, knowing Dustin, he wouldn’t be surprised.
“Steve!” Dustin’s running out the front door and down the driveway in just a t-shirt and sweatpants despite the chilly November morning. He plows into his chest at full speed and almost sends them both toppling over. “Steve, holy shit you’re here! Oh shit your face.”
“Hey man, language ok?” Jesus, the mouth on this kid. “Relax twerp, ease up on the hug, you're killing my ribs.”
Dustin immediately drops his arms and backs away, looking cowed. Steve’s going to have to work on his approach, apparently the kid’s sensitive. Or maybe Steve’s still a bit of a bully, another part of himself that needs to be fixed.
“It’s ok, Dustin, don’t worry about it. Just a little sore still.”
He perks back up again, bouncing up and down on his heels. The little gremlin’s toothless smile is so damn cute Steve wants to give him a noogie.
“Ok then,” Dustin replies, “so why are you here?”
“Uhhh, actually I’m here to talk to your mom.” Feeling suddenly awkward, Steve runs a nervous hand through his hair. He hisses as it pulls on his stitches.
“My mom?” he asks, incredulously. “Why? What’s going on?”
Steve supposes he should’ve thought of this. It makes more sense to talk with Dustin before actually asking his mom for permission, but he hadn’t practiced this part. Now here he is, facing down an over-dramatic middle schooler and he’s actually nervous about it.
“Yeah, I kind of noticed you’re an only child, and you don’t really have a dad around.”
Dustin’s face falls, morphing into a scowl. Shit, Steve’s barely said one word and he’s already messing this up.
“Not all of us have rich parents who buy us whatever they want,” the kid huffs, crossing his arms and kicking non-existent rocks.
“No wait, ok look I’m sorry Dustin, that’s not what I meant. I’m not really great at talking about stuff like this. The important stuff anyways. Let me try again. Please?”
The kid’s still scowling, but his body relaxes a bit and he nods.
“Ok I’ll start over,” Steve continues. “Even though we were dealing with all of the Upside-Down shit and it was literally the worst week of my entire life, I enjoyed having you around. I’d sleep better at night if I knew you twerps are safe and I know you don’t really have anyone around other than your mom and the other gremlins–”
“The Party.”
Steve stares at him, mouth hanging open as he’s cut off mid-sentence. He’s in the middle of pouring his heart out to this mouthy ten year old and he’s got the audacity to interrupt him.
“The what now?”
“The Party, Steve.” The little shit’s tone is overflowing with condescension. “The group. We’re called the Party. You know, like in DnD?”
“What the hell is a dandy?”
“You, kind of,” Dustin mutters under his breath. Steve doesn’t really know what that means and coming from this kid he probably doesn’t want to. “D and D stands for Dungeons and Dragons, Steve. It’s a role playing game.”
“Whoa, alright I think you’re a little too young to be playing role playing games.”
“I’ve literally been playing for three years.”
“You’ve been roleplaying since you were seven?”
“I’m thirteen Steve!” He’s pretty sure Dustin’s screeching can be heard from the other side of town. “What are we even talking about right now? Why are you here, at my home, looking for my mom?”
“I want to be your goddamned babysitter!” Steve screams back. He takes a deep breath– in and out. This kid’s going to be the death of him, he just knows it.
He looks down to find Dustin’s eyes wide and mouth formed in a perfect oval. The kid’s shocked, either from what Steve said or that he literally shouted it in his face. Now it’s Steve’s turn to kick rocks. He shuffles back and forth, shoving his hands in his pockets to keep them from tugging his hair again.
“You guys almost died, man,” Steve says softly, avoiding eye contact. It makes this part easier. “You almost died, and if I hadn’t been there, I have no idea what would’ve happened. Maybe you all would’ve been fine, I don’t know. But it was my job to keep you safe, and you don’t have anyone else around except your mom and the grem– I mean the Party– to look out for you. I had to quit basketball thanks to Billy, and Nancy broke up with me. My parents are literally never home, so I’ve got a lot of free time on my hands. Figure I could use some of that time keeping you out of trouble.”
Dustin’s face hasn’t changed, still devoid of any emotion other than shock. God damnit, Steve really messed this up. He looks around and rubs the back of his neck. His skin’s prickling with nerves as he starts to sweat and he takes a step backwards towards the safety of his car.
This was a stupid idea. Why would any of these kids want anything to do with him? He’s nothing like them: smart, nerdy, can save the world without taking a beating. Steve thought he could be useful, worthwhile to someone– to Dustin. He should know better by now.
“Look, I’m sorry. I’m just going to go,” Steve says. But as he turns to leave, Dustin slams into him once more. Steve’s breath whooshes from his lungs and a lightning strike of pain travels up his back. He thinks he’s shaking from the pain, except his crewneck is starting to feel damp against the kid’s face and he can see Dustin’s shoulders practically vibrating. “Hey, Dustin. Hey it’s ok, are you alright? What’s wrong man, talk to me.”
Dustin doesn’t look up, just keeps his face buried in Steve’s sweatshirt and grips him tighter. It hurts and it aches and it pulls at all of his injuries. He still lets Dustin hold on for as long as he needs to.
There’s a slight movement out of the corner of his good eye, and he glances up towards the house to see a small, curvy woman smiling at them through the window. Not wanting to dislodge Dustin, he slightly lifts his hand to wave. He’s surprised when she honest to God clutches her heart and wipes what he assumes is a tear from her eye.
Steve’s already worried he screwed this whole thing up. He definitely didn’t think it would happen in front of a goddamned audience.
The kid’s still holding on, but the shaking has subsided and he’s breathing easier. Steve smashes his hat to ruffle his hair, and Dustin backs off with a shriek. His face is covered in red blotches matching his bloodshot eyes. Steve looks down at his sweatshirt to find a tears-snot-spit wet patch stained into his chest.
“Dude, gross,” Steve huffs. At least he’s wearing an undershirt. Dustin just chuckles.
“Like friends?” Dustin asks, still wiping at his face. “I wouldn’t mind, you know, hanging out. Whenever you’re not busy, I mean.”
It’s Steve’s turn to feel a burn behind his eyes. Relief fills him with warmth as his growing anxiety is washed away. Dustin wants him around. He wants to spend time with him and Steve never really thought he’d get this far. All he had was a half-baked idea to serve himself up for the one thing he knows he’s good for. And he was wanted.
He reaches out and pulls the kid back in for a hug, holding him tight despite the pain. Dustin starts trying to push off, so Steve flips him around under his armpit in a headlock, rubbing his knuckles roughly into the top of Dustin’s hat as he starts to screech again. He huffs, straightening out his hat, still sporting that iconic toothless smile.
“Now,” Steve says, “all I have to do is ask your mom.”
“Don’t worry about that,” Dustin replies, turning around to lead Steve towards the house. He sees the curtains pulled roughly shut and the silhouette of the woman heading toward the front door. “She already knows all about you. I told her what happened. Well, the government version.”
“You told your mom about me?” Steve asks in awe.
“Duh, why wouldn’t I? Sure, you got your ass handed to you, but it was totally awesome!”
“Right,” Steve scoffs. He’ll let that one slide for now. “You’re sure she won’t mind?”
“Mom’s going to love you. She’s been asking about you all week.”
If she’s anything like her son, then hopefully Steve’s got nothing to worry about. And maybe if he can watch one kid, he can talk to the rest of their parents– look after the whole Party of gremlins. He can host after school hangouts and movie nights, sleepovers in the living room and pool parties in the summer. There’s the beginnings a plan forming in his head, which parents and kids he needs to talk to next.
When he’s met with Mrs. Henderson’s warm smile, he thinks maybe the rest of this year will be alright.

When you suggested a trip to Six Flags with Jenna and her sisters, you imagined odd food and maybe a ride on the Wave Swinger. Not a ride that was so tall it struck fear into you the second you laid eyes on it. The Goliath, the name alone made you wanna speed walk in the other direction. Towards the food stand with tables to share a huge plate of funnel cakes with your loving girlfriend.
The same loving girlfriend that was leading you to the long line of people waiting to experience the thrill of having their hearts jump into their throats. Maybe you were being a little dramatic but the impending doom you felt as you listened to the people scream at the steep drop overpowered any other thought. You were terrified, but the clear excitement Jenna was feeling made you believe that you could be brave enough for her.
However, as the line shortened and the ride grew taller, you began to question why you agreed to risk your life. “Thank you, I know rides aren’t your favorite.” Jenna whispered as she leaned closer to you so no one else could hear. She knew that you were only doing this to make her happy and the way she looked up at you made you realize just how much you’d to achieve just that.
“I just hope your sisters don’t realize how sweating my palms are.” You whispered back earning a chuckle as you wiped your hands down your pants for the 100th time. The feeling of her hand slipping into yours brought your attention away from the ride and back to her. A smile making its way across her face that made your heart quicken from something other than fear.
The moment was broken as the teenager controlling the ride motion for your group to get on. You were feeling confident as love for your girlfriend surged through you but as the safety bar lowered to your chest all confidence you gained disappeared. Jenna grabbed your hand again, gaining a scared but grateful smile from you.
Creaking as the cart started its journey on the track to the steep incline and your quickened heartbeat was all you could hear. The desperate prayer that the torturous wait would be quick was never answered. The slow trek up the incline felt like hours, the suspense making you nauseous.
Reaching the peak you closed your eyes tight, the grip on Jenna’s hand turning ironclad. “Oh, fuck.”.
_______________
Your hands were still shaking as you entered your shared apartment. Your feet mindlessly taking you towards the couch. As you plop down onto the cushions you think you hear the sound of the kettle being put on the stove and cabinets being opened but think nothing of it.
After a few minutes of staring blankly at the wall you see Jenna enter the living room with two mugs in hand and a hesitant smile. “Hi baby, I made you some hot chocolate.” Placing the mug into your hands she gives you a kiss on your forehead and settles in next to you. You take a sip of your drink, the warmth of her and the chocolate grounding you.
“Thanks, J.” You sent a smile her way as her free hand played with the baby hairs at the back of your neck. All of the sudden the memories of the last hour come rushing back making you groan.
“Do you think Aliyah will post that video of me.. passing out?” Jenna chuckles but it dies as she sees you frowning. “She won’t.” The reassurance falls flat as she tries to hide her growing smile as your checks redden. “Oh my god she will!” You place your mug down on the coffee table and cover your face with your hands even more embarrassed than the moment it happened.
The laugh she was trying to cover up bubbled out as she gently grasped your wrist pulling your hands away. “Baby please, it’s gonna be okay, I promise.” You knew there was more by the look in her eyes. You were gonna kill Aliyah, or at least beg Natalie to give you some embarrassing baby pictures of her in revenge.
“She might've already put it on her story, only on close friends though.”
“Oh god. I’m never living this down am I?” The responding laugh was enough to know you were doomed to have that video haunt you for the rest of your life.
“Look at it this way, now you're truly part of the family. We all have some embarrassing things over each other. You saw the post my mom made when she learned I smoked.” That pulled a chuckle from you, remembering just how embarrassed Jenna was when she read it. She swore she wasn’t leaving the house ever again.
“See I made it through so everythings gonna be okay!” Jenna says with a smile, pulling you into her until your head is resting on her chest and your body lays between her legs. Your hand slips under her shirt to feel even more of her comforting warmth against you. A hum escapes you both when she wraps her arms around your shoulder and kisses the top of your head.
“Thank you for trying the ride for me Y/n, even though the Goliath took you out.”

— Pinnacle [ tsukishima kei university au series ]
— i’m still on that tightrope ; you showed tsukishima your vulnerable side before when you were crying in front of him, but he didn’t know that there’s another part of you that he really thinks need to be saved
author’s notes : no mention of (y/n), written in second person pov, semi alternative universe, timeskip!tsukishima, college life, not proofread, english is not my first language
[ masterlist ] | [ ask daleelah go to box box 🐭 ]
The day had finally come to check your exam results, and the anticipation weighed heavily on your mind. It was also the day your holiday began, and you knew your mother would be arriving soon to pick you up. You’d been dreading this moment, feeling a mix of nervousness and unease about your results. Your mother’s words from earlier still echoed in your head, and the thought of leaving the dorm and facing her expectations made you feel even more anxious.
Sitting at your desk, you hesitated before opening your laptop. The uni website loaded slowly, the spinning circle on the screen only adding to your nerves. When the results finally appeared, you scanned the page quickly. A- in most subjects. Relief flooded you briefly until your eyes landed on the grade for Molecular Biology—a B.
Your heart sank, the wave of sadness washing over you. It wasn’t a terrible grade, but it was a stark reminder of your struggles. You thought back to that exam, the one Tsukishima had helped you prepare for after you’d collapsed in the infirmary. The one you hadn’t been able to study enough for. A B was fine, you told yourself, but it felt like a failure in the context of everything you’d been through.
You glanced at the clock—it was nearly 1 PM. You needed to pack and get ready for your mother’s arrival. You pulled on a thick white sweater, tugging a beanie over your head, and stared at yourself in the mirror. The reflection didn’t show the confidence you wished you had right now. Instead, it showed the worry etched into your expression.
Your phone buzzed with a text from your mom: I’m here, sweetie. In the parking lot. You sighed heavily, knowing you couldn’t delay any longer. Grabbing your bags, you walked out of your dorm room, the door clicking shut behind you. The pavement outside was still damp from the morning rain, and the air had a crisp chill, signaling the approach of winter.
As you approached your mother’s car, parked at the curb, she spotted you and waved, a warm smile on her face. But before you could respond, another car pulled up beside hers. You recognized Yamaguchi stepping out of the passenger seat, and your breath caught in your throat when you saw Tsukishima behind the wheel.
Your mom rushed to greet you, wrapping you in a tight hug and kissing your temple. “Oh honey, I’ve missed you so much! How’s university been?”
You forced a smile, trying to hide your embarrassment as you noticed Yamaguchi glancing in your direction. “I told you about it almost every day, Mom.”
She pulled back slightly, still holding you by the shoulders. “Yes, but it’s different hearing it from you in person.”
You gave a small nod, trying to keep the conversation light. “It’s been fine,” you said, opening the trunk of her car to load your bags. Your mom followed closely, her eyes never leaving you.
As you were about to close the trunk, your mom’s voice broke the silence. “Have you checked your exam results, baby? You said they were coming out today.”
A surge of anxiety rushed through you. Your mom pulled out her smartphone, quickly navigating to your student account. It was always like this—her managing everything as if your grades were a reflection of her own achievements.
Your gaze drifted to Yamaguchi, who was unloading his luggage from the other car. Tsukishima was helping him, but you noticed him glance in your direction too. When your eyes met his, you quickly looked away, not wanting him to see the turmoil inside you.
Your mom gasped sharply, her eyes widening as she stared at the screen. “What is this? Did you do something wrong? Did you skip classes in Molecular Biology? Why is this a B?” Her voice grew louder with each question, irritation seeping into her tone.
You felt your stomach drop. You knew she’d be upset, but hearing her disappointment out loud stung more than you’d anticipated. “Mom, it’s just a B. I still made it to the upper ranks. It’s not a big deal. I tried my best.”
“Not a big deal?” she snapped, her voice tinged with disbelief. “This is your first semester! The first semester is supposed to be the easiest to ace. What have you been doing with your time?”
Your voice wavered, your earlier confidence crumbling. “Mom, it wasn’t as easy as you think.” You could feel Tsukishima’s eyes on you, and the embarrassment of having him overhear your mother’s scolding only made you feel worse. You knew he understood exactly what you meant, but that didn’t make it any easier.
Tsukishima stood by Yamaguchi’s car, his jaw clenched as he listened to your mother’s harsh words. He could see the way your shoulders hunched, the way your voice trembled, and it tore at him. He hated seeing you like this, knowing how much it hurt to be criticized by someone who was supposed to support you. A part of him wanted to intervene, to tell your mom to stop, but he didn’t know how. This wasn’t his place, and yet, every word she spoke felt like a personal attack on you—and by extension, on him.
Your mom scoffed, her frustration evident. “Where’s your scarf? I told you to wear something warm, or you’ll get sick.” She rummaged through your bag, pulling out the red scarf she had packed for you. Wrapping it tightly around your neck, she muttered, “Do you ever listen to anything I say?”
“Mom, I did,” you whispered, trying to appease her, but the disappointment in her eyes cut deep.
Without a word, she opened your bag and began searching for something. You knew exactly what she was looking for—the medicine box she had packed with ginger tonic and vitamins, the ones she insisted you take every day. When she finally found it, her face darkened as she counted the remaining sachets.
“It’s still twenty left,” she said, her voice cold with anger. “You should have only fourteen by now. You’ve skipped taking it for six days.”
You saw Yamaguchi heading into the dormitory with his luggage, leaving Tsukishima alone by the car. He watched you with a frown, his expression growing more concerned as your mom continued to scold you. You tried to maintain an emotionless face, but inside, you were crumbling. The humiliation of having Tsukishima witness this moment made it even harder to hold back the tears.
Tsukishima’s chest tightened as he watched the scene unfold. He remembered how he had been with you in the lab—strict, unyielding, often pushing you harder than anyone else. In that moment, it struck him how similar his behavior had been to your mother’s. He had treated you the same way, expecting perfection, giving little room for mistakes. The realization sent a pang of guilt through him, making him feel complicit in the pain you were enduring now. He wanted to do something, anything, to ease that hurt, but he felt paralyzed by the weight of his own actions.
“Mom, please, stop—” you started, but she cut you off sharply.
“No, you stop,” she retorted, her voice rising. “This is exactly why you shouldn’t be living in a dormitory. You’ve been neglecting everything I’ve told you to do.”
You sighed heavily, the weight of her words pressing down on you. In a moment of defiance, you grabbed the ginger tonic sachets from her hand. Tearing one open, you drank it quickly, the bitter taste burning your throat. But you didn’t stop there—you reached for another, and then another.
Tsukishima’s frown deepened, his concern palpable as he took a step forward, as if to stop you. He didn’t realize it at first, but his instinct to intervene was clear. When you reached for a fourth sachet, he moved to block your hand, gently taking the tonic from you. He couldn’t let this go on any longer—seeing you punished like this over something so small was unbearable.
But when you met his gaze, your expression was unreadable, and for a moment, Tsukishima’s heart sank. He thought you were angry at him for stepping in, for overstepping boundaries that weren’t his to cross. The guilt from earlier only intensified as he realized how much he had contributed to your suffering. The way you looked at him now reminded him of every time he had scolded you in the lab, pushing you just as hard, expecting nothing less than perfection. It broke his heart to think that he had added to your burden, that he had been another source of pain for you.
You took the sachet back from him without a word and downed it in one gulp, the bitterness making your stomach churn. But you didn’t care. You needed to prove something—to your mom, to yourself, to everyone who thought you couldn’t handle this.
By the time you’d finished the sixth sachet, your mom’s anger had shifted to shock. She stared at you, her face pale as she struggled to process what had just happened. “There. I took it,” you said quietly, your voice hollow. “And I’m not leaving the dorm.”
Your mom’s eyes narrowed, her surprise quickly replaced by the familiar anger. “Get in the car now,” she ordered, her voice trembling with barely contained rage. “I’m telling your father about this, and we’ll see what he has to say.”
You felt utterly defeated as you climbed into the car, your body numb and your mind racing. As your mom slammed the trunk shut and moved to the driver’s seat, you couldn’t help but glance back at Tsukishima. His expression was unreadable, but you could see the conflict in his eyes—he wanted to help, to stop what was happening, but he didn’t know how.
Tsukishima stood frozen, his heart heavy with the weight of what had just transpired. He wanted to do something, to fix this, but he didn’t know how. All he could think about was the pain in your eyes, the way you had looked at him, and how he had contributed to it.
The drive home was silent, the tension between you and your mom thick enough to cut with a knife. As the city streets blurred by, you couldn’t shake the feeling of emptiness that had settled in your chest. Your mom’s words echoed in your mind, each one a sharp reminder of how you’d failed to meet her expectations.
But more than that, you couldn’t stop thinking about Tsukishima—about the look in his eyes when he’d tried to stop you, about the concern that had etched itself into his features. It was a small comfort, knowing that someone had cared enough to step in, even if only for a moment.
As the car sped away from the university, you closed your eyes and leaned back against the seat, trying to push away the lingering sadness. But deep down, you knew it wasn’t something you could escape from so easily.
i’m sorry i didn’t post it yesterday, i was so busy spending my weekend with my friends and i just watch it ends with us and crying the whole night, i hope you guys enjoy your weekends too and please let me know anything you want to say about this series 🌸🫶🏻🥹✨🐭

Tumblr media
Satoru continued to grow her hair out after you first trimmed her undercut, continued painting her nails, and wore her clear lip gloss to the school more days than not. She seemed content with things as they were – and if she was content, you were content – but when her hair got long enough for you to braid out of her face, she decided it was time to take another step in her transition.
“Don’t you think it’s time I told someone else about… well. About me, I guess,” she asked one evening while you were in the kitchen.
The question caught you off guard, and you finished setting up the rice cooker before turning to face her. She was avoiding your gaze, instead staring down at her nails; her polish was starting to chip a bit, and you’d been trying to break her of the habit of picking it off when it would chip.
“That’s not really my decision,” you responded gently, watching her closely. “Are you ready to tell anyone else?”
She hesitated, still not meeting your gaze. “I think people are starting to notice anyway.” Her words were so soft you nearly missed them, but the anxiety that permeated her words broke your heart.
“What makes you think that?” You stepped closer, crossing the room and taking her hands into your own when you noticed her start to pick at her nail polish. The odds that anyone had been cruel to her were low, but it didn’t ease the surge of protectiveness that flared in your chest.
“Nobara,” she said quietly. “She mentioned my hair, and my nails.”
Your brows furrowed; of course it was Nobara who said something first. “What did she say about them?”
A shrug. “Nothing in particular, really. Just pointed them out. She’s mentioned my nails a couple times.”
“Didn’t you say Yuji really liked your nails the first time Nobara pointed them out?” The smile Satoru had worn when sharing that piece of information with you a few weeks back had been so sweet, bashful but excited, nearly giddy that someone else liked the small changes she was making to her appearance.
“…Yeah,” she agreed, the corner of her lips twitching slightly. “He did. He had Nobara paint his nails after classes that day.”
A smile tugged at your own lips then, and you gave her hands a gentle squeeze. “See? Your students don’t think poorly of you for any of the changes you’ve already made. You don’t have to take any steps you’re not ready for yet.”
Finally, she looked up from her hands and met your gaze, managing a small and still slightly nervous smile. “I think… I think I am ready to tell someone else, though. I think it’ll help me feel better about all of this.”
You gave a small nod. “Alright, ‘Toru. If you’re really ready, I’ve got your back. Do you know who you want to tell?”
Her smile faltered slightly, but it didn’t disappear entirely. “Not really,” she admitted with a sigh. “I know I’ll tell everyone eventually, somehow, but it feels…” Satoru trailed off for a moment, and you could tell from her expression that she was trying to find the right words. “I dunno, just feels odd to rank how important people are to me, y’know?”
“Yeah, that makes sense,” you assured her. Another moment of silence passed as you considered the best way to reframe it for her, hopefully make it easier for her to decide who to tell first. “Well, think about it this way: this isn’t about how important each person is to you, at least not for what order you tell them in. This is about who you’re comfortable confiding in, or who you’re comfortable being open with. It’s about you, princess, not everyone else.”
Something in your girlfriend’s expression shifted as you spoke, almost like it was clicking for her, and you watched some of the tension bleed from her shoulders. “Yeah,” she agreed, smiling a bit brighter again. “Yeah, this is about me. You’re right.”
Seeing her more at ease had you smiling a bit brighter, too, and you squeezed her hands again. “Can I make a suggestion about who to tell?” you asked. “You can say no, of course. This is a big step forward, and I don’t want you to feel like I’m trying to make the decision for you.”
“No, it’s okay, go ahead,” Satoru said. “I still don’t have anyone in mind, so I’m open to suggestions.” Her expression was earnest as she looked down at you, all of her attention focused on you.
“I think Megumi would be a good choice.”
The suggestion seemed to catch her off guard, and she blinked a few times before she spoke again. “Really?” she asked. “Why Gumi?”
“‘Cause he’s trans, too, remember?” you reminded, still smiling gently up at her. “He’ll understand.”
“Oh, yeah.” A fierce blush spread across her face almost faster than you could process, and you couldn’t help but giggle softly at her. It honestly didn’t surprise you that she had sort of forgotten about that detail of Megumi’s gender; it’s not like it was something that was discussed frequently between them, since Megumi was already presenting as a boy when Satoru first met him, and the revelation of him being trans didn’t come along until the boy started puberty. Megumi had always just been Megumi, and nobody that mattered had ever treated him any differently because he was trans. You knew that the boy would think the same of Satoru, and that he would even likely be one of Satoru’s fiercest advocates after he learned of this development.
“I think I will tell Gumi first,” Satoru said after a few moments. “Like you said, he’ll get it, and I think… I think that understanding is what I need to start with.”
“I’m really proud of you for recognizing that, ‘Toru,” you told her with a grin. This process hadn’t been all that easy on her, so being able to identify and verbalize her needs herself was a good sign.
As impossible as it should have been, she seemed to blush even more at your words, the red now stretching from the tips of her ears all the way down her neck, and all you could think was how much it made her eyes pop. Unable to resist, you pushed in closer, pressing a gentle kiss to her cheek before settling back into your former spot.
“You want some more time to think about how you wanna tell him?” you asked curiously, thumbs rubbing over her knuckles absentmindedly. You were a bit surprised when she shook her head, though.
“No,” she said softly. “If I think about it for too long I might talk myself out of it. I’ll tell him tomorrow after class.”
“Would you like me to be there with you when you tell him? For moral support?”
“...Yeah,” Satoru whispered. “Yeah, I would.”
“I’ll be there, then.”
The beep that indicated that the rice cooker was finished nearly made you both jump, but you just chuckled softly. “Alright, princess, we’ll figure everything else out later. For now, let’s eat.”
Tumblr media
Just as you promised, you went to the school with lunch for yourself and Satoru, knowing that the break between classes and training was when your girlfriend was planning to speak to Megumi and share her life update. You arrived just as Satoru was finishing her lesson, and waited patiently outside the door, not wanting to interrupt at all. When the door slid open a couple minutes later, you took a half step back to give the students a bit more room to leave. You smiled at them as you saw them.
“Hi Nobara-chan, Yuji-kun. It’s good to see you,” you greeted as they passed you, but you reached out to catch Megumi before he could slip away. “Megumi, could you come back in with me for a moment?”
The boy paused when he felt your hand on his arm, and his brows furrowed slightly when you used his full name, rather than a nickname like you tended to do, since you’d known him so long; if you used his full name, it meant something serious was happening. “Yeah, of course.” He looked up when Yuji called out to him, and he quickly waved his classmates off, promising to catch up with them soon.
A slight sense of relief washed over you as Megumi agreed to come with you without any argument; he wasn’t as combative as he’d been when he was younger, but it was still nice when he didn’t make a fuss. The two of you stepped back into the classroom, where Satoru sat at her desk. She brightened a bit when she saw you and stood from her chair, though when she saw Megumi right behind you, it seemed to hit her all over again what was about to happen.
“Hi, ‘Toru,” you greeted, sliding the door to the classroom shut once Megumi was fully in the room with you. The action seemed to make him a little apprehensive, but he didn’t say anything, and he didn’t make to leave, either, which was another relief to you, and, you assumed, to Satoru.
Your girlfriend murmured a small greeting in return as you stepped closer, and allowed you to tug her around the front of the desk without fuss. She held tight to your hand as she came to stand beside you, though, and you could feel the faintest tremor in her grip.
“Is something wrong?” Megumi asked, glancing between the two of you, though his gaze lingered on Satoru a bit more; his teacher was rarely this quiet, so it was a definite sign that whatever this conversation was about, it was serious.
“No,” you answered right away, wanting to ease any nerves the boy might have. “Nothing’s wrong. Satoru has something to tell you, that’s all.”
You looked up at your partner then, offering her a soft smile when she looked back down at you, and when she seemed to hesitate, you squeezed her hand, silently encouraging her to share her news; you couldn’t do this for her, even if you hated how nervous she was about doing it herself.
She gave you a tiny nod, taking a deep breath and turning back to look at Megumi. “Well… I know you’ve noticed some changes with me recently,” she started. “Nobara was pretty insistent on pointing out my nails, and how my hair is growing out now.” With that, she pulled her blindfold down, allowing her hair to fall into her face completely for a moment before she ran her fingers through it, tugging lightly on it in a self-soothing motion. Despite the fact that her eyes were no longer covered, she still wasn’t quite making eye contact with the boy she’d spent the last ten years raising.
Megumi nodded at Satoru’s words, though he said nothing, clearly not wanting to interrupt and throw his sensei off from whatever it was Satoru was trying to tell him.
The snowy haired sorcerer let out a shaky breath before she continued. “Before I started painting my nails, or intentionally growing my hair out, or anything like that, I did some reflecting, and I… I realized that I’m not, uh. I’m not—”
You frowned when she got a bit choked up, and you squeezed her hand again, leaning in a bit and resting your head on her arm in silent support. The touch seemed to punch a small gasp from her, but it was enough to let her take a steadying breath and keep going, to let her finish what she started without fully breaking down in the middle.
“I realized that I’m not a man. I never have been, I just… didn’t have the words to explain it. Or the option to even consider it, really.” A small, almost bitter laugh escaped her then, but she shook her head slightly, likely pushing any of the lingering negative feelings aside.
Finally, she met Megumi’s steady gaze. “I’m still me,” she said. “I’m just… not a man. I’m a woman.” She shrugged slightly when she finished, and it wasn’t long before she dropped his gaze again.
The boy was silent for a few long moments, his expression unreadable as he nodded again, but when he finally spoke, you could feel the tension bleed from your girlfriend’s frame. “Do you still want me to call you Gojo-Sensei?”
Satoru’s head shot up at the question, her expression brightening. “Yeah,” she laughed softly. “Yeah, that’s fine. I like my name, I don’t plan on changing it.” She hesitated for a moment, unsure, then asked, voice small, “Can I give you a hug?”
The blush that dusted Megumi’s face at the question was endearing, and it made you smile, especially when he mumbled that yes, a hug was fine. Satoru was quick to release your hand and close the distance between herself and her ward, wrapping her arms tightly around him.
“Thanks, Gumi,” she whispered, face half buried in his hair.
His arms came up to wrap around her in return. “Just tell me when I can start correcting people about your pronouns and everything,” he replied. He peeked at you around his teacher’s arm, and you could see a faint smile tugging at his lips.
“You gonna get into fights defending me?” the sorceress asked, somewhat teasingly; given Megumi’s violent streak in middle school, it wasn’t entirely impossible.
“If I have to, yeah. Nobody’s getting away with that shit on my watch.”
She let out a choked half-laugh, half-sob at his words, and squeezed him a bit tighter. “I love you, Gumi.”
The words caught both you and Megumi off guard, his face going an even deeper shade of red; Satoru hadn’t said those words to the boy since he was little, probably because he’d been resistant to the sentiment – understandably so, after everything he’d gone through so early in his life.
This time, though, he didn’t try to squirm away from the affection, or deflect or ignore what had been said to him. Instead, he squeezed Satoru a bit tighter, and whispered something that sounded an awful lot like “Love you, too.”

Forged in Fire: A New World
A/n: I know I had a similar series to this called Between Worlds, lately I just haven’t felt like writing it. UNTIL I GOT THIS WONDERFUL, SPLENDID idea. Hope you all like it, it’s a different kind of start which I kind of enjoy better? Makes the plot flow nicer than having to create a bunch of OC characters to get the plot going. Let me know what you think.
Summary: You wake up in a strange place :) Soon to be an Azriel x Reader fic.
Part Two
Warnings: Mentions of Illness, Mentions of abuse, Mentions of blood. WC: 3.1k
The song of birds chirping outside, the rustling of leaves, and the sound of hushed footsteps around the room awoke you.
With a groan, your bleary eyes fluttered open, greeted by a room unfamiliar. Rubbing your eyes to push past the blurriness, you wondered why your head ached so much. You sat up, taking in the room. The giant chandelier was the kicker—you could never in your lifetime own one of those. Your eyes searched the room for anything familiar, anxiety creeping in your stomach.. A maid kept saying your name, but you ignored her. Your gaze constantly shifted around the room, the green walls were lined at the top with wallpaper depicting foxes playing in the tall grass. The russet brown canopy rested above a bed larger than any you’d ever owned, with silk sheets and a velvet comforter. There was a roaring fireplace in your bedroom.
You weren’t home, in your crappy apartment, anymore.
A maid approached, her brown hair and pale skin accentuated by concerned green eyes. “Miss Y/n? Are you feeling alright?” Her voice was just a whisper, sounding like the autumn wind, and she smelled like spices. Normal people don’t smell like warm ginger and clove.
You climbed out of bed in a sprint. Not caring about the fancy sheets that just fell onto the floor.
Where the hell were you?
You sprinted down halls lined with various fall colors and paintings of people with red hair and golden eyes. People gawked as you ran by, soldiers whispering to each other as they glanced at you. Perhaps it was because you were wearing nothing but pantaloons and a white corset top. You didn’t care; you just wanted to leave. You wanted to be back in your crappy apartment.
Your heart was beating faster than it ever had before, sounding like a war drum, until two strong arms caught you and a man that stood a foot taller than you grabbed your sides.
“Y/n, what are you doing out of bed?” His amber eyes seemed to pierce into you, his face a mix of concern and worry as his gaze constantly shifted from the people walking about the halls back to you. Your heart was pounding, and you were panting from running. Why the hell were these hallways so long? You just stared at him, his honeyed voice repeatedly asking, "What’s going on?”
You were about to respond when a sharp, metallic taste filled your mouth. Your eyes widened in panic as you choked, coughing violently. Your hand flew to your lips, and when you pulled it away, it was smeared with blood.
Normal people don’t cough up blood when they run, do they?
The male's eyes widened in horror as he saw your blood-stained lips and crimson-covered palm. "Shit," he whispered, his voice trembling with urgency. Without a second thought, he scooped you into his arms, his grip tight and desperate.
Fear surged through you as you clung to him, your vision blurring. The strong, steady beat of his heart against your cheek was the only thing grounding you as everything else started to fade. The world spun around you, colors and shapes blending into a dizzying swirl.
"Hold on," he urged, his voice a strained whisper, filled with a mix of fear and determination. You could hear the pounding of footsteps and the frantic murmur of voices as he carried you through the endless hallways.
The last thing you saw before the darkness claimed you was his face, etched with worry, his amber eyes filled with a desperate plea for you to hold on. You tried to focus on his voice, his warmth, but the world spun faster and faster until it all faded to black.
******
You awoke again in the same bed. You were definitely not in Los Angeles anymore, you murmured to yourself. When you tried to sit up, a loud, “Don’t,” caught your attention. The male who had carried you was there, now without his fancy silk-lined coat. His hair was tousled a bit too much as he sat in a chair across the room, drinking a glass of whiskey.
You stared back at him as you hesitated, then eased back into the bed, earning a hum of approval from him as he began to walk over.
“Why were you running around like a heathen?” he sneered, his voice tinged with anger, yet his face was full of concern. “What if Mother or Father saw you? Hm?” He drawled as he walked over to the side of the bed, taking a spot near your legs. “You don’t wake up for three weeks and now you’re running a dead sprint?” His laugh was dark and breathless, laden with worry. “What the hell were you thinking?”
You could see the tension in his posture, the way his hands clenched the edge of the bed. It was as if he was trying to keep his emotions in check, to mask the fear that lurked beneath his harsh words.
“I... I didn’t know where I was,” you admitted, your voice shaky. “I was scared.”
His expression softened slightly, the anger fading into something more like resignation. “You should have stayed in bed,” he said quietly, his tone less harsh now. “You’re not well, Y/n. You need to rest.”
The memory of coughing up blood flashed in your mind, and a shiver ran through you. “Why did I... why did that happen?” you asked, fear creeping into your voice. That had never happened back home. Why now? Why in this place?
He sighed, running a hand through his disheveled red hair. “You’re sick, Y/n, you’ve always been sick. You have a weak heart. Can you… not remember?” His last statement seemed like it was meant more for himself than for you.
His eyes met yours, and for a moment, the worry was plain to see. “Just promise me you’ll stay put,” he said, his voice softening further. “I can’t lose you again.”
You hesitated before nodding. “Can… can I ask you a question?” you muttered under your breath. Would he think you were crazy? The man looked awfully pissed off given the circumstances, yet you felt a deep connection with him.
He looked at you, his brows furrowing, but he nodded. You continued, “Who are you? Or rather, where am I?” His eyes softened into what looked like a pang of sadness.
“So you really do have memory loss…” he whispered to himself. “My name is Eris. I am your eldest brother.” His voice quivered, and you could see the pain etched into his features. “We are in our home in the Autumn Court. You remember the Forest House, don’t you?” he whispered.
Your hands trembled as you stared at the intricate designs embedded into the bedding. The Autumn Court? The Forest House? Like from that one hit series, SJM put out. You’d read the books—for crying out loud, who hadn’t? This had to be a terrible dream. Perhaps you were working too late last night. You shouldn’t have eaten that Chinese food you left in the fridge for too long. You looked up to find those russet-colored eyes piercing you, full of worry and concern.
“You don’t know who any of us are, do you?” he whispered, his voice cracking with emotion. “The healers said your condition got worse, that we shouldn’t have brought you with us during the war. The environment would be too much for your heart.” He crept closer, his palm landing gently on your cheek. “Sister, please, I need… I need you to remember me. Okay? Please, try your best. I need you to remember the good within me.”
A tear slipped down your cheek, your own. His words resonated deeply within you, pushing aside your other thoughts of home. There was something achingly familiar about his touch, his voice.
“I’ll try,” you whispered, your voice trembling with emotion. “I’ll try to remember.”
Eris’s eyes softened even more, his thumb brushing away your tears. “Thank you,” he murmured. “That’s all I ask. Now, I am reluctant to leave you, but I have a meeting in Hewn City.”
With both his hands, he cupped your cheeks, his touch gentle yet urgent. “I’m going to give us a better life.”
The way his eyes settled on you with concern, you could tell he didn’t want to leave you here. Given all the context, you had been asleep for three weeks, of course he wouldn’t want to leave. Eris moved away from you, grabbing the glass of water on the nightstand and bring it to your lips. You drank the water, but you could sense something else within it. Within moments you passed out yet again.
That jerk, how dare he drug you to sleep.
******
Eris entered Hewn City a few hours later, his steps heavy with responsibility. As he navigated the bustling streets, his mind raced with thoughts of the meeting ahead. This alliance was crucial, not only for the prosperity of the Autumn Court but also for the future of his family.
Finally arriving at the grand estate, Eris made his way through the ornate corridors until he reached the study, where he found Keir engrossed in paperwork.
“You got me that meeting with your high lord, right?” Eris drawled as he lazily collapsed into the armchair. Today was going to be a long day, he thought. First, his sister had woken up three weeks after passing out due to the cold. Beron, his father, suggested—or rather, forced—all of the children to go to the war camp, to prove a united force. Within days, your condition worsened, and you were bedridden. Eris would never forget that, the way his father would have just let you die there. You were a year younger than Lucien, at least you were Beron’s actual child. He should at least treat you as such.
Of course, Mother cared about you; she had always wanted a daughter. A sickly one? Not so much. Beron always blamed her for how sick you were, claiming it was because she was ‘tainted’ from another High Lord. It only made the abuse worse on the Lady of Autumn.
“They should be here within the hour,” Keir grumbled, pulling Eris from his thoughts. Eris needed this alliance to work, not just so he could be High Lord, but so he could give all of his siblings a better life. Give himself a better life.
Eris sipped on the whiskey in his hand, feeling the familiar burn as it slid down his throat. He despised a lot of things: the biting cold that seemed to seep into his bones, Keir and his pathetic city that revolved around torture and sexist ideals, and above all, his father—enough to make him contemplate murder.
As he sat in the study, the weight of his responsibilities pressing down on him, Eris couldn't help but feel a simmering anger deep within him. The whiskey provided a temporary reprieve, numbing the edge of his rage, but it was always there, lurking beneath the surface like a dormant volcano waiting to erupt.
He took another sip, the bitterness of the alcohol mingling with the bitterness of his thoughts. With each swallow, he felt a flicker of defiance, a silent vow to defy the oppressive forces that sought to control him and his family.
Eris may have hated many things, but he refused to let that hatred consume him. Instead, he channeled it into determination, a determination to carve out a better future for himself and those he cared about, no matter the cost.
Within the hour, the Inner Circle arrived, though not in its entirety. Eris felt a flicker of relief that Mor was absent; her presence would only complicate matters further. He watched as they took their seats at the table, Feyre’s gaze piercing him with undisguised disgust, joined by similar expressions from Cassian and Azriel. It was natural—they all hated him. But Eris reassured himself that their opinions didn’t matter. All he needed was a powerful alliance.
As the meeting began, Eris steeled himself, his mind focused on the task at hand. He would do whatever it took to secure the support of the Night Court, even if it meant enduring their scorn and disdain. In the end, the only thing that mattered was achieving his goals and ensuring the survival of his family.
“What do you want, Eris?” Rhysand drawled with a look of boredom, his tone laced with skepticism. With a wave of his hand, wine glasses appeared in front of everyone on the table.
Eris took a moment to compose himself, hiding any hint of desperation that threatened to surface. “I need an alliance,” he began, his voice steady and controlled. “I plan on taking the throne soon. And I have a humble request of sorts.”
Rhysand brought the glass of wine to his lips, his violet eyes locked onto Eris’s russet ones without wavering. “My mother could handle herself in the attack, my sister, however—” he paused, his voice cool and measured, “I want protection over her.”
Feyre’s expression, initially one of disgust, morphed into confusion as she glanced at Rhysand, who didn’t return her gaze but instead settled a comforting hand on top of hers.
“I was unaware you had a sister, Eris,” Rhysand remarked, swirling the wine in his glass as he continued to observe Eris with an unreadable expression.
“She’s sick, a weak heart of sorts,” Eris continued, his tone softening slightly as he spoke of his sister. “Along with the resources to take down my father, I would want her protected. Perhaps to stay in the Night Court,” he suggested, his voice carefully measured.
Eris knew he was treading on thin ice, but the prospect of securing protection for his sister was worth the risk. He hoped that by appealing to their sense of compassion and strategic advantage, he could convince the Inner Circle to agree to his request.
Feyre was the first to speak, her tone cautious as she addressed Eris. “You want her protected here? I’m assuming away from Hewn City,” she observed, her gaze shifting briefly to Keir, who remained surprisingly silent during the meeting, apparently unaware that Eris had a sister. “What do we gain from this ‘protection’? It seems like you are requesting a lot, yet you haven’t mentioned what you would give in return.”
Eris understood Feyre’s skepticism. He needed to present a compelling offer if he hoped to secure their assistance. Taking a deep breath, he considered his response carefully, aware that every word mattered.
“I understand your concerns, Feyre,” he began, his voice steady. “In return for your protection over my sister, I am willing to offer valuable resources and information that could aid you in your endeavors. I also pledge my loyalty to the Night Court, and I am prepared to assist in any way I can to further our mutual goals.”
Eris held his breath, waiting for their response, hoping that his offer would be enough to sway them in his favor.
Feyre considered Eris’s words carefully, her expression never faltering as she weighed his offer. After a moment of silence, she spoke, her voice measured yet decisive.
“You offer is intriguing, Eris,” she began, her tone betraying a hint of cautious optimism. “Protection for your sister in exchange for valuable resources and your loyalty could indeed prove beneficial for us. Especially if you are willing to give any information about Autumn court to us.”
Rhysand, who had been observing the exchange in silence, letting his mate take charge, finally spoke. His voice, though commanding, held a hint of intrigue as he addressed Eris. “Indeed, Eris,” he said, his violet eyes glinting with curiosity. “Your offer holds promise. But tell me, how sick is your sister?”
Eris noted the bored expression on Rhysand's face, recognizing the calculated indifference that often masked deeper curiosity. He cleared his throat, choosing his words carefully. "My sister's condition is delicate," he replied, his tone solemn. "Her heart is weak, and she requires constant care and protection."
Rhysand nodded thoughtfully, his gaze flickering to Feyre for a moment before returning to Eris. "Very well," he said, his voice tinged with a hint of finality. "We will discuss the details of your sister's stay in the Night Court further. But for now, let us focus on solidifying our alliance."
The paperwork was written right then and there, the terms of the alliance carefully outlined and agreed upon by both parties. Cassian, the general of the Night Court, seemed skeptical, his sharp eyes darting between Eris and the documents laid out before them. Meanwhile, Rhysand had discreetly spoken to Azriel, instructing him to have his spies gather any information they could find about Eris's sister in the Autumn Court, ensuring that Eris did not overhear the command.
Azriel nodded silently, his expression unreadable as he swiftly winnowed away, disappearing into the shadows to carry out his task.
Left alone with the High Lord and High Lady of the Night Court, Eris felt a sense of anticipation mingled with apprehension. This alliance could be the key to securing his family's future, but he knew that their trust was not easily earned. He resolved to tread carefully, mindful of the delicate balance of power that hung in the air.
Eris was just thankful you wouldn’t have to stay in the depths of Hewn City, while he had never been to Velaris. The city was spoken to be a safe place, safe from any enemies. Rhysand had ensured Eris that you would be protected as long as you would not be a threat. The place in which you would be staying was still to be communicated, though it seemed likely that you would be staying with their head healer at her cottage, to ensure your health was taken into consideration. Also, far away from any information that you could possibly overhear from what Eris had understood by the underlying threat.
In four nights, you would be winnowed to the city of Velaris. His sister would be leaving the oppressive reign of Beron, a chance to give you for the first time in your three hundred years of life a chance for freedom- a fresh start.
In four nights, the downfall of Beron would begin.

hii, i hope you're having an amazing day :)
as a mentally ill peep myself, i love love your writing! plus you write frank's character so well and there are some pieces that i keep re-reading for comfort 🫶
if possible, i'd like to ask if you could write something where the reader has a really messed up relationship with her parents? like she loves them but has arguments with them pretty much every day and they have this habit of blaming her for everything, even if it's not her fault at all? i'd love to see how frank would be with the reader in a situation like that
thank you so much for all your work and sending love!!

Summary: You have a complicated relationship with your parents, and Frank tries to support you during the toughest times.
Warnings: Verbally/emotionally abusive parents, hurt/comfort, feminine nicknames
Word count: 2k
Author’s note: Parents can suck so much sometimes. I’m really sorry you have to deal with this, anon! I’m sending you so much love too, I hope you like this <3
One thing Frank learned about you quickly was your complex relationship with your parents. When you were first getting to know each other, he bit his tongue in the belief that it wasn’t his place to be commenting on anything, but the closer that you got, the harder it became for him to stand aside and watch you get mistreated. You were such a patient, kind soul that he grew smitten with in a matter of moments, and he absolutely hated seeing the way your parents acted sometimes.
He knew families could be complicated and difficult, but still loved and important. That was the case with you, too — even though arguments with your parents were practically a daily occurrence, they were dear to you and you were unable to pull away from them. It was a delicate balance you couldn’t always manage, and as much became obvious to Frank as your relationship continued to bloom and grow.
It was something you just couldn’t get away from. Your tumultous bond had even come close to ruining a date with you and Frank, though the man had insisted he understood. Still, you still shuddered when you thought back to the night, you and him huddled up in the back of his truck with blankets and wine, and the bright, starry night sky above you for your entertainment.
It had been perfect, right up until the moment your parents started blowing up your phone.
”Sorry”, you gave Frank half a smile as you dug out your phone to turn the sound off, only to find your notifications blasted with messages from both your mom and dad. The sight made you nervous and you lingered, staring at the screen with familiar anxiety and guilt swirling in the pit of your stomach, and Frank was fast to pick up on it.
”Somethin’ wrong, sweetheart?” he questioned softly, not wanting to sound accusatory or too curious. You knew that, in fact, his gentle but gruff voice brought you solace and got you to snap out of your darkening thoughts.
”Yeah, it’s just— my mom, she’s…”, you stuttered, not sure how to even begin explaining the situation you had been dragged into, but you didn’t have the time when your phone started buzzing. ”And now she’s calling me”, you sighed, running your hand across your face as you hopped off of the truck, ”I’m sorry, I’ll be quick.”
Even though you put distance between you and Frank, the night was quiet enough for him to hear the shouting emerging from the other end of the phone. It left a heavy feeling in his chest, his jaw clenched as he watched you sniffle and shake. It made him want to hold you and shield you and push away anyone who dared to disturb the peace within you, but right now, all he could do was sit there and uneasily follow how you tried to defend yourself through the phone.
When you raised your voice, a surge of pride took over him — you really didn’t seem like the type to yell without reason, nor did you pick fights willingly, but he loved to see you at least try and stand up for yourself. It was in that moment that he realized you were used to it. This was a normal situation for you; you had already grown numb to these arguments, and that pained him immensely to understand. You deserved far better, and that was something he wanted you to hear out loud.
Once you hung up and returned to the truck, wiping your eyes and pretending like your mom hadn’t made you cry, Frank was quick to react. He helped you cuddle up to him, and once you were nestled into his arms, he took in a deep breath.
”Hey, listen, uh… I don’t wanna overstep, but ya know it ain’t right the way they treat you, right?” he noted carefully, trying to be respectful even if he felt strongly about it. He had fallen for you completely, but even if he hadn’t, he wouldn’t have wanted to see you hurt by anyone — but especially not your parents.
You shrugged, feeling a little embarrassed. ”It’s just how it’s always been. I know it sucks but they’re my parents”, you explained, not really sure how else to justify it. Of course, it hurt to be treated that way, but you didn’t know how to break that pattern after all these years.
”Christ, darlin’… I’m real sorry to hear that. No parent should ever be like that towards their kid. You ever wanna rant about it to me, ’m all ears”, he promised, looking down at you with sympathy shining in his eyes. It made you smile, and for the first time in a long while, you felt heard and appreciated.
Even though you felt like the date had been something of a disaster, it hadn’t scared Frank away. He stuck around, always wanting to see and hear more of you, and eventually, the string of date nights turned into sharing a bed and holding hands in public. Frank couldn’t imagine being called someone’s boyfriend, not after what he had already been and lost, but that was what he became and you couldn’t have been happier about it.
As you began dating, your problems with your parents persisted. Frank helped you set some boundaries, but that didn’t go well with your mother and father, who instantly labelled your new boyfriend as a bad influence who was trying to drive a wedge between you and your family. It wasn’t easy, trying to prove to Frank that you could do it but also maintaining the peace with your parents.
Still, like he had before, Frank tried to not get too involved — he was protective of you, but he couldn’t force you to cut off your parents. But when you came home in tears one day, he was pushed over the edge.
You slammed the door shut, hiccuping from the power of your cries, and within seconds, Frank was alerted from the bedroom where he had been changing the sheets. He knew you were going to visit your parents, and he wanted to make everything at home perfect for you to take off any excess stress, but you were back earlier than he had anticipated, which was enough to tip him off that something had gone wrong.
”Hey, hey, c’mere”, Frank rushed to your side, his arms winding around your figure to pull you into his chest. You crashed against him, sobbing freely into his shirt, and caressed your hair while softly swaying from side to side. ”Shh, sh, sh, it’s okay, sweetheart. I’m right here”, he comforted you, worry roaring inside him but he knew the most important thing right now was to calm you down before you’d spiral further.
Sniffling, you listened to the rumble of his voice in your ear and let it guide you out of the pain surrounding you. Your head throbbed from all the crying, but slowly, Frank got you to stop, the hurting still inside you but the tears ceasing their flow.
”There you go, attagirl. It’s aight. Wanna tell me what happened?” he inquired, approaching the subject caution to avoid making you cry more. Still, that innate concern and love he had for you pushed him to wonder in the hopes that he could do something to help.
”It was a mess. She was making dinner but ended up spilling the whole pot and she said it was because I distracted her. And then my dad got really mad and started yelling and next thing I know, they’re both screaming at me”, you explained with an obvious tremble in your voice, feeling so guilty. ”I just can’t do anything right, they always blame me for everything”, you added with a defeated sigh, pulling away from Frank enough to wipe your eyes and peel your coat off.
He watched you hang up your coat and take off your shoes, his anger starting to bubble up at what he was hearing. ”It ain’t your fault, baby, I promise. They’re actin’ like assholes for no reason. You do everythin’ for them and they should appreciate it so goddamn much more”, he insisted, his eyebrows knitted together and his arms folding over his chest.
”Thanks, Frankie”, you gave him a quiet smile before padding over to the kitchen for some water. He could tell you didn’t want to talk about it more, but he wasn’t satisfied.
”Alright. I’m headin’ out, sweetheart. I’ll be back shortly, promise”, he announced, pulling on his boots quickly and leaving the apartment after catching you in a deep, slow kiss. He hoped that the feeling of his lips on yours told you how much he cared about you, and how bad he felt for you, but in case it wasn’t enough, he made a quick decision to head over to your parents to speak his mind.
The whole drive there, he was seething on the inside. He had been determined not to intervene, but this was the last straw for him. He had watched them hurt you and ridicule you for months, and he wasn’t able to do it a second longer. They had a true gem in you, and the fact that they couldn’t see it drove Frank crazy. He, for one, was never going to take you for granted.
He arrived at your parents’ house and didn’t waste time in banging on the door. Your father opened it, and immediately tried to say something to protest Frank being there, but he cut him off before he could even get started.
”Nah, you listen to me. I’m gettin’ real sick of the way you’re treatin’ my girl. I want y’all to get your shit together and start appreciatin’ her for all that she does, ’cause she’s fuckin’ incredible. You don’t deserve her, but she’s willing to love you, anyway, and all you gotta do is love her back. For her sake, I hope one day she’s able to cut your sorry asses off but until then, I’mma make sure to defend her, you got that?” he raved on, feeling so hurt on your behalf. You had limitless patience for your parents and he couldn’t deny that he might have been the same way in your shoes, always one to put family first, but it wasn’t easy to watch from the sidelines.
”She’s the best thing to ever happen to me and I think it’s the same for you. So, cut her some goddamn slack, will you?” Frank finished, huffing in your father’s face before turning on his heel and stomping back to his truck. He wasn’t sticking around for a fight — all he wanted to do was stand up for you and that was that. He didn’t know if it was going to work, obviously, but he didn’t regret doing it. He felt like it had been necessary, like your parents really needed to hear it, even if it wasn’t coming from you. It was worth a shot, anyway.
He drove back home and once he made it inside the apartment, he found you curled up on the couch in front of the TV, no longer crying but clearly upset. His heart broke a little at the sight of you so sad, and he swiftly undid his boots, so that he could crawl up on the space next to you and pull you into his arms.
”Had a talk with your parents”, he spoke up, and you instinctively looked up at him, a surprised look on your face. ”Dunno if it’s gonna do anythin’, but I had to defend my girl. I feel real shitty about the way they treat you, sweetheart”, he elaborated, and slowly, a smile formed on your lips.
”You’re the best”, you whispered, dropping your head onto his shoulders. ”I know I shouldn’t let them but it’s hard to stand up to them. And it’s harder to even consider just turning my back on them”, you continued, and with an understanding nod, Frank pressed a kiss on the crown of your head.
”Yeah, baby, I know it is. You don’t gotta do anythin’
you don’t wanna. I support you either way, y’know that. I just hate to see you hurt”, he sighed, squeezing you tightly.
”Thank you. For everything. For being you”, you told him, genuine appreciation in your tone as you hugged his firm body.
Frank smiled, happy that his presence was enough to make you feel better. ”Love you, sweetheart. I got you.”

It’s cold. You can feel the goosebumps rising on your skin, your body shivering as you come to.
It’s dark. You open your eyes and see nothing at first, nothing but total blackness in front of you. Something feels very strange, and a flare of anxiety roars in the pit of your stomach, your heart racing fast in your ears. You feel cold metal beneath you, and as your eyes adjust, you see the shape of metal bars in front of you.
A cage. You’re in a cage, and there is a blanket thrown over it. Leaning closer and blinking your eyes wildly, your focus comes to, and you can see through the veil of the thin blanket covering the cage. You only see shadowy hunks of furniture, a table covered with some sorts of tools and objects, a staircase nearby leading towards the only source of light. Your breath comes fast through your mouth, chest heaving as panic surges through you like electricity.
How did you get here?
You remembered being on your daily morning walk through the Westview suburban neighborhood. You did that every morning. It seemed like it was always spring in the little town, always sunny with cool breezes and chirping birds. You soaked up every second at the rise of dawn when the town was still sleepy and quiet.
You minded your business. You didn’t talk to anyone except for your neighbors, Wanda and Agatha. There was the occasional conversation on the street. Wanda’s hand waving politely to you from her porch as you passed by on your walks. Agatha helping herself to your front door, always visiting you and inviting you over, which oftentimes you declined just out of being antisocial.
They were both different shades of nosy neighbors. Agatha was confrontational and upfront, wanting to hold lengthy conversations every time she saw you, always snooping around and asking personal questions. Wanda was a different kind of nosy. She watched you from afar, always. You’d learned to live with their eyes on you, but you didn’t always mind Wanda’s. She seemed like a nice woman, though you hadn’t been able to understand why she seemed so interested in you. You also didn’t understand why you seemed equally interested in her.
That morning, Agatha had caught you on your morning walk right as you were quickly jogging past her house, wary of her stopping you as she always did. Of course, it seemed like she knew the exact schedule of your walks and came outside right as you passed.
“Why don’t you come in for tea, dear!” she had said, boldly grabbing your hands. You remembered how tight her grip was. “I make the best tea in town!”
You were tired of always declining her invitations. You didn’t want to seem rude. You were just the lonely girl next door who minded her business and didn’t want to get mixed up with anyone in town, but she was persuasive and consistent. So, you said yes. You went into her house and found it quaint but charming inside. She led you into the kitchen to make the first cup of tea, and you sipped it slowly as she talked about random things.
She offered to make you another, one to go that you could sip on your walk.
You remembered her saying in the kitchen that she didn’t have any tea left in there but kept some in stock downstairs in the basement. She ushered you to follow her so she could show you her wide tea collection. You remembered stepping down those concrete steps into cold darkness. You don’t remember ever seeing her tea collection.
Shivering in the cage, you tried to cross your arms around your body—something suddenly felt very strange to you. For the first time, you glanced down at yourself. At first, you thought you saw your normal hands and normal arms and legs. Your brain was used to seeing the same body every time it looked down, so it tricked you in the dark. As you looked closer, the horrifying realization washed over you as you realized that your hands were now small paws wrapped in black fur.
You tried to scream, but it was like something was wrong in your throat. You only let out an animalistic shriek, a sort of growling and hissing screech. You stumbled in the cage, your back hitting the metal bars. It was then you saw your cat tail, and your hind legs, and you could see the shadow of whiskers in the corner of your eyes, protruding from your own face.
Your entire body, much smaller now, trembled and shivered, and you could feel the line of fur rising stiffly on the strip of your back. What the hell happened to me?
Your heart rate was faster now, faster than you had ever heard it in your entire life, and your ears flinched and stretched as they picked up noises nearby. Your hearing was shockingly acute—you could hear birds somewhere above the ground, outside of the basement you were now caged in. You could hear a car drive past, the sound of a phone ringing in someone else’s house down the block.
You crumpled into the corner of the cage and bent your body into itself, dwindling your new body down into a pathetic ball. You could smell everything—the iron in the metal cage, the dust on the walls, perfumes of strange potion-like smells from inside the basement.
Then you heard the front door open inside the house upstairs. Your eyes widened, pupils constricting as your ears twitched to listen. Footsteps down the hallway, the muffled sounds of Agatha’s voice, then another’s.
Wanda’s voice.
Your tail fluffed up when you heard the heavy door to the basement squeak open. You wished you knew what time of day it was, but it was completely dark in the basement. You could just barely see through the blanket as two pairs of legs walked down the stairs and towards your cage. You tried to back further away, but your fur was touching metal.
“The entrapment itself wasn’t so difficult,” Agatha’s voice spoke languidly. It was so much different from how her voice usually sounded—endearing, pleasant, charming. It was harsh and deep now, like she had pulled off a mask and was happy to be her usual deviant self again. “A few drops of draught in her tea, and she surrendered.” Her harsh laugh hurt your ears.
She poisoned my tea? you thought to yourself, fear broiling hot and deep inside you. You didn’t know it was possible to feel this afraid.
“I will admit,” Agatha said as her and Wanda’s legs stopped right in front of the cage. “The transfiguration itself was…difficult. Her body resisted, the stubborn little thing. I thought maybe she’d do well as a bunny, or even a turtle… Well, I hope you’re not allergic to cats because…”
The blanket was suddenly lifted from the cage. Even in the dark basement, the adjustment of light burned your eyes, and you let out an instinctive hiss, jumping up on your legs and turning your side flat against the back of the cage, back and tail fluffed into black, pointy spikes of fur. You felt a flare of passion in how intimidating you probably looked, but as you looked up at Wanda and Agatha who towered over you like giants, you realized just how small you were now.
Agatha crossed her arms and looked disdainfully at you, pursing her lips in disappointment. Wanda, on the other hand, was staring down at you with wide, misty eyes, her mouth forming into a soft, “Oh… y/n.”
Your eyes darted between the two women, and the dark of the basement grew even brighter as your pupils swarmed wide, your vision throbbing with your own fear. Your entire body was quivering and tensing uncontrollably, your back starting to ache.
Wanda leaned down slowly so that she came closer to the cage. Through the bars, you saw the teary look in her eyes. “Is she… still…”
“She’s still there in the head, unfortunately,” Agatha said, looking at you like you were rodent. “I know that’s what you wanted.” There was venom in her voice, but then she sighed and spoke happily again. “This is your first step to becoming a proper witch, not that you need my help in the power area.” She clicked her tongue jealously. “But a familiar is necessary for a witch’s emotional wellbeing.” She looked over at Wanda, eyes flickering down her to try and read her.
You stared up into Wanda’s big green eyes that looked now like shimmering full moons. You wanted to scream, to ask them what the hell they were talking about, to undo whatever Agatha had done to you, but all you could let out was a little catlike whimper.
“Oh, baby,” Wanda cooed, “It’s okay. You’re okay. Don’t be scared.” She started to put her hand through the bars of the cage slowly, her fingers passing between the metal. A hot instinct struck you from the inside, and without thinking, you hissed and swatted your paw towards her hand. You felt your claws, which you didn’t even realize you had, tear at her skin.
Wanda gasped and withdrew her hand, clutching it to her stomach. You saw a long, jagged scratch mark on the back of her hand, and felt overwhelmingly shocked and guilty at how fast it started to bleed.
“Bad kitty!” Agatha exclaimed and kicked the cage. The jolting motion scared you and you lost balance, clambering to crawl back into the corner of the cage into a defensive little ball.
“No, it’s okay,” Wanda quickly said, looking up to Agatha. “She’s just scared.” She looked back to you, forgetting all about her hand which was now dripping blood on the floor. “Can she transform back…into human?”
Agatha subtly rolled her eyes. “Yes,” she said reluctantly, “But it would probably take me days to do it. It would involve a lot of magic—”
Wanda cut her off by raising her hand, red embers flowering between her fingers. You suddenly felt a strange motion inside you, your body stretching and skin changing as you started to swell in size. You squeezed your eyes shut and let out an ear-piercing snarl, and slowly it turned into a human scream.
It stopped, finally. You opened your eyes and found that suddenly the cage was too small for you, and Wanda and Agatha were normal size again. You looked down—you saw your human hands and arms and legs, your normal skin. You were human again, bent nakedly in the small cage. You wrapped your arms around your body to cover yourself.
Agatha looked shocked and infuriated at the fact that Wanda had so easily changed you back, after all the work Agatha had done to transfigure you. “Well…” She cleared her throat and adjusted her shirt. “Just do that when you want her to be a cat again.”
You shivered in the cold of the cage, too afraid to speak in fear that the only thing that would come out were unintelligible meows. Even now, back in your human state, you felt unimaginably different, like something had shifted in your DNA. You could still hear and smell everything, down to the metallic scent of the blood on Wanda’s hand, and the sound of her own heart beating to make up for the lack.
It shocked you how differently Wanda was looking at you compared to how Agatha looked at you. Wanda looked mesmerized, hopeful, and guilty all in one. Her eyes flickered over you, and she started to slide her hand through the cage again. You felt the urge to scratch her again, but you realized your claws were now dull fingernails, and you didn’t like the way you had so primally swatted at her and how easily she had bled.
“Kitten,” she whispered, bringing her hand to your face. You cowered away but she continued, gently moving your hair with the tips of her fingers. Something in you wanted to purr, but you didn’t. “I’ll call you Kitten.”
The first few days of being Wanda’s familiar were tough. While she politely kept you in your human form, she kept you in a cage in her bedroom, a larger one that you could fit in, and told you rather apologetically that she must keep you there until she can trust you. You were silent at first, pained and confused by what had happened to you, until you started to break. You grabbed at the bars of the cage and jumped at her, screaming, “Let me out! Please let me out!”
You could see how much her heart broke at your refusal and denial, but what did she expect? You had been captured and sold like a slave. Even then, screaming at her and shaking the bars of the cage like an animal, you could feel that something had been bonded between you. Something changed—not just within you, but between the two of you. There was some kind of link connecting you.
She would open her mouth to say something, outreach her hand to comfort you, but you would not stop screaming. So she flicked her hand, and you shrunk down into your feline form again, your screams turning into wily meows and screeches. She would throw the blanket over the cage again and leave you there until you stopped making noises, until your throat burned and you tired yourself out.
Eventually, you calmed. The realization began to sink within you that you had been living around witches and fallen dumbly into their trap. Wanda called Agatha a few times, and through the walls of the house you heard her speaking. “Maybe we shouldn’t have done this… No, I am grateful, Agatha, I know it took a lot for you…I just feel like she’s not happy…I know that it takes time, but… Okay.”
Within a week, you stopped lunging at her from the cage, and though you had refused the food she offered you at first, whenever you were in feline form you could not resist the fish and milk she offered you in little bowls, lapping hungrily as if it was the last thing you would ever eat. Eventually, while she fed you, you felt her reach through the cage and comb her fingers through the fur between your ears. You froze for a moment, but you acquiesced, continuing to eat and let her pet your head. It was soothing, more soothing than you’d like to admit.
She let you out of the cage during the day and kept you in human form, giving you her clothes to wear around the house. There was one rule that was obvious—no running away. Of course, you tried, but the entire house was hexed so that no one could get out or get in except for Wanda. You started to wonder what her intentions were for keeping you here. From her phone calls with Agatha, it was apparent that you were meant to be some sort of companion to her. But she hardly spoke to you, even when she let you out of your cage and you sat on the couch watching TV together.
The bond started to grow stronger. You realized that you could hear her thoughts. When she dropped something on accident, you could hear her say Oh, shit even though the words never escaped her lips. When she prepared food for you, you could hear her thinking I hope she likes this. You had a feeling that she caught on and was now protecting her thoughts from you, because you could hear no further than mundane thoughts.
But she couldn’t protect her emotions from you. You started to realize, as you slept in the cage in the corner of her room at night, that something tragic and painful radiated from Wanda. It was grief, cold, and menacing. It gripped her helplessly. Although your life before being her familiar was fading away from your mind, you could remember that her house, which you could see across the street from yours, usually had two little boys and a man running in and out of it. Now it was totally empty besides her and yourself. Picture frames were turned on their faces, making it appear as if no one had ever lived there but her.
You learned that Wanda had only recently started to become a witch, though her powers already ten times that of Agatha’s. The Scarlet Witch, Agatha told her over the phone. The most powerful being in the universe, but she was baking you cookies and feeding you treats and putting a blanket over you at night and giving you all the space you needed and crying herself to sleep every night. For someone who could cause total destruction, all she seemed to you was soft and sad.
The urge to comfort her was strong. At night, she preferred to keep you in feline form in the cage so you wouldn’t be able to reach the latch and unlock it. Before you walked into the cage, you would butt your forehead against her ankle, twisting around her leg so that your tail curled around her knee. She was so moved by these little moments of affection, and it warmed you to bring them to her.
Wanda often studied from a big, old book during the day. She would sort of transform, her sweatpants and hoodie fading into a deep red suit fitted with a crown. She looked so majestic like that, hovering above the air, flipping through the pages of the book without even touching them, encompassed in her own red glow of magic. You would watch her curiously, between the glimpses of your attention grabbed by birds outside the window.
Wanda started to let you have more freedom. The cage is tucked inside the closet now, and the only time she turns you into feline form is when she takes you on walks outside, holding the red leash she had bought to connect to your red cat harness. It was a wonderful delight, experiencing the world that way, stimulated by every single movement and sound and smell. She had to keep you in that form on your walks because to everyone else in the town, you had simply disappeared.
Wanda gives you your own bedroom in the house, which you used for a couple nights, but you found yourself sneaking into her room and sleeping on the cot made up beside her bed on the floor, and one time you even woke up to find that you had crawled onto the bed and curled up on her feet in the night. It all happened so quickly and mindlessly, your love for her, your attraction to her, your loyalty to her. You weren’t just a familiar now, bound to her by magic, but you were her friend.
You started to fall in love with the way she smiled. You had a habit of knowing just how to make her laugh, and you basked in the glow of her giggles. She confessed to you that she had a crush on you ever since you moved into town, but she was too afraid to pursue it, even after Vision was gone. One intimate night by the fireplace in the living room, she said that she regretted telling Agatha about her crush on you, because it gave Agatha the idea to give you to Wanda as a familiar, as a gift. She said that she didn’t want you to be taken by force, that she wanted you to want to be with her. She even glanced to the unhexed door and told you, without thinking, You are free to leave. I will not hold you hostage.
It was then that you placed your hand on her thigh and tilted your head, looking at her wavy red hair and absorptive green eyes and trembling pink lips, and thought to her, Never would I want to leave you. It was then that you kissed for the first time, a slow and careful one. She was scared to kiss you too hard, to upset you, to make you want to run away since she had given you the option for freedom. Truth be told, you’d never felt freer in your life than when you were with Wanda.
She was happier after that. Your relationship, which had been rocky and reluctant at first, bloomed into something more than just a witch and her familiar. Your love grew like wildflowers in the pit of your bellies, deepening the spiritual bond that was already there between you. The relationship turned into something romantic, intimate, and special. It turned into desire that showed its head one night.
Although Wanda was happier now, she still had her moments when she missed her boys. You were sleeping beside her that night in her bed, arm cast over her, when you awoke not to a sound, but to a feeling. It stirred you awake forcefully, and the grief radiating from her stabbed you in the gut. You opened your eyes and gently turned her to face you—she was quietly crying.
“Wanda,” you whispered, gently holding her face and wiping her tears from her cheeks. “What is it, my love?”
“Detka,” she whispered, reaching up to stroke your cheek with her thumb. “Everyone has left me. My parents, my brother, Vision, my boys…” She stopped, a cry choking her throat. “I don’t know if I could take it if I ever lost you, too.”
Your heart broke at the sound of hers. You took her hand in yours. “That’s not going to happen.”
“I’m sorry that you ended up here,” she cried, sniffling and looking anywhere but you, too afraid to look at you and see hatred in your eyes. She had a habit of letting her mind get to her. “I’m afraid that you’re only with me because I forced you to be.”
Leaning closer to her, you looked deeply into her eyes, hoping that she heard how loud your love for her screamed from within you. “I want to be with you,” you told her firmly, and she listened, staring up at you with such vulnerability and conviction it made your eyes water. “I love you. Even if I hadn’t ended up here this way, we still would have been together. I love you in a million lifetimes and a million universes. I will never, ever, ever leave you.” You meant every word.
Wanda’s hand caressed your cheek and brought your face to hers, kissing you in the same soft, sweet kiss she always did. You always felt that twinge of desire within her, waiting for her to unleash it one day, desperate to seal your romance. But she was too scared to hurt you, too afraid of scaring you away.
Resting your body on top of hers in the quiet, dark bedroom, you kissed her deeply, running your tongue along her lower lip before slipping it inside her mouth, feeling her tongue slide against yours. Her body grew hot under you, her chest moving with the weight of her intensified breaths. She made a sort of strangled noise, her hand coming to your throat. You melted under the feeling of her fingertips dipping into your neck, but then she gently pushed you away.
Your mouth was wet with her kiss, and she was breathing hard, looking at you with both lust-filled and pain-filled eyes. It isn’t fair to you, she thought. She felt that the position of power was unbalanced, and she feared taking advantage of you even though she had thought about it so many times in her mind, had even blocked you from hearing her thoughts as she laid beside you at night and touched herself to the sight and smell of you beside her.
“It’s unfair for you to deprive me,” you whispered to her, pressing closer on her, feeling her hand tighten around your throat. “I need you. I want you.”
There was hesitance in her eyes as they scoured your face, looking and feeling for any sort of dishonesty. She wanted you to truly want her.
“Please,” you begged, trying to lean forward and kiss her again, but her hand on your throat held you away from her. You clawed at it, letting out a mewling sound that embarrassed you a little. Even in human form, you felt the urge to purr her for.
“Kitten,” she whispered, eyes falling to your lips and looking at them with desperation as her teeth bit into her own. “Are you sure?”
You nodded feverishly. “Yes, please. Yes.”
Finally, she gives in with a whimper, pulling you towards her to kiss you again. Her hands run over your waist, pressing you close to her as her tongue deeply explores your mouth. The blankets fall over your bodies as you move together, clothes coming off one by one until your skin is flushed together.
“Kitten,” Wanda moans when you move your lips to her neck, leaving butterfly kisses on her sensitive skin there. Her hands tangle in your hair as you move your mouth downwards, desperate to please her, desperate to love and cherish her body as much as you love and cherish her soul. Your mouth explores the expanse of her chest, the concaves of her clavicle, the rise and swell of her breasts which you grope and suck into your mouth, delighting in the noises she makes as your mouth lingers there. You go further down her body as if drinking down the winding expanse of a river, leaving trails of wet kisses down her stomach and hips until you’re stationed between her legs that open for you.
“Please,” she begs, urging her hips upwards as you bite and kiss at her thighs, inhaling the scent of her arousal that already sweetens the air. You don’t hesitate to give her what she wants, letting her hands in your hair guide your head to her slit. “Oh, fuck,” she breathes, her chest arching off the bed as you lap at her sensitive nub and suckle at it, feeling her juices cling to your chin.
Her breathing gets faster as her hips buck hard against your mouth, her fingers clutching your hair to push your head down harder. She seems to remember herself and loosen up, not wanting to hurt you, even in her pleasure. You moan at the taste of her, swallowing down every drop that collects on your tongue as you fervently pleasure her with your mouth.
“Kitten,” she cries, her voice rising in pitch as she grinds harder against your tongue, pulling your face impossibly closer to her. “Fuck, fuck,” she whispers in the most delightful string of curses you had ever heard as she comes to a climax, her thighs trembling around her face that is hot from the heat of her desire. You soothe her through her orgasm, lapping softer and sweeter, until finally she sighs and pulls you up.
You crawl up her body, shocked to see the flame of red in her cheeks, the tremble in her lower lip as she kisses you roughly. Whining, you wrap your arms around her shoulders as she sits up, her hands snaking down your waist and over your hips to grab the swells of your ass, squeezing you closer to her. She grunts into the kiss, breaking away to catch her breath.
“Did I please you?” you ask her breathlessly as she starts biting at your nipples, bringing a squeak from your throat. Your hands swim in her curls of hair as she groans a sound of confirmation, her tongue licking at your nipple before she bites it again, her hands on your ass tightening their grip.
Before you know it, she flips you around so that you’re on your back and she’s hovering over you, her mouth now biting at your shoulder and neck. “Can I touch you?” she asks, her fingertips quivering over the lower expanse of your tummy.
“Yes,” you whisper, feeling your face go hot as her hand dips down eagerly between your legs to cup you. You hum, feeling sparkles of pleasure fill you as her fingers rub at your clit perfectly, as if she somehow already knows exactly what pleases you. “Oh…” you moan, trying to pull her closer to you as her hands slip down over your folds, collecting your immense wetness that you hadn’t even realized was there until Wanda moaned at the feeling of it.
Looking down at the sight, Wanda slowly pushes two of her fingers inside you, listening to the way you gasp and moan as she slides them all the way in, spreading them out and moving them around to gauge your tightness—tight. Pumping them in and out, she feels for your sweet spot, finding that ridged spot tucked deep inside you and pressing at it.
Your hips jump suddenly from the feeling, back arching off the bed as she feels you from the inside. “Wanda,” you moan desperately as she thrusts her fingers slowly at first, until they pick up speed and her mouth is at your neck again, sucking dark spots into the fair skin there.
Something carnal unlocks inside Wanda at the way you moan her name, the way your hands are pulling her desperately closer, the way your walls clench and throb around her fingers. She lets out a whine and fucks her fingers harder into you, her own hips thrusting eagerly.
“That’s it, Kitten,” she whispers when she feels you tightening, your thighs trapping her hand between them. “Cum for me.”
A cry escapes your throat as hot, searing pleasure washes over you, Wanda’s fingers ushering your orgasm along within you. She shudders at the feeling of you cumming around her fingers, whining in desperation to be even deeper inside you, stretching you out even more, needing to be even closer to you.
You’re panting and still coming down when she pulls her fingers out of you, and glowing red magic flares from them, illuminating your bodies in momentary crimson light in the darkness. Suddenly, in a flash of red, there is a large dildo strapped to her hips, and she starts to lubricate it with your wetness on her fingers, stroking around the tip gently.
Anticipation fills you as she settles between your legs, pausing to look carefully at your face and stroke some of your hair away softly. “Are you okay? C-Can I?” She’s trembling with desperation.
“Yes,” you smile, gently running your hand up her arm. “I want it.”
Licking her lips, she smiles a little and leans down to kiss you gently, letting her body weight settle over you. She breaks the kiss to look down, her breath heavy, as she lines the tip of her strap to your wet entrance, slowly pushing herself into you. You take a deep breath as she slides deeper, your walls stretching around the widening girth. It becomes a little painful, and you let out a strangled whine.
Wanda stops suddenly, looking up at you with wide eyes. “Am I hurting you?”
“No,” you whisper, placing your hands on her face. “Just go slow, please.”
She nods, pressing her lips to yours again as she pushes her cock even slower inside you, one arm wrapped around you and keeping you close to her. She keeps her mouth on yours as she fills you deeper and deeper, stretches you out even more and more until her cock is lodged fully inside you, resting so deep that you can feel her in your lower tummy.
Your breaths fall shakily against each other as she dares not to break the kiss, as if for every ounce of the pain she is kissing it better. She stays still for a moment to let you adjust before she starts to pull out, and the pain comes back again, but so does the immense pleasure. She does this for a minute, just barely pumping inside you, kissing you gently.
After a while, you can tell that she’s holding back. Her hand swipes over your lower tummy when she is at her deepest, feeling the bulge of her cock there, and she groans, breaking the kiss to bury her face in your neck. “Kitten…” she breathes, her body moving on top of yours as she retracts her hips and then buries deep inside you again.
Your hands run up her bare back to find that she is incredibly tensed, using every ounce of her strength to withhold from absolutely ravishing you. You goad her by hooking one leg up around her and bucking your hips. “Faster,” you whisper, feeling yourself throb with need. “Fuck me, Wanda.”
Wanda instantly obliges, her hand grabbing your thigh that is hooked around her as she pulls out and then snaps her hips harshly into you, bringing out a gasp from your lips. She growls and does this again, and again, and again, until she is pounding you into the mattress and squelches from your wetness fill the air.
“Oh, fuck,” you moan, arching your chest against her as she drills into you, letting out her own symphony of noises. She is desperate and animalistic, driving herself into you with the force of something primal and carnal. You become a melted mess of nothing beneath her, barely able to keep up with her power and hunger as you scratch helplessly at her back, feeling cuts form there on her skin.
“Kitten, fuck,” she growls into your neck. Your bodies are pressed flat against one another, humid skin rubbing smoothly against each another as she forces herself into you fast and hard. She’s shaking again, grabbing your thigh so hard it bruises under her touch. Her teeth sink hard into your neck, but you don’t even feel it from the blinding force of pleasure coming over you. You’re both feeding off each other’s pleasure, soul and body and mind and heart connected, tangled so deeply with each other that you wouldn’t even know where your body starts and hers ends. You can tell she’s been waiting for this night, as much as she has held it from you. She is letting it all out now, her love and her pain and her desire and her grief. You’re the vessel for her soul, taking in every single thing and inch that she’s giving you.
You can feel pressure twisting within you, and your hips start to move and legs squirm against her, but with two hands bruising into your hips, she holds you still and pins your hips to the mattress. “St-still,” she says, leaning up to press sloppy kisses to your mouth. Her eyes are squeezed shut and her mouth is open, and it’s the most glorious sight you’ve ever seen.
“Fuck!” she groans, dropping her face back into your neck as her hips stutter, thrusting wildly and aimlessly into you.
“Wanda,” you whine as your climax crashes down on you, and with another string of curses and growls from the witch, hers does too. You’re blinded as she fucks into you as she cums, your nails scratching hard at her back.
It’s an orchestra of grabbing, thrusting, and moaning until you both slow down, and her weight rests fully on top of you, her body going limp as she breathes hard into your neck. Panting, you close your eyes and just feel her, her heart beating hard against your own, her body warm against yours, her cock still tucked deep inside you, a bundle of wetness between both of your legs, both still trembling.
Eventually, she moves up, looking down at you with a placated look in her eyes, as if she has been hungry for years and is finally fulfilled. “Are you okay?” she asks sweetly, as if she isn’t still ten inches deep in you.
You nod, reaching up to stroke her face. For the first time, you don’t feel grief radiating off her, nor do you hear painful thoughts of insecurity and trauma. She is just Wanda, your satisfied little witch, and you her loyal familiar, bound to each other in life and in death, in spirit and in flesh.
She smiles widely, those green moons filling with euphoria.

The Past Reborn
I was re-reading  “Dear Diary”  and this wicked angst popped into my head…. I'm not sorry I like making people cry! I'm just sorry Alex, Mee Maw, and Pop Pop are a angst farm some how
Final part here BTW
Warnings: Farmer go boom, I kinda blow up the ASS trio, Alex punches Sam, Cursing, ANGST, its 3 am ill come fix any errors later
Alex had always hated that you used bombs. The first time he found out was when you used some to clear out boulders on your property. That caused a few arguments, but he just wanted you safe. I mean, look at his grandfather.  Though Alex wasn't born when his grandfather had his dynamite accident, the story was a haunting family legend. The accident was a constant reminder of the dangers of explosives. George narrowly escaped with his life but was left wheelchair-bound. For Alex, the story was a cautionary tale. Even without witnessing it, the vivid descriptions from his grandparents painted a clear picture. It instilled in him a deep-seated fear and aversion to using any explosives.
Every time you mentioned using explosives, Alex felt a surge of anxiety. He knew you were careful, but the inherent risk always loomed large in his mind. The fear of a repeat of his grandfather's fate was a constant source of stress. Ultimately, Alex's concerns were rooted in love and a deep desire to see you safe. He couldn't bear the thought of losing you to an avoidable accident.
Today was one of the many arguments over your use of explosives. “I don't care if it's faster! I don't want you using them, Farmer!” He grabbed the back of the couch, his head held low. “Please.” He begged shaking the couch slightly, looking over at you, tears welling up in his eyes. "Please..." He was scared that he'd lose you; he had already lost his parents, and his grandparents weren't getting any younger. You are his rock.
“Alex, baby.” He watched as you walked over and carefully took his face in one hand, taking his hand in the other, pulling him into a hug. “Ok… I'll stop, ok,” you said, kissing his cheek and holding him close. Alex sighed out brokenly, warm tears still falling as he held you tightly. “Thank you, babe, thank you,” he said, kissing the top of your head as he rocked you slowly, so happy he had gotten you to listen. The weight of his fear seemed to lift slightly, knowing you understood the depth of his concern. You could feel his body shaking as he clung to you, each sob making your heartache.
You had sold some but Abigail, Sam, and Sebastian had bought some. He observed as they excitedly packed their bags with the tools for their next mining expedition. Abigail carefully tucked the cherry bombs into her pouch, while Sam and Sebastian joked about blowing up rocks. It gnawed at him, this uneasy feeling, watching his friends prepare to venture into the depths armed with explosives. Yet, he remained silent, conflicted between his concern for their safety and his respect for their autonomy as adults. He also didn't think any amount of begging would get the Three Stooges to listen to him like it worked for you.
Alex remembered it was a warm Wednesday afternoon. Haley, Emily and Him hanging outside with Dusty before Emily's shift started. “Where's your lover today?” Haley teased poking Alex in the side. Rolling his eyes he pushed her hand away chuckling at her. “They said they needed something from the mines.” He said crossing his arms and watching Emily play tug of war with Dusty. “Oh, I think Abigail and the boys headed down as well.” Emily piped up as she pulled the dog toy back and forth. “I asked Abby if she had any crystals and she said she was going to get more.” Alex nodded and shrugged.
“More people the better, no one will get snuck up o-” Suddenly screams filled the air, Abigail and Sebastian’s. “HARVEY!!!! HARVEY!!!” The two were a blur as they ran down the steps booking it to Harvey's Clinic. As the screams pierced the air, Alex's mind raced, grappling with the stark reality of the situation. His heart pounded against his chest, each beat echoing the urgency of the moment. He struggled to control his breathing, feeling the panic rise within him like a tidal wave threatening to engulf him.
 The sight of Sebastian's anguish-stricken face, his arms wrapped protectively around the injured figure of the Farmer, seared into Alex's consciousness, leaving an indelible mark of despair. It was a moment frozen in time, one that would haunt him for days to come, his heart sinks at the sight of your limp body, covered in burns that blister and ooze, and bruises that mar your once flawless skin. Your head bounces limply against his chest, a painful reminder of the violence you endured. Sebastian and Abigail, though also bruised, seem almost untouched compared to the severity of your injuries. Sweat beads on Alex's forehead as he struggles to comprehend the horror before him, his mind racing with fear and desperation, searching for help in the midst of the chaos.
His eyes remained fixated on the Clinic. Despite Haley and Emily's attempts to draw his attention, his focus was unwavering, ears ringing with a deafening silence. Haley and Emily have to physically make him look at them their mouths moving silently open and shut to Alex. As Haley and Emily exchanged glances looking behind him, his dread intensified, compelling him to turn and face whatever awaited. Sam came limping down the steps after his friends, his limp was more severe than Abigail or Sebastian's injuries. Sam glanced towards Harvey's before meeting the gaze of Alex, Emily, and Haley, guilt etched across his features.
The dull ringing in his ears was replaced with a buzzing anger that drowned out everything else as he glared at Sam, who looked guilty, fully aware of what had transpired. Without realizing it, Alex found himself confronting Sam, pinning him against the wall of Pierre's shop, his forearm pressing into Sam's chest. “WHAT DID YOU DO!”  Alex bellowed, ready to knock Sam's head off, his emotions teetering on the edge, tears threatening to spill. Sam, trembling with fear, raised his hands defensively. “I-Im sorry! I-I did-didn't know!” he stammered, meeting Alex's gaze with a mixture of dread and remorse. “KNOW WHAT!” Alex demanded, slamming Sam into the wall again, ignoring the attempts of Haley and Emily to restrain him. "They... they just came down the ladder! There was no one around, and they just... came down!" Sam explained amidst sobs, offering a fragmented account of how they all ended up injured while trying to fend off the unexpected onslaught. “We tried to stop it!” He sobbed his body shaking with fear and pain from his own burns.
Amidst Alex's growing fury, the truth began to emerge. Sam's actions had set off an explosive chain of events, and Farmer happened to be descending the ladder at that precise moment. Sam, Abigail, and Sebastian sprang into action, attempting to stop the impending disaster, but the Farmer bore the brunt of the blast, followed by Sam, then Sebastian and Abigail, in their desperate but futile attempts to intervene.
Alex's scream pierced the air, raw and primal. Tears streamed down his contorted face, blending with sweat. Fury burned in his eyes, but behind it, terror loomed large. His body trembled, muscles taut, veins bulging. He snapped and decked Sam in the jaw. He had told Farmer to be careful, he let them sell the stupid bombs to these morons, it was his fault…. It was all his fucking fault. You got hurt because of him.
Haley and Emily grabbed Alex pulling him back. “ALEX! STOP IT!” Haley yelled hugging his arm close to her and pulling him back. “Come on, just come on!” Emily said ash she pulled at his other arm. She motioned to Sam with her head as she and her sister pulled Alex off Sam. Pierre and Caroline had come out of their shop during the commotion, having heard Sam's body hit their outer wall, they grabbed Sam and pulled him away as the girls dragged Alex back home.
Evelyn was heading outside and met the trio at the door. “What is going on? Who is screaming like that?” She asked, her eyes landing on her grandson. “Alex, sweetheart…” She said carefully, taking the boy into her arms, and wiping his tears with her thumbs. “What's all the yelling about!” George hollered out as he wheeled himself to the entryway. “Alex punched Sam…” Haley said softly. “What! Alex baby?” Evelyn asked, looking up at him, her eyes full of worry. “He… He blew up Farmer!” Alex cried and sobbed out falling to his knees hugging his grandmother, his sobs loud, his whole body shaking with each sound. Evelyn gasped covering her mouth before hugging Alex back. “Oh Yoba…”
“What happened?!” George barked out looking at the girls his face contorted in anger. “We… don't know,” Haley said softly as she rubbed circles in Alex's back. “Abby and Sebastian came running yelling for Harvey… The Farmer… uhh.” Emily looked at Alex not knowing what to say not wanting to upset him further. “Sam said it was an accident though, you know he'd never do that on purpose,” Emily said, looking at George. Evelyn and George shared a look that only time could read. “Help me get him up, sweetheart.” Evelyn with Haley's help got Alex to his feet and led him into the living room.
Sitting him down on the couch his body shaking, tears and heavy sobs racking his body. Evelyn held him close, petting his hair and letting him sob into her, quietly shushing him. “We have him, girls,” George said softly as he looked back at his wife and grandson. “Thank you, and please, apologize for us.” He said as he led the girls out of the house.
The town had a different heavy atmosphere that day. Three families have to bandage and care for their children, one family has flashbacks to days long past brought to the present, and one life is held in limbo.

Behind Closed Doors (Part 4)
Pairing: Cillian x Y/N
Tumblr media
The next morning, you woke up feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. Today was the day of your 18-week ultrasound, and you were anxious to see your baby. After a quick breakfast, you got ready and headed to the clinic.
When you arrived, you saw Cillian waiting in the lobby. He looked tired, but his eyes lit up when he saw you.
"Hey," he greeted you, kissing your cheek.
"Hi," you replied, feeling a flutter in your stomach that had nothing to do with the baby.
“How are you? Where did you go last night?” you inquired, your voice laced with concern.
“I stayed at Paddy’s,” he shrugged, trying to sound casual.
You nodded, remembering how close he was with his brother. It was a comfort to know he had someone to rely on, but it also reminded you of how isolated you felt sometimes. Most of your family was in England; you had moved here only a few years ago for work. Now, with everything happening, you felt more alone than ever, except for Livvy. Cillian sensed your loneliness and felt a pang of guilt.
“Have you talked to her?” you asked as you both sat down.
“No. I will go home later. I need to talk to Max too, God knows what she has told him,” he said, a saddened expression on his face.
“Hey,” you said softly, taking his hand in yours. The feeling of his warm skin was a small comfort. “Don't worry. He will come around.”
“We have this little one to focus on, don't we?” He changed the topic, placing one hand on your growing bump. His touch was gentle, but the underlying tension in his voice was hard to miss. He wanted to be with you, to support you, but neither of you knew what the other truly wanted.
“It's been giving me quite a hard time. I have been so dizzy lately, I feel like I can't eat enough,” you joked, but on the inside, you were frustrated and always so tired. The constant concern for your baby’s health gnawed at you.
The receptionist called your name, and you both headed into the ultrasound room. The technician greeted you warmly and instructed you to lie down on the examination table. Cillian stood beside you, his hand resting lightly on your shoulder, a silent pillar of support.
“So, how have you been feeling, love?” she questioned as you lifted your shirt.
“Better. The sickness eased off but… I've been so dizzy lately, like I haven't eaten enough,” you confessed, your voice tinged with worry. You felt vulnerable and scared. Though your pregnancy had been relatively easy, you knew how many things could go wrong.
“Well, your body is working hard to support your baby, and that requires plenty of energy,” she said, applying gel on your belly and beginning to move the transducer. “The midwife can give you pills for that.”
Cillian's grip on your shoulder tightened slightly, a silent reassurance that he was there with you. He felt a deep sense of concern knowing how much you had been struggling, wishing he could do more to support you.
“How is the baby? Is everything developing right?” you asked, your heart pounding in your chest. The anxiety that had been your constant companion flared up, making it hard to breathe.
The technician smiled reassuringly. “Everything looks fine. The baby is measuring accordingly.”
A wave of relief washed over you, easing the tight knot of worry in your chest. You looked at the screen, seeing your baby’s tiny form, and felt a surge of love and protectiveness. This little life inside you was all that mattered.
“Do you want to know the sex?” the technician asked, her voice gentle.
You turned to Cillian, waiting for him to decide. He looked at you, his eyes filled with a mixture of hope and uncertainty. “Yes,” he said softly.
“Well, nothing between the legs. It’s a girl,” the technician announced.
Tears welled up in your eyes as you looked at Cillian. “A girl,” you whispered, the reality of it sinking in.
Cillian managed a small, genuine smile. “A girl,” he repeated, his voice filled with wonder but also with the weight of everything he was processing.

Arthur
As frivolous as one may have the impression he is, when the time really calls for it, he will step up.
When the woman started to get anxious, he picked up on it immediately. Being as observant as he was, he noticed the telltale signs.
Jittery movements, agitated breathing, flushed face, all the signs of an incoming breakdown. The mystery author has had anxious patients before, it was nothing all that foreign to him.
Stopping a panic attack as it begins is no easy feat, so he knows its better to either prevent it, or do damage control.
He would gently guide her away and sit her on his lap, rubbing her arms as he whispered soothingly to her.
"Let's breathe luv. Deep breaths, there you go, my darling..."
He cupped her face and encouraged her to focus on him. When she calmed, he praised her and made sure she was alright, having her drink something warm and keeping an eye on her mood afterwards.
He would basically be the best comfort.
Isaac
Okay...he is a bit hopeless here at first...
He genuinely felt at a loss when she started to hyperventilate and quivering, behaving like a cornered animal ready to attack and defend herself.
To be honest, he had half the mind to find Napoleon, he always knew what to do but...
He couldn't allow another man to take care of his woman.
So, to the best of his ability, he tried to handle the situation himself. He took her to his room and sat alone with her, holding her hand. He hoped the quiet place would sooth her frayed nerves, drawing circles on the back of her hand with his thumb.
He kept this up until her hand tightened around his, indicating she was regaining her control.
"Are you...okay now?"
He hesitated to tell her that seeing her like that had been scary, he had thought for a moment she was having a heart attack.
From then on, he would be just a tad more wary about things that could frighten or unsettle her.
Comte
He had seen so many tragedies, disasters, horrors that had jaded him to that sort of anxiety, to the point he nearly forgets that his cherie was not quite of the same metal.
When she started to fall apart, he reacted immediately, taking her in his arms when her legs gave out, shielding her in his embrace.
He had her listen to his calming voice, tenderly brushing her hair from her face as he pressed his forehead to hers, bring one of her hands to his lips.
His eyes never left her teary, wide ones as his presence started to ease her anxiety. Her vulnerability both hurt and touched him at once, feeling a surge of protectiveness.
"Mon diamant, your tears make my heart ache, tell me what can I do for you?"
Once he had her breathing calmly, he asked her if she wanted to leave, quick to comply when she says she does, cradling her to him as he wrapped her in his coat. As soon as they were at home, he has Sebastian make her a relaxing tea.
He would not leave her side until he knew she was completely at ease again.
Vlad
If he were to be honest, he himself was no longer familiar with the concept of panic and anxiety. Perhaps, after living so long, through the things he had, he was numb to that sort of thing.
That didn't mean that he wasn't quick to react when his love started to succumb to fear.
Trembling, whimpering, labored breathing, erratic movement.
Behavior that reminded him that his beloved was just a human being. She seemed to fragile and breakable.
Leaning down to her, he brushes her forehead, using his abilities to fill her mind with pleasant sceneries, flowery meadows and mesmerizing lakes, anywhere to take her mind away from what so frayed her nerves.
When she was calmer, he pressed his lips on her forehead.
"I am here, my flower, don't be afraid."
He would shower her with love long after the attack passed, simply because he felt she needed that extra bit of doting.
