In light of Em's death, I wanna point out how long its been since we lost an egg life. Not just permadeath. Just a life.

In the first month of the eggs, we lost almost half of them (Tilin (Day 23), Trumpet (Day 23), Juanaflippa (Day 24)) and Chayanne, Ramon, Leo, and Richas all lost a life (Day 13, Day 15, Day 36, Day 42).

Then in May, Tallulah, Dapper, and Bobby all lost a life (Day 55, Day 56, Day 57) and Bobby was the last permadeath we experienced.

Now Em lost a life on Day 293.

Day 293.

In 236 fucking days, no eggs lost a life.

We went from 3 eggs dying and 4 of them losing a life in the first month to one egg dying in 236 days.

These eggs went from being a competition experiment to being the reason why the islanders want to be better and strong.

No matter what, love is the strongest thing and it shows with the QSMP

imagine being betrayed by a childhood friend that ends the way wkm did, and then finding out your friend who you were planning to work closely with, take care of a city with, was destined in any reality and universe to be somehow intertwined (besties, enemies but the fun kind, dating) with that same but different asshole.

it wouldnt matter if theyre completely different Marks, it is A Mark and thats enough.

this was everyone’s episode to shine, but wow... kourtney. 

i think one of the biggest disservices this show has done was not shining a clear spotlight on kourtney sooner. while the anxiety and lack of confidence storyline threw me a bit in the beginning, i definitely finally understand it. kourtney is confident, from afar. i think, like gina, she put on a facade of confidence and self knowing because it’s easier and prettier than admitting that you may be struggling. but, kourtney hasn’t always been completely confident and we saw that in season one when she was terrified of the idea of taking over for gina. fast forward and sooo many things are new for kourtney. she’s never had a boyfriend, never spent too long in the spotlight, and never had to be too far from her best friend. now, boyfriend is away at college (if they’re even still together), she is the lead in a musical that will be on a veryy well-known streaming service, and nini is gone to pursue her dreams. things became real and scary very quickly, which is why my sweet girl is so anxious. 

in 3x07 kourtney, thanks to the loving and supportive girls that surround her, gets to be held in this way that allows her to be vulnerable and simultaniously gives her little pushes to fully embody the confidence and fearlessness that everyone knows she possesses. kourtney climbing that wall was not just super symbolic of her ability to tackle her obstacles, but it was incredibly bad ass. i’m talking about this girl literally decidedv that that NIGHT she was going to go out into the dark in her prom outfit and go rock climbing just to prove to herself that she deserves to be elsa on a disney+ series. like are you fucking kidding me???

not to mention her song/prayer was literally so beautiful and affirming. i, as a grown ass who watches a kids show, look up to kourtney sooooo much. kourtney has always been one of my favorites, and i hope after last night she becomes a part of more people’s favorites, too. honey, do not sleep on miss kourtney greene!
