Man, I still remember participating in one of the many jjba zines that I took part in and how my piece was placed as the first page (for the second time) and how one of my mutuals/artists that I’ve always admired, hit me with the “oh… you’re on the front page again… 😅…” like man, that kind of killed me lmfao. I never got over it like man, what was that about.

#it’s not like i put the books together myself or anything all my ass did was submit my work #like this was from a really popular and well known artist as well like #their art has always been so gorgeous to me too I was like ‘I’m literally a nobody is this person really being shady or…’#rambling #I guess it’s nice being in a zine with ppl I don’t know or care to get to know at least now 😭… just submitting my art and running #referring to the jjk zine 😭 I need t start working on it uhh #zines make me feel so anxious man #it really did make me feel bad and almost guilty? I was like this is kind of awkward…#another zine I was in which was run by a mutual… well… I never even got my zine in the mail #and I even sent them $20 for some merch that they were making since I wanted to support and never got that either…#they deleted their blog but I see that they remade and draw a lot of DM and have a lot of popular posts here so it’s kind of awkward seeing #their art shared on the dash sometimes skeks #we’re still mutuals on Twitter but I don’t rly want to ask about my zine again or the $20 bucks #it’s okay like I owe other ppl stuff too I’m a late bird man but still loskekk #they were the mod for the zine too #I might hit them up again I guess I still love their art and they were always fun to talk to #there was another zine that I participated in where we had to purchase our own copy bro #i remember being so annoyed by that but went ahead and bought it anyway #I was invited to this zine so it made me even more annoyed #I #Guess it didn’t make its money back #or something like that but I remember being broke at the time and was pissed that I had to pay for my own book #I didn’t buy any of the merch because why when it was supposed to be free #if you’re participating in a zine the book and merch should be free

Hi! Will there be a Discord or a community for discussions and communications involving the zine?

Yes, absolutely! Here is the Discord! It will just be for announcements and a quicker way to ask the mod (me) questions. My username on Discord is dr.tycho

Unfortunately, I won't be able to offer discussion space for members to talk amongst each other or post wips or discuss ideas etc. as I won't be able to moderate community discussion. I am just one guy and there's a lot of y'all. The Discord will have to be only for announcements and asking questions related to the project!

I also feel more comfortable with a semi-professional degree of separation here as I'm hoping this will be a Very Large Project.

Announcements will be made here on this blog, via e-mail, and on Discord.

HOWEVER, if anyone is interested in helping me mod this zine (modding discussion on the Discord as well as managing submissions), please DM me here on Tumblr or on Discord (dr.tycho).

Mods must preferably be available / online more times than not (so easily accessible if I send a DM) and not minors (18+). Experience with zines in the past is preferred but absolutely not necessary!

For some reason, this round of meds (same dose and everything as last time) is making me have very violent Realisations and Remembering Things moments. And by that I mean the Thing I Forgot and/or the Realisations show up with a bat and see how hard they can make my brain hit the wall. So anyway.

#SPPIIIIKKKEEEEEE I MISS YOOOUUUU #I love spike. spike the wet floor bot is my favourite. I miss her I should bring her back somehow #the first animatronic to gain sentience and awareness out of LOVE and CARE #I miss her we need to bring her back. I never made a visual design but I definitely posted some descriptions of her pretty sure #a wet floor bot... a little wonky and a little off colour. holes in it's damaged and dented casing patched up with scrap #never the same colour. always different #stickers and magnets and a lil bit of spray paint. part of an ear missing and crooked #has one of roxy's spiked bracelets around her neck with a keyring dangling from it like a tag...#she picked her own name and pronouns... doesn't really understand what they are and what they mean but she wants them #in one AU she was Roxy's little distraction. something to work on and repair while the others search the rubble of the plex for-#their friends. In another Roxy repaired her for fun unknowingly after Vanny had used her as a test subject for the virus #in another one post-ruin roxy and cassie were searching the plex for an easy animatronic for roxy to repair so cassie's dad could-#test what she'd learned about repairing them from him and found a salvageable wet floor bot #that they then wrapped in tarp and put in a shopping trolley to take her straight home and get to work on her much to the-#confusion of literally everyone as they barrel down the halls of flats with an unidentified tarp blob in a stolen shopping trolley #<- that one's Meteors AU btw. Roxy got turned into a Real Boy by the Meteor and is now living with Cassie as her adopted sister #this is just the kind of shit these two get up to all the time and no one knows who's meant to be the braincell between them because well #they keep taking turns on who the older sibling is. they keep changing it. the eldest sibling is based entirely on the situation lmao #who's bright idea was it to steal a wet floor bot? WHO KNOWS!! I’ve always been interested in things like choose your own adventure stories or when community polls choose what happens in a story. Tbh I would love to write one (I know there’s a way to do this on ao3, the choose your own adventure part not the poll one as far as I’m aware) it’s just a matter of 1. Making time to do it 2. Deciding what story/fandom to write it for 🤨

#okay so i was CONSIDERING the vent zine #and then um something and then i was like “yeah no i cant rest until i get this out”#so i sat down and made this vent zine that's gonna embarrass me next year lmao #am i okay? ... actually I'm trying to be okay now #I'm just questioning something about someone #sorry to keep referring back to That Thing it's just been on my mind a lot #even before that vent post for a while now i was wondering if everything really was okay. if it was making me okay.#because i dont want to be selfish and abandon someone when they need me.
