#like she did love romulus at the time they got married. she had two kids with him for a reason

Note
In the asoiaf au, who is Herakles's father?
I was originally going to leave it ambiguous and have we all know that his dad was Dornish, but your own hcs about Mama Greece and Persia inspired me :)
It remains to be seen if Persia is still alive though, as it stands to reason Romulus wouldn't want the guy who messed around with his wife (granted before he married her) still present. A big part of his marriage to Helene was that she had to give up her attachments to Herakles, and that was probably the biggest rift in their marriage. The adultery is one thing, but the fact that he campaigned that hard to marry her and then went on to have affairs on her is a whole other. That's it's own issue though. And let's be clear, Helene did love him at the time they got married, they had two children together for a reason, she's not a helpless victim in this scenario (granted she did not have much choice what with Patriarchy™ being a thing).
The caveat here is that Romulus doesn't like to do things subtly, you could call it honor, but really it's more him wanting to take the credit for beating his rivals. He doesn't want a slip down the stairs to take someone out, he wants it to be him. If Persia died in a slightly suspicious way and people sideye him though... that could also be a potential thread.

The Return of The Sword
MOVIE THE LAST LEGION COUPLE: ROMULUS X READER  RATING: SWEET AF + SMUT
Tumblr media
Writers notes: If you have not seen the film and most importantly the ending then you are... probably gonna be a bit confused, But uhh read on if you would like but spoilers.
I walked the cobblestone streets of the little brittany village I had learnt to call my home. It had been so long I had lived here and I was happy here, happier than I had ever been anywhere else. Here I wasn’t a king, I wasn’t an emperor, I was knowone. Just romulus. I took a house by the edge of the village to live. It once belonged to one of the men who lost their lives in the battle but he had no family or anything else to inhabit his home. I wed a britannian girl, The most beautiful woman I could have ever dreamt of marrying, That whole world and life behind me.
I hurried down the hay covered cobbles stones, doing my best to avoid horse muck and thick black puddles from the rain as I headed back to my little house in the very edge of town I pushed open the gate shutting it behind me the moment I did our pup cerberus jumped up trying to greet me "hey boy. Yeah yeah I missed you too" I laughed giving him a pet and heading inside the house where the table was set for dinner and the dinner cooking in the stone fireplace and there stood by the table cutting up something for dinner was my beautiful wife. She stood by the table cutting something up for dinner I wasn’t sure what, Her long y/c/h up in braids and plaits around her head to keep it all out her face. Her sweet face smiling as she works, eyes on her hands, her long grey sleeves rolled to her elbows, Her green shirt over her to keep her warm even if the neck did go about halfway to her breasts Her brown leather corset tight around her waist the string on her tightly in harsh knots to try and stop it undoing, Her long green dress reaching the floor where it needed to be hemmed but she hadn’t had the time, Her riding boots stood on our stone floor.
"There you are" I smirked dumping my cloak and bag by the door going over wrapping my arms around her as tightly as I could squeezing her against me where I had missed her all day just having my arms around her brought a smile to my face "I've missed you" I whined
"Awww romulus, I've missed you too" she smiled giving my lips a little kiss I smiled and kissed her back holding her close so she couldn't pull back our kisses turning hotter and heavier
"Uummmm uuuuummmm y/n" I groaned grabbing her butt thought her dress
"Romulus" she giggled pushing me and my hands away
"Awww y/n, come on. You can't blame me for getting excited when I'm away from you everyday"
"I know, but calm down a little alright" she giggled just as she finished speaking the door opened and instantly our children ran in
"Daddy!" They both giggled running to each hug one of my legs, I laughed at them putting my hands on each of their heads petting there fluffy hair, Unfortunately for by some luck both our children looked like me, I’d much rather they had looked like my beautiful wife but they both got my eyes and my blonde bouncy hair
"Whoa! Hey kiddos'' I laughed petting there fluffy blonde hair "come on let daddy go, dinners ready" I laughed so they let me go and headed to the table with their mother "hey merlin" I waved as he was in the door having brought our children home
"Good evening," he nods
"Hi merlin, thank you for bringing the children back" she laughed helping lisbeth into her chair in her little grey dress and I helped Arthur too in his brown and grey clothes thick with mud as the chairs where a little too tall for them on their own
"It's not problem" he smiled
"Did you two have fun with uncle merlin?" I asked them
"Yeah!" They both giggled
“Good, He tell you fun stories again?” I asked
“He told us about the Magic man who turned a ball into a birdy” Lisbeth giggled
“Yeah, thats a good one” I laughed the memory of that day coming back for a moment
“Would you like to stay for dinner merlin?” Y/n asked him
“No it’s alright, got to get back home before the rains.”
“You have a nice night, I’m sure the kids will see you tomorrow. Say bye bye to merlin?” I told them
“Bye uncle merlin!” they both giggled. I waved to him as he headed off home as the sky grew darker, I let cerberus in, giving him his dinner and locking up the house before we all sat down to dinner too. I cleaned up after dinner as y/n took the children up to bed as soon as I was done with everything, I headed up too, to there little bedroom seeing them, tucked up with the pup between there beds y/n finishing off tucking them in
“Goodnight kids” she smiled coming to the door
“Goodnight Mummy” they both smiled
“Goodnight Arthur, Goodnight Lisbeth” I told them
“Goodnight daddy” they both giggled
“Go on now, Go and dream of dragons and fairies” she told them blowing out the candle leaving the room in darkness. Once they drifted off to sleep we headed down to our own bed I lit the candle beside our bed and stripped off my clothes climbing into the cold grey covers, laying my head down on the little pillow watching as y/n pulled the curtains on the window, the flickering candlelight bouncing off her skin as she stood untying the tight knots of her corset until it fell to the floor she pulled off her skirts and her shirts. She reached up and undid one tie of her hair and it all unraveled falling down her back. She crawled into bed beside me resting her head on the pillow beside me I smiled to her and wrapped my arms around her waist pulling her body close to mine to keep her warm she giggled a little and nuzzled into my skin
“Y/n?”
“Yes romulus?” she asks
“I don’t know what I’d do without you”
“You’d be alot dirtier. You wouldn’t wash your clothes or bathe as often” she giggled
“Y/n, Not like that. Really if I lost you I don’t know what I would do, I love you so much”
“Aww romulus that's sweet, I don’t know what I’d do without you either” she smiled “I love you too” she smile pressing a kiss to my lips
“I love you more” I told her
“Come on let's get to bed” she says turning away so I smiled cuddling up to her spooning her as close as I could keeping the heat of our naked bodies together
"Y/n?" I whispered in her ear pressing kisses up her neck
"Ummmm what it is romulus?" She humms back
I smiled kissing her sweet smooth skin "let's have another" I whispered in her ear between kisses
"What?"
"Another, maybe this time… give Arthur a little brother? Or lisbeth a sister she can play with?" I suggest
"You really want another baby?"
"I do, I love when you're pregnant, watching your tummy grow and feeling the baby kick, Don't you wanna grow our little family?"
"Okay" she giggled
"You mean it?"
"Of course" she smiled, moving to lay on her back. I smirked a little and moved to be on top of her "just quiet the children are only upstairs. I know what you can get like romulus"
"Can you blame me? Feeling something so…" I began gently moving and slipping inside of her "uuuuuuughhh!"
"Quiet" she giggled pulling my neck down to kiss her I smiled kissing back moving my hips back and forth feeling wave after wave of pleasure letting her wrap her legs around me trying not to move too fast or too hard incase the bed creaked or banged against the wall, as that would be too loud and might wake the children, or the dog for that matter, slowly getting faster and faster trying to be quiet but starting to ignore it the closer and closer I got I felt her hit her wave of pleasure as she tightened around me putting her hand over her mouth so she wouldn’t scream making me go faster feeling how tight and wet she got, I didn’t care how loud the banging on the wall was before I hit my own wave of pleasure and collapsed on her
“I love you darling” I told her giving her a sweet kiss and laying on my side of the bed
“Love you too romulus” she smiled laying her head on my chest
“What do you hope for? Boy? Or girl?”
“Another boy, Arthur needs a little brother” she giggled “Lisbeth makes her own fun”
“Maybe… if you're not too tired? If I try again, maybe they’ll get a brother and a sister?”
“Maybe tomorrow romulus, you have work in the morning” she smiled nuzzling close to my skin
“Okay, come on. Lets get some sleep” I told her kissing her head “Goodnight my darling, Love you”
“Love you too, goodnight romulus”

To The Top || A Marauders Band AU
Chapter Two: You Gotta Not
Read here on A03
So Lily Evans brought a big asset to the band?
Only if you consider Remus Lupin to be a big asset, which I do.
Did Lily introduce them?
In time.
What happened in the meantime?
Before Remus joined the band there was just James, Sirius, and Frank. They lived together in this house called Maxwells house. It belonged to these twins Fabian and Gideon and they opened it up to anyone who needed a home.
And what was Remus doing? What were you doing?
I was in Germany at the time, Remus was at university. But he had been friends with Lily since they were young and even though he was staying in a student accommodation he wasn't too far away for their friendship to change in any way.
//
Lily and Remus had spent New Year's Eve together. One of Remus' classmates held a party which they attended and stayed until the clock struck midnight. By the time they had made it back to his accommodation, it was three in the morning. They had both slept in Remus' bed without bothering to change their clothes or even take their make-up off, which then lead to one of the worst mornings in both of their lives.
It was eight in the morning when Remus's phone went off. He groaned when he saw his twin brother's name appear on the screen and held the phone to his ear.
"Hello?"
"Re, where are you?"
"What do you mean?" he paused. "Am I supposed to be somewhere?"
He could practically feel Rom rolling his eyes. "You and Lily both promised Mum that you'd help with the fate. Remember? The fate? The one that Mum has been stressing over for weeks?"
Shit.
"Ohhh yeah, yeah I completely remember god who do you take me for? Yeah me and Lils are on our way now, well be like five minutes tops I promise." and with that, he quickly hung up.
Shit Shit Shit Shit.
"Lily come on, we have to go," Remus said quickly as he shook his best friend awake.
Lily only groaned as she lifted her head off the pillow, she watched Remus rush around the room to grab the makeup wipes and cleaned off the smudged eyeliner he still had on.
Lily didn't wait for an explanation, she just got out of the bed and found her way towards the nearest hairbrush.  It wasn't until they were waiting for the bus that Lily had asked where they were going.
"My mum's thing, remember? We said we would help."
Lily didn't look like she remembered but she nodded anyway.
"How long do you think we'll be?"
Remus shrugged, "No idea. Why? Got somewhere to be?"
Lily rolled her eyes, "Got a hangover to cure is more like it."
They had gotten to the fate twenty minutes later and immediately regretted not faking a sickness to get out of it.
Hope Lupin was a powerhouse and an amazing mum, she was loving and caring, and gentle. But she was a single mum who had raised three boys and was in the middle of raising another, which made her incredibly scary when she was stressed.
"There you two are!" she exclaimed when she saw Remus and Lily making their way down the field where the fate was being held. "I was about to send Petunia off after you guys, honestly why are you so late?"
Remus panicked, "Headache," he said.
Hope placed her hands to her hips and raised an eyebrow, "Is headache code for a hangover?"
They both nodded.
Hope sighed, "There's coke, bananas, and water in that tent over there. Go and tip half of the water out of a bottle, fill the rest with coke, drink that, and eat a banana. I don't have time for this." she told them, quickly adding, "Its a hangover remedy," after seeing their confused faces.
"Where was this remedy all the other times we've been hungover?" Lily asked, acting offended.
Hope shrugged, "You never asked."
"Still could've been useful."
"How am I supposed to know that you're hungover if you never tell me!?" Hope exclaimed, throwing her hands in the air and turning her back on them in order to do other things.
"You're Mum!" Remus yelled back. "You know everything!"
"Two minutes! Get a move on!" was all that Hope yelled back.
As Hope had promised the flat coke and bananas had helped their hangovers but unfortunately didn't make them any more prepared for the long day ahead of them. Remus' parents had divorced three years ago when Lyall had admitted that he had fallen for someone else. Remus doubts that his parents have ever been in love. They had his older brother, Lycus when they were in their twenties and before they were married. They did get married not long after he was born and three years after that they had Romulus and Remus, the twins also weren't planned. Neither was Macca, Remus' younger brother who was only 2 years old at the time of the divorce.
His father's new girlfriend didn't last very long and got intimidated by the fact that he had four sons. Romulus has always said that he was certain that there was no girl, to begin with, they had never met her and their dad wasn't exactly someone who had luck when it came to romance. Romulus swears that he made her up to use as an excuse to get a divorce. Lycus believes him. Remus doesn't.
Hope and Lyall still remained close friends and the boys are allowed to stay with either one of them as much as they like, but they spend the majority of their time with Hope, or at least Lycus, Romulus, and Remus do. Macca, who is now five, spends Monday to Thursday with Hope and Friday to Sunday with Lyall in hopes that he will grow up to have a close relationship with both parents.
Remus had nothing against his father, he was a good dad and never failed to make Remus feel loved. But he wasn't yet out to his dad yet and wasn't sure if it would go well if he did come out to him. He likes to think that his dad would try to be supportive but still doesn't want anything to change between them. Not only that but he preferred his mum's cooking.
Lyall worked as a teacher for a primary school near where he lived and Hope owned her own florist in town but would always pop into the other shops there to see if they needed any help when she had the time, which is what led to her helping out with the local coffee shops fate in order to help raise money for cancer research. This wasn't the first time Hope had dragged her children out of their usual routines to stand in a field in the middle of winter and most certainly won't be the last. But they always came, Remus would never admit it but he quite enjoyed these things. Hope had always wanted to help with certain school and church events and Remus was proud to have a mum who was so loved in the community, even if she was scary when she got into her boss mode.
By the time Remus had finished their drinks and properly woke up, there was already a crowd of people going around each stall, Remus had seen Romulus surrounded by little kids. He called them over when he saw them.
"Remus! Lily! You two are captains get over here!"
"Oh bloody hell," Remus said under his breath, noticing the football that he had in his hands.
Sirius felt like his figures were going to fall off. It was January 1st, who set up an outdoor event on January 1st.
They had only just got there and he already wanted to desperately go home, he didn't dream his parents irrelevant and leave his whole family behind at the age of 22 just to play in the freezing cold, but James had insisted that this would be worth it and he seemed so excited for every gig Sirius could never say no.
It was during their first set that Sirius had seen her.
She had been all that James had talked about since their gig at the pub on Christmas eve, he could recite her description by memory.
Dark red hair that reached her chest.
Emerald green eyes.
Plus size
A smile that glows.
Exactly a head smaller than James.
Two piercings in her ear lobe and one in her cartilage.
A tattoo of a small tattoo of a wolf behind her ear.
And she was wearing white Doc Martens.
Yep, that was her. It had to be, she ticked every box (apart from the tattoo as she was too far away for Sirius to get a proper look. But she looked like a girl that would have one.)
Sirius' heart leaped. James was going to be so excited, all he could talk about throughout Christmas was how much he regretted not asking for her Instagram. He had to tell him.
He was going to tell him.
He had it all planned. He was going to give James that smile that only James got, the one that said "I know something you don't know," James always got so excited at good news.
Then he was going to ask James once more how Lily Evans looked, and James would go on a ramble, giving out as much information about this girl that he could remember. Then he would spin James around and point her out and knowing James he would probably scream. Sirius couldn't wait, he was a hopeless romantic after all.
As they went through each song he couldn't take his eyes off her, he had to make sure that he knew where she was when he told James. And he was going to tell him, he was certain of it.
That is, he was certain of it until he saw him.
Now that's a sight that he will never be able to get out of his head.
Short blond curly hair.
Tall.
Thin, yet still had a bit of muscle.
Crooked nose.
Amber eyes.
And a large scar going across his face, from his right eye down through his nose and ending just before his lips.
God his lips!
As they played on Sirius began to notice more and more about this mystery boy. He seemed to be friendly with Lily, they were playing football with a group of kids and it was obvious that he was pretending to not be good for their sake. There was another boy with them who had similar features. Must be a brother, Sirius thought.
The boy was dressed in a Queen t-shirt, a white one with a long-sleeved black shirt underneath, and his jeans were ripped. He wore eyeliner, his nails were painted black and he had multiple rings on his figures.
Sirius had never been more turned on until he saw him take a five-minute break to smoke a cigarette.
Sirius could never date a smoker. James was enough trouble, Sirius had lost count on how many times he had told him that he ought to quit but he never listens. Smoking kills everyone knows this so why did some people think that by some miracle they could be the exception.
Sirius was about to give it all up then and there, make his eyes go back to following Lily around, or maybe even have his brain focus on what he was actually supposed to be going. But once the boy had put out his cigarette and rejoined the group of kids one of them had fallen over and hurt their knee. The boy crouched down to their level and talked to the boy until he laughed while Lily got a wet paper towel and a plaster.
Damit, Sirius thought. Why do guys with kids always have to be so damn attractive?
For the rest of their set, the only thing Sirius could see was him.
He had forgotten all about Lily Evans until they had finished. When they had gotten off the stage James had been bouncing up and down. His smile was the widest he had ever seen it.
"It's her," he said quickly.
"Whos her?" Frank asked, looking at the crowd confused.
"Her, her. That girl I met a the pub last week. She's here."
"Go talk to her then." And while you're at it get me her mate's number?
James began to pale, "I can't just go up and talk to her," he told them shaking his head. "What if she hates me?"
Frank raised an eyebrow, "Why would she hate you, I thought you hit it off?"
"We did!"
"So go talk to her!"
James looked at Lily and then back at Sirius and Frank. He had now started picking at his figure nails, slowly picking one off and throwing it onto the ground.
"What do I say?" He asked, desperately.
Frank seemed very confident. "Mate, you've just played for the entire day she surly noticed that it was you at one point. She's probably begging for you to go and talk to her."
James looked confused, "Then why hasn't she come up to me?" His eyes suddenly widened. "What if she really isn't interested? I mean I know I didn't ask for her Snapchat or anything but she didn't ask for mine either!" he said in one breath. Sirius was sure he may faint if he thought anymore.
Both James and Sirius looked at Frank who rolled his eyes. "She's the girl. You're supposed to be the one to ask her out and make the first move. Most girls are scared to ask out guys cause guys suck." He said it as if it was the most obvious thing ever. "Just take a deep breath, channel your confidence, and swipe her off her feet. You've got this."
James took a breath and nodded before making his way towards Lily who was having a conversation with a much taller boy. He looked a bit like Sirius' mystery boy but older, taller, and with darker hair and no scar. Maybe another brother.
Sirius and Frank both watched James approached Lily in silence. They watched him ask to talk to her, Sirius didn't miss the smile that appeared across her face. Unfortunately said smile began to slowly disappear once James began talking and before anyone could realize that this was indeed a bad idea, Lily had slapped James across the face and had begun to walk in the other direction.
James all but stomped back towards Sirius and Frank, his glasses had fallen to the tip of his nose and his face had gone nearly bright red, though Sirius couldn't tell if it was from anger or embarrassment.
He mumbled a "Let's go" and grabbed all of his belongings before making his way towards the van. All Sirius and Frank could do was stare at each other in disbelief.
"This is why we don't leave him alone unsupervised," Sirius mumbled.

Romulus didn’t understand why he never fit it. It wasn’t as if he was a bad king, he was an excellent king, mind you. He ruled merpeople and sea creatures with kindness, and the Kingdom was flourishing, so it wasn’t that he was scared of something.
He was, lonely. He hated feeling like that.
One day, he was mopping on his loneliness near the shore when he saw her. The most beautiful human he had ever laid eyes on. He couldn’t help but followed her, and to his surprise, she lived near the shore, one small hole allowed him to peek into her house.
She also seemed lonely.
Being king, had its perks, one being that he could leave the throne room and the kingdom whenever he wanted. From that day on he decided to use that perk, and every morning he would sing to his lady.
---
Rachel was a lonely woman. It didn’t exactly bother her, except it completely bothered her. When she left his ex-husband, it was for the best, she still has to cover some bruises he left.
She sighed, and only then she started to hear the same melody from every day. It almost seemed as if the melody came from the sea.
She has always loved the sea, that’s why when she left him, she decided to find a house near the ocean.
She opened the window and smiled when the melody became stronger. She leaned into the balcony and stared into the small waves that hit her house, and only then she saw a red tail shining into the water.
She smiled.
--
Romulus visited her every day, until one day a small thing got into the water and he stopped singing. He looked up and saw her throwing things into the water. Some fishes decided to start eating it.
“Is it good?” He asked a clownfish, who nodded. He tried it.
It was good.
-
Rachel saw her red fish eating the cookie she was breaking and throwing from the balcony and she smiled.
It was dumb, she knew, but whenever the red fish visited her, the melody also came, and she felt less lonely.
--
It was in the middle of the night when Rachel noticed that the fish, it wasn’t really a fish but a freaking merman.
“Please don’t scream.” He said, showing his hands that had some thin skin in between his fingers.
“You sing to me…” It was all she could say.
“Yes.”
They smiled, and suddenly they weren’t lonely anymore.
--
The first time Romulus shape to his human form in front of her, it was also their first kiss, and their first time together.
Romulus continue to be an amazing king, so no one had any complaint that he would disappear some days.
Rachel was like a ghost in the town she lived, but when Romulus was around, she couldn’t care less.
--
Romulus stared at her as if she was speaking another language, “What do you mean pregnant?” He finally asked, “Are you going to lay eggs?”
Rachel laughed gently, and took his hand, putting it on her belly “Something like that. You are going to be a father, Rom.” She smiled.
--
The first time Rachel went into the ocean, she was holding into Romulus’ arm for her life and yet admiring everything, the rest of merpeople were whispering into a language she didn’t understand.
“Why can’t I understand them?” Romulus smiled at her.
“I didn’t know you could speak Atlantean, sweetheart.” She pouted.
“I understand you.”
“Yes, but I learn English, remember the first times?” She laughed, and it was true, Romulus stuttering was such a funny thing.
Romulus introduced Rachel to the kingdom counselors, who were shocked at the beginning, but smiled. Rachel was so creeped out she didn’t know dolphins could smiled, what the actual fuck.
“I supposed this is your goodbye, your majesty.” Said an older merman, swimming closer to them.
Romulus first translated to Rachel, “It is, sir. My wife is expecting babies, and soon I will be a father.”
“Very well, my king.” The merman, said in that language Rachel didn’t understand, “Just remember that us merpeople can’t be to apart from the sea for a long period of time.”
“I know, sir.”
They threw a small goodbye party to King Romulus, the best King they could’ve ever asked for.
-
Rachel kissed her husband as they stared the small crib were two babies fall asleep, “Roman is a merman,” Romulus said, chuckling when the small golden and red tail tapped (golpeteaba) the bed. “The sages say he can spend all the time he wanted outside the Ocean since he is half human.” He kissed the forehead of his son, who giggled and suddenly his tail shift into two small, chubby legs.
Rachel would probably never get used to that, “Remus is human,” He continued, petting the small tentacle his son created, “Apparently he can shift whenever he can into whatever sea creature and can breathe under water even in his human form.”
“This is so surreal.” She said, finally. “I ended up marrying the king of seas,”
“… ex-king, actually.”
“And having two beautiful babies.” She shushed him with a small kiss, “If they get sick, do I take them to the doctor or to the vet?”
---
Romulus knew he should’ve spent more time in the water, so when he noticed that death was close, it was too late.
The kids were merely five years old.
--
Rachel died when the twins were sixteen years old.
--
Rumor has it, that only one twin went back into the water. There’s no evidence of what happened to the other one.
Time passed by, and the story of Rachel and Romulus was forgotten by everyone.
--
Sometimes, when King Roman was feeling lonely, he would sing to the moon.
Sometimes, when Captain Remus was feeling lonely, he would sing to the moon
At least, they still have each other.
---
So, yes. The hole is a window, btw.
Romulus song is this one but instead of the piano is him doing aahhhs like Ariel when Ursula took away his voice.
All the chapters will have the title of a song, and this one was this and the fic on this one

Jim Kirk x fem!reader (18/could be read as part 1 of its own story)
“I have a question,” Bones announced to the table at breakfast. The other four of you raised an eyebrow at him. “Ooh that’s creepy. Anyway, you two–” he gestured between yourself and Spock, “–are what, distant half-cousins? How come (Y/N) doesn’t do any of the freaky Vulcan voodoo?” “Romulans and Vulcans evolved from the same ancestors,” Spock answered, evenly, “However at the time that Romulans left Vulcan after choosing to reject the principles of Surak, telepathy was highly frowned upon. It is likely that the split was clan-based in some way, given the militaristic nature of our ancient society, and therefore it is possible that none of the clans that left possessed the genetic material required to develop and pass on telepathy.” “Basically,” you shrugged, “Although, given the taboo, it was difficult to know who was telepathic and who wasn’t as no one with any sense admitted to being telepathic. There are undoubtedly some telepaths on Romulus, or at least, those capable of being telepaths with significant training, but the Tal Shiar isn’t exactly keen on difference or dissidence, so the majority would keep quiet about it.” Here, Spock turned on you, quizzically. “Undoubtedly seems an inaccurate assessment, Ambassador,” he hedged, frowning, “There is a 76.4% chance that given a clan-based split and the intrusive nature of the Tal Shiar government there would be no telepaths on Romulus.” You smiled, distantly, and sank back into your chair. “The majority of them keep quiet,” you admitted, eventually, too quiet for the rest of the table, but you knew Spock could hear you. “My mother left.”
“Fascinating.” Spock tilted his head, curiously.  “What’s fascinating?” Jim demanded, eyes flicking between the two of you. “What did you say?” “My mother was telepathic.” You picked awkwardly at your lunch. “That’s why she left Romulus.” “Are you telepathic?” Uhura inquired, as Bones delighted over Spock being wrong for once. “Strangely, yeah,” you huffed, rubbing the back of your neck. “My Dad’s side, though almost entirely human, had a weird kind of run in with Betazoids in a few of my great-great-grandfather’s many affairs. We’ve never really been sure who was whose kid, but I had a DNA test and apparently Dad passed on the Beta genes. That made me extra-receptive to telepathic genes – with and without touch. I shield all the time, don’t worry! I’m not reading anyone’s mind.” “Woah wait I’ve been kissing a telepath for three years without knowing it?” Jim interjected, incredulously. You winced, finally looking over at him apologetically, but finding only blatant amusement in his blue eyes. “Is this why you always beat me at chess?” “You are currently on an eight match winning streak,” you pointed out, not even trying to keep the relief from your voice. “And since you don’t plan your strategy ahead anyway, what would be the point of reading your mind?” He grinned, and threw an arm over your shoulders. “Hang on, hang on,” Bones interrupted the peaceful moment, yet again. “More important than your bloody chess, does this mean you’re gonna have to do the bonding shit if you ever want to get married?” “Thinking ahead as always, Bones.” Jim rolled his eyes. “Bonding is not part of Romulan culture,” you answered, simply, “And I’m not exactly the epitome of Romulan culture anyway. I theoretically could bond or mind meld with someone, but I don’t need to any further than humans bond.”
“Fascinating,” Spock repeated. “You don’t need any of the telepathic connections Vulcans require from infancy?” “Not in the sense of “bonding” in the Vulcan manner. We form them naturally, the same way humans do.” The whole table stared at you, blankly. “Humans don’t form telepathic bonds,” Bones pointed out, eventually. You blinked. “Of course you do,” you frowned, folding your arms. “They aren’t as strong as those of psionic species, obviously, but natural ties form between the minds of close humans. Friends, family, crew members. You can’t communicate with one another, or even detect them, necessarily, but they contribute to your intuition, interpersonal connection, and emotional responses. Have you not experienced this phenomenon, Spock?” “I made the assumption that the formation of a bond was unique to the combination of psionic and psi-null individuals,” he mused, placidly. “Although, given the nature of Vulcan bonding, they did not form spontaneously, possibly due to my shields, but were easily cemented through conscious bonding.” “So you’re telling me the reason I can tell when Jim’s being an idiot–” Jim opened his mouth to protest, but shut it pretty quickly when Bones shot him a glare. “–is because we have a telepathic bond?” “Well, it’s not necessarily telepathic in the connotative sense we use it, but following the strict definition of telepathy as ‘a communication by means other than the known senses’, then yeah.” Bones hummed, thoughtfully, though he didn’t look convinced. “And I’m not an idiot!” Jim grumbled, as you all stood to start your shift. Bones scoffed, but refrained from commenting.
“What do you mean we’ve lost contact?” Sulu sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. “That asteroid storm is travelling 30m/second and if we don’t move now it’s going to hit the ship as well as the planet!” “We need to get out of orbit,” you pointed out, voice calmer than you felt. “Ze storm is producing an unprecedented amount of electromagnetic energy, sir,” Chekov added, from the scanner, “If ze ship is hit, zere will be interference with the working of ze warp core and engine.” “We can’t just leave them all down there!” Sulu protested. “That’s not what I was suggesting.” The ship lurched against an incoming wave of electromagnetic energy again, and Sulu sprang from the Captain’s chair to take over the helm from the petty officer who’d replaced him. “You have the conn,” he instructed you, taking his usual seat. “What are you planning?” “Scotty!” You crossed the room and pressed the comm on the Captain’s chair. “Wha’ can I do fer ya?” His voice was strained, but the familiar lilt was reassuring nonetheless. “I need you to try and diffuse the electromagnetic interference well enough to manage long-distance transport. I’m sending Chekov down.” Chekov stood and made his way to the turbo lift quickly. “Aye. I cannae make any promises, lass, but we’ll try.” You could hear him already tinkering in the background. “That’s all I can ask, Mr Scott,” you smiled, warmly, flicking off the comm. “Sulu, I need you to move us into orbit around the second moon.” “Aye.” He programmed the console expertly as you folded your legs into the Captain’s chair, sitting criss-cross and watching the ship turn away from the planet. “Ensign Taylor, continue trying to make contact with the landing party,” you instructed the young comms officer. He nodded, turning back to his console, and you straightened your posture in the Captain’s chair, reaching into the depths of your mind to pull out your bond with Jim.
“Nothing,” Uhura sighed, again, snapping her comm closed. “Captain, we’re completely out of contact.” “There is an unusual amount of electromagnetic interference which is not constituted by the planet’s atmosphere, Captain,” Spock informed him, tricorder beeping in his hands.  “Electromagnetic storms are rarely planetary,” Jim pointed out, scanning the dry, flat landscape around them. “Uhura, keep trying.” You pulled at the back of his mind, and he frowned, scrutinising the empty landscape once again. –Not there, in here, idiot! – you snapped, pulling at him once again. –James Tiberius Kirk, I swear– –(Y/N)?– You visibly relaxed, breathing a sigh of relief that had Sulu raising an eyebrow as he finalised the orbit. –Anything high near you? Convenient mountain? Heck, even a boulder?– you questioned, brusquely. –We’ve had to leave orbit- – “You what?” He didn’t realise he’d said it out loud until Spock looked up from his tricorder. Uhura had already noticed his sudden silence and was watching him curiously.  –Say hi to Spock and Uhura from me– you laughed, feeling him sigh. –There’s an asteroid storm headed your way, it was going to hit the ship. It’s producing a weird amount of electromagnetic radiation which is interfering with our comms - and our transporters. Chekov, Jaylah, and Scotty are working on beaming you up. I’ve gotta go, we’ve got a scanner alert coming in. Just shout if you need me. Mentally, of course, wouldn’t want to damage Spock’s sensitive ears– “Well, apparently the source of our problems is an asteroid storm.” Jim refocused on his companions, noting somewhat more disappointedly that there was no cover on this stupid planet. “Asteroid storms do not typically produce significant electromagnetic radiation.” Spock tilted his head, as close to a frown as ever. “Scans show that the electromagnetic radiation is emanating from a generator in the centre of the asteroid storm,” the petty officer – Hanson – explained. “That generator can only be artificial, but there are no known species this far out that are technologically capable of producing it. The closest society capable of that would be–” “–Romulus,” you finished, grimly. Her ponytail bounced as she nodded. “I just love family reunions.”

The Ballad of GG Scrumptious, Part 1
Credits and Lyrics for Episode 7 of Days of Future Fuzz
starring:
“Narrator” - Jordan Gelber Golden George Scrumptious - Andrew Radford Butler
written by Jonathan A. Goldberg music by Matt roi Berger
recorded, mixed and edited by Marcus Bagala and Will Melones
NARRATOR
Oh hello there, what’s that?  You want a story?
Something real and true, but perhaps, too, allegory?
Oh well, let me see, let me see, let me have a drink
And think up a story worth your time - let me think-
Ah! I’ve got it, and it’s got it all!
A hero and prophecy, a warning, a fall
A promise, a history - hidden, but crucial
And a secret you’ll never guess - though maybe you will
I think you look smart, I mean, you came here to me
When you needed some fun - that’s as smart as can be.
So what do you say?  Let me lay out the scene
Let’s start at the beginning, the best place to begin:
Born beneath a lard-shaped star
The moon was in the House of Starch
(The house, by far, the fattest -
Like being born in a fry basket)
His mother labored in great pain
16 lbs, this fellow weighed
And his eyes shown like a grease stain
Skin glowed like a casserole fresh made
His mama named him Golden George
Papa Scumptious was overjoyed
Said “we’ll call him GG for short.”
He was in the kitchen by age two
Cooking breast milk cheese fondu
Had his mama spooked - but one taste she knew:
Her boy cooked naturally
Over time his talents grew
And his confidence grew too
Said he would shape the world of food,
Fast and Casually.
He sang:
GOLDEN GEORGE
My gifts know no restraints
Soon all the world will know my name
My gift to all shall be
An escape from drudgery
Via culinary artistry.
NARRATOR
So how do you like him? Guess he’s our hero
The boy with a wish and a gift… and an ego.
But this amico was on to somethin’ -
The world is bitter and cold and troublin’
But nothing’s so warm as something straight out the oven
And filling you up and giving you comfort
Adjusting your dials and pushing all your right buttons.
So why not toot his honker when he’s so much to offer?
Food and drink HEAL - and this boy was a doctor
But he needed more than a gift or a wish
He needed more than an ego - he needed a DISH.
GOLDEN GEORGE
It’s time to make my fortune
So let the world prepare
I’ll save their mouths from boredom
All other chefs beware!
I’ll keep the oil flowing
I’ll keep the oven hot
I’ll find the dish that shows them
What I’ve got!  Yeah!
Teryaki steak tips!
Buttered sweetbread fries
Cheese-laced onion blossom
Ranch on the side
Now, here’s my masterpiece! It’s
Piled high with 7 cheeses
What taste, what artistry
Baked Macaroni - I’m a genius!
NARRATOR
And though it sounds simple, and maybe you laugh
That macaroni pasta put GG on the map
That macaroni pasta was better than yours by half
His use of thousand island dressing WAS astounding
Over seven layers of cheeses, french AND italian
And one that might be Russian but ain’t NO body telling
Mm mm!
See, the recipe’s a secret, and GG’s smart to keep it
Cuz everyone wanted what that bastard was selling
The momentum of this dish on every wish list
Was enough to propel him to the highest echelon
Of chef’s and give him what they all were eyeing:
FRANCHISING!
But as GG sat in his kitchen, in Centralia New Jersey
Sizing up contracts, showered in glory
He felt a worry, an itch left un scratched
He was lost in the dark, lost his spark, all seemed black.
Something ached in his twice baked heart
Tho his macaroni was a work of art
All that work felt artless heartless
See, at the top, the drop’s all you got left
Now, his hostess was a beauty queen
Named Melanie Marie Manzine
Triple M saw GG’s depression
And so she pulled him near to tell him:
TRIPLE M
“I watched you build this place -
The joy that played across your face.
Why not give everyone
A taste thereof
Fill your menu with that joy and fun.”
GOLDEN GEORGE
Fun?  Yeah,
NARRATOR
thought GG,
GOLDEN GEORGE
that’s the one!
The ingredient I had, but since had shunned
I’ve been so high on my own hot air
I’ve lost the fun that got me there.
Food should always be fun!
It’s entertainment for tongues!
That was obvious once
But I was blind I was dumb
As to what I’d become!
Goodbye to former pursuits!
Better to give and include!
Without further ado, I present you
A place where the food can always lighten the mood
The all new GG Scrumptious, where fun is always on the menu!
NARRATOR
Well, you can guess what happened next
Oh, you can’t?  Well here it is:
GG rethought the plot of his vocation
He let go of the top and focused on elation
The silly joy and fun of stuffing your face and
Drinking your weight in
Milkshakes and
When his restaurant reopened after a short renovation
It was a success!  He was met with adulation,
And opened up franchises in 7000 plus locations!
GOLDEN GEORGE
GG Scrumptious, where fun is always on the menu!
NARRATOR
And he married his muse! Yes he truly fell for
That clever, wild woman who’d been running the door.
Triple M and double G had their lives intertwined
By a wild west rabbi named Tex Rubenstein
Beneath a papermache macaroni
In the most beautiful mixed-denominational ceremony
GOLDEN GEORGE
Finally everything is right
I love my work, I love my wife
This is more than I ever could have hoped for
TRIPLE M
[Crying]
GOLDEN GEORGE
What’s this?  My love, why do you cry?
Tell me and I will make it right!
There is no worry we’ve in sight
TRIPLE M
“GG, I’m pregnant!”
NARRATOR
What?  You don’t feel the tension?
Yes of course a child’s a blessing
It’s just - oh, I get the impression
You’re missing a key component to our hero’s depression.
So, for a second let’s leave the present.
It’s time for a little history lesson…
Long ago when the world was young
When the restaurant game had not yet begun
Casual eateries didn’t exist
And the only fast food was that you couldn’t catch
If early man sought something good to eat (yeah!)
He’d best fall down on his knees and pray to the gods of drink and feast.
It was the perfect way,
And would still be today, but…
A lesser god of feast was this gal Edesia
Ha - your face betrays you never heard the name.
You missed nothing if you never met her
Though she thought she was an up and comer in game
She made a plan to be
The greatest god of food and drink in history
She’d show humans the holy ways
And thus secure their love and praise
Till the end of days
Well she didn’t wait more than a thousand years
When a man hit bottom and her chance appeared
A failing chef named Ray of the Romulus line
Stumbled in and begged at the foot of her shrine
He wanted fame and a chance to succeed
He was a fine mix of talent and greed
She saw her play
And she didn’t delay
Gave him a vision:
Her, descending on the gravy rain.
The salty brown drops
Washed his pain away
And she offered him the deal
That saw the world changed
In her vision, she said to him:
EDESIA
“Oh Ray unknown, how your talent and your pallet go to waste
As well you know, Gods tip the balance, and in their talons grip your fate
In this market how can you make
Your name known?  Oh no!
But I’ve a deal that, if you should take,
Your fame will grow, and grow, and grow!
I see your wonder, see the hunger in your eyes
With my secrets you’ll stun ‘em be their culinary prize
All that I charge of you
Is never have a child - your praise alone is mine
Yes, no children shall you bear
Though many will you claim as hairs in time
Yes the king of food for all your days
The people will taste and they will praise
O’er all you’ll reign, you’ll not be done
You’ll rise so long as the sun has rays
You’ll rise so long as the sun has rays
You’ll rise so long as the sun has rays
And only set when the Rays have son.”
NARRATOR
You’ll rise so long as the sun has rays
And only set when the Rays have son.
Well Ray thought that sounded mighty fair -
A heavenly answer to his despair.
He bowed in praise, swore his faith blindly
Which, for gods, is legally binding
Ran down to town to his deep fried peacock eye food cart
In an hour he’d sold out, he was the talk of the town, his food a work of art!
And it grew and it grew and it grew and it grew
And Ray learned the secret that the Gods all knew
And he used them to create a new empire
Food that’s fun served fast, with cheer
Paired with a casual atmosphere
Fills all with food, yes, true, but too - delight!
People could not get enough
They came to get their faces stuffed
How nice! … for Ray…
The gods of food and drink were forgot
Edesia too, it seems her plot
Backfired.
And Ray looked down over all he commanded
By his death, to 1042 locations had he expanded
And as the ages changed, so did Ray’s descendants menus
As they took the empire to new, exciting venues
The Visigoth Grill, Crusader’s Crudo
Pita the Great, Dynasty Noodles
The Original Scythian Style Pub
Bennigans, Arby’s and Stubbie’s Subs
Mongol Flay It Yourself Easy Horse
And on and on til present day, of course.
And the most powerful chain on down that line
Was the Ray’s Pizza Franchise
Featuring Real Ray’s, Original Ray’s, Real Original Ray’s
Famous Ray’s, Infamous Ray’s and Ray’s of other Names
From the first Ray’s cart, this chain had continued
And you could still order peacock eyes off the secret menu.
And they ruled all the franchises with an iron fist
Ah - but how did Ray’s have heirs, if Ray’s never did have kids…?
Listen to this:
Oh it was all part of Edesia’s promise
Which was so poorly thought out it was almost comic
The contract was written up by the best lawyer of the time
Marcus Legislatus, and the print was very fine
As his wife had written it all by hand
And Marcus had married the most beautiful cricket in all the land!
But we don’t have time for that part!
What matters is the deal at this vile contract’s heart:
The Ray to Play Stipulation…
…which stated
That any chain restaurant whose owner mated
Forfeited their first born child to the Rays
Or they handed in their restaurants - either way, they all paid.
And the chains turned over became the Ray’s
And the children turned over - well, the Ray’s they became
Many chains tried to avoid this doom:
Ray Kroc hid his son in a Grimace costume
Papa John put Baby John in a basket of reeds
Dave Thomas sent Wendy to live in a tree
But each was found out, and each child was claimed
And through old, evil magic, was changed to a Ray…
Mama chef, papa chef, RUN! Hide your child away.
Look how the Rays come, on the 5th birthday of,
Oh!, what you most love, they’re gonna take away, and,
Oh!, what you most love -They’re gonna make a Ray.
They’ll file in, eat up all that you’ve got
And you must feed them your best - whether you wanna or not.
Then when they’re done - oh! - that’s when you give ‘em either
The first child of your blood, or all of your franchises
All that you’ve built, oh!, is it worth the pain
Worth all the guilt - oh - to see your child a Ray?
Many parents chose of course their child to keep
But many a chef was overcome with greed
And that’s how the Rays stayed on top of the game
And that about brings us up to date.
So now you may be keen
To the fear that chilled GG
When Mel
Said that she was with son…
All he’d made, all he’d created
Was to crumble lest he gave their
Son…
What was to be done…
GOLDEN GEORGE
My dear please dry your tears
You’ve nought to fear for our son’s life…
Let the Rays take all I’ve made,
I promise I won’t contemplate
The trade of child for franchise…
NARRATOR
Well, Triple M was overjoyed
But you and me, we know our boy
GG’s not the sort
To sell himself short
He doesn’t give - he takes!
And he’d fight, he might even tempt fate…
Sure he’d changed his ways,
But to give up everything he’d made?? it-
Was a thought that repulsed him, everything he hated.
Well GG Jr came short months later
And his parents love - well, it couldn’t have been greater
And though GG’d been conflicted on what was to be done.
He’d greatly underestimated how much he’d love his son.
GOLDEN GEORGE
Feel how his smile calms me
See how his hands are strong
He’ll be flipping frying pans before too long!
God, he’s such a nat’ral!
See him with that spatula!
One day all that I’ve made will be… no…
NARRATOR
Yes…
And two weeks before lil G turned 5
A letter came in the mail, said “It’s Time.
We march your way in 14 days.
Prepare our feast.  Signed, the Rays.”
Outside there was a storm, but there was a knock at the door
GG turned and saw dripping on his floor
A chef, clad all in mauve
How’d the man get inside?  GG worried this was bad
But the chef simply smiled and acted as if he had
All the answers in the world.  And GG eased, suddenly calm.
He offered the Mauve Chef a drink, but then the chef dropped a bomb:
He looked GG in the eye
And the Mauve Chef said:
MAUVE CHEF
“I can save your son
Save all that you’ve done
But you must be brave,
No matter the pain
And do as I say.”
To be continued…

The Betrayal
Harry’s *Point of View*
“Don’t worry Percival, I’m not really friends with Potter, I’m just pretending” said a voice.
My so-called best friend, Ronald was discussing some very shady business with two of his siblings in the boys dormitory.  Unbeknownst to Ronald, I was hiding in the wardrobe, under my invisibility cloak.
I wanted to leap out of there and surprise them, but my instincts told me not to.  At least, not yet anyway, so I stayed put, and put my hand over my mouth so that I wouldn’t give away my advantageous location. I listened intently.
“Good.” said Percival
“Father wants you to encourage Ginevra to get close to the idiotic brat.  You see, he want’s Potter’s fortune.  The only way he is going to get it is if Ginevra marries the little shit.” he concluded.
“WHAT?” Ginevra shrieked.
“Gin, don’t worry.  All you have to do is persuade him to marry you, knock you up, leave you and the child everything in his will and then he’ll have a ‘Quidditch accident’ and die and you’ll get his money and we can live like kings!”
I heard Ginevra take a deep breath and then she shrieked
“I WON’T DO IT I WON’T I WON’T! I DON’T WANT TO BE LADY POTTER I DON’T WANT TO BE LADY POTTER I WON’T I WON’T DO IT I WON’T I WON’T!”
I chose that moment to leap silently out of the wardrobe, punched Percival in the nose, kicked Ronald as hard as I could in the ‘nards, before I turned to Ginevra and said “I WOULDN’T MARRY A FILTHY DIRTY DISGUSTING BRUTAL BOTTOM-FEEDING TRASHBAG HOOOOOOOO LIKE YOU IF YOU WERE THE LAST WITCH… NO THE LAST WOMAN ON EARTH.” Ginevra looked appropriately scandalised. Someone hissed “NOW” and the “boy’s dormitory” vanished and all of a sudden I was in The Great Hall at dinnertime.   Several hundred stunned faces took in the scene before them.
“BESIDES WHICH I’M GAY.  I AM COURTING SOMEONE AND I AM VERY HAPPY, AND BY THE WAY GINEVRA, YOU CAN TELL ARTHUR AND MOLLY THAT HARRY POTTER IS ON TO THEM AND THEY WILL GET THEIRS IN DUE TIME.” I roared.  I didn’t care if The entire Great Hall or the entire wizard world heard me.  I would not tolerate being treated like a puppet anymore. “Arthur isn’t our father” said Percival in a muffled voice, he was trying unsuccessfully to stem the flow of blood from his nose where I hit him.
“Ronald, Ginevra and I are Dumbledore’s kids” “Congratulations Percival, you have just succeeded in making my wrath a hundred thousand times worse! I am going to deal with this and neither of your parental units will know what hit them!”
“What are you going to do?” Percival whimpered,
“As if I’d tell YOU that” I spat venomously.
Hermione had heard everything.  She came over to me and said “Harry, I’m afraid it gets worse… Dumbledore paid the three of them to befriend us, Draco told me that this morning and Fred and George verified it.  and that’s not all, Harry sit down, I am about to drop a bombshell”
“Not here, let’s go and see Severus.  You can tell us both at the same time.”
“OK, good idea”
We got up… I kicked Ronald in the nuts again and glared at Dumbledore, “You rotten old goat, you’ll get yours.” I hissed and Hermione and I turned and walked out of The Great Hall and went down to see Severus.
“Harry” he said “What’s the matter?”
“Oh nothing… except that Ronald betrayed me and Hermione has something worse than that to tell us”
“Let’s sit down” Severus suggested and he summoned an elf to bring us refreshments.
“OK Hermione, go on, tell us”
“Well… Draco, Fred and George confirmed this earlier… Harry, Lily Evans was not your mother.  Dumbledore used the Imperius curse to hoodwink her into believing that she was married to James Potter and was your mother, but she wasn’t.  You’re not an only child either, you’re a twin.  Remus and Sirius are your biological parents and… we went to Malfoy Manor and spoke with Lucius and Narcissa.  Draco is your twin brother.  Lucius is infertile because Rodolphus Lestrange hit him with a curse when he was fourteen years old.  It was the Avada Maxima Curse.”
“So… Dudley isn’t really my cousin?” “Yes he is, you’re just not related to muggles that’s all.  Dudley is Nymphadora Tonks little brother, he was kidnapped and put into another situation as well.”
“Dumbledore?” “Dumbledore”
I took a moment to attempt to digest that.  I was absolutely reeling.  I felt Severus squeeze my shoulder.
“Is my name really Harry Potter?” “No, it’s Perseus-Orion Black-Lupin” said Hermione “and Draco’s real name is Romulus-Xerxes Black-Lupin.”
“oh… so my whole worthless life is a total and utter lie?”
“Perseus, this changes nothing between you and I”
“Are you sure Sev? You fell for someone who is basically a lie”
“It gets worse” said Hermione “Dumbledore did the same thing to me.  I’m not an only child either.  He stole me from my parents as well… and my big sister.  My mother is Professor McGonagall and my father… is Tom Marvolo Riddle.  I’ve never even met him.  My sister is… or rather was lead to believe that she was Bellatrix Black-Lestrange.  A person that doesn’t even exist.  My real name is Natasha-Jane Riddle and my sister’s name is Persephone Rose Riddle.  Tom Riddle is the real Headmaster of Hogwarts.”
“Where is your father?” I asked “Perseus I have a bombshell of my own to drop on you.  Tom Riddle is the real Headmaster of Hogwarts. He raised me.  He didn’t adopt me — but he raised me after my bastard muggle father Tobias Snape murdered my mother Eileen Prince in front of me and Lily, he was sent to jail for a really long time. He raised Lucius as well.  He’s Lucius’s godfather.”
The Floo rang, snapping us all out of our reverie.  It was Mrs Malfoy.
“Cissy? what’s the matter? Come through”
“Lucius is not himself Severus and I am worried.” “How can we help?”
“We need to find Tom” “I’m already on that” said a voice from the door”
“Metatron?” “Yes Severus it’s me.”
“Is Tom OK?” “Yes he’s fine, Serendipity is helping him explain everything to Minerva and to fix things with her.”
“Find Draco, Fred and George, then I need you to bring Lucius through”
“OK”
“What about revenge?” “Don’t worry Perse. We’ll get Dumbledore.”
Metatron gathered everyone in Sev’s living room with a flick of his hand.
“We all know the truth now so it’s revenge time”
“Let’s form our own Mafia”
“OK Perse”
“I WANT PUBLIC REVENGE”
“Yes, so do I” said Romulus “Let’s hit Dumbledore where it hurts the most… his vaults at Gringotts!”
“Funny, I thought I heard him groan when I kicked his son Ronald in the nuts earlier tonight” I said with a sly grin.
“You kicked Ronald in the nuts?” asked Lucius
“Yes.  He deserved it too.” I concluded “Hell, I should probably have aimed a crucio down there as well but oh well”
“Damn I wish Rodolphus Lestrange hadn’t been kissed the day after he attacked me.  I’d have loved some revenge” “I kicked him in the nuts after you were taken to the Infirmary” Narcissa admitted.
“That’s my witch!”
All of the males in the room, except for Metatron winced when Narcissa admitted to that.
“What?” said Metatron “I’m as anatomically impaired as a Ken Doll.”
“Next time I see Dumbledore I’m going to kick him there while wearing a steel toe-capped boot!” said Lucius
Everyone including Metatron shuddered at that!”
“Right… it’s show time… come on follow my lead.  I am forming my own mafia”
“Let’s go and give Dumbledore his comeuppance!”
We went upstairs.  Arthur was waiting for us.  He was furious.
“Molly just told me every little thing that she’s done.  I’ve had her arrested and…” He collapsed, foaming at the mouth and twitching.
Severus sprang to action, took a phial of purple potion out of his pocket, added some of Arthur’s blood to it and cast a Timer charm.  After three minutes the potion turned a sickly yellow colour.
“He’s been poisoned” said Sev.  he conjured a stretcher and he and Lucius took Arthur to St Mungo’s but it was too late.  Arthur died not long after arriving at the hospital.  Lucius and Severus came back just as Sirius and Remus arrived at Hogwarts.  I had contacted them.  They performed a blood adoption ceremony, adopting Arthur’s four boys — Charlie, Bill, Fred and George.  Molly screamed and yelled but was ignored
“YOU ABUSED THOSE BOYS MOLLY PREWETT! YOU IGNORED THEM. YOU TREATED THEM LIKE A BURDEN” Sirius yelled “THEY ARE NO LONGER YOURS.”
“You’re just in time I’m about to take care of the goat problem” I told Remus “By forming my own mafia”
“I knew letting you watch The Godfather was a bad idea Harry” he said. I ignored him.
“Dumbledore isn’t going to know what has hit him”
Several hours later, Severus and I were cuddling on the couch, Sirius and Remus were sitting cuddling on the other couch.  A loud shrill scream was heard coming from Dumbledore’s office.  I had asked Dobby to leave him a little gift on his bed.  Obviously he found it.
“What did you do?” “Oh nothing, I had Dobby leave a horse’s head in Dumbledore’s bed.”
Everyone gasped and Severus said,
“Remind me never to cross you Perse"
The next morning, As I entered the Great Hall, Dumbledore stood up.
“If it’s a war you want Mr Potter” he sneered,
“It is a war you shall have.”
I walked right up to him and slapped him right across his wrinkled old face as hard as I could. “MY NAME IS NOT HARRY POTTER YOU EVIL OLD GOAT! THE HORSE’S HEAD WAS JUST THE BEGINNING OF MY REVENGE… I AM GOING TO WREAK A TERRIBLE VENGEANCE UPON YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.  YOU WILL SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES OF YOUR ACTIONS”
I clicked my fingers and Lucius gave him The Kiss of Death before I clicked my fingers again and the Aurors flooded in led by Amelia Bones.
“Albus Percival Wolfric Brian Dumbledore, you are under arrest for embezzlement, fraud, kidnapping, endangerment of minors and impersonating a ministry appointed official” she said.
All kinds of merry hell broke loose…
The end, for now. Feel free to review just remember I was a special needs kid who went to CATHOLIC MAINSTREAM school so I’m not educated

Blog Info - Canon
This blog has a very divergent canon across all the timelines my muses come from that is based in Star Trek (reboot continuity). Their canon events happened, but they diverge following various incidents. With exception of Saavik, all kids grow up to become superheroes known as Starfleet’s Marvels.
Star Trek
Let’s start simple. Saavik is 4 when her Romulan father is killed by angry Vulcans, and her Vulcan mother was already dead from illness by then. All it leaves is a small orphan on a planetoid in the neutral zone. She’s on her own for five years, fending for herself off the land. She learns to survive quickly, learns that when faced with a problem, you need to attack it before it attacks you.
So when she’s nine, a landing party of Vulcans tells her to get a sharp stick and fight back. Fortunately, most of them leave… but there’s one woman.
She has Vulcan ears, but her eyes are… kind. Not emotionless, as mother’s, as her father’s murderers, but… gentle. And she notices Saavik, when the others do not. She doesn’t get close. Her name, she tells Saavik, is Rebecca– and she is not Vulcan. She is human, with some Changeling genetics that allow her to change her ears.
She tells Saavik she is with Vulcans because they are her crew, that she has made her ears this way because her adoptive father is a Vulcan, and she offers to take Saavik far from this planet. Saavik is wary of her, when another Vulcan arrives and sees her.
Saavik feels it would be better if it looked like the woman is her prisoner, so she grabs her and holds up her stick menacingly. He moves on, seemingly laughing, but Rebecca reassures her and finishes her thought.
Saavik doesn’t have to stay with Vulcans if she does not wish to. But she could leave this planet, and have a real bed… warm food… clean water… a family, perhaps. So she leaves with Rebecca… but quickly becomes attached to the woman, calling her “mother” before two days’ time on the ship.
When she is a teenager, Saavik is kidnapped for ransom, and her mother trades places with her. By the time her father and the rest of the Polyhymnia crew have saved her mother, she has no memory of anything or anyone. Saavik lies to Starfleet recruiters, claiming that she has her grandfather’s permission to enlist (as she is 16 and could fast track) in order to join Starfleet and fight in the war for her mother. So… she’s grounded a year later, when her mother’s memories are back and she’s angry, but proud, and so she’s allowed to remain, a science officer on the USS Orville.
Shazam
It should be noted that this canon takes place in a timeline where Marvel and DC superheroes exist together. You’ll also notice some Heroes crossover, don’t worry about it.
Following the end of the movie, the kids go about their daily lives– hiding their identities from their foster parents, doing superhero things as needed, mainly living out normal lives.
Or, at least, they were until a man named Sylar figured out their secret identities. After their powers, he murdered their foster parents, leaving them once again without family… except each other.
Given their secret and their bond, the kids ran off together, continuing to fight crime and do their best to create a normal situation, on the run trying to keep away from Sylar. Unfortunately, a super villain battle causes him to catch up with them… well, anyways, it would be unfortunate if not for the woman who had suddenly appeared on the street during the battle, stunning the Sandman and stepping between them and Sylar when he’d arrived.
This was Rebecca. She was a young woman who looked at them as superheroes and saw the children they really were, and they as children got to see the adult she really was. They would tell their story– how Sylar had killed their parents, how they were on their own and didn’t know what to do or where to go, and she would offer to bring them back with her, to her universe and year– 2291. They would accept, becoming among only 8 superpowered humans in their timeline at the time of their arrival.
Brightburn
Brightburn, Kansas was gone. All that was left was one little boy, survived by some fluke, some miracle, but nobody knew that just yet. Brandon had left a trail of destruction in his wake, and was wrestling with his emotions.
Because inside of him was more than just an instinctive call to take the world. Inside of him was a 12-year-old who was terrified that he’d killed the only family he’d known even considering what they’d wanted to do to him. Even his mother…
A noise had jarred him and he’d whipped around to find a confused young woman, in a uniform from those really old space shows that sometimes came on TV when he was growing up, who cocks her head at him, telling him she’s lost, and her name is Rebecca.
He notices the weapon at her side, and fires his laser eyes at her, missing intentionally, just enough to scare her and make her disarm, which she does unquestioningly… unafraid. Why wasn’t she scared of him?
She helps him, as he wrestles with his feelings. Rebecca doesn’t hate him for what happened to Brightburn, even though he tells her. She tells him what her mother did to her, how she was abandoned, scorned, mocked… and tells him a story she knows, about two wolves at odds within every person, and how which wolf wins is the one that wins.
He doesn’t know which one he wants to win. But he takes her hand when the golden lights swirl around her, and goes back to her ship with her. Maybe it’ll be better there for him. Away from the call of his ship, away from the horrible things he’s done.
The Boys
One day, following Vought’s unveiling of a transporting technology that meant any of the Seven could be on the scene of a crime in seconds (instead of just certain people), Starlight curiously approaches the thing… and a glitch causes it to transport her off to a destination unknown.
The location would be a starship known as the USS Polyhymnia. When Annie panics and prepares to attack the strange people on the ship, she’s abruptly knocked unconscious by a twelve year old with glowing red eyes before being carried to the brig for the ship’s safety… and one of its science officers is called in to see her.
Rebecca meets Annie, a 17-year-old who just got out of hell even though she’s uncertain how she feels about it. Annie is cagey about the world she came from, but admits to being a superhero, lighting her eyes up with the yellow-ish glow when the woman briefly shapeshifts to a dark blue form with black hair and yellow eyes. Rebecca offers to give the teenager a place in her family and… admittedly scared of the risk of going back… Annie accepts.
One day, unexpectedly, another arrival appears from her old universe. He calls himself Homelander and when he learns he can never return to where he came from, sets his sights on one thing and one thing only: the same level of adoration in this universe as he had in his own. The immediate way he sees of doing that? None other than Starlight’s new mommy, poster child of Starfleet, face of the Federation, Rebecca.
Now, Rebecca is married and completely devoted, but a silly little thing like that won’t stop him. He forces Annie to help him lure out Rebecca away from others, capturing her and taking her into Romulan space to hide her and erase her memories again. Which would have been more successful if he’d known this timeline had just come to peaceful relations with Romulus and six Starfleet ships would be quick to get on the hunt for him.
They’re going off almost nothing until Rebecca, amnesiac again, wakes up… and her gut tells her the man saying he’s her husband, and that he loves her, is lying, and remembering voices when he calls her Rebecca– people, talking to her. Parents. Siblings. A man who calls her ashaya and his voice is so gentle and comforting and familiar…
She tricks the man who has her hostage into letting her call her brother. James answers and is greeted by her calling him by a nickname. A nickname she uses as a code word for being in danger, while she taps her nails against the console. V'Len on the Polyhymnia translates the tapping as morse code– her coordinates, and the ships locate her with ease after that.
Homelander kills two security officers from the USS Mayflower, but he doesn’t get a hand on the others– Rebecca’s siblings and husband, and James lands the killing blow against him, snapping his neck before going to help restore his older sister’s memories.
This is when Annie finally realizes how much Rebecca loves her, as she’s released from custody on Rebecca’s own order. This is when she starts to feel accepted in her new family… even…
One day, while having ice cream with some of her younger siblings, Brandon asks her what her world was like. And she’s careful. Her brother is only going on thirteen, there’s no need for her to go into detail, but Mary picks up on what she’s not saying…
As does Rebecca, who had been walking into the mess hall with T'Ri. As quickly as she’d heard what Annie had been through, she’s gone, going to the transporter room with such a murderous glint in her eyes none of her crew question her, transporting her to Annie’s universe per her request.
Rebecca sits in Homelander’s chair with the back turned to the room when the others arrive, informing her of their feelings without knowing who was really in the room yet. When she turns around, she reveals the truth– Homelander is dead, Annie is safe… and they’re going to die that day by her hand.
Queen Maeve is spared. But the others… it’s brutal. Especially The Deep. Annie never learns the story, just sees her mother come back covered in blood… with Hughie in tow.
The vigilante gang had arrived at Vought with the intent to finally kill the supes, but were astonished to find one young woman in a Star Trek uniform wiping blood off her hands and three corpses. She would tell them of Homelander’s own demise and Starlight’s safety, punching Butcher himself in the face upon realizing who he was and what he’d done to her daughter. It was Hughie who pleaded with Rebecca to take him back… and so she had, after dismantling Vought’s transporter and he’d called his own father to say goodbye.
The Runaways
Everything is set for Rebecca to retire at long last.
Well. Until a transporter malfunction strands her back in her old timeline. While she tries in vain to get in contact with her ship, she runs into a group of children… and a dinosaur. Questioning what she’s looking at, Rebecca keeps them from running off and convinces them to open up to her.
Fortunately, this is when her PADD that runs her timeline assessing program kicks back to life. These children allegedly vanish sometimes around now, believed kidnapped and killed by the Church of Gibbon.
Rebecca convinces them to leave with her instead, and decides to test out a new piece of technology invented by a group of (accidental) universe hoppers that allows her to make a transporter door to her own universe, bringing all of them back with her… but only adopting four, allowing the other two to be adopted by some on her crew to not harm the relationships present within their group. (Find Dex, Sophie, Keefe, Fitz, Linh, Tam, Marella, Biana, and Stina on my main indie, starbcrn-kids)
The Darkest Minds
This is where it gets really messy. Ruby would be the first exception Rebecca would make to altering a timeline’s plotted course, convincing Cate to give her Ruby after breaking her out of Thurmond instead of letting Ruby suffer as she had any further past that point.
This, however, would take place after rescuing young Jude from an explosion, bringing both back to the Polyhymnia with conflicting and confused memories that she would explain to them both after settling her emotions regarding their universe. She hated herself for not being able to save them all.
So Brandon would be the first to suggest the alternative. Maybe their mom can’t save everyone… but they can. He gathers his superpowered siblings and Saavik, and convinces them to return to the universe Ruby and Jude came from, sometime after Jude’s alleged death, and start a revolution. Free the camps, save the kids, and overthrow the president.
Ruby is uncertain but insists on going along. Now adults, Billy convinces the captain of his ship (the Enterprise), also known as his aunt Demora, to perform the universal shift to attempt the revolution. When Demora is captured by President Gray, the team of Rebecca’s children beams down to the California coast and begins the revolution, eventually rescuing Demora and returning home with a number of extras– including kids who Ruby thinks, in another life, may have been her best friends somehow. (Find Liam, Chubs, and Vida on my main indie, starbcrn-kids)
Following this mission, Demora follows her older sister’s footsteps and retires, and while her own first officer is assigned a ship, Starfleet asks Billy to take the mantle as captain of the Enterprise considering his role in the rescue mission, which he nervously accepts.
Truth be told I normally hate using passwords, but in this case I’m going to require one. Please either like this post or send in “cheeseburger” to let me know you’ve read the blog canon.

Blog Canon for Mobile
I will include a short version of the canon but you need to read below the cut as well. There’s a lot going on on this blog and let me emphasize this, I will not be portraying them as they appear in their canon. I will cross them over to other universes including back to where they come from but they will still follow this primary canon.
I don’t know some of their universes super well. This is why I don’t write their pasts much.
The short version is this blog is based in a Star Trek-inspired universe, and the 15 muses present on this blog were adopted by a woman named Rebecca, one of my muses on a different blog. They are all siblings of the 23rd-24th century. Specifics below (each muse is sorted by verse), again, PLEASE read and leave a like on this once you read them.
