Why the hell does English not have more color categories???

Like, these are all the same color according to English

Why??? None of these are even CLOSE to one another, nevermind the same!!!

At no point should the top left one be in the same category as the bottom middle or bottom right. They aren’t even close

I could go on but I do unfortunately have actually important things to do so I’ll leave it here now, but seriously we really really need more basic color categories

#I’m super synesthesic so basically everything corresponds to at least one color #words. sounds. people. everything #emotions are the big one though and that really benefits from a stupid-specific color label #there’s difference between happiness and excitement is goldenrod and electric lemon and that doesn’t work if it’s just yellow and yellow #but it also means it’s really hard to explain because I mean like ‘towel purple’ which is a reddish desaturated slightly lighter eggplant #which very much isn’t lavender or bright purple or eggplant itself #those are entirely different feelings #but I can’t explain that without like an entire visual color dictionary because there just aren’t many words to refer to color specifics #I should make one of those though. that’d be nice #but point is I need more words

there is something that drives me nuts about the names of the manga chapters of death note actually. like it's probably not symbolism the way i am seeing it but still, it's just so. cool to think about. like the fact that L dies in manga chapter 58: feelings within. oh i wonder what feelings light is having within him. it could start with homo and end sexuality. and and the fact that the chapter that soichiro dies, where light cries and begs his father to write mello's name before he dies, is called "a fine performance". there are more manga chapters i am not normal about but now, i can only really think about those two.
