OMG!! I feel like we are back in 2010, when people would post cryptic song lyrics as their Facebook status, mostly as a sly little message to whoever they were crushing on at the moment. These two finding little ways to reference some very interesting and relevant songs in recent days. It’s so cute! ❤️

So Taylor wore a Shania Twain t-shirt last week with the song “Any Man of Mine” featured on the front. The lyrics of which talk about wanting a man that is proud of you, and who really gets you as a person and what makes you happy.

“I need a man who knows how the story goes”

“He’s gotta be a heartbeatin’, fine treatin’, breathtakin’, earthquakin’ kind” 😏

And then, today Travis posted photos of his game day fit on Instagram with a caption “keep it chill like Sauvignon Blanc,” quoting lyrics from the song “Lil Boo Thang” by Paul Russell. (Also a favorite wine of Taylor’s, I might add 😁) The lyrics talk about finding a girl you think is amazing, shooting your shot, and basically saying like “I can be your man/I’m the one you’re looking for.”

I just find it very interesting that these are the songs that have been on their minds lately and that they felt like publicly referencing in a way they probably know the other will see/hear about. 😌😁❤️ That’s all!

eddie diaz is a secret swiftie and he has a playlist full of songs that make him think of buck and he cries every time he hears Best Day bc it makes him think of chris growing up and whenever he posts on instagram (literally once every three months) he uses taylor swift lyrics that he keeps in a note on his phone as the captions (he doesn’t know how to lock the note so it’s labeled “grocery shopping”) and when he and buck fight/argue he tries to see how often he can sneak a taylor swift lyric into the conversation. buck surprises him with a set of all her cd’s for christmas one year and tickets to the eras tour. (yes eddie still uses cd’s he insists they sound better) chris loves listening to his dad serenade buck in the kitchen with taylor swift when they think he’s asleep. after the All Too Well (taylor’s version) (the 10 minute version) is dropped the entire family refuses to watch any jake gyllenhall movies. eddie saw the headlines about taylor swift and joe alwyn breaking up and made buck text taylor kelly to see if she could confirm if it was true.

buck is an edm fan and a huge raver bc the beep boop noises help his adhd. he’s PR’d like 7 times listening to subtronics in the gym. he and chris make kandi together and when chris hands him a “rave dad” kandi he cries. he drags eddie to a lowkey rave and they take chris to another smaller one before they’re convinced to take a week off and take chris to lost lands once he turns 13. eddie volunteers his time as a medic to festivals in LA while buck runs off and makes tons of friends. buck wears mesh tops and body glitter while eddie wears a dj shirt with shorts (“why are the inseams on these like 3 inches buck?” “you have to be a little bit slutty it’s a rave!!”) chris loves being on bucks shoulders to see the stage and with most festivals being accessible and chris being cute they oftentimes make their way to the rail and can headbang together. chris falls in love with the scene and surprises his dad and his buck with a 60 minute set of taylor swift remixes for their anniversary after they get him equipment one year for his birthday.

Y'know what pisses me off? People hating celebrities, not for actions, but as people. Like, the same way you would hate a classmate.

Hating Kanye West I can get, he's literally a self-proclaimed neo-nazi

But Taylor Swift? You can dislike her music all you want, you can criticisze her fan base (even then the intense hatred and micking of anyone who passingly enjoys her is disgusting but that's a different topic), but hating her? Just her whole being?

You don't know her. You can't hate someone's personality if you don't know her freaking personality. She is not a dorm mate you had in college that got on your nerves, she's someone you've never met and never will meet that makes music a lot of people tend to like.

I do not CARE if you think she's the "most mediocre white woman to exist", you don't. f+cking. KNOW HER.

And this goes for so, SO many other people, too, Taylor Swift is just the easiest example. And it's always women, too, especially ones with fanbases that consist mostly of young girls.

It just pisses me off that people can claim to hate somebody that they only see, like, a shadow of. Internet culture has turned being a "hater" into a funny and cool thing that doesn't harm anybody but if anything it's just harming you. Go outside, take a walk, find a cool stick, and for the love of God, just shut up about how much you hate Taylor Swift
