Speaking of one more to grow on.

In the 6 years since the tragic loss of Chester Bennington, Linkin Park has only seen their legacy continue to grow.

This year saw the 20th anniversary edition of their signature album Meteora where it brought us the hits Faint, Somewhere I Belong, and From the Inside.

Two of the major jams that defined the group to come from that album were the internal mood thinker Numb.

Along with a great animated video for their other jam known as Breaking the Habit.

Now with this new version an unknown song came to the forefront.

Known as Lost this tells a similar mindset as Breaking the Habit though with a more personal side from Chester.

Like the former this also has an animeesque video. Where Chester once again does what he did best.

Sheer vocal talent.

His legacy will be forever remembered.

SUM 22: Chester Bennington returns via an ironically named unknown track from Linkin Parks signature album. The animated music video is the perfect compliment.

As if people are dissing the music video for Lost by Linkin Park. What the actual fuck? First of all, listen to the damn lyrics. The lyrics are about being stuck in your head, lost in your own mind, unable to escape your past and all the wrongful things that have happened. Being caught up in mess. The music video is “all over the place” on purpose because it’s depicting what the inside of someone’s mind is like. As someone who suffers with depression, listening to the lyrics is incredibly therapeutic and the music video stood out for me because it’s quite literally how I see everything in my own head. Confused, blurry, messy. Nothing is perfect in regards to the animation because nothing is perfect in the mind of the person singing the song or the person resonating with the words.

Also besides the meaning behind it all, have some fucking compassion for the fact that Mike and the guys didn’t have to release anything else in regards to Chester. They could have kept it for themselves but they’re absolute legends and gave it to us because they knew it would be important for fans to hear it. Be fucking grateful.

AND if Chester was alive rn, he wouldn’t give a fly fuck what anyone has to say about it. So you’re wasting your time.
