Emmanuelle Pichon, codenamed Twitch, is an Attacking Operator featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege Pichon grew up in a family of academics in the historic city of  Nancy, France, where the children were encouraged to excel in Math,  Science, and Technology. Early participation in sponsored computer  programming competitions led to her joining the army cadets at sixteen.  Almost immediately her talent was recognized, particularly in robotics.  Her superiors quickly encouraged Pichon to study engineering while  continuing her career in the military with the GIGN.  From the start, Pichon's focus has been on adaptable technology that  aids soldiers in the field. While there is much praise for her  technological achievements, Pichon's tactical prowess and ability to  problem solve quickly and efficiently make her a crucial operational  asset.

In 2015, Pichon was led by Olivier "Lion" Flament on a mission to Nigeria to assist medical personnel fighting the Ebola epidemic. Tragedy ensued, and the decisions Flament made for safety reasons put him at odds with Pichon and Gustave "Doc" Kateb,  who blamed him for the death of several medical personnel on-site  including Kateb's colleague. Later that year, Pichon's unique  combination of talents made her well-suited to join Rainbow.

In 2016, Pichon met Taina "Caveira" Pereira and had some kind of relationship with her, but to what extent remains  currently unknown. While not deployed on missions, Pichon proved  invaluable for Rainbow's R&D Department. She assisted in the  improvement of the team's equipment and was noted to have helped Elena "Mira" Álvarez in the development of Morowa "Clash" Evans' CCE Shield in 2017. In early 2018, Pichon assisted Rainbow's new CBRN Threat Unit with a situation concerning a mysterious mist on the shores of Sussex.  During the operation, Pichon provided Olivier Flament with a new aerial  drone that allowed him to determine the source of the mist plume. In  2019, Pereira went AWOL in Bolivia in order to search for her brother. Pichon and Meghan "Valkyrie" Castellano subsequently collaborated with Ghost Recon to conduct Operation Archangel in order to recover Caveira which proved to be a success.

In June 2020, Pichon and Julien "Rook" Nizan were in Paris, France when two large fires emerged downtown. The GIGN  deployed the pair and several other officers to keep order from the  chaos caused by the fire. Having faced a similar situation during  training under The Program,  Pichon and Nizan suspected the fires had been started in order to  distract from a major bank heist across the city. They tracked and  confronted the robbers who started firing at them. Nizan was shot in the  head but was saved by his helmet. Pichon and Nizan then pursued the  robbers across Paris in a high-speed motorcycle chase and eventually  caught them.

In 2022, Pichon was placed on Rainbow's new humanitarian squad, Wolfguard, under the leadership of Gustave "Doc" Kateb. She and Gilles "Montagne" Touré later traveled to Belgium to recruit Ngoma "Sens" Mutombo into Rainbow. weeks later, Pichon and Doc acted as control for Operation Vector Glare. The pair directed Montagne, Sens, and Olivier "Lion" Flament to rescue of an architect who was being held hostage at a refinery by  local militia. It was believed that this architect held schematics that  would detail how Nighthaven was involved in Masayuki Yahata's assassination. A high-res image of Harry’s new board just dropped, and I’m gonna analyse and transcribe as many of the notes as I can. There are parts I couldn’t decypher, so if you want to zoom in the image yourself and help me fill out the blank, I’d me more than grateful!

The yellow post it above everything else says: The most practical application of my skills is to determine who works best with who. I eliminated interpersonal friction as best as I could so we can move forward efficiently.

My #1 post of 2022

There’s been a lot of talk about AO3 and censorship lately, due to one of the candidates to the OTW board. And I realised I have very strong Opinions:tm: about censorship and the freedom AO3 stands for.

Censorship is not a solution. It doesn’t work and it’s not even easily agreed upon where the line should be drawn. What some people might deem as immoral or reprehensible is not the same others will consider so. For example, you and me can agree that sexual stories about minors turn our stomach, yet other people would also include LGBT+ content there, even the sfw ones, and others might decide that any sexual content at all is immoral. So, how do we agree about what to ban, when nothing of it is even illegal?

because let’s be honest, it’s all fiction. As in, not real. Things like incest, rape and pedophilia are illegal irl, but not in fiction. Cause they’re not harming anyone. Really. You can find it disgusting, I certainly do, but I also recognize no person, no actual human, is harmed in the making of those stories. Because they’re made up and about made up characters. I won’t seek it out, and if I see someone making that kind of content I will most probably avoid them/block them (without harassing them), but they have the right to create any kind of fiction they want.

It always baffles me how readily understood that is when it comes to murder and violence in fiction. Nobody thinks that someone who writers murder mysteries or procedural shows really wants to go out and kill people. However, as soon as it’s about sex, people are up in arms ready to believe that those make believe scenarios are an indicative of someone’s real desires. Why is that? And since we’re on the topic of double standards: why are people clutching their pearls about fanfic, but literature gets a free pass, more or less? You go into a library and you’ll find lots of books with shocking and distasteful topics, including those that contain pedophilic content (like Lolita, to put a famous example), incest (Game of Thrones, among many others), rape, murder, etc. But they want me to believe that fanfic, the medium with severely impaired social acceptance and magnitudes smaller reach, is the actual problem that will “normalize” those ideas? Nah fam, I smell a moral panic, and people finding fanfic writers easier to bully into submission. Because this is all about controlling what forms of creative expression are deemed acceptable. Fanfic IS a form of art, popular art if you will, but still art. And by virtue of how AO3 is designed, it’s ridiculously easy to never see the kind of stories that you find objectionable.

Tags are a wonderful thing. I can specify what I want and what I don’t want in my story results when searching! Tags are the author being responsible and giving due warning. Especially the “dead dove: do not eat” tag, it lets you know that the content of the story will have questionable content, proceed at your own risk or keep scrolling. Same as the “chose to not use archive warnings” that one is a warning in itself that the story might contain triggering/upsetting content, and it’s the prerogative of each reader to decide whether they’re comfortable continuing reading or not. Ultimately, it’s all about taking responsibility for one’s decisions. People who are in favor of censorship in AO3 either don’t know how to control and curate what materials they access, or feel entitled to everyone else taking their morals into account instead of taking responsibility for their own experience in the archive.

None of the stories on AO3 is illegal. Fictional stories are not illegal, not even those dealing with unsavory topics. The archive makes people agree to continue reading whenever you click on a story with a certain rating (or without any rating at all, just in case!), so the reader is giving their consent to continue reading, they’re making an informed choice. Same as with the tags. They’re there, they’re a warning. If someone reads the tags, finds them displeasing and still continues reading, that’s on them. If I find a story with tags about rape/non-con, for example, I keep scrolling. Cause I know I will find the story displeasing and upsetting. The people clutching their pearls and going “but think of the children!” are, mostly, people who refuse that responsibility and ask the world to accommodate them and their morality. And then throw around words like pedohilia and accusations of “kiddie porn” careleslly, watering down the seriousness of such accusations. No, an explicit fanfic of twin, underage siblings going at it is not CSA. Cause there’s no real children involved in it. It might be disgusting for a lot of people (me included), understandably, but you can 100% avoid reading it and interacting with the people who write those. 

Finally, let’s not forget the recent history of fandom spaces, shall we? LiveJournal and Fanfiction.net both had purges of content, after some campaigns for censorship gained traction and popularity. So now everything relating to certain topics is eliminated! Well, except that also includes communities of support for survivors of sexual abuse (it happened in LJ). Well, except that the people pressuring for censorship weren’t happy with the gay smut either, so a lot of LGBT related stuff is now also gone! (happened both in LJ and ff.net). Except, in some countries anything sexual at all, is frowned upon, so why not ban that too? Censorship supporters will always move the goalposts, forever shifting their aim whenever they accomplish something. Because it’s easier and more comfortable to make others conform to their standards than accepting some artistic expressions will be uncomfortable to some people. And trust me, none of them will care if the dark fic in question was written by a survivor of similar experiences trying to cope with their trauma or raise awareness, or if it was done simply for titillation or to safely explore different scenarios in fiction. And the topics that were banned in those websites didn’t disappear at all, they just weren’t properly warned for/detailed in the summaries, so anyone could stumblre upon them by accident. The complete opposite of what happens in AO3.

AO3 was created by people who lived through those censorship events in different fandom spaces, as a response to it. To seeing whole communities and swathes of fan content being unceremoniously deleted overnight. AO3 is an archive and an online library, not a social media platform. It’s a safe haven for anyone to host their fan creations, but that doesn’t mean it’s a safe space as people understand the term in other platforms. In AO3 you make your safe space by using the tags. Because that is the only real way we can have a safe haven for EVERYONE. 

The thing about freedom of speech is that sometimes, you have to defend things you dislike (that, I repeat, are legal in this case), because experience has shown time and time again that as soon as you give an inch to the censors, they take more and more. And today they’re up in arms about “pedophilic fanfics”, but once that is done? It might be all nsfw content, it might be trans related content, it might be something else. But it will happen.

FaZe parts ways with VALORANT roster, casting uncertainty over future amid acquisition reports

All five members of FaZe Clan's men's VALORANT roster were made available to the vast unrestricted free agency pool today, hinting at a future exit from the game. The release of the roster means Andrej “babybay” Francisty, Kevin “poised” Ngo, Phat “supamen” Le, Anthony “mummAy” DiPaulo, and Tanner “TiGG” Spanu will all move on from FaZe. Later today Harry will be arriving just a day before the other r6 crew will be here. Well the ones that said they’ll be able to make it with some of their family members. Harry wanted to arrive a day before because he had secret Santa to organise for everyone. He already done away for everyone else that will be coming, he just had Mozzie, and Lion left with their family members. Everyone was gonna be involved no one will be missing out.

It’ll be a few hours before Harry will be arriving, the Goose family and guest have a long day planned ahead, plus it was a scorching hot day 38 degrees Celsius today. Prefect day to go to the beach and cool down. And well Oliver and Alexis was for sure no where used to this hot weather. Alexis was laying on the tiled floors in the lounge room under the aircon, he had to change out of his jeans to some shorts. He was still sweating, he was most definitely uncomfortable by the heat.

Oliver was understanding why the house had tiles all out the house, and only carpet in the rooms.. the house would be way too hot if the lounge room also had carpet. He was sitting on the armchair which had a direct view of the kitchen, he could not understand how y/n could be cooking in this heat. Maybe she was a bit cooler, wearing what she was wearing. A crop top and short shorts, honestly it was a nice view to look at. Oliver couldn’t help but admire the females body, as he watched her mess around in the kitchen, whatever she was cooking it also smelt nice. Before he could get noticed by anyone, he adverted his eyes and looked at the tv. Some ballet training movie was being big played, which is what Samantha, laying on the on the couch was watching. “Why you watching ballet?” Oliver asked as he was curious on why an Australian teenager was just watching a ballet training video of all things. Like he knew it wasn’t a problem if she liked ballet of course. Samantha rolled over to look at him. “Oh um.. my instructor told me to.” She shrugs. “I do ballet” she told him and rolls back over to look back at the tv. “Oh” was all Oliver said. “Yeah, mum used to as well, but ended up quitting” There was some sadness in her voice. She had even mumbled something, but Oliver didn’t quite hear what she said. Oliver was just about to ask what she said but Samantha quickly spoke again. “She sometimes helps me out, and she used to be really good at too, Nana and Poppa have a lot of trophies” Samantha smiles.

And at that moment y/n came out of the kitchen. “I’ve made breakfast” she tells the people in the lounge room. Samantha paused her video getting off the couch and headed to the dinning table. Alexis managed to get up from the floor, he didn’t want to move he was finely stopped sweating. McKenzie who was sitting on the floor also got up and hurried to the dinning table.  Oliver stood up from the armchair. “That’s what smells good” he grins. “Well yeah, there’s pancakes, bacon, egg, toast, baked beans, hash browns, stuffed mushrooms.” Y/n listed, with a proud smile. “Oh wow a big breakfast” Oliver was slightly shocked how much food that was mentioned. “Well a lot of people” Y/n rolled her eyes playfully, and wondered off to go get Max, Lozza and the twins.

After everyone had eaten breakfast, Max had mentioned to Oliver that Harry will be coming around later. But beforehand, they’ll be going to a shopping centre for the kids to see Santa and to take a photo, then they’ll be heading to the beach after lunch to cool down and have a swim. He then had to explain that a shopping centre was a massive centre with a whole variety of shops and a food court, the American movies and television shows call them malls, and supposedly every other also calls a shopping centre a mall, and understood the confusion Oliver did have. 

It was around 1100 and everyone was ready to head to the shopping centre. Y/n had dressed up in some Santa dress, and dressed McKenzie and Samantha in festive clothes as well, all ready to get photos with Santa. Max’s twins had matching clothes as well.

They took two cars, the Toyota ute and the Toyota Camry. Max, Lozza and the twins went into the ute, meanwhile Y/n was driving the Camry, had Oliver in the passenger seat and the three children in the back. Yes it was squishy but it was the best way to go.

They all arrived at the shopping centre and went inside by the entrance Santa and his elves were just set up and other families were lined up to take their photos. Max in his own Santa suit stood next to y/n “you ready?” He asked her. “Every year” she smiles, holds Mackenzie’s hand as they lined up behind the other families. Max pulled Oliver and Alexis into the line with them. “You should get a photo with Alexis” he says and pays Oliver’s back. “We booked you in” y/n smiles. “Our Christmas present to you.” Oliver looked at the two and smiles softly at them, then looked at Alexis and spoke to him in French. “We’re getting a photo with Santa, y/n and Max organised it” Alexis smiles “okay papa” 

Once it was their time with Santa. It was Y/n and Max first they always took a photo each year for their parents. They got their photo done, Max stepped to the side so Mackenzie and Samantha could get a photo done, they stepped to the side so Max, Lozza could get one done with the twins, it would be the first photo for the twins to be taken of. It took awhile because one wouldn’t stop crying one of the elf had a toy and was dangling it behind the camera to get babies attention, and it worked the photo was taken. Oliver and Alexis then got their photo taken. After the photos were taken they had a look of the results and got the packs they wanted, a mug for the parents, a few different sized photos.

“What we gonna do for lunch” y/n peered over to Max. “Well the food court has a variety.” He pointed behind him. There was an area that did in fact had a whole variety of different food places. From McDonald’s, KFC, Red Rooster, Hungry Jacks, Subway, sushi, Chinese food, Indian curries, Kebabs, and just a few other places as well. “Or we could go to a café”. Max suggested. Y/n looked up at Oliver. “Well you’re our guest here what would you like to to do?” She asked him. Oliver looked around at the fast food places. “What does that pink place have?… Wendy’s?” He asked “oh hot dogs, ice cream, milkshakes and coffee” y/n told him. “Oh okay.” He spoke, looked like he started to think. He looked down at Alexis. “Is there anything you want?” He asked him. Alexis looked up at him. “What’s hungry Jacks?” He had asked his English was broken. Oliver looked at y/n, she smiled and bent down to Alexis height. “Do you know what Burger King is dear?” She asked. “Oui” He nodded. “Well it’s like that honey, just a different name, for reasons.” She said standing up straight. “The burgers are better at Hungry Jacks” she says the slogan of the franchise. Yes it was true in Australia Burger King was named Hungry Jacks, the story behind that is when Burger King was first introduced to Australia, they had to change their name, as Australia already had a burger shop, named Burger King. So Australia went with Hungry Jacks.

Alexis told Oliver that he wasn’t really interested in the food that was in the food court. So everyone had headed to the café that Max had mentioned. The Coffee Club. It was a café that was basically big in Australia and pretty much at every town. Everyone knows The Coffee Club.

After lunch, everyone had headed back to Max’s residence. Well y/n dropped Oliver and Alexis off, so she could drive herself and the girls back to their home so she could do some washing, and get them ready for the beach. By 1430 They were ready and the washing was done. The young adult female that was house sitting the house, just had to bring their clothes back in from the line once everything was dry. Y/n had let Samantha drive them back to Max’s house, and by 1500 everyone had headed to the beach, Samantha was lucky to drive to the beach as well, with Alexis and Oliver also in the car. This was normal in Australia for learner drivers, they can start driving around the age of 16 if accompanied by a full licence driver. Which in this case was y/n. Y/n just found it funny that a tall gentleman with a large body mass was squished in the backseat with a child in a car seat, and a grown child on his left, maybe the middle seat wasn’t the wisest choice for Oliver to sit, at least the car ride wasn’t that long.

Once at the beach, the car was unloaded and everyone headed down to where the sand was. Max was setting up the beach umbrella, y/n went to give him a hand with the beach tent that max had gotten for Lozza and the twins to sit in. Everyone was having their fun in the water, Lozza was happy with the twins in the beach tent, and Samantha stayed on the towel just relaxing. Y/n was with Mackenzie just at the start of the water, Mackenzie didn’t want to go too far in because she still wasn’t good at swimming, this gave a relief for y/n she didn’t have to worry about Mackenzie too much with the massive waves. Oliver quickly learnt that the beaches in Australia were rough, he too was happy at the start of the water standing next to y/n, who was just watching Mackenzie. Oliver was keeping his eye on Alexis though, as he kept getting knocked by waves, he wasn’t yet in any danger, plus Max was staying with Alexis. So Oliver knew he was safe.

“It’s nice to finally cool down” y/n says to Oliver. “Yes it is” He responded, a soft sigh of relief.

It was just unexpected, out of no where, rain. Heavy rain just started to pour down. This was a cue for everyone to head back home. Lozza took the twins up to the ute, strapping them up in their seats and waited in the car for Max. While everyone hurried to get everything packed and into both cars. “Mum..” Samantha began to speak to y/n “no you’re not fucking driving in the rain.” Y/n interrupted, knowing exactly what Samantha was gonna ask. “You aren’t ready yet” she added. Samantha mumbled to herself and snatched her L yellow plates throwing them in the back seat, she was grumpy the drive back home.

Once everyone got back to Max’s, y/n instructed for Mackenzie to have a shower. Max was in the dinning room rubbing lotion on himself, he was sunburnt, and badly. Y/n sat down at the dinning table with him. “I’m need that for Mac” she tells him. “Sure” Max nodded. Oliver came into the dinning room. “The rain.. came out of no where, there wasn’t even any grey clouds” He says, he sounded a bit confused and shocked. “Yeah, our weather a bit wild” Max laughed a little. Y/n laughs and slapped his sunburnt shoulder. “No wonder it was so fucking hot today” “ouch fuck you” Max winches from the pain from the slap to his sunburn. Y/n just grins. Just some normal blunter.

After everyone had showered to wash away the sand, and those that got sunburnt which was mostly everyone had put some lotion on. Everyone was sat around the tv and a movie was playing. The rain was still pouring but it was soft now, and pizza was ordered for dinner, no one was bothered to cook dinner tonight. 1830 a knock on the door, everyone one thought it was pizza, although it was a British man. Harry, Max let him inside out of the rain and lead him to the lounge room. “Well hello everyone, I see that Oliver here as well, which is prefect” Harry says. The movie was paused as Harry shuffles paper in a hat he was holding. He had explained why he was there and that everyone will be doing secret Santa. He bent down to McKenzie. “Would you like to pull the first name?” He asked her. She stood up quickly and ran off to run of the rooms. “Oh” Harry stood up. “I’m sorry” y/n stuck her hand in the hat, pulled out a named piece of paper and shoved it in her pocket without looking. “Don’t worry about it.” She smiles, and shoves her hand again in the hat pulling out another named piece of paper, this time looking at it, and walking off to the side. Then Alexis followed after Samantha, Lozza Max and Oliver. “And that’s everyone” Harry says and sat down on the couch. The door had a knock, y/n answered it this time, Oliver had gone with her to help her out to carry the pizza inside, while she had two large soft drinks in her hands. “You look a bit stressed” she says to Oliver. “It’s just the Pierson I got for secret Santa, I don’t really like him. That also means he’ll be here in a few days” he tells her putting the pizza boxes on the bench. “Here pass me you paper, you have Macs” she says pulling out the named piece of paper out of her pocket and hands it to Oliver. Oliver handed her the paper and took the one she had out of her hand. “When you don’t like someone, let a child pick out their presents” she grins.

Do you think Doc comforted Lion finka left?

Definitely not (my HC, not fact)

I’d go as far to say that the apparent betrayal and fleeing of the ops to Nighthaven left the Rainbow squad in pit of turmoil. The week or so following their departure would have been filled with some of the ops fighting and arguing and some of them shouldering the blame or placing it on others.

Doc, as kind hearted as he is, would have likely done both. He would blame himself and look inward for ways he could have helped and guided Finka better whilst she battled with demons of her Illness and her work. But also he would argue that Lion didn’t do enough either and should have tried to stop her or been a better friend and seen this coming.

They likely came to blows again but ultimately Doc went back to cold shouldering Lion, and lion went back to hiding behind objectivity and denying his emotions.

Headcanon time!... Rook edition

- A total sweet tooth. No wonder why he sneaks out to raid the fridge at night for either a slice of cake or getting a delicious bonbon. This results in him getting chastised by Doc when caught in the act.

- One of the operators that’s in the “Very Patient but Scary Anger” squad. Unlike Thermite who blows up in rage, Rook is more of the tranquil fury type.

- Highly values trust. One surefire way to really piss him off is betrayal (... and no! There are no pineapples involved here!)

- One of the two GIGN operators who steps in if Doc and Lion are up to their silly tensions again (Get a fookin’ room you two!). The other one is Montagne. Twitch is the middle ground a.k.a the referee.

Rainbow Six Siege update wants more players to pick Thorn

The most recent designer's notes for Rainbow Six Siege have just been published; they describe the next FPS game update's balancing adjustments and how operators will play differently. With this balance update, the creators of Rainbow Six Siege are concentrating on putting operators on an even playing field, boosting characters like Thorn in the hope of making such trapper options more enticing to players. The update includes a number of adjustments to skills and load-outs, including both additions and deletions. From Thorn’s load-out boost to Oryx’s reduced interaction time, you can find an overview of the Rainbow Six Siege operator balancing update changes below. Operator balancing update Thorn UZK50GI - Sights: Added 1.5x. Thorn is currently one of the least-picked trappers on defender lineups. Her loadout is being boosted by adding a 1.5x sight to the UZK50GI, which should increase her popularity within the trapper ecosystem. Nøkk HEL Presence Reduction - Removed silent steps while the ability is active. - Increased the duration of the ability to 20s (from 12). - Updated glitching reasons. Deception is always a controversial topic and Nøkk’s ability is conceived around it. She can become invisible to observation tools and at the same time mute her footsteps. She is leading some of the main frustration for defenders and this update aims to tackle this. In a quiet environment, everyone should be able to hear someone else approaching, and Nøkk’s ability to move silently breaks this rule. The update removes the silent facet of the ability in exchange for increased ability duration. Vigil ERC-7 - On observation tools, Vigil will share the same glitching effect as Nøkk. - The ability won’t deactivate while performing certain actions, like shooting, and will instead trigger the glitch effect on observation tools. - Vigil won’t be immune to Lion’s EE-ONE-D or Grim’s Kawan Hive. Both gadgets will detect him, but he can prevent being pinged down by activating the ERC-7. Nøkk and Vigil share a similar ability, and in the pursuit of consistency, this update extends Nøkk’s cloaking rules to Vigil. With this change, Vigil will glitch on observation tools while performing actions like shooting, deploying a gadget, or sprinting. These new interactions will reward players that proceed more carefully while using the ERC-7 and will punish those who act more carelessly. Oryx Hatch Climb - Reduced hatch climb interaction time by 30%. Game data shows that Oryx does not profit much from his ability to climb hatches. The update aims to make this interaction smoother by reducing its recovery time. Part 3 of Lion x Reader

A few days have passed since Oliver has arrived in Australia and has been staying at Max's family's house, in the spare room with his son Alexis.

Oliver awake early morning, stretching, and hopping out of the bed he was just sleeping in, and made his way to the bedroom window looking outside. The window was directed to the backyard, Oliver glanced over to the two tents that were put up in the corner of the backyard. That's where Max's younger sister y/n was staying with her two daughters Samantha and Mackenzie. However Samantha had resorted to sleeping on the couch in the lounge room, so one tent was always empty, as Mackenzie slept in the same tent as y/n.

Oliver stepped away from the window, glanced at the still sleeping Alexis, he pulled his right arm up and looked at the time on his watch. 0600 it read. Alexis would be asleep for a few more hours. Therefore Oliver quietly went to the dresser, and pulled out the clothes he was gonna wear for that day, and headed to the bathroom that was upstairs. After getting dressed and putting on his pj's which were just a singlet and pj bottoms, putting them away on his bed he headed downstairs. The lounge was just at the end of the stairs, and there on the couch sat a grumpy teenager. Oliver didn't think much of it and didn't want to get involved, he steps outside on the front porch to get some fresh air.

There y/n was sitting on the porch swing couch, reading a book, and a coffee on the armrest. "Good morning," Oliver says to her and smiles. y/n looks up from her book and smiles up at Oliver. She pats the spot next to her suggesting for him to take a seat next to her. "Morning, I wanna chat," she says sweetly. Oliver took the seat next to her, watching as she took a sip from her coffee and putting the mug and book down. "Is it okay?" She asks to suggest rocking the swing couch, making it move in a swing-like motion slowly. "It's fine" Oliver nodded, and would occasionally move his leg to give the swing couch just an extra boost. "What would you like to talk about?" Oliver had asked y/n. "Well, you're gonna be in Straya for a while." She stated, glancing up at him. "Do you have any plans to do while you're here?" She had asked. "Well to be honest I don't have any idea where to start, and I don't wanna miss anything. I want this trip to be fun and memorial with Alexis and myself" Oliver tells y/n as he looks right at her, locking his eyes with hers. After a few seconds went by y/n blinked shook her head and averted her eyes away from his. "Well, this is just an offer, and you can think about it." y/n pauses for a moment. "But, I have a camping trailer, and normally take the girls on a holiday before they go back to school. If you want we could take you two around places that'll be worthwhile your time" she pauses again, looking back at him again. "It'll also save heaps of time and money, and finding the right coach or train is a can't of a thing and cost a lot plus then hotels." She rolls her eyes. Oliver was silent did a short moment and took a deep breath. "You'd actually consider having Alexis and myself to come with you and your daughters?" Oliver asked as he glanced at her. "Well yeah, you're a pretty awesome bloke so far, and two extra people won't be too bad, it'll actually be fun for everyone." She smiles. Oliver seemed a little confused by "bloke" but he had a feeling it wasn't a bad thing considering she did say pretty awesome, he figured it just meant more Australian slang he was trying to get used to.

"Will your camper fit all of us?" He asked the big question. "Well, it would, plus as you know I do have tents. But with the camper, it has a double bed, and the roof pops up, which is split into either two doubles or four singles. And it has a little living space, like storage, bench, sink, fridge and a couch with a little table. The outside parts pull out as well, for a kitchen, and shelter. The kitchen just a gas burner, and a table really." She answered his question. Oliver nodded as he listened to what she was saying and explaining. "You know what, it actually sounds good, as long as it's fine, Alexis and I will come along on your trip." He flashes her a smile. Y/n smiles back and playfully punch his arm. "Alright, after Christmas we can go." She tells him then gets off the swing couch, picking up her mug and book.

Samantha slams the front door open, with a grumpy expression. "I need to go to woolies" she grumbled. "You could bloody ask nicely" y/n sighs, heading inside and coming back out with her car keys. "You want anything?" She asked Oliver. He told her he was fine and didn't need anything, she nodded and headed to her car, the grumpy teenager following behind.

So I wrote one like over a year ago, but it was too messy for my liking so I’m gonna rewrite it! 

Before I get into what I will and won’t do, the requests can take me a while. It all depends on the ship/prompt and motivation. I don’t like putting out things that’ll suck, especially if it’s requested by someone. I hope you understand! And yes requests are always opened, just shoot me an ask or a DM. 

Big disclaimer: When it comes to Ghost I will not write him in a way that makes him seem like an asshole for no good reason. I absolutely hate when he’s portrayed like that and personally I think it’s a bad take on the complex character that he is. I’ve dealt with that interpretation for a decade now, I’m tired and i hate it. I will also not write Roach in a way that makes him seem weak. He’s a soldier in an elite group, he’s far from weak.
