REVIEW

I absolutely LOVED this episode!!! It was SO hilarious :D XDD. There were serious moments, but it was funny like, 80-85% of the time XDD wonderful lol. I liked how even though there were definitely people the storylines focused on (and different levels within that), we still got to see everyone today :DD. That was really nice 🥰🥰. I was hoping we'd get to see Carlos (since it's not always a guarantee) so even though it was only for a bit I'm glad we did :D. And we only saw Paul and Marjan for a few scenes but they were still there :)). Anyway! Great storylines all around :)).

Now it's time for the individual parts!

By the way, since the new episode is tonight this probably won't be very long :). But also, I have less to say on the more humorous episodes anyway lol, so it works out

Paul and Marjan! Didn't see much of them but they were wonderful for what we did. Their strategy of trying to get donations XD Or at least, what we saw, of Marjan talking about the gunshot XD. Y'all crazy 😭 xD. Anyway! I love her :)). And of course! I love him <3. And they were great at their jobs!

Judd and Grace! That first scene XDD. Hilarious lol. They were, as always, adorable 🥰🥰. Also Grace helping out TNT with beating Paragon to the call was gold XDDD. I love her so much lol. Speaking of, she was great at her job, as always :)). Judd was also wonderful at his job :D. And back to that first scene, Judd talking sports with the rich guy xD amazing. I love him lol <333.

Mateo! NANTEO MOMENTSSS 🥰🥰. And I'm sure we'll get more next episode too :D. Quick note on that while we're on Mateo: I am scared o.o ಠ⁠_⁠ಠ. Anyway xD. His whole thing with not actually having read the book and then trying to was great lol xD 🥰. I love him :DD. Also, he was great at his job :)). Lastly, it was fun seeing him throughout storylines - man was just around to hear it lol xD.

Nancy! My girlll :DD. Again, Nanteo momentsss 🥰🥰🥰❤️!! She was also just kinda Around for several parts of Owen's storyline, which I just found funny XD. Also, my girl was fighting for her life against Paragon 😭😭. Seriously though, she had the most insults out of the bunch xD. Honestly a slay though lol. I love her 🥰. And of course, she was amazingat her job :D. I do have to say though, the bloody bus was ridiculous XD. In a good way, but still lol.

TK and Carlos! We didn't see much of Carlos this episode, but he was lovely 🥰. Why was he telling the story of his kidnapping XDD 😭😭😭. That was so out of pocket lol. Hilarious though, especially with TK jumping in about the stalker xD. Anyway, I'm sure Carlos was great at his job lol. I love him 🥰. As for TK, if Nancy was insulting people the most with the Paragon situation, he was the most tired XD. Something would happen and my man would just siiiiigh XD. Lovely, lol. Also I just have to mention (though I did in my liveblog) him immediately running in after the explosion :'). Speaking of, he was amazing at his job! I love him :DD.

Tommy! She was great this episode lol :)). While actually in the field, up till the end, she was very respectful, but nooot any other time XD. So with Nancy as the insulter and TK as the sigher, I think Tommy would be the polite but fed up one lol. I'm sure they were all equally frustrated but my girl was going off whenever she wasn't being polite XD. Anyway lol, she was of course amazing at her job 🥰. And I am SO GLAD Paragon ended up getting sued in the end >:DD. As they deserve 😌. But yeah, she slayed this episode 🥰🥰. I love her <33.

Owen! He was great this episode xD. I don't care THAT much about Owen's love life, but it's always hilarious so I'm cool with it lol. But I did like the consistent characterization in the fact that this man repeatedly puts his foot in his mouth when it comes to women lol. But specifically something he thinks is true and decides to immediately confront them about xdd. Honestly though, even though I was pretty sure she was just being nice, I can kind of see where he was coming from. Again though, my man didn't need to shout it out xD. Anyway, the scene of the 126 finding out was HILARIOUS lol XDD. It's the fact that none of them even seemed that shocked xD. Like, they were invested, but they were kind just like "this tracks, of course it happens to Owen" XD. Anyway, I do hope Owen and this lady (I don't remember her name) work out though :)). Not just for the money lol, I just think Owen deserves to chill romantically for a little while lol. Also I loved his interactions with Matoe :D. I love him :). Owen, that is xD. And, he was great at his job 🥰.

Overall, I really enjoyed this episode! I thought it was absolutely hilarious XD. Seriously, there were barely any serious parts, and most of those weren't even that serious lol. But even though I love me some angst and serious stuff, I really loved the comedy of this episode xD. Especially since it looks like the next one, while it'll have comedy (how can you have something involving Mateo and Marvin and not have it be funny), will have some serious parts o.o. I'm excited though! Scared too, but excited xD. Anyway, I loved both main storylines and all the other little ones as well this episode :)). It was just a really fun episode :D 🥰🥰.

So yeah! I loved this episode, I thought it was great. I'm a bit nervous for the next one! This has been my review of. . .

descending into deadlochposting on main i don't even care. this show is SO GOOD. i think the thing that really stuck with me throughout every episode is how committed it is to not fucking up women, and especially women of color, just to have a Plot Point + for Emotional Resonance!!! every woman on this show gets an ending that feels earned. (and yes that does include margaret carruthers.) there is just so much love woven into this narrative but they still manage to capture the grim miserable reality of patriarchy without EVER reducing a female character we care about to a Murder Victim or having her horrifically brutalized as an ending!!!! like holy shit, guys, it's actually fucking possible! you can create horror blended perfectly with humor and never actually fuck women over!!!

and yeah actually as a woc it felt really fucking good to watch a show where i got to see women of color (aleyna and tammy and sharelle and miranda and faye my beloved <333) just thrive and be silly and stupid and terrible and also lovable. and also, oh my god, revolutionary, NOT GET MURDERED, even though this is literally a fckin murder show!!! i said to my dad like midway through the series that i just got this sense the show understood how goddamn hard it is to watch television sometimes waiting for that character you love, who looks like you and has life experiences that resonate with you, to get killed, or to be treated like she's not important, and how dedicated it is to not just killing off women for shock value. every woman in this show mattered and had meaning and dimension.

because seriously, SO MANY INCREDIBLE WOMEN!!! abby with her perfect little haircut driving off into the sunset saying Of Course She Knows She's Right About Forensics. aleyna and her husband, her whole heart!!!! vanessa who in a lesser show would have been reduced to The Bad Woman, The Bigot, but we are shown how she has been abused and mistreated by men and how that's so informed her perspective + her genuine love for her son! sharelle who lays down the hard truths, who calls them out -- "all this civility but no fucking community" !!! miranda who learns that she doesn't want blood money from a woman who looks down on her cousin! tammy who is literally just all about that footy club the entire time even as men are being murdered and that's honestly so real of her. skye o'dwyer who perfectly captures that Emotionally Unavailable Dad energy except she's a lesbian and i love her. nadiyah who is Trying Her Best :) And Gritting Her Teeth About It :) faye who has no god damn patience for margaret carruthers and all kinds of blunt determined love for her niece and her daughter. vic who throws herself under the bus because she's just so determined to protect anyone she can after the women in this town protected her and kept her secret for so long!!! cath who parents her emotions and is definitely relentless in her guilting but also so relentless in her love. MARGARET CARRUTHERS WHO EXEMPLIFIES SHITTY RICH WHITE WOMAN. and of fucking course, the legends, the buddy-cop duo of all time, dulcie and eddie, who are just perpetually going around like this

except it's not even working because eddie chewed the leash off.

favorite show of the year by far. so so happy about it. rotating it joyfully in my brain for the next week, probably longer.

They've somehow got a MAJORITY of their fans on one of the most popular shows on TV to root for a guy who is CLEARLY sexually abusing his grandson ~subtextually~, but also sometimes ON SCREEN, and it's hilarious and fucked up, and Morty would kill anyone who tried to take his grandpa away <3

It's the best thing either have going for them. Rick will never fully respect Morty. Morty will never fully respect Rick. I want them to run away together. They're Something

the power dynamic is crazy! Morty's deeply lonely at the start and his grandfather takes advantage of that, rick pulls the kid out of bed, out of school, whenever he wants and gets him to do whatever he wants, covers up their activities, threatens and endangers and inflicts pain upon morty with intent and cruelty. he shapes morty according to his needs, the entire show is about the space adventures of an old man and his 14 year old grandson and you just gotta wonder, isn't it fucked up that this guy's sidekick and best friend and life partner is a kid? and it is!

Since morty is traumatized on the daily rick sometimes takes his memories, he controls what morty can remember (and therefore who he gets to be), the memory gun is just sci-fi gaslighting i say. and there's transdimensional travel and at one point it's revealed that ricks from different dimensions work together to "breed" mortys, ensure they're born (clone a bunch of them too) because a morty by nature is loyal and forgiving and makes the perfect partner that's easy to manipulate, easy to use. i will forever think of the "bred for forgiveness" line as perverted horrifying incest bait<3

Also one time they were hosts for alien parasites and they fell in love and made out and in the Very First episode rick gets morty to stick giant seeds (that rick needs for an experiment or smth) up his ass to smuggle them through security. they had some kind of dragon soul bond orgasm together. my point is it's borderline incestuous abuse and it's crazy that they imply these characters are tied together cosmically.. if they are it's rick holding their red string of fate like a leash

they are together (sometimes romantically/sexually, sometimes not explicitly so) in EVERY universe there is canonically a club on the citadel called The Creepy Morty. Miami Morty has an R tattooed on his asscheek they love each other they hate each other they cant stand being together they cannot be separated Rick loves grooming Morty. like. he has literally pushed Morty into comitting genocides and conditioned him into becoming desensitized to all kinds of sexual and violent things. A personal headcanon, and I shall die on this hill, is that Blades is stronger than HW. This bitty bot goes from carrying a giant boulder in season 1 to the MHQ WITH all 4 Bots on it in season 2, to holding up a whole ass oil rig in season 3. Optimus THE Optimus was having trouble pulling the rope under ground and Blades (smaller than OP and waaaaay weaker than Bulkhead) was the one who helped him. I still think Boulder’s stronger, but Blades has some muscle to him, or maybe it’s just core strength XD. I like to think and if he ever took a swing at HW sparring for whatever reason they’d both be impressed (HW) and horrified (B) by this. He’d still lose tho, I doubt he knows how to fight aside from basic self defense or how to restrain a patient. HW would definitely react like Tylong in that bridge scene, while Blades would run like Po when they told him Tylong escaped.

I feel like Blades’ strength mostly comes whenever he’s focused on the job he has to do, his anxiety is usually what makes him clumsy and/or easily distracted, like in the Hightide ep, he trips and falls when he started backing away cause he got too anxious from Hightide’s intense attitude

When he’s focused though? Damn it’s like Blades is a different bot (he isn’t different he’s just badass <333)

And we even see him hold on his own in multiple episodes, like the virtual video game episode when he fights so many trees on his own, or when he and Bee fight the Energon eater, Blades is far from weak and I’ll literally fight anyone who tells me he’s weak /lh

The thing is tho, I feel like Blades relies on his agility than strength most of the time which is pretty fitting for him

But yep it’s really funny to think of the scenario that Blades would knock down HW, HW would probably feel so proud of Blades for it chcchhcjc

Blades probably wouldn’t like sparring with Heatwave cause HW tends to be a tiny bit rough and very competitive and we even see that whenever they play in the show and it’s always fun and wholesome to see HW and Blades bickering <33333 (and that’s mostly the reason i like to think Blades and HW are the youngst of the Sigma team)

That of course doesn’t mean Blades himself isn’t competitive to an extent and it’s always a delight to see Blades boasting whenever he does something that HW couldn’t hcchchchch

• Kenny at first tries going with it, he doesn’t know where this burst of energy came from but he’s vibing with it

• He loves seeing this energy in you (at first) because you seem so happy and like you’re alive again

• He’s pretty confused on where the energy came from tho especially because you said you felt like a slug earlier. Maybe it’s from the monster you had earlier and it just kicked in?

• But after you suppress an excited scream for the 3rd time and say your organs feel like they’re vibrating is when he starts getting really concerned

• Kenny checks your pulse because he’s thinking you’re having some kind of stroke or a heart attack or some kinda manic episode

• Turns out you’re just really excited for some reason? I mean you did drink a monster and a lot of soda

• But yeah either way it turns out your heart rate is really high, so that’s kinda bad 💀

• He’s definitely rubbing your back and telling you to breathe because you’re like, this close 🤏 to hyperventilating

• You literally feel like you’re vibrating and you’re talking a mile a minute, Kenny loves seeing that twinkle in your eyes when you get excited but Jesus Christ you need to calm down

• He tries talking in a soothing voice to see if that helps with calming you down, and it actually does a little bit

• He also tried getting you to take melatonin gummies to see if that’ll counteract… what ever the fuck you have going on inside you

• Eventually after pacing around the room for 5 minutes you tired yourself out

• He isn't someone who drinks energy drinks or even soda very often because he wasn't allowed to as a kid, so he has a bit of a habit to say you shouldn't drink that kinda stuff as often as you do

• He probably lectures you saying you shouldn't drinking so much caffeine with your size and age

• Definitely makes you do breathing exercises and makes you drink a lot of water

• He also asks you if you take any medications that make you get like this and what you normally do when you get all... concerningly hyperactive

• He was pretty disappointed in you when you said that you straight up raw dog whatever's happening and probably stay up the whole night

• Probably makes you take some kind of sleep medicine like NyQuil or something

• Butters is ready to do anything to help you calm down, ranging from cuddling to taking naps with you to staying up all night with you

• He hates staying up tho, he gets really cranky and kinda whiny

• "Mmmmm, darling- how about you sleep? Please sleep with me, pretty please?"

• He probably tries to give you a massage to see if that'll help

• In all honesty, the moment you stop talking he's probably knocking out

• Poor guy, he tried tiring you out but he only tired himself out. He tries so hard :<

• He probably does calm you down a good amount, you just can't really sleep

• Probably jokingly calls you a spaz all the time now

• Cartman isn't too interested or concerned, he just lets you tire yourself out because he's too lazy to try

• But he's ready to rub your back and cuddle with you once you start getting really tired :)

• It's not that he doesn't care, he just doesn't think it's that serious if you're just really energetic

• Definitely keeps reminding you to breathe once you start talking because you talk so fast you lose your breath

• Probably chucks a water bottle at you and threatens you (light heartedly) to drink it

• He also probably makes a couple of innuendos about tiring you out with sex or something but he's just joking about it to get you flustered

• If anything, he kinda likes when you get like this because you pay a lot of attention to him, and we all know he's an attention whore

• Eric probably gets a little anoyed tho

For Kid and Killer:

there’s some somewhat recent anime episodes where there’s a lot of “I would do anything for you” “I would put my life on the line for you” and it’s just. There’s no way they’re not dating. Also they’re big scary pirates that pillage and fuck stuff up and we love that for them

They have been together committing crimes and killing people ever since childhood and they’re not about to stop any time soon

They are badass pirates who both have a huge bounty on their head. Killer's epithet is 'Massacre Soldier/Murder Mashine' (depending on the translation), so he probably got quite some blood on his hands. Kid is his captain, and has a reputation of not caring about civilian casualties and destroying more than necessary to defeat his opponent. Also, the whole crew crusified some other crew. But besides being murderous, these two care so fucking much about each other! They've been friends (lovers?) since childhood and would literally do anything for each other, including dying. Kid will destroy anyone who laughs at his partner (how he canonically calls Killer), lets himself be recaptured just after he escaped prison to save his partner, and Killer eats a faulty SMILE fruit that stops him from portraying any other emotion than laughing, makes him unable to swim, and doesn't gain him any powers, just to get a CHANCE to save his captain. When Kid saw him laugh while he obviously didn't want to, it broke his heart in many pieces (and ours with it). It's true love, your honor. True, murderous love.

For the Doctor and the Master:

So we all know the Master has killed plenty of people, but, despite their reputation, the Doctor has killed a more than average number too. Sure they undid the whole destroying their own planet thing, but that's still something the Doctor did. Also there's apparently a novelization out there where, when they were children, the Doctor killed one of their childhood bullies but then made a deal with Death so that the Master had the memory of it and became Death's champion, which is pretty messed up and murder husbandish. There are plenty more war crimes on the Doctor's hands, and the Master has killed countless people in a variety of creative ways. Also, I'm having trouble finding the quote, but I swear the Master once said something to the lines of "trying to kill the Doctor is just my flirting" or something similar. But I do know Missy (also the Master but female at the time) described their relationship as "older than your civilization and infinitely more complex". They love each other, they're constantly trying to destroy each other, they are the only friends they each have who can even begin to understand everything they've been through; they've known each other since childhood and they've watched (and helped) civilizations rise and fall together. They may not be who you first think of for murder spouses but they really are a beautiful example.

I try. I'm seriously behind. The truth is, I'll never get around to replying to them all. I will someday die with a thousand unanswered comments. But I do try. And I read each and every one and they touch my heart. I'm so very grateful for all the wonderful comments I've received and continue to receive!

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Oof. I hardly ever end things badly. But there was one wee ficlet; lemme go hunt it down. (*plays elevator music*) Ah, here it is: Not-Forever Is Still Forever. It's not MCD or anything. Draco just leaves for Argentina for two years. *shrug emoji* But I like to think I've gotten pretty good at baking some realistic angst into the middle of things, if not writing angty endings. I prefer it that way.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

All of them except for Burning the Ground, which is an open ending. I'll be honest, I don't like the word fluff. I'm never trying to write fluff, which, to me, denotes a level of uncomplicated sweetness. Maybe others define it differently. But I don't think happy endings are necessarily fluffy. I want my happy endings to put tears in your eyes, to move you. I want to evoke different things with different sorts of happiness for different phases of life. RHR's ending is about a feeling of freedom mostly, of getting to face the next part of their lives without dread. Take You Home has a similar vibe but with them a bit older; they've experienced the painful and mundane disappointments you have to weather in this life that have nothing to do with fighting a dark wizard and everything to do with existential questions about who we are, how we go on, what do you do when it doesn't work out, when you've changed and you don't know who you are anymore. I loved ending it with all their friends, at a march for trans rights. Heart Like Neon has an ending that makes *me* the most happy. I modeled it after an episode of Grey's Anatomy where you find out at the end of the ep that two important characters got married. The whole ep, none of their friends know, then at the end they play 'Bones' by Josh Record, and you go back in time by a few weeks and you see it. When I wrote the end of HLN, I had that song playing in my head from the end of the party at the Weasley's, to jumping three months earlier, to Harry and Draco in Paris. I was going to say hardly ever but then I *just* got some last week! LOL. Still, I'm very lucky that it's not even once in a blue moon. That stuff is so arbitrary too. I'm going to quote my good friend @elrhiarhodan: People... they're fuckin nuts. :D

LOL yes. A lot of different kinds? I want to try a little of everything as a writer.

No. I mean, I probably have a couple times over the course of my literal decades in some fandom or other, but they're not worth noting.

Definitely! In HP I've written with sdk, @the-starryknight and @nv-md, plus I once did a wild round robin with a big group of people. I'm not good at round robins, I've realized. Too much of a control freak.

Drarry, totally. But right up there is Harry/Teddy and Harry/Teddy/Draco. Then Ginny/Pansy, Charlie/Teddy, James Sirius/Albus Severus (with Teddy too sometimes). In CaPri, I love Damen/Laurent, but @linecrosser had totally made me ship when Damen lends Laurent out to Nikandros for a threesome and also Auguste/Laurent. I also hardcore ship my own original characters from my novel. <3

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I don't do WiPs really.

Oof, this is tough. Pacing? Interpersonal relationships? Smut, for sure. LOL. I think I do well writing things that are transgressive or maybe even filthy with a lot of tenderness and compassion and deep, deep love mixed in. And I think I'm getting really good at making people cry when I want them to. Readers, that is. :D

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Convoluted plots. Can't do them. I wish I could. I can't write a mystery to save my life. I'm also pretty bad at heavy angst. I also wish I could write something nonlinear, but my brain just doesn't work that way.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

It's interesting that this is a question because it's meaningful to me not because of fic but because of my novel. I have a Spanish-speaking character, fluent in English, but sometimes he says things in Spanish. I'm very VERY lucky that @capiturecs read my novel both as a sensitivity reader for Latinx/Latine/Latino aspects but also to correct my Spanish and make it realistic and conversational! I'll be forever grateful! I also now really REALLY want to learn Spanish! <3

The two of you were fending off a few enemies, they were coming at the two of you with blazing weapons. Your beloved was more than capable of defending and defeating at the same time but with dozens of these big enemies suddenly ambushing the two of you there was no way he could avoid all attacks. 

While you were defending yourself you suddenly heard a pained grunt and immediately you could smell blood. Turning back around you saw your beloved’s  pained expression and the purple cladded enemy who was raising its katana high above his head with its intention to strike down the person you loved. 

Feeling the blood throb in your temple, your breathing became labored and heavy while you began to experience tunnel vision becoming extremely focused on the two of them, so focused that you didn't hear the other mob of enemies around you. The rage you felt towards the lowly enemy that hurt your beloved was immense, it made you want to rip the enemy apart- so that's what you did.

Kazuha

Kazuha was your battle partner so he was grateful you defeated the enemy before he was struck down, but he sensed something was wrong with the way you acted. He could feel it in the way the winds were reacting. He could also see it in the way you were ripping the enemy apart with pure malicious intents. 

When the enemy was ripped apart with your bare fists, you stood still and turned around towards the other enemies. You muzzle was off and you were smirking so widely that your fangs were visible, your kimono was barely hanging onto your body. 

He was concerned of course, but firstly he let you do your thing with the other enemies until there were none left. But you didn't stop, you almost attacked Kazuha when he gripped your arm with a concerned expression. He had a bruising grip onto your shoulder because otherwise you had attacked Kazuha. There were only a few words he needed to say for you to relax and slump forward into his arms, he was glad that you were calmly in his arms again.

“It's okay, I'm okay. We are safe, I'm right here.”

Xiao

Before he could even react and easily defeat the worthless enemy in front of him, you had already kicked its head off. He was flabbergasted, shocked with the events that just took place in the span of 5 seconds. What he did not expect was for you to go on a rampage on the hilichurls and other insignificant enemies in the area. 

You were ripping anything apart that came into your vicinity. He was frowning, he knew many comrades that lost their lives while they went on a rampage because they lost control. He also knows what it's like to almost lose control, there were many times he was struggling but each time you were there to get him back.

This time it was his turn, his turn to get you back. He didn't want to lose you, there was no way. So he quickly teleported in front of you, luckily you recognized him and stopped your attacks. He could see the way you were struggling not to lose control. And when he placed his hand on your cheek so gently, you snapped out of it. 

“I will be the one to comfort you this time.”

Venti

It felt weird to him, he didn't understand why you suddenly went so ballistic on some stupid enemy that he could easily defeat. It felt insignificant to him that you would go as far as to take your anger out on the enemy for him. But you were so important to him that he didn't want to see you in distress.

Wrapping his arms around your waist, he pulled you snug against him with him laying his head in the crook of your neck. For someone who looked like a weak twink with his noodle-like limbs, he was quite strong as he was holding the struggling you tight against him.  

Blood was gathered over your body and there was some seeping out of your mouth, but you were still in a daze. There was pure rage in your eyes. Your body was getting tired and so you slumped in Venti’s arms. You and him sunk to the ground as he was still hugging you, just in case you would attack again. But after a while he just held you out of pure adoration.

“Let’s get you cleaned up alright?”

Aether

His usually blank face was replaced with a panicky one when he saw the crazed look in your eyes. He didn't know what to do so he stood there rooted to the ground. He was mostly worried for you, all kinds of thoughts running through his mind; What if he couldn't stop you? What if you were not saveable? What if you were gonna attack him next? What if?

All kinds of what if’s running through his mind, but when he saw the pain you were in he quickly looked around the area for anyone that could possibly be hurt by you. When he saw no one he first spoke to you in a calm voice that made you turn towards him. What he did not expect was you rushing towards him with your claws out. 

With his quick reflexes he was able to stop you from attacking him. He was panicking again, it was visible in the strain in his voice and his body language. He was now talking at a faster space to you, hoping you would snap out of it. His hold on your wrists were tight when suddenly he saw tears leaking out of your eyes and your posture finally relaxing. He could see the pain and regret in your eyes, but that was a problem for later he was gonna fix. 

“Don't feel guilty please, it's my fault not yours. I was supposed to stop you earlier on…”

Diluc

A heavy sigh left his mouth as he watched you run around killing all kinds of animals. Maybe he could just let you ruin those monsters so Mondstadt would be a little saver. Even if he truly wanted to let you do that, his body and heart wouldn't allow him. Especially not when you went batshit for him. For him.

He was used to being alone until you came into his life, he already knew that you were dangerous and a demon but he couldn't care less when it was you. It was you who loved him. It was you who understood him. It was you who was always there for him. It was you and no one else, it was you he was choosing. Even if the whole of Mondstadt burned down, his first priority would be you.

So with his heart, body and mind set on you, he cautiously approached you. He didn't want to frighten you nor did he want to fight you. You were ripping a Mitachurl apart when suddenly you were brought into a headlock. It was obvious that you were very tired and that your body couldn't handle much more so when the Mitachurl vanished into the wind and Diluc whispered into your ear to sleep, that's exactly what you did.

“I'll always be here for you, so sleep now….you deserve it.”

Scaramouche/WandererThe annoyed expression on his face did not waver one bit as he watched your maniac laughing. He wasn’t annoyed because of you, well yes but no. He was annoyed that this was happening to you. If he could take your demon side and ‘gift’ it to someone else he would do it in a heartbeat.

But he had to admit it was kind of satisfying seeing you take out all your anger on someone else for him. But he didnt want you staying on this crazy side for too long, so he opted to save you. Even if saving you tasted like acid in his mouth, because he didn't want to see in this state at all he of course as your partner knew that you hated hurting any creature.

So he would for once put aside his pride and take your health in his hands, and he would take care of you. But before he could do that he had to turn you back. When you were on your knees suckerpunching a monster into the ground he took that as the opportunity to knock you out, by simply chopping your neck at a specific angle. And when you fell limp to the ground he took that as the opportunity to carry you in his arms.

“I'm glad that you didn't decide to betray me.”

Just a stupid ramble

I don't care what ANYONE says, Drew totally has some sort of cursh on Jake; Henry and Liam know abt it too. You might think: but he's dating Zoey, he can't be gay. (Well he was dating Zoey lmao, they broke up in the most recent episode)

BUT NO.

Being closeted is a thing. There's a chance that he's gay and just has some internalized homophobia, so he dates Zoey as a way to 'prove' he's straight. Also, throughout the series it is shown how shallow this relationship is, and just how little they seem to like each other. And Zoey is literally a gold digger and cheating on him sooo…… ALSO IN EPISODE 6, when Jake sees him in the mall and goes to hide from him, DREW LOOKS SO UNHAPPY, PROB CUZ JAKE "COULDNT" COME

Okay now that that's out of the way…. Even if he was gay, Jake is just his best friend, how would you think he has a crush on him?

PERFECT EXPLANATION FOR THIS.

In episode 5, in the starting scene in the cafeteria Drew gets annoyed when Jake isn't listening to him. He also acts Jealous over Jake thinking abt the music club, saying, AND I QUOTE "Y'know, I'm starting to wonder if you prefer their company over ours." You can't tell me that isn't showing blatant jealousy over it!!! Then Henry mentions that it makes Drew sound Jealous, and Drew BLUSHES tell's him to shut up, then AGAIN I QUOTE "I'm just saying, you used to care to listen to me." ME. He wasn't talking about him, Liam, and Henry when he said that, just HIMSELF!!! AND THE LOOK HE GIVES JAKE AFTER JUST…IDK IT SCREAMS JEALOUS BOYFRIEND ENERGY. Also then they start discussing how Jake is doing the competition to confess to Daisy, and when Liam is talking to Jake telling him to just confess normally, DREW LOOKED SO SAD. I MAY JUST BE DELUSIONAL BUT HE FR SEEMED SAD ABT IT. Then Jake has to leave cuz he's going to be late for music practice, and Henry (our fav character <333) says, once again I quote, "Don't look so blue, Drew. I know it must be sad to see your boy running off to the music freaks, instead of into your arms" and Drew blushes AGAIN. Alsooo its worth mentioning that Drew is rarely seen smiling. But every time he IS smiling (with maybe ONE exception), he is with Jake!!! ANOTHER THING I FIND THAT REALLY SUPPORTS THIS THEORY. Drew acts supportive towards Jake's crushes, but it seems like he only is when he feels like Jake won't get with them. Like with Daisy!! In episode 1, when Liam tells Jake he should just ask Daisy out already, Jake says he's "waiting for the right moment" (When someone says that u know damn well they ain't doing it) And Drew doesn't think he's actually going to do it, saying, and I quote, "You've been waiting for the 'right moment' for years" if this comment doesn't show you that he clearly doesn't see Jake taking a step to get with Daisy, then idk what else could. But Drew see's that Jake seem's to be taking an interest to Hailey, he doesn't act the same way. Well, at FIRST he does. Once again, I'm using episode 5 to support this lmao, when Jake is distracted during the game, Drew and Liam come up asking why he's making them lose blah blah, he looks over to where Hailey is and pretty much puts two and two together. He teases Jake in the moment, clearly thinking nothing will come of it. But when he sees they are spending more time together, he gets angry over it. Also when Jake says he doesn't like Hailey in this scene, his "Okay" comes off as so angry lmao. Also in episode 9 (the episode that genuinely makes me wanna kms /hj) When Jake is acting all blue, and finds out it's about Daisy, he seems SO annoyed over it. (Though, to be fair, it could be bc he justs wants to spend some time with his friend without him moping abt shit, but still.) When Drew says "Are you singing for Daisy, or for Hailey" He doesn't seem happy about either option fr. When Drew gets reminded of how Jake is singing for Daisy for Hailey specifically, two girls he thinks Jake likes, he has angry outbursts (once again, bro is so jealous) Drew doesn't even bother to mention Zander by name, his anger is clearly just about how close Hailey and Jake have gotten. And what about Daisy? Her and Jake barely ever speak, so Drew isn't nearly as bothered about that.

OKAY. That's all I feel like writing, but there is quite a few more examples throughout tmf that could support this theory!! Just a note, unless Drew has a redemption arc and becomes less judgemental and controlling; this relationship would be toxic, and I understand this. I don't want Drake to become canon (Well if drew has a redemption arc..then maybe I do…) and I don't believe it has any chance of becoming canon, though I really do think that there's a possibilty of Drew liking Jake. Which makes me rlly feel bad for the dude even if he is sort of an asshole :(

if watching something doesn't help, then bachira would suggest you two just eat and go out somewhere afterward that might make you cheer up somehow

he is a very good listener so if all you want is to talk then he is completely okay with it, he has no problem with it

he will only do whatever you say you're okay with, which he always does, but especially when you're upset in some sort of way

and if nothing else worked he would just lie down with you and just cuddle until you feel better or fall asleep, whichever comes first it doesn't matter much to him

he would constantly be repeating how much he loves you and that nothing will change how he views you even if you were to do something so drastic people would usually hate someone for it because he just loves you so much

he would totally give you his clothes to wear while you're upset, especially his jackets and hoodies, he claims they look better on you than him

the moment bachira found out you were upset about something just by a simple text, he quickly abandoned his practice and rushed over to your house, well, not before getting something to eat for the two of you first, he always had to get food when he went over to your place. he knocked on the front door and immediately smiled brightly when you opened the door, "y/n!" but soon after seeing your expression, the smile dropped from his face, "oh, you're more upset than i thought, then," he mumbled under his breath. "i got food, though!" he said, holding up the two grocery bags he had in his hands that he got from the convenience store down the street from your place.

"thanks," you replied, taking the bags from his hands and opening the door wider, and starting to walk back to your room with bachira quickly following after you, closing the front door behind him. once making it to your bedroom, you sat back down on your bed and took the contents out of the bags and placing the food and drinks beside you but with enough space for bachira to sit down too.

"so," bachira started as he sat down next to you, "do you wanna watch a movie?" he asked, situating who had what food and drink before looking at you.

all you did was shrug in response, not feeling in the mood for watching something. bachira nodded silently, opening his drink and taking a sip from it, and then speaking, "is there anything you want to do, then?"

"i don't know," you answered, "can we just eat for now?"

"yeah, that's totally cool with me," bachira nodded again, starting to eat. after a few minutes of eating quietly, bachira spoke again, "so, do you wanna talk about it?"

"it's nothing really, just school stuff," you responded to him, looking up for a second to see him before back down at your food. "i did really bad on the test for math and it dropped my grade a lot."

bachira looked at you confused for a second, and then his face lit up as he pointed at you, "oh! you mean the one we did last week? you wanna know what i got on it? a 58," he laughed.

a short laugh came from you as well upon hearing his grade results, and you looked at him again, "well i didn't do that bad, at least," you said. "i don't know how you get grades like that."

"well, i don't really study now that i think about it," he said, putting his fingers on his chin as if he were thinking hard about something, "but you know, not everyone is great at every single subject! we all have our different strengths in which we are better in, like english over science or something. one bad grade isn't going to be like, the end of the world! it's just one out of like, i don't know like 50 different assignments and tests! so i think it'll all be perfectly fine!" he grinned at the end.

looking at him long for a few seconds, you then nodded, "yeah, i guess you're right."

bachira's already wide grin somehow grew even wider and he reached over the food and hugged you, "yay! does that mean you're happy again?!"

"yes, i'm happy again," you chuckled, hugging him back.

"good! because i love you! and it hurts me to see you upset in any way, so i'm glad you're happy again!" bachira told you, then proceeding to kiss your cheek.

"i love you too, meguru."
