a voice emerges from the corner of the room, it was dimly lit so it was hard to pinpoint where he was located.

the room fell silent, the door still wide open in front of you. it was winter so the air was cold and suffocating, yet you paid no mind. anything was better than being here.

you chew your lip, contemplating if it was better to respond or not say anything at all.

"did you hear me?" he questions again, the creaking of the floorboards indicating he was stepping closer to you.

you whip your head around, the moon illuminating on his pale face. it withheld no emotion, stoic as always.

it was hard to decipher whether he was angry or not, his voice held no malicious undertone.

you inhale, deeply. "no" it was a lie, a stupid one. why was the door wide open then? this was bound to make your punishment worse.

he remains quiet, his gaze lingers on you for a second. "close the door" he requests.

with hesitance you comply, the door squeaks as you slowly close it regretting even attempting your escape at all.

you still face the door, the room completely enveloped in darkness. the floorboards creak again, louder.

"I love you a lot y/n, why are you trying to leave me?" you flinch as he wraps his arms around your waist, resting his head on the crook of your neck. "I wanted to be gentle with you, but it seems I have no choice"

you wonder what he meant by that, but your train of thought is swiftly cut off by a surge of pain erupting from your leg. you lurch forward, mouth falling open in a silent scream. you couldn't tell what was going on due to the dark atmosphere, the sounds of bones cracking is heard before pain blooms in your other leg.

you bite down harshly on your lower lip, trying to stifle a whimper. "I know it hurts, I'm sorry" giyuu whispers in your ear, an act so cruel followed by a voice so soothing. he was really a puzzle "but I'm doing this to protect you, you understand right?" you feel him smiling, it was unsettling.

tears fall from your eyes as you frantically shake your head. "that's fine, you'll learn sooner or later"

this man was psychopathic.
