concept! now hear me out here. pixal and kai... in an arranged marriage.

why I think this would be a good idea:

they have one of the funniest dynamics in the show

I love the idea of royalty, and how the two of them would interact with it differently (I think pixal would understand the system more, and would try to work around it to change things for the better, while kai would be loud and obnoxious about things he wants to change and it would attract attention that could either be helpful or massively backfire)

ninjago AUs make my brain go bzzz

and there are SO MANY ideas in my mind for, like, sideplots. the main plot would be, of course, pixal and kai getting to know each other, navigating their relationship (which would be PLATONIC, of course, just to be clear), and balancing their different styles of being royalty.

potential side plots!

jay and cole working in the palace (perhaps cole as a cook and jay as a waiter- that's the first thing that comes to mind at least) and being, like, the comedic side duo, as well as two of kai's buddies

pixal getting to know nya as well as kai, and nya admitting that she LOATHES the idea of an arranged marriage, although pixal's happy for the opportunity and is rather enjoying the change

kai trying to figure out how to ask whether pixal would mind if he goes on dates with other girls, and then once she says it's fine (they are friends, after all), he also has to figure out whether he actually WANTS to go on dates with other girls (aromantic kai? yes please)

zane is a frequenter of the palace, to visit kai and nya, though he doesn't work there. anyway, he's delighted to meet pixal, and they get to talking, and they turn out to have a lot in common, and THEY'RE SO SWEET AND IN LOVE YOU GUYS

I dont know much about Nezha or how Nezha and Wukong were in the book but I see alot of fanart of Nezha hating Wukong.

I like to believe that their pals.

I saw someone say that they argue like brothers and I don't know, I like Big brother Wukong and Little Brother Nezha.

Obviously I could be completely wrong but they seemed functional in LMK season 3 and 4.

I dont know, them just being brothers that argue but still love each other and would fight for each other is sweet.

And for a duo name, I know people call them Royalty Duo which is fine and all but I've always called them Sunflowers.

2/2 following up on my previous post, here are some character desrciptions --> Quackity - One of the ringleaders of the underground rings, Quackity is the boss of a small and exclusive yet extremely popular and sought-after bar called Las Nevadas. He’s also a Baron, a much lower class than Wilbur (causing unease in their relationship and adding to why they don’t have a public relationship- it simply wouldn’t be socially acceptable). His relationship with Wilbur is described above, and being the focus of the story, it has many arcs. For the most part, it is an odd love-hate relationship among the ron, their repulsion of each other and homoerotic banter becoming a recurring theme among everyone who even knows them. They start in this hatred around the court, but spending every single night together, gambling and drinking and smoking and sleeping together and falling in love. They eventually end up having the news of their relationship spilled to the public (idk who yet) and reach official royal courtship status in the ton, then engagement towards the very end. It’s a rollercoaster, mainly driven by Wilbur’s infatuation with the man since forever, and Quackity’s falling for his charm- however much he jokingly loathes the prince. They do love each other though, truly, but because of the sort of class difference Quackity is often dismissive/unsure of their relationship and this could cause problems. They do really need each other, though, and find that by the end of the fic that there’s no one else they’d rather be with. Quackity was married to the exiled Mayor Schlatt for a brief time before news of his traits and abusive behaviours came to light, and the two were long over when he was exiled and Tubbo was sent into the care of King Phil (Not Q’s son i don’t think). He was raised with Sapnap, Karl, George, and Dream and they were all taught together, so know each other well. Theyre not as close now, but hang out in the underground rings when they can. A comedic, kind, but cold and heartbroken character, Quackity is an integral part of the story and one of the most interesting characters so far. Wilbur - the second-oldest prince, he’s a swordsman-in-training and a bard by practice. He spends each day in court, entertaining and performing princely duties as is custom, and spends each night feeding his addictions in the lower half of the city, in an underground ring of nobility who meet in secret to gamble, party, and be in love and lust without the watching eyes of the ton trained on them at all times. He’s constantly overshadowed by his elder brothers prowess and favour throughout the land, and so turns to his fatal addictions for solace. He has an odd sort of relationship going on with the avian Lord Quackity- they hate each other with quite a seething passion in the court and through the eyes of the ton, but spend every night together forgetting their hatred of one another through nights spent- as roommates, lets say. The two slowly fall in love this way, and their relationship slowly progresses from hook-ups to genuine care, to official status amongst the ton to engagement. Wilbur is expected to marry this season, but no one predicted this unlikely pair ( we are gonna do lots of fluff and cool date hehe). He’s closest with Dame Nihachu and Duke George in court, as they are of appropriate nobility to be close and also because they grew up together, staying thick as thieves all throughout their adult lives. They’re his official advisors and closest friends- Niki was the one who led the two of them to find out abt the underground gambling ring, and heaven knows they all have secrets they want to keep down there. Niki- One of Wilbur’s closest friends, Dame Nihachu is also the court’s resident florist (award-winning) and dress-maker - along with Eret, she handles most of the ton and royal family’s outfit arrangements for galas and the such. Niki was sent away from the court from ages 14-16 to go study at a prestigious dressmaking school in the nation of Bear SMP where she met Minx, a seamstress and assassin who fell for

the girl. hard. The two had a brief but very pog romance, and swore to remember each other when Niki was sent back to the ton to continue with her career and to see her friends again (she would visit often but then permanently came back). From then on, Niki wrote her a letter each night, never sending them but cherishing the memories of the girl who was her only ever true love. In the present, they ended up meeting again in the underground gambling rings where Minx was sent on an assassination mission. The two may rekindle their love soon- who knows? Niki is one of the only people who knows about Wilbur and Quackity, and is one of the most liked people in the tom for her charm, kindness, and incredible prowess in skills mastered only by few. And oh yeah. She likes to light fires in random spots in the city and practice throwing knives in her spare time. quirky amirite. Techno- the most famed warrior throughout the nation, the prince was given the nickname of Techno-Blade due to his incredible wielding skills of the weapon. There hasn’t been a fight he hasn’t lost, and over the course of his career he has eventually been promoted to a major army general thanks to his battle skill and prowess. He spends the majority of his time training relentlessly to combat his inner fears and worries, but enjoys to immerse himself in classical texts when he can to relax. He’s rarely ever in the nation, except for when there are important galas/events or if it’s prime coming out season for the young women and men of the ton. He’s sworn off marriage himself, but never fails to tease his brother (Wilbur) about his frequent passions over both women and men which he confides in the older. He keeps a collection of skulls in a safe in a hidden location in the palace in case the opportunity ever... arises. Him and the second army general, Dream, were raised and trained together and so are close with each other, though the two hate to admit it and prefer to just spar when in each other’s presence. He generally resides in a snowy village, training remotely and rescuing dogs but always loves to come into town when it’s gala season. Dream - The second-in-command of the militia with Techno, Dream is one of the most famed warriors and generals in the land and is extremely close with the royal family. Him and Techno pretend to detest each other but the bickering is truly friendly- they once decided to duel and it made the news amongst the ton for almost a month. He’s steadfast, strong, stoic, but often funny and caring. He’s training the Prince Tommy himself and often gets infuriated with his ineptitude and stubbornness but is fond of him really. He’s the son of Lady Puffy and brother to Foolish, Drista, and XD. He’s absolutely infatuated with Lord George- his feelings are never reciprocated by the man so it’s become sort of a running joke among him and his friends. The two are close, though, he’s closest friends with George, Techno, Sapnap, and Karl. He definitely knows about the underground rings but only goes ever so often- he’s training almost constantly. George - One of Wilbur’s closest friends, Lord George is the leading physician/scientist of the royal court. He usually studies mushrooms and fungi to uncover medicinal cures for the royal family and ailing members of the ton. Tubbo is working as his apprentice and helping him in his laboratories- however his passion for explosives often disrupts George’s preference for the more peaceful, studious take on science. His research is surprisingly advanced for the times and the majority of his cures generally work. He’s still however trying to analyse the red, hallucinogenic fungi cropping up around Minister Halo’s house- nothings been found for that yet, much to his dismay. He knows about the underground rings of contraband and lust but doesn’t yet know about Wilbur and Quackity, a lot of things tend to slip the mans mind. He mainly uses the rings for selling cures and buying foreign and illegal substances he can use in experiments and experimental cures- as well as meeting others interested

in his craft. Lieutenant Dream, head of the king’s guards (along with Techno, head of the militia), is infatuated with the Prince’s friend, but his advanced are more than often rejected by the man. He’s very commonly half-asleep throughout the day, as he works himself to pieces studying in his labs night after night, earning him a reputation for accidentally falling half-asleep in court once. As he is a famed physician, there isn’t much pressure on him to marry but there have been some attempts to set the man up with ladies and men of the ton.

Tommy- the youngest prince, Tommy is being trained in swordsmanship by Dream and Wilbur themselves and is a practical poster boy for the society. Young, accomplished, funny, eye-catching, well-liked- he’s popular amongst the ton but also notorious for his incessantness, relentless mannerisms, and frequent practical jokes pulled off at social gatherings. He’s closest with his brothers, and Tubbo and Ranboo since Phil took them in when they were older and the trio became close friends over time. He doesn’t know about the underground rings yet, but has some suspicion from Wilbur’s actions and words he’s been hearing recently. Plus, Niki tells him all the ton gossip when she can when the two are together- he’s not far off from knowing, but i’ll take him a while.

Tubbo- The adopted son of King Philza, Tubbo is the disgraced son the exiled ex-mayor J. Schlatt, who left him in the care of his close friend when he felt he couldn’t care for him anymore. Schlatt was the mayor of the city, but turned up in scandal after scandal and eventually ended up being exiled by Minister Halo for his drunken, unruly, abusive, behaviours. To this day, no one knows where he is but Tubbo is glad for his absence. Truly glad. Tubbo is studying chemistry and sciences in the royal court with Wilbur’s closest friend and royal physician, Lord George- with a focus in explosives. He knows about the underground ring’s existence, but no extra details- he relays everything he hears back to Tommy and Ranboo. He’s mainly mentored and taught by Technoblade, but also spends time being taught by Nihachu and Philza. Him, Tubbo, and Tommy are close as anything (specified before), and the three adore pulling practical jokes at ton events- something they somewhat have a reputation for. He’s viewed as a genius, almost, through the eyes of the ton but often feels pressured by the expectations laden on him since birth only due to heritage. He’s unknowing of the underground rings- a lot slips past his often dodgy mind as he struggles to remember most things.

Hc that both wukong and nezha see the other as their younger brother nezha is technically older than wukong since he was born before him and that's why he see wukong as his annoying younger brother and nezha looks younger than wukong and in the past he used to be really short so wukong thought of him as his younger brother (though both of them would never tell the other that that think of him as family)
