concept! now hear me out here. pixal and kai... in an arranged marriage.

why I think this would be a good idea:

they have one of the funniest dynamics in the show

I love the idea of royalty, and how the two of them would interact with it differently (I think pixal would understand the system more, and would try to work around it to change things for the better, while kai would be loud and obnoxious about things he wants to change and it would attract attention that could either be helpful or massively backfire)

ninjago AUs make my brain go bzzz

and there are SO MANY ideas in my mind for, like, sideplots. the main plot would be, of course, pixal and kai getting to know each other, navigating their relationship (which would be PLATONIC, of course, just to be clear), and balancing their different styles of being royalty.

potential side plots!

jay and cole working in the palace (perhaps cole as a cook and jay as a waiter- that's the first thing that comes to mind at least) and being, like, the comedic side duo, as well as two of kai's buddies

pixal getting to know nya as well as kai, and nya admitting that she LOATHES the idea of an arranged marriage, although pixal's happy for the opportunity and is rather enjoying the change

kai trying to figure out how to ask whether pixal would mind if he goes on dates with other girls, and then once she says it's fine (they are friends, after all), he also has to figure out whether he actually WANTS to go on dates with other girls (aromantic kai? yes please)

zane is a frequenter of the palace, to visit kai and nya, though he doesn't work there. anyway, he's delighted to meet pixal, and they get to talking, and they turn out to have a lot in common, and THEY'RE SO SWEET AND IN LOVE YOU GUYS

Nya grunts in pain as she's thrown to the floor for what seems like the fiftieth time tonight. Scrap N' Tap is always rough - she has her growing collection of scars to account for that - but tonight seems different. Colder, somehow, and so much harsher than ever before. Her ribs are bruised to hell and the blood filling her mouth indicates that she's lost a tooth. The chuckling of the crew slowly falls silent, and her blood begins to run cold as a shadow looms in front of her.

Of fucking course. Why else would the pirates stop holding back unless he wanted something?

"Oh, my dear," and FSM the way Nadakhan calls her that in his sickly sweet tone just makes her want to throw up, "I can tell you're tiring of all of this. Why don't you just give in and stop all this pain?"

Nya spits out a mouthful of blood (and what she's almost certain is one of her incisors) at the djinn. "For the last time, dickbag," she hisses at his disapproving glare, "I'm not wishing for shit."

Nadakhan sighs as he floats closer, ignoring her attempts to flinch back. One thing she’s learned since being stuck on the misfortune? The captain has no fucking sense of personal space. It’s a trait that makes her shiver with disgust, especially when conversation circles back to the reason theyre stuck in this tango.

Speaking of which…

“My crew have been searching day and night, and your friends are still nowhere to be found.” Nadakhan’s golden eyes steadily burn a hole into her soul. She looks away, favoring the sight of her blood dripping onto the deck over that of the djinn’s face. “It seems that they are particularly good at hiding where I cannot see. But, my dear, you’ll come to find-” he grabs Nya’s throat in a bruising grip, ripping a strangled gasp from between her teeth as she's choking again, she can't breathe she can't breathe she can't breathe - "I always find what I'm looking for eventually. The other ninja will be in my grasp within the month, and once I have them? They will know pain like nothing they have known before, I swear to you."

He throws her to the floor once again. Her bruised ribs cry out in agony, but the feeling of air entering her lungs again drowns out the now familiar pain. A calloused hand finds its way to her hair, twisting a loose strand, and once again Nya has to fight back the urge to vomit.

"It doesn't have to be that way if you could just tell me where to find them. I can be merciful, and while it cannot be denied that I used to despise you for destroying Djinjago, it was not your intention to do so. Ever since you joined us-" ha, joined as if my only other choice wasn't to let you have him - "I have found it harder to argue against your usefulness. You would make a brilliant pirate, my dear."

Nya gives the djinn no response other than a scoff. She would rather die a million times than to see the day she'd willingly take orders from this son of a bitch. He sighs and turns his back on her, floating towards the center of the Scrap N' Tap arena. She wishes she had a knife to plunge into his spine.

"Your friends would not need to suffer, either, as long as they agreed to cooperate as well. I could let you all help me in my rule over Ninjago. It is... unfortunate that your brother and the nindroid were too late for this deal, but once I have my Delara back and receive infinite wishes I could be persuaded to bring them back-"

"HIS NAME IS JAY, YOU BASTARD!"

Nadakhan freezes. The rest of the crew falls eerily silent as well. Nya has been in control of water long enough to know that this is what it feels like in the calm before a raging storm.

"What did you just say to me?" The djinn asks, his words knife sharp. He turns to face her once again, and shit he's fucking enraged. It takes everything in Nya to glare back at him when her brain is telling her it's not safe run away DANGER RUN-

"His name is Jay, not Delara. I don't give a shit that he looks like your dead fucking fiancee - they could be twins for all I care - that doesn't change the fact that he's his own person. Delara is dead, Captain, and I'd rather gouge out my own eye than let you marry him because you think it will bring her back."

Nadakhan's nostrils flare as he flies towards her, arm outstretched as if to hit her. Nya can't help it - she flinches away, squeezing her eyes shut as she waits for the blow to come.

It doesn't.

After a few tense seconds, she looks up again. Nadakhan floats there, a peaceful look across his face as if he hadn't appeared ready to end her fucking life a moment before. Has he somehow managed to calm himself down

"Let me get this straight, my dear," and nope, he's even more angry than he was before, if the way his words drip with icy venom are a hint of his current emotional state, "Despite what you say about your precious Jay, I'd know my beloved anywhere. He may go on believing that he is not her, but once I have him in my grasp - and I will have him - he'll be whoever I say he is. And once I wed him and gain infinite wishes, I will be able to bring back the soul of my beloved Delara from the departed realm. With her spirit in his body, we will be reunited at last!"

Nya has to actively fight her nausea as she looks at the djinn's dreamy expression. Pure unadulterated horror courses through her. She knew that the djinn wanted to marry Jay under the delusion that he was a reincarnation of his bitchass fiancee, but for him to blatantly admit that he didn't give a single shit about Jay's thoughts and feelings on the matter - to admit to his plan of letting Delara permanently possess his body??? - makes her actively sick.

"You're a monster," she gasps, and it only makes him grin sadistically. "Jay will never marry you! He'll fight back every step of the way, and so will I!"

"My dear, Jay doesn't get a choice. No matter what, I will wed him and we will rule Ninjago together. And as for you..." His grin only grows wider as he looks away from her to admire the gleaming metal of his hook. He gestures to Dogshank and before she knows it the beast of a woman is restraining her, and despite her struggling she won't budge. "You're very against this wedding, aren't you? In fact, if my memory hasn't betrayed me, I recall you saying you'd 'rather gouge out your own eye than let me marry him'.

Nya freezes. The djinn is getting closer, too close, and the way he's gazing at his hook sends a bolt of terror through her. "I - I didn't actually mean that!" she stutters as her efforts in struggling against Dogshank double in intensity. She's completely unable to move, however, and her breathing gets harder and faster as Nadakhan raises the curved blade to just above her left eye. He wouldn't really, would he?

Nadakhan pauses, golden eyes roaming over her terrified face with amusement. "You didn't?" He asks, faux disappointment drowning his voice. He begins to pull away his hook, and the sigh of relief she lets out is embarrassingly audible.

"I guess I'll just have to do it myself, then!"

The hook pierces her eye.

The pain is instant and blinding. it's so much worse than every other injury she's faced as a ninja. It courses through her veins, hot and heavy, with no sign of stopping.

The hook digs deeper and though she can't hear anything she knows she lets out a scream as she feels it tear through her eye, ripping through nerves and tissue. The pain whites out her brain, she can't think of anything else, she can't breathe, she can't see-

It feels like minutes of agony as the blade twists and digs through her eye socket, hell bent on causing as much pain as possible. It's working. She simultaneously can't feel anything but her eye and feels every inch of her body as all of her nerves echo with pure blinding excruciation.

Then the hook freezes, and she's only given a brief reprieve from the pain before it yanks out of her socket, taking her eye with it.

The blinding pain overwhelms her again as nerves are ripped from the space her eyeball occupied moments before. Through her ringing ears, she can hear someone screaming. A minute later, she realizes that those are her cries.

She's dropped unceremoniously to the floor by Dogshank, where she lies in a growing pool of her own blood. The pain is still coursing though her, but it slowly ebbs... along with her consciousness.

Through rapidly closing eyes - eye, she only has one now - she can see Nadakhan as he floats towards her crumpled form. He lifts her chin gently, seemingly admiring his handiwork. Not has never been this tired. At this point, the pain is set aside as her body shuts down. Nadakhan tuts at her visible exhaustion and wipes away her tears (when did she start crying? She can't bring herself to care).

"Poor girl," he mumbles, his mournful tone a sharp contrast to the (rapidly blurring) smirk on his face. "This wouldn't have had to happen if you had just told me what I wanted to know."

Fuck that. She gathers the last of her strength as she glares at him and rasps, "'m not tellin' you shit".

Nadakhan scowls, but it quickly turns into a self satisfied smile. "Even in a time like this, you still have your fire. Good. And as for you 'not telling me shit', I believe you now. But mark my words, my dear..."

Nya is drifting off; Nadakhan's voice is getting more and more muffled as she sinks into her exhaustion. The last thing she hears are the djinn's parting words to her.

"Jay and the rest of your friends will be mine eventually. In fact, I doubt I'll have to look much longer. I guarantee you that they'll come to me themselves."

this took me a crazy short amount of time compared to most of my writing. I'll have to thank @tornoleander for that because I listened to the girl with one eye (Florence + the machine) like you mentioned when talking abt my au and DAMN it got me in the mindset for this like nothing else lemme tell you. If there were to be a ff!au playlist at some point that would definitely be on it (along with nothing by Emily autumn because that gives me serious jay and nadakhan vibes lol)

Im probably gonna edit this soon because I'm so tired and this is probably shit rn. Bear with me though the typos fam.

Harumi and Gene were originally arranged to be married, the former Emperor of Ninjago had wanted to release Master Chen thinking he was reformed. As a reward he swore a future daughter to Chens only son Gene in marriage to solidify the bond.

Gene was the one to discover the old contract when he gained his inheritance at 16,

He also inherited the entirety of the Chen Mafia an ailing group that had run the criminal enterprise under his former father's leadership. He decided to fully jump into the role of Head of the Family Mafia, restoring it with several years of hardwork and illegal activities.

Gene waited to reveal the marriage contract until they both were of Age. Harumi at first was not thrilled at all to learn of her adoptive fathers decisions.

Lloyd although encouraged her to step out, she was the first to ask for a proper arrangement and that she would require at least 3 dates before she would decide if she was going to accept this arrangement. This actually follows the Ninjago Royal Families Protocol to avoid unhappy marriages and thus wobbly bonds.

Ninjago itself was and still is abuzz about this powerhouse of a Duo, Harumi and Gene balance each other. Everyone could see it from the beginning.

Harumi and Gene only needed 2 dates before they realized how perfectly matched they were. She had walked in on him talking with a General on a shipment of Black Market goods, she instantly slipped back into her old role and assisted him even offering up the aid of her old group if he needed it.

As was again tradition, Harumi sent a letter to Gene saying she accepted the terms of Marriage set forth by their parents.

In my One Decision AU she talked with Morana her daughter before doing this. Even taking Morana to meet Gene

Gene found it humorous that Harumi had had a child with his former rival. But did not mind, he even invited her onto his lap to watch him work as the small child showed interest.

Gene's Nickname for Morana is Little Luna Moth or small demon child

As this was an order by the old Emperor it was the last thing done on record for the Royal Family in its History, the departure of the Jade Princess mimicked previous leaving of princesses of the Ninjago Royal Lineage in the past

Per the Emperor he had set aside close to 5 million in Funds, fabrics jewels and jewelry that had historically also belonged to Empresses and Princesses of long past. This was also Harumis Inheritance by Law so nobody could dispute it

Gene even sent his highest Mafia members to escort her from the Old Palace to the Family Home on the Island as again was traditional. To symbolize the Grooms families wishes and highest honors to have this woman added to their family.

The Chen Family is counted as one of the old Noble families of Ninjago. If Ninjago wanted to ever reestablish the Dynasty they technically could do so through this Line.

Ok, here is some story about this ship :)

Just let's imagine that Knighton is an island nearby to Ninjago. And here (in this AU) Macy and Harumi already know each other.

Macy think that Harumi is her best (girl) friend but Harumi wish to be more than friends.

Ok, now let's fast forward to the present (where Harumi wanted to return Lord Garmadon and ninja already know that she was a Quiet One).

Macy came to Ninjago to visit Rumi BUT she doesn't know what is happening here and Harumi didn't tell her about it (of course). But she confessed her love to Macy. (Hooray 👏)

After a few dates (which one you can see on the picture)... I think I'm done for now. Maybe I should write a book about them?

Ok, I saw encanto again some time ago and I came up with some ideas for the enjago au.

1.- I know that I have commented before that "casita" would be a monastery, but it occurred to me and if it were better at the beginning (before the candle goes out) the temple with fragile foundations? Just think about it the place is unstable and the problem comes from the roots of the family and the miracle, all its base was relatively fragile but at first sight it looked more than imposing and majestic, I think it would be a good metafora at the same time as the screams in the film. When they rebuild their home, it would no longer be that imposing temple, but the monastery a place not only to honor the miracle and live the elementals who care for ninjago, but a place of peace and learning, where they and the next generations can grow and reflect on who they are and their place in the family and the village, without losing themselves in the process.

2.-I realized that we have left echo a little forgotten, so it occurred to me that he might also know that morro is hidden in the walls and given the frequency with which he hurts it wouldn't be strange to see him with some of zane's food, so I could easily pass him food without calling attention.

3. - I like to think of zane as the oldest of the ninjas in this version (maybe 22 years old?), plus that at least in my head I could already be married (or at least committed) to pixal. So the initial song would look like this: "Two girls fell in love with family elemental

And now they're part of the family elemental

So, yeah, bro zane married Pixal and my dad married misako"

And tío wu became an sensei elemental (let's go, let's go)

4. - cole would be the next oldest, and this was one of wu's motivations for pressuring him to commit to nya. As for these two I guess it all started because they got along and spent time together, it was wu who started to see them asa couple and somehow got caught up in this false relationship without knowing how to get out.

5. - kai has unwittingly saved himself from being put into an arranged marriage. Wu has looked for someone to match kai with but has not found "the perfect match for the perfect boy oficial the family". Since garmadon, zane, nya and cole have stepped in whenever he thinks he has found "the perfect match ", finding a big no. Since everyone is perfectly aware of the feel of kai by skylor and viceversa. (when they were teenagers, cole and nya were about to lock them in a closet and not let them out until they confessed, if it wasn't for zane's intervention, though she later wondered if things wouldn't have been better if he had let them go with her plans)

I have more ideas but it's late, so I'll post them later.

6. Honestly what I think comes easiest would be understanding the character. Of course there are some exceptions to this (I cannot get into Cole’s head no matter how much I try but maybe that’s because we’re similar enough and I’ve just not let myself in. Thoughts for another time actually 🤔) but when I really want to write a character for the first time I take some time to focus on them and know how they would act and react. I also have extensive lore and backstory aspects that don’t always mean anything of value but add flavor to them when it might just fit the scene.

16. Oh there’s several but the one that’s been itching my mind lately are slow burn complex romances sometimes with or without arranged/forced marriage aspects. Other guilty pleasure tropes are angst, especially angst involving identity/sense of self and the grief process. If the fic doesn’t leave me screaming like that one cat emoji I use liberally on discord it’s still good but like I want to be in my feels with the character.

25. Yes! So many times!! Some of it is semi-plot relevant (for example in my kitchen sink au there’s a planned oneshot that’s just a family dinner. That’s it. It’s just that found family kind of fluff and fun. I want the overall happy energy for that BC it’s resolving a background internal conflict) and sometimes it’s literally an AU of the fic, I think the biggest au of a fic I have is with the Ninjago Next Gen fic. The two branches of it are Storm Front and Tidal Wave and tell different stories/characters have wildly different starting places. I should write some Tidal Wave actually. That one is fun to me.

33. I mean this is no secret but I’m terrible about staying motivated to write and do commend those who do. Some days I can bash out 5k in a few hours, other times it’s 10 words and that’s it. My brain is not always in create mode anymore.

34. Mmmm this one’s hard because I’m currently on my phone and can’t remember all the things I’ve written recently that I liked but this one is something I like

Hurt/No comfort: A. Pretty broad topic, but, if done right, I always love me some good angst 😈

That being said, I still prefer hurt with at least minimal comfort over none at all, but it’s still great and who needs to be happy anyway amirite?

Arranged marriage: C- probably. Pretty neutral, definitely not going to go out of my way to find it, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a fic and went “ooh boy, an arranged marriage, goodie” XD, but if the fic looks good, I’m not going to not read it because of that.

Secret identity angst: A++++ YES YES GIMMIE-

I absolutely love secret identities, they’re just so fun and spicy, and the fact that you add ANGST in there makes this 100x better.

Prolly why I’m so attracted to miraculous ladybug… although I would be lying if I said I hadn’t fantasized about a ninjago secret identities au, especially one in the movie!verse, which I very well may end up writing….

so I started writing a little fic that's tied to my ninjago royalty AU (the one with pixal and kai in an arranged marriage), and within like, two paragraphs, I accidentally gave myself so much lore. like I feel like I lore dumped myself when I didn't even know the lore beforehand. bizarre experience, highly recommend, and now I feel like I gotta give you this AU lore that I accidentally created

I've said that in this AU, there are four royal families. I LIED. there are five. the Jiangs, and Borgs, the Jades, the... (desperately searches notes) the [Vania's family] (does she not have a last name?!), and the Garmadons!

now, the reason why it's so important to add this last family to the royalty group is because I needed a reason for pixal and kai to be engaged. like, "political alliance" just feels so vague, right? so I needed to create some drama. and, like it came to me in a dream, this is what I blurted out.

there are rising tensions between the kingdoms- specifically between the Jades and the Garmadons. the other kingdoms know that the two families are somehow becoming involved in each other's business in a way that doesn't seem quite safe for anyone. they fear that there are only two possibilities for what's going on: 1) the two are going to form an alliance and turn on the rest of the kingdoms, or 2) the two are about to wage all out war on each other and maybe wreck the entire realm with their fighting.

I am so overcomplicating this, but I will continue to do so, because thinking about this is a sweet relief from the real world.

the Borgs and Jiangs are attempting to form a connection that will aid them in the potential upcoming war, by getting pixal and kai to be married

Vania's family is preparing for this hypothetical war as well, but... not in quite the same way. now, hear me out here. what if. what if shintaro creates a system of spies, and sends several spies to become insiders of the other kingdoms. so shintaro won't be caught unawares by the other kingdoms' weapons. and what if. what if cole is one of these spies, sent to keep an eye on the new pixal and kai marriage. would that be messed up or what

this also opens up some wonderful avenues for lloyd and harumi dynamics. perhaps they are star crossed lovers. or perhaps they are the reason the kingdoms suspect that the two nations are about to be in an all out war with each other. so many possibilities

Arranged Love with a Happy Ending (A Greencheeleader Omegaverse AU fanfic)

Ok so before we start I wanted to clear some things up. Yes, you read that correctly. This is a Omegaverse fanfic for the Lego Ninjago Movie and yes I know this is frowned upon by some but I have had this really good idea for an Omegaverse Greencheerleader fanfiction for quite some time and I apologize if this offends or upsets some people. It is not my intention to offend or upset people. I like writing because it heals me. I do not write to upset people nor hurt them. I want my writing to bring joy to people. Now that it is out of the way I shall put the fic under a read more so people don't have to scroll through it.

Garmadon...my dad is an old-fashioned dad when it comes to omegas. You know that omegas should have long girly hair and wear more feminine clothes. and all that stuff. I mean it is still common so I guess he isn’t that traditional. Of the ninja, I was the only omega. Cole and Jay were betas...Nya and Kai were alphas and Zane...well he doesn’t count since he is an android. But they all have supported me since I revealed myself as the Green Ninja and my newfound fame and me as an omega.

“Hey, Lloyd got any plans after school? I and the others were thinking to go to that new sushi place everyone keeps talking about on Snapchat” Jay asked as he held up his phone in front of my face. Lo and behold there was a picture from one of Jay’s many Snapchat friends of the new sushi joint. I sighed as I fiddled with my hair.

“I....I can’t I m sorry Jay” I replied. Kai groaned in frustration.

“Dude this is the third time this week you’ve canceled on us. What gives?” he said looking at me.

“...well you know my dad..he...uh..he has arranged an alpha for me. Mom tried to talk him out of it but you know him. The Great Garmadon wouldn’t listen to rhyme or reason” I said. The others looked at me like I had said the most offensive thing in the history of Earth.

“Dude h-he can't do that. There must be a law against it....isn’t there..." Nya said the last bit she trailed off into a murmur. Her expression said it all. She was terrified for my well being. Omegas who got married off usually got married off to old wrinkly guys that want nothing more than to pass their genes before they die.I fidgeted with my hair some more.

“Unfortunately there isn’t.....but I’ll be fine guys...really I will,” I said trying to reassure my friends. They looked at me with sad looks on their faces.

“Do you know who it is at least?”  Zane asked. I shook my head. “Well let us hope it isn’t some creepy old guy like most omegas end up with in  arranged marriage” Cole said. I swallowed what little saliva I had in my mouth when Cole said that.

Later that day I come home to see Chen’s parents. Chen sits on the chair looking awkwardly down at his lap as if he has been ordered to not speak if not spoken too.

“Ah Luh-Loyd just in time....we were waiting for you,” Dad said with a smile. I sighed as I joined him at the table. "Dad, why are Chen and his parents here?” I asked. 

“Well, Luh-Loyd Chen is the alpha I have arranged for you” dad replied, his smile growing impossibly bigger. Wait what??? I am forced to have this guy as my alpha are you kidding me?!?!?!? No way.

“Dad are you nuts he used to ridicule me...berate me...he even wrote a song mocking me,” I said trying to reason with dad. Mom looked at me. I knew she wanted to help but she couldn't. Dad dragged me off to my room to talk to me in private.

“Why are you being like this. He is a perfect alpha and I am sure he will make me and your mother beautiful grandkids" he said in a hushed whisper. I yanked my hand away from him and glared. I wanted to tell him how I felt but I couldn’t. I let out a shaky sigh.

“That’s my boy. Now let’s go back to them your mother and I are going out to talk about the wedding with Chen’s parents. Give you guys some time to bond and become alpha and omega” dad said. I could only nod as our parents got ready. Once they left I was alone with Chen. We exchanged awkward glances before I spoke up.

“I know you only like me now because I am the Green Ninja and I freaking hate my dad for and your parents for doing this to us” I said.

“That’s not true....I-I’ve always had a crush on you...but people ridiculed me for it because you were the son of Garmadon. I am sorry and I totally get it if you hate me now....I should’ve been more honest with my feelings from the beginning than resort to some petty bullying. Can you ever forgive me?” Chen said. 

I looked at him. Was he serious? I looked at him for any signs of ridicule but found none.

"I...I forgive you Chen.....I am not the one to hold grudges....mom always said to give people another chance” I said.

 Chen leaned in and pressed his lips against mine. I froze up where I sat before slowly kissing back. Letting Chen’s hand rest on my thigh.  We pulled away and looked eachother in the eye. 

"Lloyd Garmadon...please let me be your alpha...please let me show the world that you are mine and only mine” Chen whispered in my ear.

I nodded and bared my neck for him to place the bond bite mark. Chen leant in and bit down. When he was done he pulled away and smiled. Perhaps...an arranged marriage wasn’t so bad when it is with the right person. We spent the rest of the night talking, getting to know eachother. That was the night I fell in love with  Chen.

A few months later and it was time for us to get wed. Wow I’d never thought I’d live to see the day. Me, The Green Ninja, leader of the Secret Ninja Force is going to be married to the love of his life as corny and cheesy as it sounds.Nya entered the dressing room, dressed in a black dress with blue sequin stripes. I fiddled with the dress that my dad had insisted I should wear.

"Are you ready?” Nya asked. Now Nya and the others took their time to accept that Chen was my alpha but they were supportive nontheless.I nodded as I heard the music start. I grabbed the bouqet of flowers and left the dtressing room. My life was going to change for the better and I had my dad to thank for that.

Epilouge: 11 years later

11 years had passed and Chen and I were as happy we could ever be. We even had a daughter named Jaycee who had picked up Chen’s intrest for cheerleading. Oh nad a 11 month son named Jayson.  Kia and the others came to visit when they could. Jaycee had invited some of her friends over to show Chen nad I a new cheer routine they have been practising.

“This is for my mama and papa for being super awesome. Ok 1 2 3. D-A-D he is rad and that’s not bad. P-A-P-A he is the Green Ninja and that’s also rad and not bad Go dad and papa! Go dad and papa" Jaycee had finished with a pose.

"Good Jaycee we’re very proud of you” I said clapping my hands. “Yeah at this rate you’ll be sure to win cheerleading national when you get older” Chen siad wrapping his around me.  I chuckled as I kissed Chen’s cheek before heading to the nursery to check on our son Jayson. He was sound asleep before I entered. His green eyes looked back at me as I picked him up.

"Are you hungry?” I cooed at him as I  prepared a bottle of milk. Jayson whimpered as I started feeding him. I smiled at him. These were the best moments of my life and I wouldn’t want to change it for anything in the world.
