Because she gave a voice to women who might be seen as nothing more than monsters and showed how important it is to understand everything that’s going on in a situation, not just go, do, be. That sometimes the villains we see aren’t the truly villainous, but heroes who are being forced into another path by truly despicable people. That sometimes monsters are more human than humans are. Also the scene with the babies when we found out what was heartbreaking and adorable at the same time, and I got really wrapped up in her story.

Honorary Mention goes to Tinfoil Kevin because he keeps being more than what he appears and we expect that but he’s never quite what I expect.

I will never forgive The Boys because I fully believe that show STOLE the dark superhero satire place on Amazon Prime that rightfully belonged to The Tick. Arthur is the screwed up little grungly no one asked for or deserved and he was taken away, along with the indestructible, always upbeat himbo the Tick, Arthur's kickass paramedic sister Dot, the ex-Robin/Dick Grayson equivalent Overkill and his sentient home Dangerboat, the magnificent Lobstercules and the ever-sparking, absolutely unhinged crime boss of The City, Miss Lint.

And in case you were wondering, yes, Arthur is small, pale, and wears big ol' glasses. Sue me, I guess.
