DIALECTICS

Examine verbal landscapes. Get to the truth of the matter.

Cool for: Logicians, Philosophers, Asshole Devil’s Advocates

Dialetics urges you to look beyond the basics of conversation. It encourages you to discuss theories, truths and falsehoods, until you exhaust everyone around you with your sheer affinity for taking the most convoluted routes to your deductions—but, hey, it works! Those people are only *really* annoyed because you very accurately psychoanalyzed them.

At high levels, Dialectics will help you reason with even the most convoluted of situations. You will be an unstoppable detective, who may occasionally suffer from some unintended side effects such as: your brain and mouth moving too fast, overcomplicating little things, becoming an insufferable jerk, and joining your local debate team. With low levels of Dialectics, you’re going to have a difficult time seeing through both worldly and interpersonal deceptions. You may find yourself being taken advantage of. 

EVOCATION

Recall emotions and imagery. Paint complete pictures of the past. 

Cool for: Visualizers, Chronic Observers, Witnesses Of Crimes

Evocation allows you to call forth memories that may otherwise be lost in the recesses of your mind. Previous instances of sound, touch, taste, feeling, sight—all of these are at your beck and call: able to be summoned within and around you in a great miasma of experience. You will be able to relive important events, even those that were only mere seconds, and examine them closer to reveal what you couldn’t comprehend in the moment. 

At high levels, Evocation will help you reimagine scenes that may have happened years ago, lasted the length of a blink—or, perhaps, even allow you to picture memories that you were not present for. You will find yourself constantly transported to the past: a single whiff of a familiar perfume enough to completely derail your senses. With low levels of Evocation, you’re going to have a hard time remembering simple conversations and potentially important visual details. You will have to rely on others in such scenarios. 

BODY OF LAWS

Know your rights. Remember fun courtroom trivia. 

Cool for: Lawyers, Law-Evaders, Stick-In-The-Muds

Body Of Laws is responsible for your ability to follow the law at any given time—or don’t! Just because you know the rules doesn’t mean you have to play by them. Regardless, it certainly allows you to recall a, frankly, embarrassing amount of your government’s regulations, and may encourage you to ‘stay in your lane’, so to speak, regarding them. Governments aren’t the only entities that enact rules, though: you will also find yourself privy to understanding unspoken boundaries set by people, nature, and even your subconscious self.

At high levels, Body Of Laws will either make you an *extremely* insufferable goody-two-shoes, or a *wildly* effective cheat-of-the-system. You may end up feeling suffocated by all these restrictions you can so clearly see, causing you to become complicit with the movings of the machine—or potentially apathetic to why we need some of these restrictions in the first place. With low levels of Body Of Laws, you may find yourself accidentally violating boundaries you didn’t know existed—whether they be legal, personal, or cultural.

remember that this is always a slow time for the rpc. as we get deeper into the holiday season, remember that people are finishing classes and taking big tests. they're slammed at work or taking on extra jobs to pay the bills. people are stressed about money or family, figuring out flights or trips, dreading the colder weather, struggling to put food on the table. some people are experiencing more dark outside than light, which might mess their schedule up a bit. some deal with seasonal depression during these months.

when your dash is slower and quieter this time of year, and when less people are liking your posts or sending memes, it doesn't mean the community is dying or we're all headed for the end times. i understand that less interactions or less support might be discouraging, especially when some of us are already dealing with the doom and gloom of darker, colder months and the stress of the holiday season... but please don't turn around and scold people for their inactivity or their lack of enthusiasm. don't get fatalistic about the fate of this community and declare it prematurely dead. this period of time always happens every year. now is not the time for unfair expectations. now is the time for kindness, generosity, understanding, encouragement, and love. now is the time for "take your time with replies," and "talk to me if you need anything. i'm here for you."

This literally could not be any simpler. Mega Mack is a chemical. The level is called Chemical Plant. The Egg Poison boss ("Water Eggman" in Japanese) drops this chemical on Sonic with the specific purpose of killing him, thus classifying it as a chemical weapon.

My first take on the cutie mark swaps from Magical Mystery Cure because that shit fr made no sense. It’s heavily implied if not outright stated that the mane 6 had been living with their swapped cutie marks for their whole lives, so they wouldn’t be downright horrendous at what they do. Not to mention the show completely misinterpreting what the marks of certain characters represent, like Rainbow Dash as a prime example. Rarity is obsessed with weather patterns, yes showing her original personality with the new mark, but that’s not at all what Rainbow’s mark represents. Rainbow Dash earned her cutie mark by protecting Fluttershy’s honor and showing her competitive spirit by performing the Sonic Rainboom. So Rarity being her usual self but fucking with the weather patterns made zero sense. So…

Meet Prism. She uses her magic to move clouds, sure, but that’s not the only thing she does. She’s competitive in everything she does and is arguably more vain than she was originally. She’s a harder worker and not afraid to get dirty (though there’s a part of her that internally cringes every time she gets mud everywhere). But for some reason, she’s inexplicably drawn to the Carousel Boutique, unable to stop herself from admiring Applejack’s (new name to be revealed later) works even though every time she’s caught she claims she “doesn’t care about all that fashion stuff”.

It’s a good point you make about Joe and if we had known about him in 2016. Because the same people yelling about mental breakdown now are ones that were all in on their relationship. But would they have felt the same if we’d found out about it in Sept or October 2016? That she was already all in on things with him straight off her Tom rebound coming immediately on the heels of her split after 15 months with CH? And not to mention this was all in the midst of snapgate and all the hate when she was struggling professionally too and oh yeah, far less mature and prepared to deal with all of that! Would they be saying she can’t possibly be happy? She’s having a mental breakdown? Probably. And yet that wasn’t the truth where her personal life was concerned. So why is it that 7 years later when she’s so much more mature and equipped to deal with the shit that comes with life and she’s not facing professional struggles but instead is on a major high, why now are we suppose to assume that she’s lying just because she’s moved on quicker than some expected (but no quicker than her previous patterns)? She and Matty could end tomorrow or last for years for all any of us know. The point is she’s with him now and happy about it. Just because fans don’t like that choice doesn’t make her unwell. And it’s really disgusting to boldly and publicly be stating she is like it’s a hard fact and not speculation that crosses a major line.

How did Security Monty/Diego’s safety protocols get deactivated? Did just decide one day “Yup, ima be a dick now.” Or what?? 😰

For the people who don't want to wait and see, and or want an in depth explanation-

More or less yes kind of lmao

Tldr; hyper advanced AI came to the conclusion 2/3's of people are bad. Meaning they serve no purpose and can be culled

Diego is activated fully for 2 weeks. In those 2 weeks, he's away from Dawn a lot. Dawn was his only human contact, a fact she had tried to fight against for this very reason. Now he's in contact with two greasy men almost full time, and he hates them. They treat him like they do the other animatronics. While the others are sentient, they cannot grow and change in the way Diego can. Freddy will always be Freddy. Diego is not Security Monty. Diego grew from SM and made his own person. Not that the higher ups know though. Though he's far more logic driven due to his AI nature

So as he learns from these men, he comes to conclusion, "well I know three people, only one is good to me. That tells me only one third of people will be worth my time." which starts his mental list of what's worth while in a person. And what's not. Dawn takes note and tries to plead for the higher ups to shackle SM. They will not. If he's shackled, he's unable to make proper judgment calls. They need him to make split second judgment calls on people and recognize the mimic

Then the guys he's with stupidly take some swings at him. Throwing shit at him and generally just being assholes. Nothing terrible, but to someone sheltered like Diego...He has no real training for this. So he reacts in the only thing he does have real training for. Violence. Deactivating his safety protocols because he's able to just. Overwrite his own code.

In that moment he comes to the conclusion "Two thirds of people are not worth having around. I am doing a favor to the world." He does not see issue with killing "bad" people. Because he defines what fills in for bad

He tries to go to Dawn to show his learning. He's so ready to make her proud. And well. There's a reason when he's reactivated, he has a thing against his face being touched, hates screwdrivers anywhere near his head. And Dawn why has a robotic hand.

I am a person who loves the beginning of HC seasons because of the intermingling and I’ve experienced like, 4 seasons ending now? And HC9 ending still affected me more than any other season ending. Like logically I knew it was going to end and logically I knew now would be the best time and logically I knew they would have to announce it sometime, but it still blew me out of the water for some reason 🤡 I thought we were going to get more Decked Out but I guess it wasn’t enough to expand it past the holiday season.

Or maybe it’s how Ren shouldn’t make announcements on behalf of the server again in the most dramatic way because he scared his chat to death before he announced “Season Ten was coming to an end” and we were like ????!?!?!? until Impulse stepped up and gave us an actual rundown.

I still promise that I haven't gone anywhere, life just remains hectic. I'd found some solid footing, routine and peace before November hit (moving countries and then also settling into life that got flipped 180 degrees is something else), and then everything decided to act up again. I am here, I promise, and I will be around more as I slowly succeed at finding calm again, but it's taking longer than anticipated. All in all: I hate adulting so much.

P.S.: Have you ever desperately wanted a specific 4 star from a banner, and for 50+ wishes, it gives you the other 2 featured ones, and then one that isn't even on the damn banner, and a 4 star weapon too, and just no Kuki Shinobu? Kill me, Genshin.
