Before One Piece, before my Good Omens and Disney One Shots, I wrote Collided. It was dreadful, I wrote like 1k a day and posted it, and somehow it did really well; but I abandoned it because I was like 19 and doing a million pieces of Uni work.
And then I rewrote that little bitch.
This is that little bitch.
It probably needs a rewrite again but I think this power-metal-induced fever dream of a fic was where a) my love of writing began and b) my style of writing began. Because I wanted to write an arranged-marriage-to-Thor fic where the protagonist falls in love with Loki instead, and instead of picking a Fair Asgardian Maiden (tm) I thought, 'nah, Niflheim is uninhabited, let's inhabit it!' and so the Nifl's were born. And I thought, 'They need a religion' so the Ancestors were born, and then the Bjornlings were born, and I totally stole the forsaken army from Dragonage (sorry not sorry, we'll call it an easter egg that no-one's got yet).
So, if you want to read a story about a horned, fierce dragon-woman falling in love with Loki that most likely desperately needs another rewrite - the sequel of which is in very slow progress - check it out.

Her skin had paled a bit as she got closer. She saw the man she has loved sitting on the cell floor.
The click of her heels caught the short haired mans attention.
“My dear..~” He jumped up and head across towards her. His palm hit the glass as she stared up at him.
Her green eyes glowed with rage as she spoke. It was so eerie as she spoke, it sent a chill down the god’s spine.
“How dare you. `My dear~` Are you joking right now?! You really think after a year..After a year I thought you died! Leaving me with three children! All! Alone!”
The aircraft shook a bit as she opened the cell, she ran in and kicked him in the chest sending him to the other side of the holding cell.
“Wait..Mari my dear…I..I..” He tried to talk a bit as he saw her coming at him. Feeling her boot stomp into his chest a bit, causing him to stare in terror. He caused this. He caused the once lovely witch before him to break. All cause he was selfish.
THATS IT THATS ALL IMA GIVE ILL DECIED TO OUT MORE OUT BUT IDK AAA🙃

Ghost. I suggest listening to Creep by Rediohead (or Kelly Clarkson's cover)
PAIRING: TVA!LokixOC
RATING: ALL
SUMMARY: Loki meets sombody at the TVA he once knew. Unfortunately she doesn't seem to remember him.
Part 2 here
When he saw her one day, wandering through the shelves of the TVA library, he thought she was a ghost. Loki would have sworn it was her but not exactly her. There was something different; her hair, for example, was brown, not red, and she was much more smiling than he remembered. Loki initially had doubts about whether it was her, but then he spent days observing her—watching how she furrowed her brows when concentrating on reading a file, how she leaned against the railing to gaze at the city suspended in time, how she always chose apple pie in the cafeteria. Every day was a stab to his heart until he decided to approach her.
"Miss Princhett," Loki approached the cafeteria table carrying a cup of tea for himself and a cup of coffee. "May I join you?" he offered her the cup.
Lydia Princhett. Shield agent. She had red hair and a stern face. Died in 2012.
"Of course, even though I don't think we've ever been introduced," she grabbed the cup, giving him a slight smile. Loki tightened his lips.
Lydia Princhett. Consultant at the TVA. She had brown hair and a relaxed expression.
"I'm Loki, from Asgard."
"I know," she brought the cup to her lips, and for a moment, Loki was filled with hope. "Everyone knows about the new consultant with Mobius," she laughed almost mockingly. "I'm a consultant too. I was supposed to be disposed of, but in my timeline I was a bounty hunter, and they thought I could be useful," she shrugged.
Loki knew. That's why he’d kept her. No one knew better than her how to find someone and, conversely, how to hide them.
"And are you? Useful?"
"I sincerely hope so, otherwise, I don't think they'll wait long before getting rid of me," she chuckled lightly.
Loki remembered the first time he heard her laugh. He had tried to make a toast and burnt himself. Her laughter sounded like a bell, and the burn was absolutely worth it.
But none of that had ever happened for her.
That Lydia had never fought against him, lost, and spat at his feet, telling him how he would never be feared and respected like Odin.
She had never tended to his wounds after a fight, even under coercion.
She had never looked at him with pity when she realized that, in turn, Loki was under someone else's influence.
She had never agreed to hear his story and had never told hers.
"What was your Nexus event?" Loki didn't think before speaking; it just came out.
"Don't you think that's too personal a question?" Lydia raised an eyebrow but decided to answer anyway. "I decided not to go to work one day; I had absurd cramps," she leaned closer, whispering and eliciting a light laugh from both of them. "I didn't think the world would change much just by not going to work for one day."
Loki tilted his head. "When was it?"
Lydia shrugged. "I don't know exactly how long ago, time is a mess here, but it was in 2012."
Loki nodded, lips pressed into a line.
That Lydia had never known him, and she had never been a causality during the New York attack.
There was a moment of silence in which she observed him, and Loki felt tiny under her gaze. It seemed like she was analyzing his soul, exposing every secret.
"Do you know me, Loki of Asgard?" Lydia tilted her head, offering a smile.
He looked at her for a second. "No."
"But did you know me?"
Loki didn't answer, lowering his gaze.
Lydia finished her coffee, placing the cup on the table and sighed before standing up. "Well, thanks for the coffee; it was delightful," she gave him a forced smile and began walking towards the exit. Loki opened his mouth, but nothing came out.
Lydia stopped after a few steps.
"For what it's worth," she turned to him, "I'd like to get to know you, Loki of Asgard."
Loki gave her a slight smile, the saddest he had ever made, and with a nod, he bid farewell to her ghost before finishing his tea and returning to work.

Their First Yule
Pairing: LokixOC
Rating: G: Pure fluff
The Avengers Compound was getting ready for Christmas. Tony Stark never disappointed when it came to throwing parties. Christmas music was playing from a stereo sitting on a table. Natasha was making a popcorn string when Clint came walking into the living room with the lights.
The smell of baking cookies wafted through the air. Azura Stark, Tony's daughter, was in the kitchen on a baking spree. Thor tried to get one of the cookies that was cooling on a rack and she smacks the back of his hand with a wooden spoon.
"They're still hot." She said and he walked away. Steve was putting ornaments on the tree as Loki walked into the living room. Clint had the lights up by the time Loki sat down at the island. She handed him a cup of cocoa and a present shaped cookie iced in his green and gold.
"Thank you." He said and carefully sipped the hot cocoa. He ate the cookie and watched as she started icing the other cookies her tongue sticking out of the corner of her mouth as she concentrated. He couldn't help but smile thinking of how cute it made it her look. Once the icing was dry, she placed the cookies on a huge platter. There were snowmen, presents, Christmas bells, holly, and Santas.
"No Reindeer?" Clint asked jokingly
"Those are on the other platter with the fudge." She said and brought the other platter.
"I know you're waiting for some kind of speech but Happy Holidays." Tony said
"Happy Holidays!" The others said in return. The leftover cookies were placed in containers after everyone had their fill of Christmas treats. The others headed out to spend Christmas on their own except for Tony and Bruce.
"We're out." Azura said and she was putting on her coat, even though the cold never bothered her, and Loki was standing up.
"Have fun you two." Tony said and they headed out. They walked down the street and saw the lights that were hung around the city. In her coat pocket was a gift that she was going to give to him when they were alone. They stopped at a cocoa stand and she bought two cups.
They walked down the trail that was decorated for the holidays and she stopped at the gazebo. He watched the snowflakes fall and she got the gift out of her pocket.
"Loki?" She called
"Yes?" He asked
"Merry Yule." She said and handed him the box. He took it carefully from her and he opened it. Inside the box was black crushed velvet but in the velvet was a ring made out black tungsten with an emerald green dragon entwined with a topaz gold dragon engraved.
"Thank you. Merry Yule." He said and put the ring on his finger. He handed her a box and she opened it to see a necklace similar to his ring but it was a snake wrapped around a crescent moon.
She kissed his cheek and they headed back to the Compound.

Fan Fic Updates
This one's for my night owls- but holy crap, guys.
Reckoning News I'm writing the last two chapters of Reckoning as we speak, meaning that it's gone from 12 prospective chapters to only 8. Chapter 8 is an epilogue and will be fairly short, but chapter 7 is much longer... and smuttier.
In the Land of Gods and Monsters (aka logam) News I'm working on the next chapter and it's very nearly done. After this, I have 3-4 consecutive chapters that were written years ago, so I'll need to edit my way through them until I'm satisfied. With that said, I'm determined to finish logam this year, so there's that. It's been a long time coming.
New Fic Announcement: These Little Broken Things (aka tlbt) I have been writing this LokixOC fic since 2018 and it will be fairly short. I won't be publishing any of it until I finish writing, which means that it will have a consistent posting schedule. I'm hoping to start on October 15. More to follow.
In the meantime, I commissioned this piece based on a scene from tlbt 3 years ago (holy crap). The artist is Romina Jones (AN ACTUAL MARVEL COVER ARTIST? holy shit am I deranged jfc) and I just adore it so much.

Around the Realms in 80 days chapter 6
Pairing: Reader x Loki
Story summary: You have fallen through a portal during the convergence into Asgard and come face to face with Thor, and his brother Loki. With no way to return, you must travel with the two men and their hoard of asgardian soldiers to get back home. Things get from bad to worse when you have to share a tent with the god of mischief himself.
Notes: Sorry this one took me a little while longer, please bear with me over the next few weeks! I feel like this chapter is a bit shorter too, but let me know what you think!
warnings: some violence but nothing graphic

You smirked. You knew you should be more upset about the whole tolls in the village thing but first and foremost you couldn’t help but want to giggle.
Trolls in the dungeon.
A few things happened at once when the servant had come into the room, Loki and Thor had both stood up, and Thor started to wield his hammer. The rest of the party had also started to prepare themselves for battle, and some of Yrsa’s house staff started to talk anxiously between themselves. You were starting to feel a bit anxious yourself, but you decided the best place to be during a toll attack was with Thor and Loki, you had seen some of the footage from New York after all.
Another servant came in, but this time instead of screeching she whispered into Yrsa’s ear. Yrsa nodded and cleared her throat before announcing,
“They are here, they are inside the castle.”
The anxious voices increased, and the young servant from before looked like he might pass out.
Thor looked at Loki and nodded at him, as if willing him to speak.
“Do not worry. it is not the first time we have come across trolls before and we will endeavour to defeat them” Loki stated, addressing the room.
We were back to Loki’s princely behaviour that you found so interesting. You guessed if he was going to make a good impression and win their favour of him being king one day, he had to do the leading rather than Thor.
“Latte” Thor inclined his head, asking you to come and speak with him.
You followed him over to where he was stood.
“It’s best you stay out of the way. Trolls are not exactly an adept and terrifying threat, but they are big and stupid and would not hesitate to hurt you. Perhaps wait in your bedroom until this is finished with, I’ll get Loki to transport you.”
“You’ll get Loki to do what?”
“Brother, can you transport Latte to her chambers until we deal with the tolls?”
For the second time that day, Loki told a hold of the top of your arm. This was becoming kind of a thing and you weren’t overly keen on it. This time, it was arguably worse than pushing you against a wall because you suddenly heard a loud whooshing noise and then your head started to spin as if you’d had a bottle and a half of wine. You felt your feet being ripped from the ground and just as you had opened your mouth to scream, it was over and you had landed in your room.
You clutched your head,
“That was awful, holy shit, never do that again.”
Loki chuckled at you.
“Stay here until we have dealt with the trolls.”
“No fear, I have no wish to meet a troll”
You bit your tongue to stop yourself adding “You’re enough of a troll as it is.” You are still pretty upset at his words, referring to you as dull and uninteresting. You weren’t sure why you were so upset, this was the man who tried to bring your world under subjugation so you knew he had a low opinion of mortals after all.
“I’m not sure how they got into the castle” Loki frowned, “you better take this.”
To your surprise, Loki conjured up a small round crystal. It was black, with green threads running through it. You opened your palm automatically and he dropped it in the centre. It felt smooth and warm in your hand.
You were dumbfounded.
“What’s this?”
“It’s a stone.” He smirked irritatingly.
You shot him a look but before you had time to speak he put his hand in front of your mouth. AGAIN.
“Ah ah ah, let me stop you before you say something you will live to regret. I am the future King after all and I will not have you speak to me without reverence.”
You started at him until he brought his hand down.
“Whats is it for, your highness” you added with spite at the end.
He narrowed his eyes “Careful mortal.”
You waited until he decided to stop being a dick and talk you normally.
“It’s a stone” He said again and you swore you were about to kill him. ‘Which, when held and by the possessor will result in aid.”
Aid? The whiplash from Loki acting okay one second and then awful the next was giving you a headache. A part of you was kind of wishing he would just stay as being mean to you at least that made things easier to comprehend.
“Why?”
Loki raised his brow “Why what?”
“Why are you giving me this?”
He rolled his eyes, “are you so dim that you have already forgotten our earlier conversation? I warned you did I not mortal that Asgard is dangerous for a mortal.”
“Didn’t think id be worth saving given I’m a dull creature with no interesting or intelligent qualities.” You muttered.
You didn’t mean to say that honestly, it had been a weird day and you wished you could take back what you had said immediately, you didn’t want him to know his words had affected you.
Of course he picked up on it immediately.
“I didn’t know you listened so intently to me mortal” Loki snickered “Still my brother would be agitated if you died.”
God he was such an arse.
You clenched your jaw and threw the stone away from you and on the bed.
You waited for him to leave and he continued to stare at you.
“Anything else your Highness?” You sighed.
“Oh come on girl, even you should realise that being uninteresting would be advantageous during your time here.”
You said nothing.
Loki’s face darkened as he stepped towards you.
“You know mortal, I can act the villain you so believe me to be.”
You rolled your eyes “You are already the villain.”
His eyes narrowed,
“You are just like the rest of your pathetic race, completely unaware of what is good for you and so quick to assume the worst.”
“Assume the worst? What? About you? Did you or did you not murder like..” You stoped for a second mid rant you weren’t exactly sure how many people Loki had murdered in New York.
“Like a bunch of people in New York.”
“You know nothing of me and my past. You are so blind to your ignorance just like the rest of the mortals that I doubt you would understand the nuances between good and evil” He spat.
“I understand the nuances between killing people and not killing people.” You retorted.
Loki’s eyes were icy and angry, you swore you could see them flash red. You took a step back feeling alarmed.
You felt a hand on your shoulder behind you and screamed. You tried to turn your head, but an arm wrapped around your neck, and you felt a pressure on your windpipe.
“Oh? Tell me. What are the nuances between killing people and not killing people?” A voice hissed low in your ear, and you felt your hair move from the draft.
You froze. You tried to kick backwards, futilely trying to escape his grip. He responded by tightening his grip and it was starting to hurt. You stoped struggling to concentrate on breathing.
“Ah, there now” He cooed softly. “Is this better? Both of us playing our parts; I a villainous God and you the lowly subservient subject.”
You made a choking noise.
“Hmm” He whispered and you shivered, as you felt the cool tip of a dagger being brought down the side of your face and the feeling of dread grew in your stomach.
“Get…get off me. You can’t kill me, Thor will - ” You said weakly.
“Thor will do nothing. He already abdicated the throne after all, it was always going to be mine, and in face of these greater plans you are irrelevant and unimportant.”
You swallowed thickly, this man could squash you in one and didn’t seem to be considering letting you go anytime soon.
“Tell me mortal, is this not how you want me to be? To be your villain?”
God he was really going to kill you just to prove a point.
“Please.”
“Please what?”
“Please let me go. I get it, you’ve been acting extremely graciously towards me since I’ve been here and I’m thankful.” You spat
“Hm, I don’t think you do get it.” He gripped you tighter for a second and you chocked, winded, but then he let you go.
You leapt away from him, rubbing your neck.
There was a shout from outside and Loki sighed, as if he was disappointed,
“You could never understand, for you are so small minded you will only ever perceive what you want to perceive.” and with that scathing remark he teleported himself away.
You sat down onto your bed, you had really pissed him off this time. Even when he had been shooting comments at you which had aimed to scare you, you had never actually been properly scared until then. You rubbed your neck again, where his arm had been digging in. For a God and future king and all that he sure was sensitive.
You laid back down and waited. You weren’t sure how long exactly to wait for, but you hoped Thor would remember you existed and come get you.
After a while, you started to hear something from outside. You stilled and listened as intently as you could. The noise was getting closer and closer, it sounded like a drum. As it got closer, the drumming sound was accompanied by some grunting and heavy breathing.
You felt your heart beat fast in your chest and your palms grow sweaty. You stood from the bed as quietly as you could, and rolled down the side of the bed so if someone came into the room you were hidden from the door.
The drumming noise stopped just outside your room and you held your breath, conscious to make no noise at all.
There was a few moments where nothing happened.
And then, there was a horrible bang on your door. Someone or something was trying to get in like Johnny from the Shining. There was the awful sound of something ripping the door open, and splinters of wood shattered throughout the room.
You screamed as a giant grotesque troll barged its way into your room. It was 8ft at least, with an ugly green face. It looked down and spotted you, grinning wildly and showing you its three, crooked rotten black teeth.
You opened your mouth but no noise came out. The troll was carrying a large metal bat with a spike at the end, and he swung it hard and menacingly, knocking down the wall in between your room and the corridor. You were frozen in your spot. This was the second time you had been attacked today in the space of less hours.
The troll swung his weapon again, breaking the bed in front of you and stepping towards you. It smelt awful, like rotten eggs and you gagged as it got closer from the stench.
You managed to move, and you backed up against the wall behind you.
Come on, think. But your brain had seemingly stopped working and you couldn’t see a single way out of this. You voice had chocked up, and you couldn’t scream to ask for help.
You could not believe this is was how you were going to die and you shut your eyes and squeezed tight.
The troll took another large, loud step forward continuing to demolish your bedroom, and you felt something hit your foot. Looking down you spotted the stone that Loki had given you.
Without wasting another second you dived for it, just as the troll dived for you. The troll grabbed you roughly by your dress and heaved you up until you were face to face with it. The stench was worse up close, and you could smell its breath on your face.
You tightened your grip on the stone, realising that the idiot Loki hadn’t actually told you how to summon help using the stone other than holding it. Did you need to say some magic words?
“Help” you whispered out loud while holding the stone.
The troll flipped you upside down and held you up high, until you were now facing his chest. The troll shook you hard, and the blood was rushing to your head painfully. He shook you again and you dropped the stone from your grip. You watched it fall onto the floor beneath you and roll under a bit of debris from the bed.
The troll swung you to the right, three times. Each time swinging you higher and then he let go. You braced yourself, expecting to feel the hard wall as you smashed into it but it never came.
Instead, you felt arms around you, wrapping around your middle and then you crashed into the ground. The last thing you remembered before you blacked out was an arm glad in green and silver armour curling under your head to soften the impact.
***
Your heard hurt. Your muscles ached. You felt heavy and sore.
Where you hungover? You didn’t think so but you weren’t sure. You couldn’t remember what you had done to warrant this feeling.
You could hear something in the distance. It sounded like voices.
How strange to hear voices in your bedroom. You wished they would leave you alone. Your head was throbbing.
You started to come round slowly and the voices started to become clearer. The voices were slightly raised and you could tell they were arguing about something.
You opened your eyes slowly, trying to piece together what was happening.
You were back in bed in Loki’s tent. It was cold, and you realised you could feel a draft coming from the open panels in the tent. You tried to sit up, but your head felt too big and heavy to move, so you settled for listening in to the conversation happening outside the tent.
“How are we supposed to believe you had nothing to do with this?”
“How dare you accuse us of treason?” An older lady’s voice spoke.
“Well the trolls got into the castle somehow, and they are far too stupid to do it on their own. Are you suggesting it was a coincidence that the trolls knew exactly where to look to find our bed chambers?”
“And are you suggesting my prince, that I and my daughters would purposefully put our towns folk in danger? Purposefully damage our home?”
“Besides, given your track record, Prince Loki, with letting beings into castle -“ A different voice spoke.
“Ylva!” The older lady spoke again, sharply.
“Look, tensions are high for all of us.” The voice you recognised as Thor’s placated, “It has been a difficult day and my men are currently helping the people to repair damages. I am sorry about your home Lady Audhild, we will do whatever we can to help.”
“Thank you, your highness. Our east wing has been completely damaged and will take time to repair however.”
“Indeed. We thank you for the hospitality you have already shown us, and we have provisions to camp outside during our stay here.”
“Rest my princes, until tonight.” You heard Yrsa’s voice speak.
After a few moments, Thor and Loki entered the tent and noticed you were awake.
“Ah, my lady, you are with us” Thor smiled down at you.
“Well I think so.”
“The mortal lives.” Loki commented.
“How are you feeling” Thor sat on the bed at your feet.
‘Bleh.” You mumbled “head hurts.”
Thor looked at you sympathetically,
“This is no surprise, you took quite a tumble.”
“So what happened then with the trolls?” You asked trying to sit up again and failing.
Thor and Loki looked at each other seriously.
“Well, there was more trolls than we expected, trolls aren’t exactly creatures who travel in packs, they are far too dim to work or live together without killing each other so it was…strange to see so many together infiltrating a town.” Thor explained to you.
“Is that why you were talking about it being an inside job?” You asked curiously.
Thor sighed and furrowed his brow,
“I…I’m sure it is nothing. Lady Yrsa would not want anything to happen to her mother or sister, nor the people under her command.”
“But she might want something to happen to us.” Loki said darkly. “Do you truly think it wise to stay here brother?”
Thor nodded. “We must stay to continue with our objective to build trust, sooth thoughts of disruptions and create allies throughout the kingdom. It’s best not to make any further insinuations or we will loose their trust.”
Loki didn’t look overly chuffed at the idea but did not argue back
“Did you…get them all? The trolls I mean?”
Thor chuckled,
“Yes my lady, we “got” all of the trolls. No fatalities either but some casualties and structural damage to houses and the castle. I’m very glad we managed to get to you in time, thank the Norns Loki was around!”
Oh so the protective stone was just bullshit then? Maybe he had given it to you as a joke, you could imagine him laughing at you as you tried to use it for help. Or maybe Thor just didn’t know about it. You didn’t want to think about it anyway, your head felt like it was pulsating and you were struggling to hold onto threads of thought for too long.
“We will leave you now my lady, and help in the city, princely duties never stop.” Thor grinned at you and stood up. “I will send a healer in to help with your headache and bruises, but rest for tonight until the feast, I feel we need one more than ever to increase morale after this afternoon.”
Loki didn’t say anything to you and left the tent followed by his brother. You were sick to death of seeing him; Lokis changing attitude and actions were too much for you to cope with. In the space of a few hours he had: warned you to be careful, supposedly even given you something so you could get help when needed, insulted you, physically threatened your life, and saved you from a troll.
The whiplash from it all was ridiculous and you had had enough. To make matters worse it was looking like you wouldn’t even get a nights break from him as hoped.
You slowly turned over in the bed to get comfortable and try and sleep for a bit, and as you did so you noticed something; the stone that Loki had given you was sitting on the table next to you.

Bucky’s arm has a heater?
Bucky/Desmond/Loki headcanons
insp. by this post
Steams in the winter sometimes lmao
No one’s allowed to talk about his arm steaming
Sam did once. Once.
had the heater shit added cause Des is always freezing - kept making him scoot away at night >:(
Des is usually WRAPPED around bucky’s arm
Below 70? Glued to his personal heater
Loki doesn’t feel the cold so much, but his hands are freezing
Sometimes makes Loki warm up his hands on his arm before he’s allowed to touch anyone
He should do the same to Des. He does not
Loki tries to complain about the double standard but Des just looks at him like 🥺 and he gives up
Desmond is 100% manipulating them into letting him put his icy death hands on them
Des gets to be a little evil
As a treat

Masterlist / Main Masterlist
This part marks where this story will begin to line up with the events of the first three Thor movies.
Asgard 2011
Loki couldn't believe what he had just heard. His legs carried him further and further from the throne room as his anger grew. Thor, his idiot oaf of a brother would be king and his coronation would take place in a fortnight. Thor, the God of Thunder who three days ago Loki had seen drink himself sick in a mindless celebration of who knows what. His anger was practically bubbling over when he reached the training grounds where he knew he could blow off some steam.
The loud clang of metal on metal greeted him as he observed who was sparring today. Volstagg had his large battle axe in hand and Fandral's slim sword in another while the owner of the said sword had his hands risen in surrender. Hogun was a few feet away laughing at his fellow warrior's loss. Different palace guards also were sparring against each other, Loki couldn't remember any of their names but it was good they were brushing up on their skills. In the center of all the chaos and sweaty men, Astri's silver armor glinted in the sun. Her longsword was unsheathed for once as she blocked another blow from Sif who had the upper hand in the fight. Astri's brown hair swished as she managed to knock Sif off balance in an attempt to win the fight. Even Loki flinched when Sif's elbow went into Astri's face, swiftly ending the fight. Somehow, Fandral had beaten Loki to Astri's side and helped her up.
"You ought to spend more time sparring and less with your nose in books on magic." He recommended with that grin he used on all women
"Had I used my magic Sif would have been on the ground faster than she could draw her sword." Astri confidently said ignoring Fandral's obvious flirting
"Oh, I know." Sif smiled "I didn't hit you too hard, right?"
"I'll be fine," Astri said, her head finally turning to see Loki a few paces to her right "I'll kick your ass another day with magic, Sif."
Loki wanted to match her smile as she approached but he found his anger overriding his other emotions.
"What did Odin say? You look upset." Astri said once she was in front of him
"I don't wish to speak about it." Loki grumbled, "How about we just fight?"
"With magic?" She asked
"Is there any other way to fight?" He asked slyly
It had taken years but Loki was nearly certain that his magic was on par with Astri's. Sure, he still wasn't able to master the enchanting she had figured out a few months ago but that only mattered if she got close enough to touch him. This time, he was ready for whatever she was able to conjure up. The sun was warm as Volstagg counted down and when he reached zero, Astri did the unexpected. The knife that normally remained sheathed at her side came flying at Loki's head, ready to take one of his eyes out. A quick dodge to his left had kept both his eyes intact but he had unknowingly let his guard down. Loki should have given her more credit when they started because she came charging towards him, sword drawn.
"I thought you wanted to use magic." He said blocking her with his knives
"You never said we had to use magic," Astri responded, pressing down harder in an attempt to disarm him.
So she finally figured out that in an all-out strength competition, she could beat him. Very well, Loki would just have to outsmart his closest friend. His hand lit up in a soft green hue and he let it flash bright enough to blind her momentarily.
"You should keep your eyes on the prize, Astri." He jested, maneuvering himself to where her guard was weakest.
She rubbed at her eyes in an attempt to most likely stop the bright flashes his magic had cast. Loki was behind her now, ready to take his win when she reached out and grabbed at his right hand which held his favorite dagger.
"And you should know that sneaking up behind me won't work forever."
Loki's eyes widened when he saw her hands flash blue. Before he knew it, he was on his back with her knife pressed to his throat.
"Looks like I've won." She bragged
"Best out of three?" He asked, raising his hands in surrender

Despite Loki's earlier transgressions about 'not talking' about whatever Odin had said to him, Astri was still listening to her friends ranting hours later. Even now when she was trying to have a relaxing soak in a bath Loki was on the other side of a divider her handmaidens had brought, talking her ears off.
"I don't get what he sees in Thor. He's nothing compared to me. He's impulsive and brash. Traits like that could doom Asgard." Loki's voice pointed out
"Do you ever tire of being angry at Thor?" Astri asked. wishing he'd just give her a moment of silence to enjoy the lavender oil she had added to the water
"No. I have good reason to be angry at him. He is undeserving of his role as heir." Loki said
Astri sighed she knew he wasn't going to just let this go. Of course, he had every right to be upset but did he have to do it while she was trying to relax?
"It's because he favors Thor over me. He's always valued physical strength over mental. I was never even on his radar as a choice to be king." Loki sighed dejectedly.
Astri never spent much time around Odin. Sure, Frigga had told her the tale of how he had rescued her from her murderous birth father but after that, he had never truly acknowledged her. Only once had he sat down to talk to her alone and it had instead been questions about what she thought about Thor. The conversation had ended badly after Odin had asked if she viewed Thor as a potential husband stating something about heirs. Astri didn't quite remember what she said in return but it was rude enough that the AllFather didn't bring it up again. After that, she spent most of her time with Frigga, Thor, and Loki.
"Why does it matter?" Astri suddenly said, letting the words out barely thinking.
"I beg your pardon?" Loki said exasperated
"Being king." She responded playing with the floating bubbles
"I'm going to pretend you didn't say that," Loki said before beginning to spiral again about how Thor couldn't be king.
The minutes ticked by and as Loki talked from the other side of the divider, Astri tried crafting shapes with the bubbles that floated in the water around her. Suddenly a soft knock at the door interrupted both of them
"Come in," Astri called
Drifa entered with a large fluffy towel in one arm and Astri's favorite robe in another. Astri and Loki could see her brain try and connect what she was seeing in front of her. On one side her crown prince was sitting on an impossibly small stool, picking at his nails, and on the other, her lady and one of her closest friends was smiling happily in her bath.
"My Prince," She had greeted Loki first before rushing over to Astri.
"Drifa, you brought my favorite robe." Astri smiled
"Yes, I did," Drifa confirmed, helping Astri out of the warm water. "Are you alright with him being here, my lady?"
"Yes, He's fine. I'll dress myself tonight. Could you bring supper for both of us? I have a feeling Loki wants to continue talking." Astri said as Drifa tied the robe tightly around her waist.
"Right away." She said before hurrying out of the room, avoiding Loki's gaze.
"You scare her," Astri said coming around the divider to see Loki sitting on the stool she used to reach things that were too high up in her wardrobe.
"She's been seeing me for hundreds of years. How exactly is she still scared?" Loki asked, still comically short thanks to the stool.
"You're not the most approachable person in the palace, you know," Astri explained making her way to her wardrobe to pick something comfortable she could relax in.
"I'm plenty approachable." Loki said following her "You should wear the pink silk one."
"Alright style expert." She sighed pulling it out.
Loki stared down at her and the dress as if it was going to put itself on.
"Get out," Astri demanded
"You can just make it appear on your body." He complained referring to their shared abilities to conjure clothes to their bodies
"Get out and let me dress how I want to or I will eat all of the dessert Drifa brings for us to share." She threatened.
Loki groaned in annoyance but listened anyway. Astri slid the door to her closet shut and quickly dressed. Her hair was a bit wet from her bath and it dripped onto the soft fabric of her night dress, darkening the color slightly. When she emerged, Loki was sitting on her bed a large spread of food in front of him.
"She brought your favorite cakes." Loki pointed out
"She always does. That's what it is like being friends with your handmaidens." She said sitting on the other end of the bed
Loki scoffed but picked up one of the delicate-looking cakes anyway.
"Loki, no dessert before dinner." Astri scolded, trying to imitate Frigga's voice from when they were children.
"I do what I want," Loki responded, mouth full of food.
"Oh trust me, I know." Astri smiled, "Now what else did you want to say about Thor?"
We have finally reached the beginning of the first Thor movie. This means that the plot will become more intense and updates will be slower. Currently, I am hoping to update roughly every other day/ every two days. I am however a full-time college student and do not anticipate being able to always uphold a regular update schedule. School will always come first for me. I hope you are enjoying the story so far!
Also, I am so excited for the Loki Season 2 finale. I am also worried but please Marvel give me Lokius and a Thor and Loki reunion, I'm begging you. If not both then at least one of them :)

Lost and Found: chapter 1
Hey all! Finally getting around to posting one of my Loki fics and it just so happens to be the newest one! @emeraldrosequartz and I have been working in this and we continue to work on it. Check it out~!
Story summary: Loki is still trying to prove to his people (and perhaps to himself) that he actually is capable of doing good, dedicating himself to finding lost artifacts of Asgard that were left on Earth. Instead, he may have accidentally found something - someone - worth much more to him than an artifact.
Lillium walked home that afternoon after being at her local library for the entire morning and a better part of the afternoon. It was time to head back to her tiny apartment for the rest of the day. She didn’t really pay attention to where she was walking as she looked in her bag, trying to make sure she had everything before she got too far away from the library. She knew the path home easily as long as nobody else was on the sidewalk and at this time of day, this street was pretty empty. She thought she was in the clear to space out a bit, but she was wrong.
Walking from the opposite direction, Loki rushed down the sidewalk, concealing his prize beneath a trench coat he used to conceal his identity. His wide-brimmed hat kept his face out of the views of passersby, as if he would ever look at them. All he needed to do was get back to the safety of his hideout, his little hovel here in the city so he could inspect this priceless artifact in peace. To see if it was truly --
His shoulder collided with someone walking in the opposite direction. Loki nearly lost his balance and spun around a little, stumbling as he was barely able to keep upright. Meanwhile, Lillium was not so lucky, landing hard on the concrete. As she fell, some metal trash cans in the nearby alleyway shifted and toppled over. One of them was even dented a bit by something unseen.

All’s Fair in Love and War: Chapt 9
Pairing: Loki / Original Male Character, Lady Loki / Original Male Character,
Chapter Rating: Explicit
Chapter Tags: M/M sex, Anal Sex, Oral Sex, Anal Fingering,
Originally written for: @lokibingo Tumblr Chapter Masterlist | AO3 Link |
The first thing Faolán had to do was pack his belongings, they did not permit Captains to live the barracks with the ‘lower ranks’ meaning he needed his own home. It was odd to feel more nervous about finding a new home than being named Captain but here he was being shown round the third home available to purchase and he was still nervous.
He had lived in the barracks over the centuries; it had been more of a home than the place he had was raised in. To him the barracks had been his only true home, a place that was comfortable and safe.
Now as he looked around his new home, he found himself increasingly nervous, there was so much to do. Things he had never had to think about before, like decorating and deciding what colours the walls should be.
He had started the day in his newly assigned office within the palace, most people just continued on as normal. However, those close to Signar had attempted to make his first day as Captain go as miserably as possible, thankfully they were becoming an increasingly small number so all Faolán had to worry about was decorating his new office and paperwork.
Lots and lots of paperwork. Nobody had warned him about the volume of paperwork that would be tossed his way. So much paperwork! Just thinking about it made him miserable, Signar’s friends could not compete against the mountain of paperwork that had piled up on his desk after one day.

Ghost. - part 2: What I knew. Part 1 here - part 3 here PAIRING: TVA!LokixOC WARNINGS: none SUMMARY: Loki meets sombody at the TVA he once knew. Unfortunately she doesn't seem to remember him. NOTE: that was supposted to be a one-shot, but I felt like writing a second part.
Time at the TVA flows differently. It's the first thing you learn arriving there. For instance, the alternation between day and night wasn't clear because there was no sun.
Loki didn't know how much time had passed since their conversation. Nor did he know how much time had passed since he sat in front of her at the desk, under the pretense of wanting company while analyzing documents. Nor did he know how much time had passed since he had stopped working to stare at her.
"If you want to ask me something, just do it. You're unsettling."
Apparently, too much time.
The truth was he had no questions.
"I was just wondering what you were working on" Loki said.
Lydia glanced up at him before returning her gaze to the documents. "The same thing as you, more or less. Dangerous variant on the run." After all, they were in the same department, so they obviously worked on the same things.
"And do you like it?"
Midgard, 2012.
"I see you wavering more and more every day" she said with a mocking smile.
"My goals have never been so clear" Loki spat.
"Oh, if you say so, great and mighty god," Lydia taunted, taking a candy from the bag she held. Loki stared, wondering what it was and where she got it.
Lydia followed his gaze, offering him a candy. "Want one?"
Loki took it and sniffed it under her amused gaze before putting it in his mouth and immediately spitting it out, making her laugh.
"But it's disgusting, I've never eaten anything so sweet and sticky."
"I bet you wouldn't want to destroy the Earth anymore if you could enjoy the pleasures it has to offer," Lydia said with a laugh, putting another candy in her mouth. "Why do you want to destroy it anyway?"
"I don't intend to destroy it, I intend to rule it," Loki narrowed his eyes.
"And what will you do with a realm you don't even like?"
Loki straightened up, looking away, but didn't respond.
Something clicked in Lydia's mind. "Ohh," she turned to him, a little too close for the god's taste, "it's your plan B."
Loki ignored her, walking toward the room where they conducted experiments on the Tesseract, but she caught up.
"It was Asgard, the one you wanted to rule. A realm of gods, full of wealth and abundance. But without candies and where everyone hates you," Lydia acidly smiled, and Loki quickened his pace. "It seems fair, everyone should have a plan B." Lydia grabbed another candy.
Loki turned to her. "And what's yours, Miss Princhett?" he said challengingly.
Lydia looked ahead, toward the end of the hallway. "This. SHIELD is plan B."
Loki turned to her, confused by the admission. "And plan A?"
"Doctor, maybe. My mother would have liked that for sure. Or a history teacher, like my other mom."
Loki stared at her for a moment, and she returned the gaze. They were polar opposites. He fiercely desired something and would do anything to get it. She, on the other hand, settled. This difference became clear to both of them in that moment. Probably, they both believed they were right and simultaneously envied each other's capacity.
"Your mouth is covered in sugar," Loki said before walking away.
TVA, 2021.
"And do you like it?"
"What a strange question," Lydia tilted her head, wrinkling her nose. "It's my job. I do what I have to."
"But isn't there anything else you'd like to do?"
Lydia opened her mouth a couple of times, then looked down before speaking. "I would have liked to be a teacher, maybe a history teacher. I've always loved the subject" she replied sadly.
"Well, I suppose this gets you close," Loki gave her an encouraging smile.
"I suppose so," she looked up at him. "And you, Loki Prince of Asgard? What do you wanna be?"
"King, of course," he spread his arms theatrically.
"Of course," she repeated with an amused air, rolling her eyes. "And what will be your first royal decree?"
"Hiring a very well-informed history teacher at court," Loki approached her, leaning on the desk as if about to confess a secret, and Lydia mimicked him, finding herself face to face with his deep blue eyes. "And I already have someone in mind," he winked.
Lydia blushed, grabbed a folder, and rolled it up before using it to hit Loki on the head.
"Ouch," he complained, rubbing his head. "That hurt."
"Oh, don't be a baby," she straightened up in her chair. "Let's get back to work before our analysts come to scold us."
Loki smiled before returning his gaze to the papers.
----
Hope you enjoyed! Feel free to leave a heart, a note or to reblog, this really helps a lot. Part 3 in a couple of days.
