Loneliness is whispering my name in the midnight, embracing me tightly, and refusing to let it go. It sits beside me, a silent companion in my dark moments. Meanwhile, isolation locks me in a prison of my mind, darkening every step and reminding me of my loneliness. These two work together to destroy my peace.

I really enjoyed The Sandman on Netflix, and have watched it several times over. But the new spinoff, Dead Boy Detectives? It’s even more of my jam. Mysteries, supernatural weirdness, friendship and queerness and different forms of love, acceptance and awkward British people, and the soundtrack! Ahhh, Owner of a Lonely Heart will be stuck in my head for a while.

Also, cats.

Did I mention that it’s a spinoff of The Sandman and so we get some cameos from that show? Though given how so many characters fall for Edwin I’m surprised Desire didn’t show up.

I really hope it gets a renewal.

being disabled now more than ever has felt excruciatingly isolating as my body has really started to break down. I'm now at a state of isolation and loneliness where my dreams are being filled by faceless amalgamations of people i follow, leaving my dreams to be populated with parasocial accumulation of human connection, rather than real people. I sens i must, MUST do something to remedy me need for human connection, and fast, or it will completely destroy the remaining bits of my sanity i have. still i struggle to figure out what i even CAN do to fix this.

Preference/tendency for isolation

Although I considered many things into account for this particular topic, I focused mostly in three factors: the Moon, Saturn and 12th house. The Moon shows comfort and needs that we have, Saturn can give us independent overtones and, together with the 12th house, it usually speaks to us about isolation.

🖤Stellium in the 12th house. This house is par excellence the house of solitude and isolation. People with a stellium in this house often prefer to do things alone and spend their time on their own.
