Well I just had on hell of a nightmare…

The most I can remember in chronological order is that I had to evacuate a park during some sort of event because a snake had gotten loose. Then it was about some young kid and his dad or something.

Then it cuts to me playing Minecraft…

I had built a storage room made to look like a laundromat at the end of a massive tunnel, and some mobs had spawned inside. The only notable ones were a zombie, and a skeleton in full iron armour.

This skeleton was a boss of sorts as it was incredibly hard to kill and I got a bunch of stuff for killing it (and a congratulations for killing it), two sets of armour and two things called lures.

Then clear as day in my head I hear,

“Pray for an easy Demon”

Then this thing materialized. It had a pitch black body and a white face, it was huge and hunched over. Suddenly I have a shotgun like it’s Doom, but I am very much not Doom Guy and immediately get tackled by the thing, which is when my brain goes “Okay cutscene time!”

Now we’re no longer in Minecraft, and me and this thing are in the intersection of a hallway and I can get a better look at it. It’s body is still black but now it’s face is like that of a troll’s, but it’s mouth is crammed with long thin incisor teeth and two thin tusks on the top and “bottom”. I say “bottom because it’s mouth extends down the front of its neck, this time it’s lined with molars and canines.

This thing has one hand on the corner of the wall and it roars in anger at something behind me and then I wake up.

I wake up afraid and with only two thoughts in my head, “Pray for an easy Demon” and Dread.

music video drops at 12AM, lestat texts louis the link, and then nothing. for hours. maybe even a day goes by. lestat's nerves are going insane, almost foaming at the mouth, but then he gets a single text in return.

tired, twice-tragic breakup, louis de pointe du lac putting the least effort into the response to lestat's obvious cry for attention. not a single clarifying response. radio fucking silence.

lestat goes unhinged. google.com is filled with a thousand searches. what does it mean? is louis angry at him? did he ruin everything?

the only person who could clarify things for him is naturally louis' grumpy best friend also tired and fucking over it daniel molloy.

cue daniel molloy dying laughing at at the text once lestat shows him. tear stain lestat just sobs in confusion and poor daniel is going to have to try to patiently explain to lestat de lioncourt what it means to be caucasian in the twenty-first century. what it means to louis to be a black american man in the twenty-first century.

his argument? he's french. daniel, a fellow palm-colored man, has to try. he's going to get the whole damn production canceled if he says shit like that.

now, i hear you, lestat does not give a singular fuck what society says and thrives on chaos and cancellation. but this matters to louis, this is important to how louis views him.

he has to get it right and show louis he's capable of learning and displaying empathy. growing into the modern age with respect and understanding.

cue the zoom sensitivity meetings at 6pm in his dark ass tour bus. cue the therapy appointments and AITA reddit posts.

what i'm trying to say folks is that eventually, TVL public accounts will start posting his support for Kamala Harris for president and possibly playing at events.

the caucasity is still blinding but the effort is there.
