does anyone know any software that converts pdf to jpg/png with out loosing quality and it's free? i tried a bunch of sites and softwares and either file was too big or i was loosing quality...

Anyone have tips for software/tool that's good for making family trees and charting character relationships?

Because, like... over on the Mastodon/Fediverse instance Aethy I've been a total wormbrained goblin about an OC that I transplanted from his original somewhat-typical fantasy setting to a modern AU where I could ship him with @prismatoxic's Nate because Nate is best angery problem child. And, uh.

Ferret's family is steadily growing as I explore his familial relationships more. (Every married couple on the tree save for Victor/Magdalene and Andrew/Savannah has 3+ children, they're just not shown.) I would love to be able to make a family tree for them, but I don't know what tools are out there and the one I used A Long Time Ago had some limitations that could end up awkward and also, like... I was on Win 95 at the time. I have no idea where the install media might be if it even still exists in the family.

for no reason in particular, i am once again saying that even if the work you're doing is with a content creator you love and on a project you're all passionate about and you trust everyone involved and they would never, say, ghost everyone involved for months leaving you in legal limbo in regards to the ip you've spent the past three years of your life on while everyone is clamoring for a statement or any guidance at all from you...

you should write a fucking contract.

and if someone tells you "we don't need contracts it'll be better that way", run the other direction.

ESPECIALLY ESPECIALLY with ip as thorny as software dev work.#this has also been my psa for artists as always.#the fact iskall doesn't seem to have written many contracts REALLY MAKES HIM COME ACROSS AS A BAD BOSS HUH.#you know. amongst all the other far more severe reasons he was a bad boss.

I feel like Akechi was probably on a constant super-strict diet when he was living under his Detective Prince persona, you know, gotta keep that waist trim to look "perfect" on TV. Not to mention that I'm pretty sure that it's canon that he doesn't really eat well. He's totally the kind of person who'd throw himself into his own plans and goals and wouldn't look after his physical body; Hell, he would probably think he's above that, that he can pull through just thanks to his will alone, and overcome any physical discomfort or weakness.

So during that infamous pancakes scene, maybe he was telling the truth; Maybe he really did skip lunch and he was hungry. He overheard someone talking about panckes, the most basic part of his brain relised how starved he was, and he absentmindedly mentioned food to the group without thinking; Not to mention that hunger could also bog down his thought process and attentiveness.

Idk, I guess that I'd find it compelling if it was such a basic biological need that did him in in the end. No matter how much he schemed and planned, he was a human in the end, an animal who is driven by simple needs and desires. He neglected that part of himself, thinking his brilliance, his "higher" self alone will let him achieve his goals, but in the end it was that "primitive" part of him that he trivialized that pulled him down and undid all of his hard work.
