Man, how do au ra hear?

Is it lore compliant to say they have ears? Some googling says their ears are their horns. But whispering into someone's horn sounds ridiculous. Or is that how people write it? Lizards do have ears so it's probably not biologically incorrect to say an au ra has ears of some kind. It just feels strange. If you take the more reptile path, whispering into someone's ear hole sounds even less appealing than whispering into a horn.

The fandom had to have discussed this before right? Probably at length. I'm just too new to the fandom to have seen the lore debate. Can an au ra get an earache? Do their horns just hurt? Is it understood that if you say someone is whispering in an au ra's ear, they're murmuring close to like the base of their horns?

I just want to know where it is and the lore 😭 why did Mac choose this mountain, whats the history behind it. Was it just because it was secluded? I can’t imagine it’s THAT far from the city because Mk would have been more cautious if so right?

I NEED TO KNOW. What battle happened here? Was it from the jttw, or just a random battle? Was it specific to Macaque or Wukong in anyway? Theres swords and spears littering the ground. And skeletons. It was definitely a battle ground. I believe we’ve only seen a few of these? So they’re might be clues in flashbacks?

Perhaps its Sandy’s or maybe Macaque’s? Both have spears in the ground. Though we don’t have many clues as to where the battles took place besides that Sandys flack back happened on a mountain but the place probably wasn’t a factor as it was triggered by the situation. And Macaques you can see a mountain range

I couldn’t really find anything that matches. However if this were the case and THE battle really happened on this mountain it’d be quite interesting, but would surprisingly give me a lot to work with to make a timeline.

For instance if either battles happened on that mountain then it would have had to of been after the main jttw, or after Sun Wukongs circlet was removed. As I believe it is closer to his mountain, or at least the city. Which he would not have been near during the journey westwards, as we know his island is in the east, near the Dragon of the East’s palace.

I think Wukong in lmk either continued the pilgrimage without the circlet or they wrote most of the scenes to take place after, like the Samadhi fire. As we can see the group is still together, and Tripiaka is still their master. But Wukong is NOT wearing the circlet, so this probably takes place after. So that means other chapters could have been rewritten to be after the main journey west, and the groups just stuck together? Or perhaps get back together to do errands for the celestial realm like in this scene with Nezha.

Its not a crazy assumption to think that Macaques defeat and possibly death took place after the main jttw or when Sun Wukong returned home as we see Dbks defeat/death also took place after. Perhaps Wukong was just tying up loose ends 😃

Oh I ran out of photo room but In Macaque’s flashback Wukong isn’t wearing the circlet there either.

Makes me wonder just how much of the journey to the west they altered in Lego Monkie Kid, was the Lady Bone Demon’s defeat even in the early chapters? Was Macaques death before or after hers? THERE IS SO MANY LORE QUESTIONS, That if I got the answers to them It would change even more of my inner timeline than you’d expect.

Also need the help of loreheads… Was this explained? How does Yanqing know what Dan Feng look like? He’s obviously saying Dan Heng looks familiar bc of Dan Feng, but… how does he know what they look like?

My guesses are:

- Jing Yuan may have had photos of the HCQ and Yanqing saw them at one point

- Yanqing presumably went/goes to school and learned about it there (hello class today we are learning about the sedition)

- Since he is the lieutenant of the cloud knights, he would know the faces of all the fugitives and criminals of the Xianzhou (probably most likely?)

I think the 3rd option is most likely. The first one does seem plausible, but I can’t see Jing Yuan showing Yanqing those pictures (Yanqing also didn’t recognize Jingliu at first, so🤷🏻‍♀️). Second one also is debatable because the Xianzhou (or the Luofu, at least) doesn’t seem to talk about certain topics about the history of the alliance (yukong stating that mentioning jingliu’s name is forbidden. I’m sure the Xianzhou has a ban on certain subjects as well🤔)

But I don’t know😭😭 Am I stupid? Is there an actual answer to this? Or what’s the most likely explanation 🤔

Young Justice does exist, and Tim avoids them even more than the Bats- I will say the original draft of the story had YJ be the integreal reason that Tims whole past was discovered and he was reunited with Batfam

BUT due to a variety of reasons that version has been scrapped. Will YJ still make an appearance in the main fic? That is actually to be deteremined- but canon wise post fic he 100% would rejoin his team and make fast friends again :)

Like her sword specifically says, and I quote, "here, and here alone, were moon and fire ever together." But I keep seeing ppl say they were a couple??

Like. A ship is fine, that's obviously okay, but I've seen ppl say as tho that's confirmed by the lore, and I can't find anything to suggest that they were involved. Just that rellana had an unrequited love for him. Please do tell me if I'm wrong tho.

Question on Solas sustaining the Veil

Wondering if anyone can clear up this lore confusion I have...

(1) We know Solas tied the Veil to the life force of the evanuris.

(2) We know other than Elgar'nan and Ghilan'nain, the other evanuris are dead.

(3) We know the archdemons made the evanuris immortal.

*** My assumption is that the other evanuris died because they evanuris were rendered mortal when the grey wardens killed their archdemons and thus the Veil drained their life force.

We know Solas didn't bind himself to a dragon. He didn't make an archdemon, so he's not immortal in the same way that the others are. He can bleed and be killed.

Which is a problem when he's supposed to be sustaining the Veil with his life force. If my assumption was correct, then Solas would just die.

So... I've got to be wrong here.

Did anyone else gets a different understanding of how this all works?

Guys. Genuine Undertale lore question here, because I cannot find an answer anywhere. When tf did Alphys research timelines???

Like, in the quiz show, if you answer that you don't know who her crush is, she'll mention that she's done research on alternate universes. Pair that with her and Sans knowing each other, and his knowledge of them, "Our reports", and it's pretty clear she did. But when?

Was it after becoming the Royal Scientist? Maybe, but she makes it sound like the DT experiments were the first thing she did when she got into that position.

It doesn't seem like it could have been before, since Asgore had no idea who she was, and she gives absolutely no indication of having done any kinds of scientific work before getting the position. So like.... when on earth does that fit into the timeline?

lore question, regarding the Nomadic Merchants:

"These merchants once thrived as the Great Caravan, but after being accused of heretical beliefs, their entire clan was rounded up and buried alive far underground.

Then, they chanted a curse of despair, and summoned the flame of frenzy." (item description of the Nomadic Merchant's Finery)

... so, do we have any indication of when that happened, in relation to other events on the timeline? (I'm basically trying to figure out whether it had already happened by the time Godfrey was banished.) I would assume that when the merchant clan was buried alive–down in Leyndell's Subterranean Shunning Grounds, apparently–, the Golden Order was already in place, likely being the power structure responsible for declaring and prosecuting "heretical beliefs"? Was the Great Caravan still around during the "early" age of the Erdtree? After all, the notion of thriving merchants would pair nicely with a period that is said to be of flourishing and abundance, and getting rid of them because their beliefs were perceived as a threat to the Order might also very well align with Marika's and Godfrey's policies? I mean: At that point in time, apparently it's all about establishing the Erdtree as a dominant concept and the source of blessings and abundance. And then there's a whole lot of merchants doing very well but apparently not adhering to the Order's principles? Implying that there might be other ways to thrive than by following the dominant ideology? That's not what you want to see as a ruler trying to establish the absolute authority of your principles. If the Great Caravan was still around at that time, it would make a lot of sense that their existence was perceived as defying the predominant set of beliefs and thus the Order's power structures, so of course they'd have to be sealed away. I haven't paid too much attention to the whole Frenzied Flame thing in game (and lore) so far so I might very well be missing something, and maybe the Great Caravan was buried alive way before Marika and Godfrey (Leyndell might already have been a place of power before them)?

Hello, since you said that requests are open i actually got two ideas for your hybrid au. Nr.1 would be some shenanigans about the reader getting some driving lessons from the boys.

And for Nr.2 I was kinda curious about how it was turning feral from the perspective of the guys in your Halloween special. Like did the realize what was happening, like their thoughts getting cloudy or being easier to irritate, did it take time to happen to them or did it come out of nowhere?

Okay so I love both of these, but I will mention again that the hybrid au is @bluegiragi ‘s work with me adding some headcanons. Also since this is more of a question, the reader is mostly being referred to in the third person.

To start off, in terms of driving Spirit is old enough and eligible to drive I would say, for the most part. If anything she gets those lessons from Nikolai. The guys are fine going in with her, and she’s very panicky and shaking on the first go. Any first time mistakes like accelerating too hard and or hard braking is met with Spirit apologizing over and over and their face buried in the steering wheel. The guys are all pretty comfortable with letting you take the time to get it out of your system, and just reminding you, you’re in the middle of huge tarmac (not sure if that’s the right word) and you won’t hit anyone.

Nik is definitely teaching you more advanced stuff, like hard turns, and some reflexes. If you’re not driving then he let’s you help with repairs or mods on vehicles. It’s rare you get to do this but you love it.

Something to mention though is that in terms of actually driving, while yes, Spirit could and would get their licence, it’s not exactly easy, because unfortunately driving is different per country. In Canada and the US the average speed is 60 in urban areas and on the highways and rural it’s like 110 or so. However, the 141 are European/British. Speed limits are much different, with highway speed limit being 70 mph in the UK and 125 mph in Germany. You also have Los Vacqueros there, and I have no clue what the speed limits are for that.

Number 2 is a bit more shrouded I hadn’t thought that far. According to the canon of the AU Werewolves aren’t affected by vampires the same as other hybrids. That’s what they (Rudy, Ghost and Spirit) believe is happening. However Soap is throwing them off a bit because he’s gone feral as well. For the most part none of them realized it. They were injured, most passing out on the way back and were loaded on to stretchers into the base to be treated.

Once they were hit, they likely took notice to a degree but shoved it off as just a weak tranquilizer or sedative. As they kept going, they likely noticed it was having an affect eventually, but didn't get the chance to speak up. If you noticed in the most recent part, Soap is mentioned to have some foam at the mouth.

Also at the time I am writing the last part of this, it is November, and I will try to get the rest out but life is gonna be a little crazy and I don't have a final ending in mind yet. I have some more, it's the wrapping up that I need to figure out.
