I'm just saying. Lovecraft wasn't exactly an unbiased source. Maybe they're perfectly nice. Maybe they just want to stop people saying slurs. Maybe they're just Welsh.

I'm not saying I want the world to end, but I think that it would be a decent compromise to maybe unseal one or two of the smaller ones, just to see what happens. I bet we could put them back if there's a problem. And maybe they'll give us candy!

If it's just one of them, and maybe just for the weekend, it'll be fine. Come on, guys. What's life without a little risk?

This is one the many, many examples of how stuff like discrimination, or in this case antisemitism is presented as this total normal thing to do to a person in classical literature.

I don't know about this, both Jonathan and Bram Stoker, but comparing a proud jewish man who wears traditional clothing at work with a stereotype in theater made to be make fun at, and specifically calling how big his nose is not excusable just because this book is old. On top of (just like Jonathan did in Varna) mentioning that they bribed him.

So uh. I'm posting a new legacy.

I'll avoid ranting for hours and just summarize: it's going to be a horror-themed nsb. By "horror-themed", I do mean this it's going to be darker/rated higher than my other projects.

A full list of triggers for each gen will be posted on the hub page, as well as the navigation post for each gen (the pinned post on my blog while the gen is posting). However, I will say upfront that there will never be any sexual violence, nor will there be gore further than some edited blood shown on-screen. I'm trying to be creepy, not genuinely upsetting, so all potentially triggering content will always be tagged. And, as always, I encourage you to let me know if there's something you would like tagged, or if there's a better way for me to tag things to avoid making anyone uncomfortable.

Also, Labyrinth isn't going anywhere! Gen 5 is just a huge project so it was always going to take a while!

While "Kuh-thoo-lu" is the accepted pronunciation, there's nothing stopping you from having cultists who use "Ku-lu-ho", "Kat-hu-lu" or the entirety of Flo Rider's 2008 hit song (Shawty Got) Low as the god's name.
