pak haeyoung and an chisoo in 'signal' give me that very, well, subtle, thin vibe of snarry. like it's barely there but i recognize and read it off their dynamics like that. and i'm there not for the main lead guy to change his future in the past (like i expect that to happen i don't know how, so i don't worry; or even if doesn't happen, it's not in vain); but i want this 'snape' to do something good. in the end. those half-closed eyes and the perfect hair to blame.

also i want sangcheol and jeongwoo like that below. where sangcheol was having his birthday party, small and in a bar, but didn't want to distract jeongwoo from his intense exam studies. but some detective bird mentioned it (intentionally) to jeongwoo. so he came. flied. wanted to chirp all his praises to sangcheol, even had a drink, and alcohol with hard studying got him out quickly.

The fact that both the new Opening and Ending songs puts Bonney as the center character is making me heavily emotional, this little girl who just wants her dad back but has to fight the authority of a world much larger than she could even begin to fathom, this child full of dreams who just wants her dad to send her a letter, to have a vacation around the world with her 😭 fucking stop this rn man

My favorite thing about Thunderbolts* was it’s emphasis on the idea that saving people is what makes you a hero. First and foremost a hero saves people the actual characters don’t feel like they are worthy enough to become heroes even when actively taking on the bad guy they don’t start to feel like this is something they can actually do, actually be until they start saving civilians and it’s not even from villians or goons it’s just from rubble. It’s this big moment where everything clicks and so ofcourse it makes so much sense that they don’t save the day by beating up the big bad they do it by saving their friend. By solidly saying none of this matters if you can’t save people even from their selves.

Hell fighting actively makes the situation worse. The Void only grows stronger the more you fight against it. at the end there it might have been easier to tackle Bob off the void to physically stop him from punching but they choose to accept him as he is for all he is even as they literally witness his worst moments. Even after everything that he has done everything that has happened to him he is still worthy of being saved just like every other innocent bystander on the street. And if Bob is worthy of being saved so our the rest of them.

These are characters that have spent years at this point going on missions and killing people because they were told too. They can fight they can take out the bad guys we know that they don’t need to prove it to us. So the question becomes; but can they save people? And all these downtrodden depressed group of losers and weirdos can say is We’ll try. And they do.

It’s why the last frame of the credits after numerous news clippings asking if they have what it takes, if they are strong enough to be earths mightiest heroes, if they are good enough. Is literally them picking up a fallen little girl.

In light of the recent Gilbert JP takeover, I am….thinking of Silvio (sorry Gil)

Specifically, Silvio dressing down at night. I can imagine he gets down to his regular shirt and pants before taking off his jewelry, and I imagine that he'd used to the routine of taking it off himself.

But I am imagining that after months of being together, there is now the routine of you gently taking his rings off his fingers. He presents his hands to you with a soft smile, watching you slide each one off, rubbing at the indents some of the harsher ones leave. How you set those down on the vanity, where you've learned he keeps them in what order.

Then, you move to any bracelets he might be wearing. Being extra careful with the one he truly cherishes, a bracelet he got out at sea- its woven with special memories.

You move onto his necklaces, but he doesn't turn around for you. Instead he watches you still, taking chances to lean down and press a kiss against your forehead, your cheek, closing the distance between you.

You do your best to ignore it, so when you move onto his earrings, he clasps your hand and presses kisses against your wrist, leaving a mark if he's feeling cheeky.

There's giggles between the two of you, but when you finally finish, he takes your hands in his and begins to do the same process.

Methodically slipping off the jewelry he's given you from your fingers. The routine is ingrained at this point, that its past the small discussion on what jewelry from back home is important to you, and why. So he doesn't need reminders as to why the pinky ring you keep needs to be handled carefully lest the gem falls out again.

But when he comes to your necklaces, you do turn around for him. Because he loves to press kisses against your neck when he finishes, leaving teasing hickies as a soft reminder of how you're still his, beneath the jewels and clothes.

You'd argue that you don't need ‘reminders’, but you can't deny the way your heart pumps with each one.

this. this right here is the reason i love TUC so much. the found family feels were so strong in this episode and somun needed to hear those words so much.

and i love how it was hana who went into his memories to wake him up, she is the one who was with him when he had to relieve his parents' death again in s1 and watched him break down back then, and once again she watches somun at his lowest- and helps him out of it. there's something in their relationship that's quiet but so present in the way they support each other through thick and thin.. and i dig it. they're perfect for each other- and not necessarily in a romantic sense; i appreciate that about their bond.

also love how a couple of episodes back, somun introduced themselves as hana's family to dohwi, and hana echoes the sentiment here when she reminds him that they are his family, and he shouldn't suffer alone, and that they can protect him too.... oof. good heartrending stuff.

and then their smiles when somun wakes up??? i love this family so much
