as you and scara pull up to a cafe, you attempt to unbuckle your seatbelt in an attempt to get out but kuni stops you.

"You know there's gonna be paparazzis everywhere we go, right?"

"Yeah, is anything wrong?"

"You're fine with that?"

you hear the disbelief in his sentence as you offer him a small smile, his heart skips a bit as he returns the smile back to you.

"Of course I am."

he grabs your hand as he unbuckles your seatbelt for you, you were planning to get out the car already since you were interested in the cafe but he grabbed your arm gently.

"No. Stay."

he rushes out before opening your door for you, you giggle as you wander into the cafe, he trails behind you and as the both of you enter the cafe, a black short haired cat greets you, the cat was jumping up and agressively meowing, he was demanding you pick him up.

and who were you to deny such a cute kitty that reminds you of a certain someone, as soon as you pick him up he relaxes into your hold, however he stared at the male besides you, hissing at him before giving scaramouche an almost teasing/victorius grin, you hid your small laugh before your eyes averted to the indigo haired male beside you, to your surprise it seems he took the cat's action a bit seriously, he was glaring intensely at the cat.

"Kuni calm down, it's just a cat."

"Yeah, and yet he has your attention."

"Honey, calm down, my attention is all on you."

"I'm gonna uh, i'll go uhm uh, order?"

"You go do that, i'll be here."

He tilts his head and keeps smiling at you with that cheeky grin of his. you look back down at your phone and notice the clock, you swiftly stand up and grab his hand dragging him outside. He'll oblige without resistance, he's chuckling all the way you're dragging him, "slow down ma chérie, were not gonna be late". On the balcony you arrive, and look up at the clear sky, when the first glimmer appears, you lean onto the balcony railing following the following ones with your eyes, as one by one they kept on exploding in the sky, different shapes and colours dancing all over the nightsky. He can't help but laugh at your amusement, he himself leans on the railing, but his eyes aren't focused on the sky. He can see the fireworks just enough in the reflection of your eyes, he doesn't need to look at the boring sky, he'd prefer watching your joy and love as you watch the explosions in the sky. When the fireworks are over, he's still unmoving, too focused to even notice. "Happy new year's darling" he says and offers a wink to you, "happy new year's lyney!". A hand may slide up your neck, slowly pulling you in, a pair of lips meets yours, so gently and tenderly. He's smiling through the kiss, unable to hold back his happiness, oh what a lucky magician he is, to have the most precious thing in the world, right here. He doesn't need any tricks, no illusions nothing. All he needs with you is the warm feeling of your body in his arms, and your heartbeat near his.

“What a long day.” You say once you lay down on Scaramouche’s bed. “Mm, yeah.” He snuggles next to you. “Tired?” You ask and he nods. He wraps his arms around your waist, resting his head on your shoulder.

“I love you.” He mumbled and you laugh knowing he’s about to hit the hay soon. “I love you too.” You kiss the top of his head. “Yn,” “Hm?” “Do you want to get married?” You sit up immediately from shock and his head falls right on the sheet. “W-What?” You blush. “You’re serious?” Scaramouche sits up. “Yeah but if you don’t want to then I’m okay. As long as I’m with you.” You blush even more.

“Wow, I didn’t know you were serious…” “Of course I’m serious. Same as I’m serious about having a family with you.” You gasp, “Oh my god. Scara, I don’t know what to say.” Scaramouche frowns, “Sorry. That’s a lot isn’t it?” “A bit…” You hold his hand. “What’s with the sudden suggestion?”

Scaramouche leans his head back on your shoulder. “I guess seeing my mom made me question a lot of things.” “Oh like what?” “I don’t know…I don’t want to turn out like her. I know I’m NOT her but I’m scared that…that I’ll hurt you…” You frown and hold him tight. “You won’t hurt me Scara. Our relationship is by no means perfect but we’ll always pull through. Don’t push yourself too hard.”

You brush his hair and plant a kiss on top of his head. Scaramouche hums and lifts his head up. “You always know what to say.” You giggle, “Not always.” You kiss him and he smiles. “I love you.” “I love you too.”

He drags you back down on the bed. “Still, think about what I said.” You blush and hide your face in the covers. “I will…” “Good.” Then, he fell asleep.

You sigh then look at Scaramouche. He slept soundly and peacefully. You smile and place a hand on his cheek. “Maybe.” You whisper. “When the time comes, I’ll definitely say yes.” You kiss his forehead and you also begin to drift in sleep.
