you were constantly singing, i mean, whether it’d be humming along to the music that flowed from your speaker, or belting out lyrics in the shower — you were singing a song whenever you’d gotten the chance. and the best part about it? rafe loved every moment of it. sure, there were times where’d be having a rough day and could do without it, but he was never outright mean about it. truth be told, hearing the spanish words slide off of your tongue made him want you, perched on his lap, like the good girl you are, whispering sweet nothings into his ear.

you were in the middle of singing a kali uchis song while rafe sat at his desk, struggling to focus on properly counting the stack of blue dollar bills that rested in the palm of his large hand, “hey, mama - d’you want to hold off on the singing while i count this?” he’d call out from his seat, before resuming his silent counting.

“sorry,” you winced, biting down into the fat of your bottom lip as you swallowed down your embarrassment, deciding to distract yourself by forcing your attention on the neatly displayed bookcase before you.

rafe was quick to finish his silent task, before sighing as he leaned back into his seat, his legs spread deliciously as he watched you adjust books that were already stood upright. he knew his words got to you easily, you didn’t deal well with correction, you always took it to the heart. so, he decided he’d continue watching you: looking to see if you’d crack.

you decided to stand on your tippy toes, your legs a bit wobbly from rafe having you fucked flush against the wall, just twenty minutes prior. you’d thrown on one of his shirts, the curve of your plush ass straining against the thin fabric as you reached your arm towards the one book that stood just a tad bit crooked. rafe couldn’t help but rub his lips with the side of his index finger, holding back a laugh as you became a bit too engrossed in the bookcase.

deciding to put you out of your misery, rafe let out an obnoxious huff of air, “come here, baby,” he caved, moving his chair away from the desk, giving you the space to climb onto his inviting lap.

you were quick to oblige, approaching rafe with a subtle pout on your lips as you curled into his side, your head resting on his shoulder, his hand softly tapping against the side of your hip. meanwhile, you toyed with his other hand, a lingering sense of embarrassment still bubbling in your stomach as you compared your hand size with rafe.

rafe was all too familiar with your anxious ways, so he decided to humor you about the song that you were singing along to, “so, what was that song that you were singing, earlier?” he questioned, sliding his fingers through yours, bringing his free hand to the back of your neck, guiding you to look up at him.

“la luna enamorada — it’s a kali uchis song,” you spoke, your eyes locked directly on rafe’s as he nodded with his mouth slightly opened. you were the first to break the eye contact, a blush creeping to your cheeks.

rafe presses his lips to the top of your hair, lightly bouncing his knee, “y’should teach me what all of that means,” he taps the side of your neck, commanding your full attention.

you gasped excitedly, sitting up straight in rafe’s lap, “oh my god, and then we can just start talking shit about people in spanish and they won’t even know,” you spewed quickly, laying your hand on his firm chest.

rafe quickly checked-out from your eager ramble, his eyes focused on the hem of his shirt that bunched up around your lower waist. his eyes now hung low as he took in the sight of the thin black thong that was almost entirely enveloped by your ass. the bounce in rafe’s knee now ceased as you turned to face him with a joyous smile.

“okay, so we can start with the basics, y’know-” you were quickly cut off by rafe pulling you to lay back against his chest, his hand now lightly wrapping around your throat.

“tell me that you love me,” he sighed, his hand that was once interlocked with yours now sliding underneath the seamless fabric of your thong. you let out a shaky breath, the overflow of excitement that coursed through your veins, now turning into an adrenaline that hummed through you.

and continuing my rambles on how much i love arc 3 (it may be slop but it's MY slop 💖) i just. absolutely love love love the legend of the hive, the concept of the breath of evil (it inspired the main villain in one of my creative projects!), gosh, BUG DRAGONS? my autistic ass LOVES this shit!!!!! in fact I only read wings of fire at all because i saw how beautiful book 15's cover was at the library i was at and I wanted to see the build up to such an interesting climax, and for it to just, never happen??? >:(.

i have associative synesthesia (just like Whiteout!) and wings of fire is orange, very very orange. it smells like fire and air freshener, and it's the type of orange you see on a sun ray being casted through a window, onto wood, while the air is cold and the year is anywhere from 2014 to 2017. ive been trying to figure out what this feeling is called for a very, very long time, and I guess the closest thing is melancholy mixed with nostalgia? like the type of nostalgia for something that never happened, that you wish was real, like when you see something ancient, like thousands of years ancient? i came to this conclusion after finishing arc 1, and the next 2 arcs really did not disappoint in this. i don't know if this even makes any sense at all to other people but it totally does to me.

i also feel like wings of fire isn't ready for arc 4, in forge your dragon world tui mentions she doesn't outline the books, she knows the big twists beforehand sure but she just dives right in and. THATS NOT HOW YOU WRITE!!!!!! NO WONDER SO MUCH STUFF IS BADLY WRITTEN AND INCONSISTENT!!! like another user here mentioned, she can't go forward when there's so much stuff left behind. grr. i really hope she plans out arc 4 properly.

My Review:

Absolutely hilarious on so many levels while also portraying a deeply traumatized 27 year old Harry Potter dealing with PTSD, chronic pain, and seeing the faces of deceased loved ones at every turn.

Percy/Harry isn’t a pairing I’d seen before, but I fell for their dynamic in this almost immediately. At first, you think Harry’s the unhinged one, but it quickly becomes clear that there’s more to Percy than we (and Harry) know. That being said, they’re very domestic for a Dark Lord and his partner and it’s adorable.

My favorite things about this fic, in no particular order:

Heyo whats up! The other day I stumbled across this post by @jazz-kitty which pitched a possible Swap AU for Pokemon Reborn, which this small comic in of itself inspired. so many ideas for more swaps for.

So after getting the go ahead from Jazz, I thought it could be fun to ramble about some more possible swaps for some of the other swaps for this au :3

Its a good bit so I'm gonna put it under a read more because I have many ideas that I am happy to explain!

Ok first off are the swaps already present in the original post by Jazz, which I will be using as a baseline for my ideas! The most notable swap is Cal and Blake Whitaker being the focus of the original comic, and already I think that is just. a really neat concept all things considered. Already both of their arcs would be very different, with Cal never going to Apophyll, likely still having a lot of that pent up frustration and anger issues, and Blake mellowing out a bit, but probably still being a bit of a jerk since he doesn't really give a shit about a lot of whats going on. If anything I'd still say that Blake probably still kicked Cal's ass when they first meet like in canon which makes Cal even more mad at him in swap au,

Next is Lin swapping with the protagonist. Honestly I'd still need to think about which protagonist would take canon Lin's place since I don't really have a definitive favorite among them, and I feel like they all would be pretty interesting to switch around. I just know that it'd probably end up being one of them.

Then last of the swaps shown in the comic is Bennett taking the place of Shelly. To be honest Bennett ending up more like an anxious bookworm might be better for him in the long run versus how he is base game. Don't get me wrong Bennett probably has one of my favorite arcs throughout main game and post game, but I'm doing a playthrough rn and I just got to Iollia valley and. C'mon man.

First off is a big swap between Julia and Florinia with Amaria and Titania respectively (as well as Fern and Hardy but I'll get to them in the next section). Julia taking the place of Amaria, with Amaria being in charge of the water treatment center/gym and Julia living with Florinia in the Fiore Mansion. Titania would be a teacher at the Onyx school in Florinia's stead, writing as a side hobby, while Florinia maybe works out in the field studying pokemon strategy in the wild to better understand them? Her gym being out in the desert would also fit with her theme of being a grass type sand team.

Next is Fern and Hardy swapping. Hardy loses his connection with Titania as she gets absorbed in her work at the school, falling more into his rock star persona, although he ends up more arrogant due to his fame around the school and city. Then there's Fern, who I'd say is probably more like he is post game? Definitely the kind of guy who'd make someone smile (although still probably a little misguided).

My next swap is a bit simpler being Cain and Aya, with Aya being the recurring rival and Cain being the poison type gym leader, Cain not being able to runaway while Aya does.

Another somewhat big swap is Solaris and Elias as well as Taka and Luna, with Elias being the founder of Team Meteor, Luna being the unwilling heir, Solaris is the third member of the elite four and Taka is on the run from his father, carrying the emerald brooch.

To round out the ideas I had for Team Meteor is Sirius and Connal. They both have connections to the Belroses and also they are both huge pieces of shit. Sorry to be blunt but its true.

Another swap that I think would be interesting is Noel and Anna with Eve and Lumi respectively. Honestly I don't really have much of an explanation I just think they would be interesting pairs to switch.

And thats all the swaps I was able to come up with. There are probably more I could come up with and honestly knowing me I could probably come up with swaps for the whole game if you give me like. a week. but also that would take me forever and I am tired-- i might end up doing some doodles for these ideas at some point to cause swap aus are fun. anyways thanks for reading my rambles :3

As for what this blog is, well I wanted to try my hand at an Eebydeeby before remembering I already had an Eebydeeby character as apart a TTRPG Pokemon Campaign called PMD 199 where our characters have been violently flinged into the Pokemon PC system of this girl named Aureolin. I'll be having fun with this commentating on the campaign with this blog. Despite that this blog will be more casual since I'm not legally allowed to have his plot progress outside of the game. He'll still interact plenty, just no way to progress anything.

For extra info about Ozzie and the campaign, there's what I like calling Glitch Traits, all player characters have one, Ozzie's is Fused with basically means his glasses are stuck to his face.

so in fanfiction, one of the best things to me is seeing relationships (both platonic and romantic) that never happened in the original material. i think it’s very fun coming up with those characters dynamics and banter and just imagining how they would talk with each other. the argument that since the characters never met in canon, it’s unrealistic for them to have a relationship in a fic is one i don’t really get. why would you want to limit yourself like that writing wise? personally for me, coming up with character dynamics and interactions is my favorite part of writing, so i don’t really understand why you wouldn’t want to explore those unknown relationships. (that’s just my opinion though, i mean no disrespect.)

ok i started rambling there for a minute but the point of this was to talk about one of my favorites of these kind of relationships, which is Draco Malfoy and Luna Lovegood.

Draco and Luna’s friendship, in any fic that i’ve read with them, is always fantastic, whether or not i actually liked the story, their friendship is always the best part. the way they interact and somehow just understand each other is so weirdly sweet and heartwarming, their personalities are incredibly different but, and i know this sounds cheesy, they kind of bring out the best of each other and i think that’s what makes them work.

Draco is a character that’s gone through a lot of shit and has a lot of repressed pain and anguish that he hasn’t dealt with properly, pain that he hides behind snarky attitude and Luna is a comforting and calm presence that he can open up to about his trauma. and Luna, to a lot of people, is a nut, people don’t take her seriously, she talks about creatures supposedly only she can see, she wears outlandish clothes, she’s a very eccentric person so people tend to write her off as just the crazy girl. but Draco listens to her, he knows Luna is smarter then people think she is (she’s in fucking Ravenclaw for a reason people). he doesn’t just shove away all of her ideas and claims, he actually listens and considers what she’s saying, and even if he doesn’t always believe it, he respects her for her opinion.

also i wasn’t aware of this until recently and i’m still not completely sure if it’s real, but i’m pretty sure Draco and Luna are canonically cousins. Xenophilius Lovegood is Lucius Malfoy’s brother, and he was disowned from the family for marrying Luna’s mother, Pandora Lovegood, who came from a family of “blood traitors” and wasn’t the idle wife for a Malfoy son, but he married her anyways and changed his name to Lovegood to get away from his bio family. again i don’t know if it’s actually canon but it makes the most sense of any theory i’ve heard about the Lovegood’s.

but yeah, if they are canonically cousins, don’t you think they’d have had more of a relationship? Luna and Draco’s friendship dynamic could have been so interesting, and it’s something i really want to explore more in writing (you know, when i actually start writing and not just saying i’m going to).

Eclipse, they barely exist but they're worming through our brains anyway-

Counting the Balloon World thing and also Ruin DLC Sun and Moon too because god knows I won't get questions about them separately.

ECLIPSE

First impression: When we first saw anything about "Eclipse" in the Balloon World minigame I was like "Oh! That's a fucked up thing!" and proceeded to make shit up about it like wildly. When we saw Eclipse in the Ruin DLC teasers I was literally like fingers crossed hoping so fucking hard that they weren't gonna go with "Sun and Moon got blended together" it was bad for me.

Impression now: I LIKE ECLIPSE. I LIKE ECLIPSE A LOT FOR HOW LITTLE I TALK ABOUT THEM. I wasn't expecting for Sun to directly come and ask for help, Moon. Moon. Moving on! And Eclipse themself being so sweet and kind of bringing a balance while also not deleting Sun and Moon caught me off-guard in a good way.

Favorite moment: Sunnydrop was the highlight of the entire Ruin DLC Daycare section for me I'm sorry. My ass literally wanted to tear up hearing them sing to comfort themself that hit so fucking hard with the hearing them cry and having had them just beg for help. Eclipse's reveal definitely had me absolutely jawdrop, and Sun's little "Thank you..." at the end was so. Ough Sun we're taking you for a vacation.

Idea for a story: I badly need to write my Memento Mori Eclipses. I have like 3 of them and you guys don't know even 1. In MEMO, Ruin DLC Eclipse (Chroma) would be brought in post-canon to try to stabilize Sol and Luna so I'd want to try writing her introduction to them and how their dynamic develops. Also I should write some poetic creepy shit with my Balloon World Eclipses (Umbra and Saros) they're so good for it.

Unpopular opinion: Moondrop is NOT being straight-up evil and doing a "split personality takeover" thing I don't care I do NOT care, I don't care how it's framed and I don't care what the game and books imply. They literally read as being in distress-fueled mental breakdown mode to me I genuinely cannot read them any other way and I could ramble about it.

Favorite relationship: Eclipse, Sun and Moon's relationship has so many chances to be so interesting and sweet. Also I would have loved to see them interacting with Cassie. And it's a bit of a shame that none of the other characters ever talks about or interacts with them.

Favorite headcanon: For canon, the idea that Eclipse was a third AI meant to help, care for or protect Sun, Moon and the kids that got taken out to facilitate hacking Moon and hurting people. Also I made Umbra a woman for Vanny parallels and now when I make Eclipse variants my first thought is to make them women it's a disease.

Uhhh idk rambling about the f/os that source from Horror Games based on if I think I could play the game

Karl: I probably could play the game BUT I suck ass at games like RE:V and also would probably be SO gay watching his scenes In Person.

"The Pig"/Amanda: I suck at games like DBD but it'd be fun tbh.

Harvey: I absolutely would not be able to handle getting jumpscared and then cry over Harvey so probably not tbh. I love watching/listening to gameplay tho the game is beautiful

Nate: I can NOT handle the tense atmosphere of the game dude I got to like, 2 a.m. in FNAF2 and was perfectly FINE but I couldn't cope 😭

Miles: I could play the game absolutely but like some scares might get me. Also I'd cry about all the bullshit my boy goes through.

Abraham: If I choose to ignore the ending I absolutely could play the game lmao. Best part is I'm 90% sure I couldn't fuck up and get my babyboy killed sooo. We love to see it!

Itward and Paltronas: I would have a BLAST playing this game holy fuck I wanna play it so bad. I don't CARE that I've watched like so many different playthroughs!!! It's THAT good!!!

Glamrock Freddy: I think I could handle this game because it's less like the OGs in terms of like, atmosphere but still got stuff that could scare me so! Idk.

Allison and Tom: Idk I'm mixed. I like, haven't finished watching playthroughs of the game bc I lost interest in it?? Don't ask how they became f/os if I kept losing interest in the game I cannot explain.

Daniel: Probably? Idk how much horror is in his game though. Either way it'd be quirky.

HUNK: Same as Karl except I don't have to fight him (I think) but get to go "awooga train whistle heart eyes ba-dump ba-dump" the second he shows up.

V.I.C.: I could for like a few first days of the game but then I'd get overwhelmed by all the orders and maintaining shit?? But the game FUCKS so hard so I think I could get over it or get a strategy.

Luna: I absolutely couldn't like I'm too worried about my wife getting snatched by BITCHES. But I do love the investigation aspect of the game so if I ever did get the money to play it I'd just play the mode where it's just solving shit.

Lucas: Absolutely not I'm too stupid for the gameplay and I'd fucking scream seeing ANY jumpscare. Also the game is so fucking difficult I could not handle it.

Dana and Emma: I think I could but the SECOND that motherfucker rolls up with that music and shit I'd fucking lose it.

Colt: I suck at stealth but I think I could tbh. It's a type of style I'd love to play but like, I just suCK at stealth.

Rebecca: I would love to omg. The way the game is different for every player and playthrough LIKEEEE. On the other hand if like, the demons did some shit or I didn't notice the Mimic until too late I'd fucking lose it.

Eugene: No, which is on the entire basis that I am deeply afraid of spiders. Idc that it's a fuckign Spider Train I would freak the fuck out if I saw that fucking thing crawl at me.

Jeff: I mean I literally love playing the game so yeah absolutely <3. I can't fuCKING get past the floors after The Figure but that's because I panic and don't get in the closet.

John Doe: YESYEYSYESYEYS I would be soooo happy to play the game omg omg omg

Andrew: YES I love the game I love the style I love him and I just. It's fun.

Beastie: Fuck yeah. Except I'd purposely run at it because I love my sweet loud creacher. Also I love seeing how people animate it's jumpscares!!!

(I didn't include Pierce, Cat, and Green bc I play the games like really often. I did include Jeff bc I haven't played the game since it's been updated soo there's new things and I'm intimidated.)
