Never have truer words been spoken. But they come as good news for Tumblr's sewing community, however, who have been sewing some absolute delights. Some real œuvres d'art. Some winner-winner chicken dinners.

Just going to ramble about the gleamfolk dudes

The two were married for years so the separation was definitely a blow to both of them. However, with Stoli doing it for his own self interest lessened the impact slightly. He has ways to distract himself like hosting the dating show (ironic I know) but Bourbon doesn't have that.

He does do the occasional shift at the bar to make sure he still has money to get by, but most of his focus is solely trying to find the demon. It's sweet but it isn't healthy.

Bourbon is dependent on his husband to the extent he literally feels he's unable to go on without him, hence why he's put so much energy into scouring the city to find the guy.

The thing is, Stoli will deny it but he does miss his pal. He still loves the guy in a way, but is putting himself first in moving to gleamfolk, trying to build favour by serving the God there, to try and restore his form.

A large portion of his body was left burned from the robbery, his wings were unsalvageable, he lost an eye and half his face. He's gone through a lot of mental and physical trauma, so trying to do what he thinks is best for himself is understandable.

What isn't understandable is him leaving in the middle of the night with just a note left behind, because he thought Bourbon would say no to leaving their established home and business for the loose idea of salvation.
