@kenni33 While I can understand that the idea of two pairs siblings dating and marrying another separate pair of siblings can be socially weird and awkward for some people, I disagree that it's incest as they aren't biologically related (there's no chances they'll pass on genetic mutations to their children) or legally siblings via their parents marriage and/or adoption.

There's nothing legally or morally wrong with two pairs of siblings from different families dating and marrying. There's a term called "double in-laws" where marriage between two pairs of separate siblings does happen. The team "double cousins" (used in how to To Kill A Mockingbird) is used for their offspring . While it's not very common for in-laws to date and marry (particularly in Western culture) it's certainly not unheard of.

Fiction wise, the Chipmunks (Alvin, Simon and Theodore) and Chipettes (Brittany, Jeanette and Eleanor) from the Alvin and the Chipmunks franchise are some examples of one trio of siblings having romantic feelings for another sibling trio. Though it's currently puppy love as they're still quite young it was confirmed in the 80's series episode "Big Dreams" that the three counterpart pairings will eventually get married in adulthood. This is most modern example I can find. Other examples are shown in the TV Tropes link I added.

I have heard of real life examples where one set of twins marries another set of twins. There are also other historical examples of in-laws marrying or at least dating. They are mentioned in TV Tropes.

Since Clay and Viva have already established a special bond and connection with each other even before they learned that Clay's younger brother and Viva's younger sister were dating I think it's makes the idea of a romantic relationship forming between them feel more natural and authentic. While I personally would like to see more of their dynamic to see if they have romantic chemistry between them, it doesn't seem unnatural for them to possibly develop feelings for each other as their platonic and professional relationship grows.

Personally I think it depends on how the creators of the franchise write the pair's relationship dynamic. For example if they *do* have romantic feelings for each other and if their family (specifically Branch and Poppy) give them their blessing to be a couple then I don't see any reason why they *can't* be together.

Of course, if they love each other more like a brother and sister do and if they and their family find the idea of them dating to be too weird than they should by all means stay just friends.

So long as the relationship between Clay and Viva develops organically and isn't forced then I don't mind which direction they take the pair, whether romance blooms between them or they simply remain friends. I'm honestly open-minded.

@magicanimal-lovesart If Clay and Viva possibly do fall in love and marry other people I personally imagine Viva falling for someone from another troll from a different tribe while I imagine Clay possibly falling for a girl from his sad book club. It makes sense to me.
