G-MODE Archives+: Majin Tensei: Blind Thinker announced for Switch, PC
Gematsu Source
G-MODE will release ATLUS-developed RPG Majin Tensei: Blind Thinker as a G-MODE Archives+ title for Switch via Nintendo eShop and PC via Steam in Japan, the company announced. A release date was not announced.
Majin Tensei: Blind Thinker is a strategy RPG that originally launched for feature phones on July 11, 2007 in Japan.
Here is an overview of the game, via its Steam page:
About the Game
Set in the year 20XX in “NEO TOKYO,” a symbol of the new era. What is the “demon summoning program” left behind by the father who disappeared?
Majin Tensei is a simulation RPG released in 1994 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). The Gaiden that succeeded the world view of the Majin Tensei series, which was supported by many fans for its unique dark world view and challenging difficulty level, was Majin Tensei: Blind Thinker, distributed on feature phones at the time.
This work consists of “story parts” and “battle parts.” In “story parts,” the story progresses through dialogues between the protagonist, the characters surrounding him, and his opponents. When the player enters a battle, he enters the “battle part,” and if he wins the battle, he can proceed to the next chapter.
Commands include “Move,” “Attack,” “Magic” to heal friends and attack multiple enemies, as well as “Summon Demons,” “Negotiate with Demons (Conversation),” and “Combine Demons,” which are unique to the series.
The scenario adopts a multi-scenario approach that changes depending on the choices made during the game. Players can enjoy a new story each time they play. Furthermore, by fulfilling certain conditions, players can play through hidden scenarios, allowing them to play the game over and over again.
About G-MODE Archives
The G-MODE Archives is a reissue project that faithfully recreates old feature phone games as they were back then.
In order to enjoy the app as it was back then, the web-connected menu, buttons, and keys have been transplanted, but some of them may not work.
For more information on the Steam version, press START button and see the “How to play” in the OPTION menu.

Don't know how much you guys will care for it, but over at Youtube, a Youtuber by the name of Ice-Raptor has completed fantranslated playthroughs of Last Bible 1-3, Another Bible, Last Bible Special, and SMT Trading Card: Card Summoner, so you want to see any questions answered about these games, now's the perfect time to do so.
If it helps on when people ask you about obscure games in the SMT line, GameFAQs has a couple script translations for Ronde, BuffMaister has done playthroughs for Majin Tensei 1 + 2, and Seth Bop has done a playthrough for Giten Megami Tensei for you to look up answers when needed.
Thanks for looking out, but it would maybe be for the best if people simply didn't come to me for answers regarding games that I haven't played lol. Not that it happens very often, but I'm just no longer invested enough in the series to do independent research on titles that I consider too tedious to experience firsthand.
These are all fantastic resources, though, and the Giten playthrough seems especially valuable. I'll post the links below so that I can point back to this post as a potential resource; thanks for bringing them to my attention.
Ice-Raptor:
Another Bible
Last Bible Special
Card Summoner
Buffmaister:
Majin Tensei
Majin Tensei II: Spiral Nemesis
レトロゲーム部屋/Retro Game Room (Playlist compiled by Seth Bop):
Giten Megami Tensei
Ronde:

Game Script by staticnation
I am in awe of the fact there are two competing translations of the Ronde script.

The more I look at the the megami tensei universes, the more sure I am that every protag in there has Some Gender going on. Hell, the question isnt even Which Are anymore, it's which aren't.
Dead serious.
Haven't played or looked into some of the more obscure entries, but even then majin tensei is the only one I haven't looked at plot info or characters. Last Bible has something to do with good ol' Akemi "her transitioning might have saved the world, genderqueer with demonic neopronouns, or a very goth transmasc(jury's still out and presumed dead along with most other world populous)" Nakajima so there's Something there.
