in honor of that event maybe happening again what are your favorite atla and tlok couples for partner swapping and which haven’t you read before but would like to?

Hello! I'm so glad you're hoping for another event. From what it looks like, we'll be having a second Avatar March Madness!

You know, I actually hadn't thought about partner swapping at all until this ask, so you actually made me think on it! And that means I also haven't read any partner swapping fics (I went and looked, and it seems like there's only 1 tagged for this fandom...so maybe that needs to be fixed).

So after thinking on it, here's what I've come up with:

Predictably, Irosami. I HC that Asami is very into exhibitionism while I sometimes give Iroh a voyeur kink, so I think partner swapping is a step up from that for them. I think Bopal would be a fun swap with them.

For AtLA, you know I'm Zutara trash, so it has to be them. As for a fun partner swap, it's most likely JetLee.

My current OT3s are probably Makrohsami, Jetzulee (Jet/Azula/Ty Lee), and Jekotara.

Well, I just invented Chong/Ty Lee about ten minutes ago (apparently there are no fics??) so I'm gonna say ChongLee. And no one else ships it yet. Otherwise I'm pretty good at selling at least one or two people on my crackiest of crack. Maybe Tahno/Prince Wu just because I haven't written the fic yet? But I promise you'll love them.

V: Do you have any 3-way ships? If so, what?

Not as regular ships that only work as three ways. There's some cute Makrohsami out there though, and I'm very very proud of my one Korrohsami fic. I also put Wing Beifong in some... situations...

My favorite threesome is Iroh/Asami/Mangoes.

Endgame Makrohsami

So, I'm starting a tag game sort of thing for rarepairs and this will be the post for the Makrohsami story chain. Rules will be found here.

Mako let out a sigh as he put down his pen. Maybe it had been a bad idea, trying to diversify the genre he's been attempting to write, considering the fact that all the previous stories he's written were focused on either the supernatural or the horror genre. He had no experience writing love.

Scratch that, he had no experience in love altogether. And here he was, trying to write an organic love story, even though he was an aromantic person himself with just one failed relationship. Maybe his venture was sure to flop.

Unless... Unless he could find a couple and observe their relationship. If they wouldn't mind, of course. He wasn't that ignorant or insensitive to invade a person's privacy. But who will be willing?

OMG New Authors!!

It's been a banner month for Irosami, and I feel like acknowledging that. Since December 1st the fandom has added or updated 26 fics featuring Iroh II and Asami Sato as the/a primary pairing. Yes, some are by me. But amazingly, a lot aren't. And of those, I in particular want to call out a slate of authors who've only just ventured into this pairing.

I've therefore compiled a list of Irosami fics added since the beginning of December by authors who, to the best of my knowledge, have never written this ship. Please check these out and give them a little love - though note the ratings, as many are rather spicy.

Soo... It's been a year since I started writing LoK and well... I was planning on making a chain story for rarepairs with whoever is interested in joining. Also, this is the first time I'm trying to do something like this so hopefully, it will work out.

Rules:

1. Only one person must be tagged per reblog. Like, I'm all for tagging multiple people and gaining multiple stories but in the longer run (if it goes that long) it will be difficult to keep track of the reblog and the direction of the story.

2. If any NSFW is involved, it should be under the line and tagged properly.

3. People who are tagged but not interested in adding on can tag another person so that the chain doesn't break.

4. There's no particular theme but I do request to stick to the pairing that is mentioned in the beginning. Aka if it is a Makroh fic it shouldn't eventually turn into a past Makroh kinda thing.

5. People can be tagged multiple times but at the same time, make sure everyone who wants to participate gets a chance.

6. I know some may not like long reblog so I'll also make a post where I link the posts and the person who wrote said post for easier access.

7. I have ideas for Makrohsami, Makroh, Makopal, Huko, Bumizumi and Irosami at this moment and I will let out the ideas like 2 or 3 per week depending on the time I have. I will also add other rarepairs if requested.

Asami

Sexuality HC: Bi. Asami's not eliminating options.

Favorite ship(s): Asami and General Iroh. I've also seen some rather cute Tahno/Asami, and the Makrohsami stuff is adorable.

Brotp: I love Asami and Korra as friends. In worlds they are not a couple I also think Asami and Iroh would be good friends.

Notp: Asami x Varrick. Like what the actual f, she hates him.

Happy HC: Asami never lives in the Sato mansion again. Instead, she later turns it into a girls' school for science and technology.

Angsty HC: Asami spent years driving to the parking lot of Republic City prison but not going in.

Random HC: She loves pistachio ice cream and is totally the kind of person who eats it by herself when she's sad.

General opinion: Asami is one of my favorite characters. She's tough and smart and a good person, and pushes through a lot of her own crap to do the right thing. She worms her way into almost every fic I write, even if it's not about her at all, just like "hi, didn't you want me in this?"
