I misread "manticore" in someone's blog post as one of those "[noun]core" things, and I spent half a second wondering if it was, like, a typo of "mantis-core" or something.

Jujitsu tech- some sort of highschool (??)

Satoru Gojo is from the Gojo clan which is super strict and full of old jerks mostly;

Yey parental issues and childhood trauma!

Infinity is some sort of protective technique that Satoru can only drop if he feels 100% safe

“Six eyes” in some sort of technique that allows him to see movement way more clearly and in a different frame rate than everyone else; eye coverings help with over stimulation

He can teleport (???)

Gojo has two friends, one is a workaholic doctor lady who could probably kill someone with a straight face. Blunt and to the point. His other friend is dark haired and similar but a more of a warrior and from a fancy family instead. I get the feeling that the medic friend also fights. They went to school together.

Curses are the evil magic monster shape things of this world and the warrior/ninjas that fight them are called sorcerers.

Sometimes curses take special shapes depending on whos fighting them and the situation.

Gojo fought Suguru at one point; I don’t know who that it is (one of the friends maybe?) but it was very emotional.

There are children called Megumi and Tsumiki but they don’t seem important (to this story at least)

Thought and impressions of the fic as a whole:

Generally I’m not a huge fan of oc characters so I don’t read a lot of those, so in that regard I don’t have a lot to compare Misai to. That being said- I liked her! Some points confused me, particularly the last/most recently updated chapter but overall I enjoyed it!

It was a lot of domestic fluff and the main couple (Gojo and Misai) being extra about each other which was fun to read.

I’m curious as to where the author takes the story and I wish them all the best with it!
