Stardew Valley x Warriors Crossover AU [part 1]

Yeah. Because, why not? Let's dive into it!

ᅠCinderclan (after Cindersap Forest) is an ancient cats' settlement in a rich forest, bordering the Rumbleclan (after Thunderpaths in Zuzu City) near the rock town of the twolegs, and several other clans. It is also surrounded by neutral territories of loners and vagabonds. ᅠUnfortunately, Cinderclan has been in decline for the last many moons. The camp is long overgrown, there are hardly any cats left, and no one is particularly interested in keeping the place alive. Cats come and go, leaving no legacy behind. ᅠThe last clan leader, Pelicanstar (Lewis), seems to have even begun to forget about praying to the Starclan. It seems to the cats that even the ancestors are no longer interested in watching the decline of the ancient place of many moons history. ᅠSometimes desperate loners come to the clan, and other days even the cats of the Rumbleclan, tired of twolegs' presence, escape into the wilderness to start life anew. Yes, it's harsh and cold here, but it's better than living in constant fear of being killed on the Thunderpath. Pelicanstar welcomes everyone, hoping that one day the clan will return to normal. ᅠBut hope comes out of nowhere. Young medicine cat apprentice, Skyeye (Maru), runs into her mentor, Herbwing (Harvey), one night with real terror in her eyes.

When they (farmers) come, the whole world will come after them. ᅠThe prophecy terrified the little apprentice, and even the adult cats were unable to interpret it. The only thing left to do was to keep silent in front of the rest of the clan and hope that the huge furry ancestor had come to them with good intentions.

ᅠSunstorm (Sam) — young mischievous warrior who really knows how to have fun. He is altruistic, willing to help, but also willing to destroy everything around him, rattle and seek risks in his life. More often than anyone else, he gets punished, and there was even talk of cancelling his initiation as a warrior… ᅠᅠ— Sun: for his bright golden fur and sunny personality; ᅠᅠ— Storm: RUSH AND BREAK AND ROCK AND SING. ᅠMother: Softpaw (Jodi) ᅠFather: Hawkeye (Kent) ᅠBrother: Lightkit (Vincent) ᅠᅠ— Later as Lightstorm after brother.

ᅠHerbwing (Harvey) — the beloved medicine cat of Cinderclan, who once dreamed of becoming a warrior, but realised that Starclan had prepared a different fate for him. He is assertive, determined, and incredibly kind to the other clan cats. ᅠᅠ— Herb: medicine... and fresh green eyes; ᅠᅠ— Wing: he dreamed of planes but was afraid of heights.

ᅠHopberry (Shane) — skilled warrior that the clan doesn't even seem to know about. He doesn't show up at meetings, he's always missing, and he doesn't take part in the clan's life. Although someone spread rumors about his unique fighting skills… ᅠᅠ— Hop: i couldn't name a cat as beerkit or smth; ᅠᅠ— Berry: soft side. ᅠParents: unknown ᅠAunt: Wheatmuzzle (Marnie) ᅠGoddaugther: Rosekit (Jas)

ᅠWavemane(Elliott) — elegant warrior who likes to spend time away from camp. He is poetic and beautiful in his statements, sometimes even helping to interpret omens. He remembers the history of the clan and preserves it. ᅠᅠ— Wave: the beauty of the ocean; ᅠᅠ— Mane: the beauty of his hair.

-our deputy poppymouse died, leaving his mate cliffgrass alone again.

-cliffgrass also retired, leaving mapleheart as the main med cat now.

-speaking of mapleheart, she transitioned into a girl while her apprentice, ruepaw, came out as nonbinary!!

-ivyhaze has been "wishing she could slaughter everyone she dislikes". also she was previously with waterblaze, but they broke up.

-one of ivyhaze's kits, vixenbrook, was mysteriously murdered. but surely the fact that ivyhaze liked her other kit, blackgrove, a considerable amount more has nothing to do with it... right?

-we've also had a few cats just show up with litters of kits, like ghostflash, oatnibble, and almondfawn.

-speaking of ghostflash, he and yewdazzle are gay and together now <3

Uhhhh shameless self promo

I finally started my fanfic for Mapleheart (my warriorsona) w/ my bf's OC from a server we're in as a Secondary main character. It involves my two fanclans, FallClan and KingfisherClan. Mapleheart is in KingfisherClan and Troutsplash is in FallClan. FallClan is in danger of being destroyed by one (1) angry apprentice (will age as the story progresses) whom also wants to take out KingfisherClan. Mapleheart and Troutsplash have to Stop Her. I gave Mapleheart several of my struggles, and there's an event that i'm on the fence about. Advance TW for Eating Disorders and Physical/Mental child abuse, and parent death (again, all of these are things i've experienced/struggled with). If i do decide to include the Event that i'm wary about, i'll also update the tags to include the trigger warning for that. Anyways, here's my Self-insert bullshit. Falling Maples - AO3

OwlSky stood up, she could hear an exchange between two cats.

MapleHeart?  She wasn’t sure who the other cat was, her heart dropped at the thought that she could be in danger, MapleHeart could be in danger.

If he hurts her, he’s crow-food.

The argued ended, the camp was quiet again.

She went to the back of the den and curled up, tucking her nose underneath her tail. She felt miserable.

She listened to the argument, feeling the warmth of the day slowly fade. 

“OwlSky? Are you okay?” MapleHeart’s small mew came from the outside “I smell blood…”

OwlSky huffed in amusement “just a few scratches..it doesn’t matter” she muttered “when’s OwlStar getting here?”

There was no response.

“MapleHeart?” She lifted her head.

To her dismay both MapleHeart and KestrelFeather padded into the den, OwlSky felt a jab in her heart at seeing the she-cat “what is she doing here?!” She growled “I said I was fine!” 

“She’s here to help” MapleHeart gave her a sympathetic look “don’t worry, she won’t poison you” she chuckled.

OwlSky shrank against the wall of the den “I can’t..she can’t, no, she is not coming anywhere near me!”

“Calm down, I don’t bite” KestrelFeather mumbled around her herbs.

I can’t, this isn’t right, why did I do this? Is she mad at me? 

KestrelFeather sat down next to OwlSky “just relax, it’ll make it easier for both of us” she sniffed the wound then lifted her head “you can leave us, MapleHeart, we’re fine”

OwlSky stared at KestrelFeather as MapleHeart left the den, all the things she wanted to say to this she-cat just left her mind to be replaced by moons of guilt and grief for what she had done.

“I am to understand SnakeTooth did this, yes?” The medicine asked in a monotoned voice.

“Y-yes” OwlSky gulped.

KestrelFeather put the poultice on her scratches in silence, she didn’t seem mad, she didn’t seem to have any emotion toward her at the moment.

“KestrelFeather..I’m sorry” OwlSky sighed “I was just fallowing orders, I didn’t enjoy..what I did to you”

KestrelFeather stayed silent though her facade faltered for just a moment.

“And not a day has gone by that I don’t think of it” she braved herself for anger.

“You feel sorry for me, don’t you?” KestrelFeather questioned.

“Y-“

“-Don’t, my life hasn’t been ruined like you think it might’ve been. Yes I miss some parts of being a warrior and yes I did want to try to have kits again” she looked grief stricken at the mention of kits though her voice remained unchanged “I am happy as a medicine cat, I am happy with my life for what it is”

OwlSky looked at her “I still shouldn’t have attacked you..”

“I forgive you, I forgave you many seasons ago. I’ve noticed things about you and you don’t deserve to be hated” 

“Were you ever mad?” OwlSky smiled a little, she was relieved KestrelFeather wasn’t mad.

KestrelFeather chuckled, it was a truly amused sound “of course I was! I was a young warrior who had my whole life ahead of me! I could’ve had more kits, I could’ve gotten a new mate” she continued speaking with a small smile “but I am happy, I have an apprentice who’s devoted to his duty, I have opportunities to visit a friend sometimes..my life is good”

OwlSky sighed “you’re an inspiring she-cat, you know?”

“Do I inspire you to be a better cat?”

“I suppose you do” OwlSky tried to bring back her usual self.

KestrelFeather nudged three poppy seeds toward OwlSky, she gladly lapped them up.

KestrelFeather sighed “well, just have MapleHeart fetch me if you need anything” the medicine cat rose to her paws and left the den.

Health update

Feathertail, A Riverclan warrior was escorted into camp limping something was wrong in Riverclan the river was poisoning them and Stonestar was gone the deputy lead Riverclan to Skyclan to take shelter.

( she is still silverstream's kit but silverstream had a skyclan mate and she lived) Once she is feeling better she will join back with her clan

Leafsplash woke up to a nightmare of a wave of Twoleg monsters destroying the forest and when brought to the medicine cats they try going to brightstar but she wasn't responding not until Leafsplash told her of her dreams

Brightstar sent her fastest warriors to go and send news of the prophecy and the dream as well as news of Riverclan now as she was not able to push off any longer.

Mistlestripe tried to go to Mapleheart's dreams but was blocked by darkness and tried Sootleaf and was able to walk and had gave them the prophecy and that they were the a choosen cat but the other has been too far loss so they will search for a new cat to be on a journey for the clans new home

Story: 

Applecreek was a normal cat for most of his life. He was a skilled tracker with a keen knack for sniffing out plants. He had a fondness for the fruit he was named after in particular, and even figured out how to grow apple trees. He was a good son, a good brother, a good apprentice, and a devoted friend. Maybe a little too devoted of a friend.

Applecreek, Liondust, Kestrelwhisper, and Cedarmoon had been as thick as thieves from the ripe age of one moon old. They were almost never seen apart, and they only seemed to grow closer as they grew older. This was especially true for Applecreek, who eventually developed crushes on his three friends-- crushes that were incredibly obvious to every cat in all five Clans except for the actual objects of Applecreek's affection. 

He tried so hard to show them his true feelings. The idea of growing apple trees originally came about as an idea to impress them. Again and again, Applecreek tried to show how he felt, with almost no success.

These hapless attempts of trying to impress Liondust, Kestrelwhisper, and Cedarmoon often came at the expense of their Clanmates, who Applecreek would prank in hopes of seeing his friends laugh. Most of the time, it was brushed off, as the targeted Clanmate simply stared at Applecreek with pity and sympathy. 

But with how hard Applecreek tried, he was bound to go too far eventually.

Liondust, Kestrelwhisper, and Cedarmoon had been complaining about Sparrowthroat and Seedclaw, two older warriors, constantly interrupting all of their games. Naturally, Applecreek felt that the perfect solution to this was a good old prank. Maybe this would be the one that got his friends to notice him!

He knew apple seeds were quite bitter, so he tore down all of the fruit he had grown that season, tore out their seeds, and stuffed as many seeds as he could in as many pieces of fresh-kill as possible. Sparrowthroat and Seedclaw were bound to eat at least one, and the disgusted expressions on their faces as they tried to remove the taste of the seeds from their mouths would be priceless!

Applecreek went to sleep that night feeling excited about tomorrow. He woke up the next morning to the sound of multiple cats throwing up just outside of the warriors' den. Snickering, he stepped outside to see Sparrowthroat and Seedclaw's reactions... only to see that it wasn't them vomiting. 

It was Liondust, Kestrelwhisper, and Cedarmoon. Sparrowthroat and Seedclaw were instead lying in the middle of camp, vomit caking their mouths, their eyes glazed over, and their families sobbing over their lifeless corpses.

Horrified, Applecreek guided his friends into the medicine den. But it was too late. Liondust, Kestrelwhisper, and Cedarmoon soon began having violent seizures, and in mere minute-long intervals, they passed away one by one.

Applecreek had only just let out his caterwaul of pure grief when unsheathed claws cuffed his shoulder. He whirled around to see the deputy--Sparrowthroat-- and Seedclaw's sister, Hawkbush, her teeth bared and her face tearstained. She screamed that Applecreek was a murderer, that she should kill him right there and then.

The only reason why Hawkbush didn't kill Applecreek right then and there was the timely intervention of the leader, Wheatstar. Wheatstar did, however, sadly inform Applecreek that he would have to be exiled. He knew that Applecreek hadn't meant any real harm, but the harm he had done would almost certainly bring doom to nearly half of the Clan. 

When Applecreek demanded to know what Wheatstar meant by that, the leader flicked his tail outside of the medicine den. Poking his head out, Applecreek saw almost all of the senior warriors and even a few of the elders staggering around shakily, vomiting, clutching their heads in pain, panting, and overall suffering... suffering because of him.

Applecreek didn't need to be told twice. He ran out of camp and never looked back. He spent the rest of his life a wandering loner. Other loners, rogues, and kittypets spoke in hushed whispers of the cat they called Johnny Appleseed, of how he did his best to spread seeds throughout the land, but strangely avoided apples and apple trees.

More than that, they spoke of the way he always seemed to be crying, how he always seemed to be muttering the names "Liondust, Kestrelwhisper, Cedarmoon" under his breath over and over, and how, when threatened, he always just stood there, as if waiting for them to give him what he deserved. 

He did this even as the apple branch splintered off of the tree, falling down and cleaving right through his neck.

--As you can tell by the last paragraph, this guy is loosely based on the folklore tale of Johnny Appleseed!

--The other cats that fell victim to apple seed-induced cyanide poisoning were cured by the combined efforts of all of the medicine cats, hence why Applecreek only has five murders under his belt.

--I feel like this guy would be besties with Fleathistle and Fadingstar for obvious reasons, lol

--With the deaths of Sparrowthroat and Seedclaw, Hawkbush is the only surviving kit of Snailstar. Snailstar and their family just keep going through it, huh?

--Hawkbush does eventually become Hawkstar, though! So that's a plus :D
