Guess what I did this weekend?? Had an incredible ‘in real life’ visit with the one and only @fyeahvulnerablemen !! We got to meet up here in very snowy Michigan and had a winter wonderland good time. She is as incredible in person as she is on Tumblr. I’m so blessed to have found such wonderful and lasting friendships through this community :)

alter death can happen. no, it doesn't occur in a literal way. but it can absolutely occur in an emotional way, since headspaces can be quite symbolic. saying that alters can't technically die to someone who is clearly upset isn't always going to help them feel better. in various cases, it makes them feel worse and that they're not being listened to.

BG3 has two of the most thoughtful, unapologetic, no holds barred depictions of men with abusive female partners I've every seen (Wyll + Mizora and Gale + Mystra), which is so rare to see in any media but especially video games, and some of the Larian writers seem determined to convince me it was 100% by accident
