I really enjoyed Gambit and Felicia Hardy offhandedly breaking up a TERF rally at New Orleans Pride.
Like that's not even the focus of the story, it's just a quick few panels as they discuss Felicia's love life, but it's a fun moment.

My smol piece:
Mystique and Destiny receive some pre-marriage psychic counseling courtesy of Emma Frost! See how the inspiring love of two former villains holds up against a telepathic onslaught of hard truths in this twisty tale by writer Yoon Ha Lee (Ninefox Gambit, Machineries of Empire) in his exciting Marvel Comics debut alongside acclaimed artist Stephen Byrne.

Thoughts on Marvel Pride This Year:
Where is Rictor. Where is Shatterstar. Where are Benji and Nathaniel and Bling.
I'm excited though that it feels like it's going to have more continuity to it than in the previous years
It does honestly feel like they're reusing a mostly white cast for each issue every year, I love Wiccan and Hulkling but they already have so much space in the marvel universe as probably the most prominent canon queer couple, while there are many characters out there who still barely have a chance to shine, and I think they really need this to give them a little boost in popularity methinks, which will hopefully lead to more content for them outside of marvel pride
I don't like that they keep creating more characters instead of giving characters that barely get a chance to shine, or were only coded back in the day, a chance in their issues. That's what I liked abt Venomm and Taku in the 2022's issue (Though I do love Somnus and Shela and Morgan dont get me wrong... this is just an irritation I have)
I think Noh Varr and Hercules are adorable but they deserve their own comic, because the only time we see them is in Marvel Pride, it just starts to feel like fanfiction to me. Idk!
I had kind of been hoping that they were going to include Rachel and Betsy this year, because even though they have kissed on panel and are dating now, neither of them have talked about their sexualities or "come out" really, no one even acknowledges their relationship either, as if they weren't surprised that either of them were queer, or they did but they're just not showing us.
Also why do we keep seeing Loki each year but never getting anything with him that actually really talks about his queerness? The only acknowledgement is just "oh he has a bunch of male exes, see?"
This is just from the little announcement they made so far, so there's still hope, I guess.

First looks at Gwenpool in Marvel’s Voices: Pride 2023!
Tumblr media
For Marvel’s annual Pride anthology, Gwenpool will star in the story “Everything’s Coming Up Aces”, by aroace creator Marieke Nijkamp, Pablo Collar, and Michael Wiggam.
Tumblr media
Yes, that is Gwenpool wearing an aromantic asexual flag! We love to see it!
“I love Gwen for her wonderful meta chaos, and getting to write an aroace super hero as an aroace writer is truly magical. These are the types of stories that make readers feel seen, and it's more important than ever to have such an amazing celebration of proudly queer and trans heroes and unflinching joy!” -Marieke Nijkamp
Tumblr media
Gwenpool is also featured in this Marvel’s Voices: Pride variant cover by Jan Bazaldua & Tamra Bonvillain.
Marvel’s Voices: Pride is out June 14th.
