The Ultimate Guide to Finding the Best Furniture Stores Near You
When it comes to decorating your home, finding the right furniture can make all the difference. Whether you're on the hunt for stylish bedroom furniture, comfortable living room pieces, or a durable bed frame, the options can seem overwhelming. However, knowing where to shop and what to look for can simplify the process. This guide will help you navigate through the best furniture stores near you, from budget-friendly outlets to high-end showrooms, ensuring that you find exactly what you need for every room in your home.
Why Shopping at Local Furniture Stores is Beneficial
Shopping at furniture stores near you has several advantages. Firstly, you can physically inspect the furniture, ensuring the quality meets your expectations. Secondly, local stores often offer personalized customer service, helping you make the right choices for your space. Finally, purchasing from nearby stores can reduce delivery times and costs, allowing you to enjoy your new furniture sooner.
Finding the Best Furniture Stores Near Me
When searching for the best furniture stores near you, consider these factors:
Variety of Products: A good furniture store should offer a wide range of products. This includes everything from bedroom furniture like beds, dressers, and nightstands to living room furniture such as sofas, coffee tables, and entertainment centers.
Quality and Durability: Invest in furniture that is built to last. Check the materials used, the craftsmanship, and any warranties offered by the store.
Pricing and Discounts: Look for stores that offer competitive pricing. Many furniture stores have regular sales, and it's worth waiting for these events to get the best deals.
Customer Reviews: Before making a purchase, read customer reviews online. This can provide insight into the store's customer service, product quality, and delivery process.
Bedroom Furniture: Creating Your Sanctuary
The bedroom is your personal retreat, so it's essential to choose furniture that promotes relaxation and comfort.
Beds for Sale: Whether you're looking for a queen bed, a king-sized bed, or a cozy double bed, finding the right bed is crucial. Consider the size of your room and your comfort needs. Many furniture stores near you will offer beds for sale in various styles, from modern to traditional.
Mattress Sales: A good mattress is just as important as the bed frame. Look for stores that have ongoing mattress sales, as this can be a great opportunity to upgrade your sleep experience without breaking the bank.
Bed Frame Sale: Bed frames come in different materials, including wood, metal, and upholstered options. During a bed frame sale, you can often find high-quality frames at discounted prices.
Bedroom Furniture Stores: Specialized bedroom furniture stores focus on creating cohesive and stylish bedroom sets. These stores offer everything from beds to dressers and nightstands, making it easy to furnish your entire room.
Living Room Furniture: The Heart of Your Home
Your living room is where you entertain guests, relax after a long day, and spend quality time with family. The furniture you choose should reflect your lifestyle and personal taste.
Sofa Shops: Sofas are the centerpiece of any living room. When browsing sofa shops, consider the size of your space, the number of seats you need, and the type of fabric that best suits your lifestyle. Leather sofas, for example, are durable and easy to clean, while fabric sofas offer a wider range of colors and patterns.
Sofa Bed Sale: If you often have guests staying over, a sofa bed can be a practical addition to your living room. During a sofa bed sale, you can find stylish and comfortable options that double as a guest bed.
Living Room Furniture: In addition to sofas, consider other essential living room furniture pieces like coffee tables, TV stands, and bookshelves. Look for a cohesive style that ties the room together.
Leather Sofas for Sale: Leather sofas add a touch of luxury to your living room. They are durable, stylish, and available in various colors. Many stores offer leather sofas for sale, especially during seasonal promotions.
Furniture Sales and Outlets: Where to Find the Best Deals
Everyone loves a good deal, and furniture sales are the perfect opportunity to upgrade your home without spending a fortune.
Furniture Sale: Keep an eye out for furniture sales throughout the year. Many stores have clearance events, seasonal sales, or holiday promotions where you can score significant discounts on high-quality furniture.
Furniture Outlet: Furniture outlets are another excellent option for finding deals. These stores often sell overstocked items, discontinued lines, or slightly imperfect pieces at reduced prices. A furniture outlet near you can be a treasure trove of bargains.
Discount Furniture Stores Near Me: Discount furniture stores cater to budget-conscious shoppers. While the prices are lower, you can still find stylish and durable pieces. It's a good idea to visit several discount furniture stores near you to compare prices and selection.
Beds and Sofas: Finding the Perfect Match
When it comes to choosing beds and sofas, there are a few key considerations to keep in mind.
Buy Bed: When buying a bed, think about your specific needs. Do you need extra storage? Consider a bed with built-in drawers. Prefer a minimalist look? A platform bed might be your best bet. The key is to find a bed that fits your style, space, and comfort requirements.
Queen Beds for Sale: Queen beds are a popular choice because they offer ample space without taking up too much room. Look for queen beds for sale in stores near you, especially during major sales events.
Cheap Beds for Sale: If you're on a budget, cheap beds for sale can be a great option. However, make sure that you're not compromising on quality. Even budget-friendly beds should be sturdy and comfortable.
Cheap Sofas for Sale: Like beds, sofas can vary widely in price. Cheap sofas for sale can be a smart purchase if you know where to look. Visit multiple stores to compare prices, and don't forget to check the clearance section.
Furniture Stores Near Me: Convenience and Selection
Finding furniture stores near you that offer a wide selection is crucial for making the shopping process easier.
Furniture Shop Near Me: Local furniture shops often have unique pieces that you won't find in larger chains. These shops are also more likely to offer personalized service and advice.
Sofa Shops Near Me: When looking for sofas, it's worth visiting several sofa shops near you. Each store will have different styles, fabrics, and price points, so take your time to find the perfect one.
Bed Shops Near Me: Bed shops near you will have a range of beds, from traditional to contemporary styles. Visiting these shops in person allows you to test the beds for comfort and quality.
Second Hand Furniture: A Sustainable Choice
Second-hand furniture is an excellent option for those looking to save money or find unique pieces with character.
Second Hand Furniture Near Me: Many second-hand furniture stores near you offer a wide variety of items, from vintage finds to modern pieces. Shopping second-hand is also an environmentally friendly choice, as it reduces waste and the demand for new resources.
Cheap Furniture Stores Near Me: Cheap furniture stores often have a mix of new and second-hand items. These stores are perfect for budget-conscious shoppers looking to furnish their homes without spending a fortune.
Specialty Furniture: Beds for Babies and More
Don't forget about specialty furniture, like baby beds, when furnishing your home.
Baby Beds: If you're expecting a little one, finding the right baby bed is essential. Look for stores that specialize in nursery furniture, offering a range of cribs, changing tables, and other essentials.
Room Furniture: Room furniture isn't just about the big pieces like beds and sofas. Consider smaller items like nightstands, lamps, and rugs that complete the look of a room. Many furniture stores near you will have a range of accessories to choose from.

Whether you need a ‘soft’ or ‘firm’ mattress will ultimately depend on your budget, body and personal preferences. Additionally, mattress firmness is often linked to pricing and performance factors like pressure relief and durability. Due to the different level of firmness, a variety of mattresses is available. Sealy has the Best luxury mattress available at their showroom.
I was looking for the mattress showroom near me when I got my apartment. Then I come to know about Sealy from my friends. That time I don’t have any idea about the showroom. But when I visited it, I was amazed by the number of options available as per our requirement there. There I found the best match for the mattress I needed as per my comfort. After that, I always recommend Sealy to everyone.
Getting sleep depends on various factors such as comfort, stress level and room temperature. But the basic factor to get quality sleep is a luxury mattress which is the building block for restful sleep. Sealy has the collection of Best luxury mattress available that will complement your comfort really well.
People with below average weight may feel more comfortable in low firmness mattress as a mattress which is a firm may feel uncomfortable to them for pressure relief. On the other hand, the people who have more weight may feel like they are sinking if they sleep on the low firmness mattress and they would like to have high firmness settings. All these requirements are taken care of by Sealy where the firmness level is adjusted for both types of people. They have done various researches in order to get the best outcome which will be beneficial for people. You will never regret after buying Sealy mattresses that too at reasonable price.
Most of the mattresses tend to have a very strong and long lasting order which make it impossible to get good quality sleep on such mattresses.  This is always the major complaint from the customers. But this is not the case for Sealy. Sealy found out that this smell is caused due to the foam which is used while manufacturing mattress. So they looked for the best solutions to provide the odour free mattress and they really made it. Customers buying Sealy never complained about odour related issues ever.

Love Is A Poor Man’s Food
Tumblr media
pairing: Miya Atsumu x Reader
summary: you and your boyfriend shop at Ikea for furniture for your new apartment
wc: 1.5k
genre: fluff
a/n: this is just the teensiest, tiniest bit rushed and unedited. The idea came to mind and I wrote it down as best I could while it was still in mind. And I’m posting this at midnight so I’m tired and don’t wanna edit,,, okay now enjoy
Tumblr media
You flop down onto the mattress with a sigh. Today has consisted of non-stop walking and your toes are aching against the hard soles of the shoes that are just a little too small for you. Atsumu follows suit beside you, sitting on the edge of the bed, bouncing a little in his spot.
“A lil too soft dontcha think?” He glances over to you with your eyes gently shut and your arms splayed out across the bare mattress. Atsumu brushes a loose strand of hair out of your face with a chuckle. “Tired?” You can only hum in response.
“This one’s comfy,” you quietly let out. He lies down beside you after lifting your arm up to make space for himself and then toying with the tips of your fingers as he stares at the ceiling.
“Ya like this one more than the first?”
“Definitely. What do you think?” You softly turn your head to see your boyfriend already staring at you.
What does he think? He thinks that you’re so beautiful and you don’t even realize it, even in the brightly lit Ikea show rooms. He thinks to himself I can’t wait to wake up to this every morning.
“Let’s get it,” he smiles, lifting himself off the bare mattress and helping you along with him. As you stand up, he wraps his arms around your shoulder, pressing his lips into your hair. He likes that he can faintly smell his own body wash on you. You write down the name of the mattress in your notes app and keep on pressing forward, following the yellow and blue arrows on the ground leading you through the showrooms of Ikea.
Despite living off-campus being a lot more expensive, the two of you just couldn’t turn down the opportunity when a classmate’s aunt was looking for new tenants for a 1 bedroom apartment near campus. The worn out apartment was almost always damp and smelled faintly of mildew and asbestos; and the bathroom was hilariously small (the door couldn’t fully swing open without hitting the toilet), but it was affordable, and you both agreed that you’d be happy living together no matter where.
Browsing the bathroom section for toiletry holders, the two of you stand in front of a sink and mirror similarly sized as the one back at your new apartment. The two of you barely fit within the frame, standing shoulder to shoulder. But you couldn’t help but feel giddy at the thought of getting ready in the morning together.
When he first started dating you, he sometimes caught you in the dorm washrooms brushing your teeth. He liked to take the sink beside you without a word and silently accompanied you as you did your skincare routine. Sometimes he’d lean over to kiss you with foamy toothpaste slathered across his lips, his arm slinking around your waist to pull you into his chest and it’d make you cringe with an embarrassingly loud giggle. Your laugh was the most beautiful thing in those early mornings. And now that you had your own place, he could kiss you, hug you, and make you laugh every morning. He could kiss you for as long as he wanted without having to worry about other people walking in. He could sneak into bed with you without worrying about the dorm supervisors catching him. He could have you all to himself.
“What ‘bout this one?” Atsumu sits down on a brown leather sofa, outstretching his arms atop of the headrest.
“Leather?”
“What’s wrong with leather?”
“It’s just a bit cold,” you plop down next to him and his arm instinctively wraps around your shoulder. Your head finds its place in the crook of his neck and his head on top of yours.
“You’ll have me ta keep ya warm,” Atsumu playfully rubs your shoulder and plants a chaste kiss to your forehead. “Plus, it’s easier ta clean.”
“Leather is pretty cool I guess,” you massage the material of the armrest, your fingers finding the price tag that dangles off the other side. “$4,700.”
“Holy shit, actually?!” Atsumu immediately stands up from the couch, dusting the spot he was just sitting on.
“It is a really nice couch,” you get up to eye the sofa, “maybe we should just buy it.” You lean into his side, wrapping your arms around his waist in hopes of soothing the scowl on his face.
“Baby,” he gives a sweet but pained smile, “I don’t think we can afford it.”
You were both college students after all, and sure Atsumu may have been there on a volleyball scholarship but you had taken out thousands of dollars worth of loans to make sure you could afford your education. On top of that, the two of you were renting an apartment downtown, even if it was from a family member of a friend it was still expensive. There were times where you had to scramble enough money together to buy bus tickets to visit home. Times when Atsumu slapped duck tape to the soles of his volleyball shoes because new ones were just too expensive. There were times you were terrified at the prospect of having to drop out because you couldn’t afford your tuition payments. And there’d be times you’d have to walk two hours across the city because you couldn’t afford public transit. But still, somehow the two of you always made it work.
Like one night, instead of taking the bus, the two of you used the one hour walk back to your dormitories to run through the high-end shopping district, pulling each other into fancy boutiques and forcing each other to wear the most outrageously expensive things you could find. You’d laugh and whisper to each other about the dirty looks the sales associates would throw at you and he would hype you up in everything you tried on. Atsumu had nuzzled his nose into the crook of your neck as you stood in front of the mirror with a slick, black, floor-length dress on. Your back and shoulders exposed for his soft lips to roam in the privacy of the dressing room.
Yer so beautiful. I’ll buy this fer ya, one day.
“I’ll buy it for us,” you say, pulling out your phone to write down the name of the leather sofa. “I have some savings from my summer job.”
“Baby, no. Don’t be ridiculous, we can probably buy something second hand.” Atsumu attempts to make you put your phone down but you only swat his hands away. “A futon! We can get a futon. ‘S a bed and a couch in one. We save money and space!”
You laugh as you push his hands away. “You wanna have sex on a futon?”
Atsumu grabs both of your wrists, pulling them close to his chest. “Hey, I’ll have sex with ya anywhere!”
“Tsumu sshh!” You hush him with a giggle, looking around to see if anyone heard Atsumu’s loud declaration.
“It’s too expensive. Save yer money fer somethin’ ya love.” His eyes are so gentle while he holds your hands to his chest.
“I love you. And I want us to have a couch you love.”
“Alright, how ‘bout ya write down the name, ‘n we can decide later, hm?” You nod your head and he flashes you a playful smile as he pulls both you and your cart along.
Both of you stand behind the handlebar of the cart as you walk in sync through the aisles of the Ikea showrooms. His hand likes to find yours and intertwine your fingers with his; he likes to keep yours on top cause from time to time he’ll lift your hand to his lips and gently kiss your knuckles. It’s a habit he’s developed; he does it everywhere, anytime. The first time he did it was in bed late one night, he had lifted your hand gently to his lips and whispered my angel deserves to be worshipped.
“Smell this,” you hold out a candle for him to sniff and he does so cautiously.
“It smells exactly like Kita-san,” he says with wide eyes.
“Right?!” You take another whiff and look down in contemplation. “Should we get it?”
“I feel like that’s creepy. What if he visits us someday?” He says with a wide smile. You doubt that more than two people can fit into your cramped little apartment. If you ever did have guests someone would have to sit awkwardly on the floor.
“He’ll feel right at home!” You defend, placing two of them into the cart. “They’re also on sale.” Atsumu looks back at the display shelf you picked the candle up from.
“That’s a nice bookshelf.” He runs his fingers along the wood. “We probably have space fer somethin’ like this in the livin’ room.”
“You think it’s too big though? I don’t think we own enough stuff to fill these shelves.”
“I’ll win enough trophies ta fill ‘em.”
“You’re gonna put your tacky college volleyball trophies in our living room?” Atsumu feigns a hurt face in response to your laughter.
“Yeah, keep callin’ ‘em tacky. When I win my olympic medal, I’m gonna put it right ‘ere.” He gestures to the larger cubby in the centre of the shelf.
“If you win the Olympics, we can buy furniture from somewhere other than Ikea.”
Atsumu pulls you into a tight hug. “I promise, baby. When I go pro, we’re gonna have all the money in the world. You and me. And I’m gonna give ya everythin’ ya ever wanted. I’ll buy a nice big apartment fer us. We can go eat somewhere fancy. I’ll buy you that dress ya like. Yer never gonna have ta worry ‘bout money again.”
The thought of a lavish life with no money problems and beautiful clothes did entice you, but when you felt Atsumu’s arms around you in that moment you thought to yourself, you’d be happy anywhere, doing anything, as long as you were with him. Who needed money anyway? Isn’t there a saying like ‘love is a poor man’s food’? As long as you had Atsumu, all your fundamental human needs were satiated. He was more than enough to keep you breathing and happy. You were more warmed by the conviction in his words; he spoke with so much certainty that you’d be always a part of his life, and that’s all you could ask for.
Rich or poor, Atsumu had your heart, and he held onto it so tenderly you’d give every last dime you had to have him hold you forever.

3 D 💜💜
HAHAHAHA ok so D is me posting the whole goddamn mess, but I’ll share the first POV in case other people request this. This is a fic inspired by that viral story about people getting locked into an IKEA. Posting under the break.
Simon
“We can’t let them go out in this,” I whisper to Penny, my eyes on the customers gathered beside us, watching the blizzard roll in through the floor-to-ceiling windows at the store’s front.
There’s a look on Penny’s face like she’s already assumed as much. Snow drifts have nearly covered the vehicles in our car park. Even if we started shoveling now, the wind’s blowing so strongly I expect whatever we manage to remove will instantly be replaced threefold.
“I’ll get Corporate on the phone,” she nods, then leaves off to beg permission.
In the meantime, I start to prepare.
Hot chocolate, check. Family-friendly film, check. No need to prepare beds, I chuckle to myself, looking around the mattress showroom. If anything, we have too many for the nearly ten or so customers unlucky enough to be stranded during the weirdest freak blizzard of my life.
“Will the power hold, do you think?” A voice calls over my left shoulder.
I turn to see a young mother and her toddler-aged daughter. “Yeah,” I smile, hoping they don’t see the cracks of worry forming behind it. With a quick side-to-side search, I find what I’m looking for. I reach into the nearby bin of plushies and pull out a red dragon. “Here,” I press the toy into the little girl’s arms. “Even if the power fails, Mr Dragon here can keep you warm.”
The child clutches the stuffed animal to her chest. “Thanks misser,” she smiles.
“Feel free to pick out a bed for the night,” I instruct them. Even if Corporate doesn’t approve, there’s no way I’ll send these customers out into the black, howling, nightmare of a snowstorm outside. “We’ll put on a movie in the staff break room in a bit.” I ruffle the little girl’s short blonde hair. “And we’ll have hot chocolate, too!”
“Cool!” She looks up at her mom. “Can I go look at the bunk beds?”
Her mother sighs, though there’s fondness behind it. “Sure, dear.”
With a surprising show of force, the little girl pulls her mother away.
“Hot beverages and films?” A posh voice drawls. I look over to see a tall man with shoulder-length black hair and a slate-colored peacoat buttoned near up to his neck. “Trying to distract us from the danger?” He raises one eyebrow, the rest of his face schooled to disdain with precision.
He also happens to be the most attractive man I’ve ever seen.
Before I have a chance to reassure him, Penny comes up to my side. “Corporate approves, so long as a few of us stay behind.”
I grab her by the elbow and pull her out of earshot from Fancy Coat Man. “Let’s ask the staff, yeah? I’m sure there’s a few with kids who’d like to head home. But I think most’ll stay.” I look out the window; the drifts have gotten even higher. “No one should head out in this.”
There’s a blur of grey behind me. When I turn around, the man is gone.
I frown. I really hope he’s not planning to leave.

Summary: While most people would qualify married life as boring, having Dick Grayson for a husband turns the most mudane task into an adventure. This is the story of one shopping trip turned into a teenage dream (Katy Perry can suck it up)
You were making breakfast when you heard it.
The sound of the coffee brewing and the sizzling pan were singing the beginning of a new day, harmonizing with your soft humming of a song you had heard on the radio the day before. The sun basked the whole kitchen in golden sun and warmed your back through your fluffy robe, so much you never wanted to leave this spot. You closed your eyes, taking in the peace you had long seeked. But then, it was interrupted by a loud crash and a high pitched scream.
You perked up, turning down the stovetops and rushing to the bathroom. Luckily, your husband never kept the door locked. In fact, it was wide open when you came in. You reached the shower handle and pulled it open with all the concern in the world, only to see Dick with a pout on his pretty face.
“Dick” You frowned. “Is everything okay?”
“This is the worst thing that happened to me” He almost sobbed. Your concern spiked.
“What happened?” You asked. “Are you hurt?”
“My toes...” His pout intensified as he pointed behind him. “The rack broke and all the bottles fell on my feet”
The sudden stress and concern fell, only to be replaced by your incredulous expression. You shouldn’t have been surprised by his blown out of proportion reaction, but again, Dick was probably the most dramatic person you knew. Punch him, shoot him, beat him up to an inch of his life, the guy will shake it off and get back on his feet. Minorly inconvenience him? You’ll never hear the end of it.
“You big baby” You rolled your eyes. “You’ll be fine”
“You won’t join me and make it better?” He now gave you his puppy eyes, opening his arms. You had to admit, it was hard not to cave in and go hug the giant toddler. “I’m hurt”
“You’ll get over it” You tried to say sternly, but a small smile still made it past you. “I’m going to finish breakfast now”
“Don’t forget--”
“Your cereals yes I know”
“You’re the best” He yelled after you as you closed the shower door. “I love you!”
“I love you too!”
You went back to the kitchen and turned on the stove tops again, taking care of the hashbrowns and bacon awaiting for your return in their pans. While they cooked, you cut oranges and melons, poured Dick’s favourite cereals in a bowl and put a cup of oat milk right beside. You started the eggs when you heard Dick come out of the bathroom, and managed to have everything ready on the table seconds before he came walking in in his own matching robe, his hair all damp and face shaved.
“Smells amazing in here” He announced loudly.
You walked to him and kissed him on the cheek. He smelled of aftershave and jasmine shower gel. “Just in time”
Dick paused in his steps and stared at the full table with childish wonder. Then, his beautiful, almost sparkling eyes found yours. “What did I do to deserve you? And most importantly what would I do without you?”
“You were very handsome and convincing” You answered the first question with a sly smirk. “And probably dead in a ditch”
He looked like he wanted to argue, but closed his mouth when nothing came out. “Probably dead in a ditch, yeah” He admitted, before his gorgeous smile graced his features again. “Thank you for breakfast babe”
“You’re very welcome” You gladly accepted the quick peck on your lips, and laughed as he hurried to the table. You followed him and sat in front of him, watching as he piled food on his plate, unimpressed. You had been caught short handed when you first started dating, foolishly making food for two people like the boy didn’t eat enough to match a small village. But now you knew the trick and would never make that mistake again; you had to cook for a family of four. It was of utter most importance at breakfast, because he always woke up hungry. You didn’t mind though, because nobody appreciated your food more than him. You’d always get a ‘thank you’ before and after each meal, and he’d usually drop positive comments while he ate as well.
Cooking for Dick Grayson was gratifying, to say the least.
“What?” He asked right after he shoved a spoonful of cereals on his mouth. “Why you shtaring?”
“Don’t worry about it” Your smile widened as you shook your head.
“It makes me shelf conschious”
“Aw baby” You let out a small laugh. “Don’t be. You’re cute when you eat cereals”
He smiled wide, chewed cereal and milk pouring out of his mouth and onto his chin. You averted your eyes from the disaster and sighed.
“I walked into that one” You mumbled, looking up at the ceiling. “Should have known. That’s on me”
“Sorry” He half heartedly apologized, the laughter in his voice evident. “You can look again now, I swallowed”
You slowly trailed your glance on him, sending him a silent warning not to add a sexual joke to it. He visibly wanted to, but instead chose the prudent way and held his hands in defense of his innocence. You nodded slightly in satisfaction and served yourself breakfast, or what was remaining of each plate. You had enough however, since Dick knew exactly how much you needed and took care of leaving your preferred quantity. How thoughtful of him.
“So, I guess we’ll need to go to Ikea to replace that shower rack” You spoke up once you knew his hunger rush had calmed down. “We can go this afternoon if you’ve got nothing to do”
“Oooh, I wanted to buy candles for the living room” He nodded. “Heard they got new ones. Yeah, we can go this afternoon”
“Cool” You nodded, taking a sip of your coffee. “There’s always less people near closing anyway, so that way we’ll avoid the crowds”
“Brilliant” He pointed, nodding along. “I hate when they’re all gathered around the Rättviken and you can’t even see your Pilkån”
You laughed at his exaggerated mannerism and his pretentious eye roll over his botched swedish accent, then finished your breakfast in comfortable silence. Whoever tried to scare you about married life when you were younger was clearly missing on something amazing, or was dead wrong, because you wouldn’t trade it for anything.
---
Some might say going to Ikea in disguise might be a little excessive.
But you and Dick knew better. The number of times you were accosted by either journalists raising to the opportunity to grab a quick interview taped on their phones or nosy citizens looking for a peek of Gotham’s finest son to show off on their instagram feed was enough for you to take measures to ensure your privacy. You didn’t exactly mind, in fact, you thought it was kind of funny. However, sometimes you wanted to be left alone to your candle and shower rack shopping.
Today was one of these days.
Hence, the baseball caps and sunglasses that would follow you even inside away from the sun rays, and away from unwanted attention. Dick suggested he wore his fake mustache, but you deemed it unnecessary for this not so delicate operation. Arms linked together, you entered the swedish domestic heaven and began snooping around the showrooms, pointing out what you liked better and styles you would definitely consider if your house hadn’t been entirely redecorated when you bought it some years ago.
“We should buy an apartment just so we can recreate those rooms” You said as you paused in front of a beautiful study. “That would be fun”
“How about we just buy the show rooms so we can go whenever we want?” He raised an eyebrow.
“Oh, good point” You grinned, then let it fall. “If only we had more than negative ten dollars in between us both”
“But then,” He began, glancing at you. “The same problem arises for the apartment option. We’d still be broke”
You blinked a few times, then sighed. “Then we’ve got no choice” You stared at him through his sunglasses. “We gotta steal the showrooms and make a run for it”
You held for two more seconds before you couldn’t contain your laughter anymore. The few people in the store looked at you like you were crazy, but you cared very little for them and their opinions. The facts were you had fun and they didn’t. You moved along to the bedrooms, where the big fluffy beds just called your name. Like your minds were connected, you and Dick both launched yourself on the king sized mattress in the orange tinted room. You bounced like you weighed a feather, then sank into the memory foam that would guarantee a good night of sleep to anyone bringing the mattress home.
“I’m comfy here” Dick scooted closer to you, reaching for your waist to cuddle and burying his face in your neck. “Don’t wanna leave”
“Babe” You giggled, half heartedly pushing him away from you. You knew it was impossible to move him if he didn’t want to be moved. “We’re gonna get kicked out of the store if we get caught cuddling”
A mischievous glint flashed in his eyes, and before you could strategize to stop whatever plan he acted in his mind, he somehow pulled you from the middle of the bed and used his vigilante stealth to carry you inside a closet, shutting the door behind him. Your face was flushed at the sudden rolling and spinning, and he only had a shit eating grin you could see all too well even in the dark.
“What the hell?” You whisper-screamed. “We could have been seen!”
“Nope” He seemed so proud of himself. “Made sure of it”
“Cameras?”
“Blind spot” He replied. “I checked everything. I’m a pro, babe”
You kept glaring at him with narrowed eyes. “I hate you”
“Uh huh” He gave you a small, unconvinced nod, knowing all too well it wasn’t even close to be true. “That’s why you stormed off the closet the second after I brought you here… Oh wait”
“Smart ass” You lightly slapped his chest, a small smile creeping on your lips. You kind of enjoyed the thrill of hiding out somewhere anybody could burst in at any moment, and you definitely didn’t dislike the proximity to your husband. Even if you were married, his close presence still made your heart do backflips.
“Your smart ass” He corrected, giving you once again his puppy eyes. Well, you couldn’t actually see his eyes, but the tilt of his head and the slight jut of his lower lip all pointed to his famous facial expression that got him virtually anything. And you were far from immune to it. So naturally, you leaned in for a kiss, knowing it was what he was begging for this time.
And just like that, you were making out like two teenagers in the janitor closet.
It was messy, teeth clashed and giggles interrupted the motions more than not. Dick bumped his head at least twice on the bar above him and you almost fell down on your ass if it hadn’t been from Dick holding you. Hands got grabby and before you knew it, the temptation to make articles of clothing fly like fireworks brought you back to reality. You reluctantly broke the kiss, still giggling as he definitely didn’t want to leave your lips just yet. He whined when he realized you weren’t coming back.
“Hey, hold on cowboy” You chuckled, holding his shoulder. “If we keep going on like that, we’ll end up making a baby inside this closet”
The playful expression came back, along with a dash of flirting. His hand caressed your arm. “Would it be so bad?”
“Yes” You deadpanned. “Because you would name the baby like, Songesand or something”
He gasped. “I would never name my child after Ikea furniture”
You raised an eyebrow. “We’re not naming our baby Björn either”
He paused, caught in the headlights. You knew him so well he was becoming predictable. “But then how will people know he was conceived in swedish furniture?”
“You dork” You poked his chest, making the grin return on his face. “Obviously we let people know by having an ABBA reference in his middle name”
He laughed loudly, but you didn’t care whether or not you got caught. You were having too much fun. “Please marry me now”
“Sorry, already taken” You tsked, showing your ring. The one he put on your finger on your wedding day. “But he’s a cool guy, maybe I could talk to him about us seeing each other”
“Nah, he’s a jerk” He brushed off. “I’d rather have you all to myself”
He was about to kiss you again when you heard the lights going off. It was already dark in the closet, but there was no doubt, the main lights had been shut down. Your eyes widened as you stared at each other for a moment in surprise, until Dick grabbed his phone in his back pocket and checked the time. He turned the phone to you, letting you read the clock screaming 17:45 at you.
“Uh oh” You bit your lip. Fifteen minutes after closing. “They’re closing already? Shouldn’t they do a check up before?”
He shrugged. “Maybe the employees got some places to be?”
“Who’s got places to be on a Tuesday night?”
“Nightwing?”
“So the employees are all vigilantes?”
“Maybe, we can’t know for sure”
“Sure, okay. So we’re locked in?”
“Yup”
You took off your cap and sunglasses. “Guess we won’t need these anymore”
“Come on” He said as he also took off his semi disguise. “Don’t tell me you’ve never thought about getting locked in an Ikea for the night?”
“I have actually” You pointed out. “It’s both my dream and my nightmare depending on who I’m there with”
“And I’m..?”
“Oh definitely nightmare” You replied in a serious tone, and his eyebrows raised. “Just kidding, being locked in here with you was on my bucket list”
“Attagirl!” He laughed, pushing open the closet like he realized you didn’t need to be hiding in there anymore. The store now had an eerie feeling, something on the other side of the vibe spectrum than it would usually be. It felt like you had crossed in another dimension narnia style. “This is gonna be fun”
“Where do we start?” You asked, stretching your legs. You had gotten a cramp from being all folded up in the closet. “Bathrooms? Living rooms?”
“Guards’ round” The mischief in his eyes returned, and just like that you were remembered you also would have to evade a guard. “We find out where he starts, how fast he makes his round, where he’s looking more carefully. Then we begin the cat and mouse game”
“Sounds like a plan” You nodded, then watched him perk up at something above your shoulder.
He put a finger against his lips and stared down the hallway until you heard the shuffling of keys. How he managed to hear it long before you did would forever remain a mystery to you. In a blink, he wrapped his arms around your waist and spun around behind the very wardrobe you were hiding in minutes ago. You put a hand against your mouth to hold back the giggle that threatened to reveal your presence, and it didn’t help that you could feel Dick’s grin on the skin of your neck. He only turned you around in his arms when he was sure the guard was far enough.
“All clear” He confirmed, a boyish expression gracing his features. Yup, you definitely felt like a teenager sneaking around where you shouldn’t. The thrill was a refreshing spin to your routine. “Where to?”
“Hmm” You hummed, tilting your head. “Cap on the living rooms?”
Without warning, he grabbed your hand and took off running in the opposite direction from the security guard and toward the beginning of the Ikea maze. You almost let out a squeal of surprise, but managed to keep it down for the sake of your stealth operation. He only slowed down once you reached the area, letting go of your hand to jump on a couch. He threw his arm over his head and adopted a dramatic pause.
“My love, thee life shall be intertwined withet mine for the ends of times”
“Oh my dearest Eleanor” You joined in, adopting a much lower tone to match his higher one. You kneeled in front of him. “I taketh the oath to love you forever”
“Even if my corset is not made of real lace?”
You gasped. “How could you lieth to me such way?”
Dick was about to reply something even stupider when you were interrupted.
“Who’s there?”
“Oh shit” You hissed, grabbing Dick’s wrist and sprinting away. You were just getting to the good part of your goofing.
“The English, they’re invading!” He yelled loud enough to be sure the guard chasing you heard. “Ring the bell, wake the men, hide the tea!”
“Hey come back!” The guard, well, a different one, chased after you. You didn’t plan on having two of them making rounds. “You can’t be here!”
“You’ll never take us alive!” You added before you took a shortcut through the living room appliances to try and gain ground, then glanced at Dick. “If you have any vigilante disappearance act, now would be the time honey”
“I’m trying to spot an exit point--oh there”
You were yanked through an employees only zone, from where you easily found the door for the outside smoking zone. You could hear the security guard behind, but you were too fast. You came to a halt in front of the fence, hesitating. You were able to more or less follow Dick at a running pace, but you were in no way an acrobat or parkour expert. Dick, knowing this, didn’t waste time grabbing your waist and lifting you above it and jumping suit. You then ran straight back to Dick’s car and drove quickly out of the parking lot towards your home.
“Oh my god” You laughed in disbelief. “This is the craziest thing I’ve ever done”
He laughed heartily. “You’ve always wanted to see what patrol was like as Nightwing, this is as close as it gets without doing the real thing”
“I mean, beside the role play probably”
“Hmm no, it happens more often than you would think” He nodded. You kept staring at him for a moment, but he was serious. Well, after a small reflexion, and knowing his family, the surprise kind of fell apart. It made sense.
“We should do this every week” You declared. “It was fun!”
“Told ya it would” He winked.
“With all of this though,” You began, suddenly thoughtful. “We did forget the shower rack”
“And the candles!” He gasped. “Not the candles!”

Turo’s son along with a group of his friends raced over not two minutes after hearing of the Elf in town to see you. Peering around they made their way straight to Riki asking, “You saw the Elf?”
Riki nodded, “Aye, what is your interest in it?”
He turned and nipped at his lip, “Aww, I hoped we’d have a clearer view if it is her ex.”
Riki, “View of what exactly?”
The teen looked at him, “For her Fromfpk.” The term made the entire diner tense up, “Elves are forbidden to have justified killings and have to live with the disgrace, but he’s on Dwarven land now.” His head turned at the sound of bears roaring, “Oh she’s sending the bears on him!” He said bouncing on his toes as the other teens groaned at missing the show.
Gloin in the table beside Riki’s asked, “Did Miss Pear happen to mention what he did?”
The boy looked at him saying, “He slept with her cousin for years while dating her, probably the whole time,” instantly making the room see red, “Then at her last birthday he used it for a work mixer instead and spent the whole night with his hand in her cousin’s dress and told everyone he only got with Miss Pear because she’s best friends with the head of the firm he wanted to start at’s daughter, then went on to say he never found her attractive at all. She packed up and moved back home, that night.”
Gloin cleared his throat as Riki asked, “She told you this?”
“Well Amad was curious why she had a plus one confirmed for months, and then didn’t need it, which helped with cousin Marr’s new beau get his seat, and Adad and Amad wouldn’t ask why she said she’d be coming alone to the wedding, so I asked.”
Gloin painfully mumbled, “He did all that and she just left? No wonder she spoke to no one when she first came home.”
The teen grinned, “She got him fired first.” Bolstering the mood of the room a bit until the radio call echoed through the room confirming you had sent him off and the cars needed to get him out of town.
The sound of the sports car sounded at full speed before they saw the car slowing to pull into the lot again for the panicked Elf to climb out again heading straight for the tables with the teens grumbling as they filled a table of their own.
Riki, “Find her?”
The Elf panted and he said, “You need to call animal control!”
Riki raised his glass, “Oh?”
Elf, “There were these abominably large bears on the land! They charged at me! Where’s the Sheriff, he’ll know what to do!”
Riki raised his hand only to point behind the Elf who shrieked making the men smirk at the bears grunting and trotting over to the diner. “I don’t think they like you.”
Gloin, “Then again they don’t really like anyone at first. Even Riki here, moved from the Iron Hills and took, what, two years for them to take to him.”
Elf, “Aren’t you going to do something?!”
Riki shook his head, “I don’t speak Bear and nobody’s daft enough to try mace, only makes ‘em blood thirsty. Mortar Bears that lot, best clear off out of town or they’ll only hunt you down.”
He looked at the men in the room then shrieked again at the warm breath landing on his neck making him squirm away from the reared up bear standing near to twelve feet tall towering over his seven foot frame that scrambled back to his car he climbed in mumbling, “Stubborn cunt isn’t worth this! Lei can find another way to funds.” Slamming the door to back out and speed out of town.
Inhaling sharply Gloin pulled out his phone and began to write out all he had learned and heard he fired off in a group message that was forwarded through the family.

The full drive Thorin’s mind raced, what that Elf had done to win a date with you, how long you had been together, how he fit into your leaving. Mostly it made him wonder how many you had dated. To him you were untouchable, you must have had men falling over you left and right, surely he couldn’t be the first to imagine himself close to proposing. No wonder hearing that you weren’t the standard for Dwarvish beauty had hurt you so. True he wasn’t the pinnacle either and Durins were mainly taken more on personality by their chosen mates but you were flawless and he hoped that you weren’t settling for him. He did always hope that he would be just as attractive for his One when he found them, his one hopeful hint of vanity just to know he was the dream for them as they surely would be for him. Painfully he loved you so much and he never wished you to face any more pain, all the more reason for his irritation as to why that ignoramus dared to go and speak to you with that failure of a ring.
Dwalin all the way kept stealing glances at his tensing cousin unable to think of what to say to calm him and finally the office came into view abutting the family showroom filling with whispers at the glimpse of Thorin and Dwalin. Both of whom trotted up the steps to the glass centered door with the family crest etched into it they opened and passed through letting it close behind them. Straight through to Balin’s office they strolled and plopped into his couch seeing him on the phone on the balcony, resting their hands on their knees. A few moments was all it took and Balin entered the room unable to hold it in any more, and let out a breath leaving his phone on the desk before saying, “She’s been sleeping in the closet.”
Their lips parted and Dwalin asked, “What now?”
Balin huffed and settled his palms on the desk, “I went to check the filters and she was packing up, the full time she’s been sleeping on an inflatable mattress in the closet.”
Thorin, “Why? The mattresses aren’t soft or hard enough?”
Balin, “Back in university she had a frat dive through her windows at nighttime, leaving her terrified of sleeping near uncovered windows at night.”
Thorin, Dwalin, “What?!”
Balin nodded, “I mentioned we could have easily moved her to another,” The pair nodded, “But she said she was a bit embarrassed being a glassworker terrified of windows. She did mention she knew the house was safe, just has trouble getting over the fear.”
Dwalin, “Understandably.”
Thorin nodded and wet his lips then mumbled, “So she’s been sleeping in the closet for months and now a possible ex shows up to pester her.”
Balin, “What?”
They filled him in to the Elf arriving in town parting his lips though at the pinging of phones in sharing what Gloin had learned Thorin was bent forward covering his face at having missed his chance in breaking the man who had treated you so terribly. “And I sent him right to her…”
Dwalin, “That, makes sense.” Thorin looked up at his cousin, “For what Oin said, why he felt he needed to focus so much on her when she arrived.”
Balin nodded, “And mentioned she did improve greatly afterwards. Perhaps standing up to him could help her feel better even if she hasn’t killed him.”
Thorin sighed, “How am I going to make up for this?”
Dwalin, “You didn’t do anything.”

It wasn’t just the adult males who seemed to take up the excuse to wander and with a sigh you tucked a bunch of fruit into your shirt and you strolled to your courtyard and straight towards the diner packed with Dwarves all tapping one another to alert each of your arrival. Smiles spread through the patio area and building behind it as you peered around saying as you spied the trio of cubs climbing over Gloin and Riki’s legs, “Sorry guys.”
Holding up the apples the cubs sounded off excitedly making the Dwarves chuckle as you said, “We have fruit at home, no need to steal anyone’s pie.” The youngest sounded out again in argument of Gloin’s chuckling easing of his plate away from the cub reaching for it.
Riki, “Everything go alright with that Elf?”
You nodded, “Just a pest.”
Turo’s son asked, “You didn’t let him get mauled? Not even a scratch?!”
You smirked at him in stroking the cheek of the Bear who was smoothing his other cheek against your neck and shoulder in a content hummed sharing that the threat was gone, you answered the teen, “he’s not worth dulling claws over. Anything more than terrifying him is too good for him.” A peck on the snout of the bear nuzzling up against you later you said, “He bother you?”
Gloin shook his head, “Not a tick.”
Riki, “Did let of a nice shriek when that one there just breathed on him.”
Making you giggle and Turo’s son say, “Got a video of it. I’ll send it over to you.”
You nodded after the cubs had eaten their apples and you said, “I’ll get these munchkins out of your way, let you eat.”
The men looked you over chuckling as you said in Bear, “Come on, we’re heading back home.” The language deepening their grins in hearing you use it for the first time with them.
Gloin couldn’t help but ask, “The twit, he said you turned down his first ring he offered you.”
You shook your head, “He never proposed, and honestly he could have bought me a rock the size of Neptune and I’d still turn him down. Especially with his taste. Told him millions of times pearls are an insult unless from family, silver even worse. Still insisted on giving me an heirloom necklace and ring to match after my last show.”
Gloin scoffed as Riki said, “He mentioned something about a show.”
You nodded, “Ya, told my manager, press and venue it was made up. He should get back in time for my cousins arraignment for fraud charges. Bet that’ll liven their days.” Lowering down at one of the cubs climbing your leg he clambered to your shoulder pushing your hair into your face with his brother happily on your hip as you stood saying, “Next round of pie’s on me, be in for lunch tomorrow.”
The diner owner chuckled saying, “Ah, no problem. They’re much more behaved than those moose are. We have an animal buffer fund for sweets, no worries.” The room wished you a good evening, which you returned on your stroll out with the large bears and the cubs in your hold after you scooped up the final one still munching on a stolen slice of fruit he’d stolen keeping him from complaining.
By the time you got them to the pool again your stomach was growling again sending you inside again. Sighing deeply you locked the door and made your way up to the steps leading to your tower. The scent of dirt and sweat on you however made you turn from your kitchen to your closet. Easily you set aside your shoes you took off and stripped leaving your clothes in the basket by the wall with a fresh set of underwear you left on the counter to switch the shower on. Reaching up you undid your hair tie, and combed through your partially knotted curls you found random bits of dirt and leaves from the cubs that loved playing with it and rubbing their heads into it to smell like apples just like it. Under the water you stepped and began to hum along to the song stuck in your head, losing focus on the world around you.

From the diner to his home Thorin raced, you had a long day and no doubt you would be hungry so a full basket was packed and off he raced to the castle. Straight up to the front door he went, freezing in place without any sight of a doorbell only a knocker. Wetting his lips he moved closer griping the handle he tried to open hoping you had left it unlocked only to find it otherwise. Over the windows he noticed the metal shingles and for the third time he tried calling you, “Come on Garfield. Pick up.”
Out from under the entrance cover he strolled and the distant humming slumped his shoulders and he mumbled seeing the only entrance was your open tower itself with most windows open to let some cool air in. “You gotta be kidding me.”
Inching closer he spotted the first handhold and drew in a calming breath as he adjusted the basket into his elbow to start climbing.
*
Humming to yourself the towel you dried with was dropped into your hamper and in your favorite yellow bra and panties you strolled out of the bathroom with a curious furrow of your brows at the gentle knock breaking the tune. Peering into your bedroom your mouth fell open seeing Thorin seated on the small ledge just under your open window to the left of your chest you added your spare blankets to. “What th-,”
Lifting his basket he’d set on the chest he said, “Brought food. Thought you’d be hungry.”
“Did you-?” Rushing over you peered down out the window beside him making him smirk and look at the far wall after stealing a quick peek at your curves wrapped in your layer of lace. Pulling back you caught his eyes saying, “There’s no ladder.”
He shook his head and you gripped his shirt pulling him inside as he chuckled, “Where would I have found a ladder big enough? Easier than it looked.”
“You seriously climbed all the way up here?! What type of idiot does that?”
He let out a weak chuckle, “Well this one, apparently, you seem to have forgotten the doorbell.”
Your eyes closed and you sighed rubbing your face, “I had to tuck it up, the bears kept playing with the pulley to hear the bells.” Making him smirk as you looked him over in the drop of your hands to your mouth. “Are you hungry?”
With another sigh you answered, “Starving.” Turning away to your closet you said, “I’ll get dressed.”
Tumblr media
He nodded and set the basket down again and grinned taking in the spacious yet cozy bedroom you had, the centerpiece of which was the four poster bed with tree trunk shaped posts reaching up to form the canopy woven together from polished branches matching the head and footboard. Across which had a thick plushy mattress topped with dark sheets under grey speckled furs and a pile of plushy pillows matching the sheets and the furs. Lantern shaped lamps were placed around it and the cabinet across your bed held your entertainment system complete with flat screen tv with a decorative screen pulled back. Their open state revealing the owls carved into each side of the doors matching the front door to your suite he caught a glimpse of in inspecting the cubby shelves built into the walls filled with framed pictures. The door framed in a black arch with a knocker for the beak and two glass panes for the eyes with a pull down cover on the inside for privacy.
Tumblr media
Each picture either of family or random places in the first section. The one holding him in place however was the one of you and him on your night out to that musical in a double panel frame, the second portion holding the pressed rose from his lapel and your ticket stub and playbill he helped you get signed. With a smirk he looked to the two others with him, both with him occupied and you tumbling around with Fili and Kili. The leather bound pocket journal sized book however caught his eye next at the title etched into the cover he mumbled, “My Scowling Prince.”
Peeking inside he smirked at the clear drawing on the first page of a Princess in a tower executed as if a child had drawn it. From page to page he read the Dwarven runes in marker matching the pictures sharing the tale of the scowling exhausted Prince of Scowls who climbed the tower and promptly ranted and complained about the climb. The grateful and already love struck Princess tasked herself to cook. The Prince was fed and fell asleep only deepening his smirk seeing the Prince turn into his bear in the drawing to snuggle around the Princess as he snored loudly while she slept soundly. The ending being they woke up to face eternity together, no happily ever after just as most Dwarven tales go, they were Ones so unending joy was implied. Chuckling to himself he eyed the final page of the book dating when you wrote it in your handwriting fully grown in pen telling when you had it bound into this book he guessed you had made as well.
“You are not reading that.” You said with arms crossing over your middle making him look at you and smirk seeing you in the simple pale yellow sundress you had pulled on.
“This is precious.”
Crossing the room you rolled your eyes and taking the book you set back on its spot, “Your sarcasm is not only unnecessary, but unwanted.”
“It is not sarcasm!” You peered up at him raising a brow, “It’s not! I would read that to my Pebbles. And I would encourage them to make their own. Did your Adad see it?”
You nodded, “He laughed. I made him a set of stories too. Haven’t set them out yet, keep crying when I look at them. He kept insisting on reading them with me each night. For his own bedtime stories then we’d curl up.”
Reaching out he brushed a strip of your hair behind your ear and purred, “So, I couldn’t help but notice, the Prince of Scowls had a flock of ravens?” You rolled your eyes, “Wouldn’t happen to be a Durin you dreamed of climbing this tower, would it?”
“What sort of woman do you take me for?”
Lowly he chuckled saying, “Apparently one who would assume a Dwarf willing to climb a tower for his true love wouldn’t bring food.” He said turning to claim his basket he brought with him through to the dining room where he set out all the food feeling you pass behind him to add two glasses, plates and sets of utensils out for the pair of you.
When he filled the seat beside you after pouring out the wine he’d brought you asked, “I take it you heard about my ex showing up?”
He nodded and cleared his throat, “I, um, I didn’t know he was your ex, or the circumstances of your breakup or I would have never let anyone send him your way.”
You shook your head, “Not your fault. Didn’t want anyone to know, bad enough I let it go on so long.”
His lips parted, “You knew? Before he said anything?”
You chuckled softly, “As if he was the first stolen away from me?” He inhaled sharply and you shook your head, “By the time he came around I had a knack for knowing within a few moments who would take him and how long they would take so I could plan accordingly.”
Wetting his lips he tapped his finger on the table making you look up at him curiously, “I will never cheat on you.”
You smirked at him and replied, “I know.” Making his smile inch wider, “Your family would kill you if you thought to.” Making him laugh out loud.
“True. Though I’d give them little cause to, I’d hurt myself before hurting you.”
You nodded and tapped your fork into the same piece of chicken you had just sliced off making him look you over, “I do have to ask,” his brows inched up when your eyes met his again, “He didn’t happen, to show you the ring?”
Thorin chuckled in the back of his throat then wet his lips trying to mask his true reaction, “Oh, yes. He did.”
You nodded then set down your fork asking, “Was it just me, or did it look like testicles in a diamond bowl?”
Again he laughed and shook his head trying and failing to keep a straight face, “Dwalin had a, similar observation, which I agreed to.” He said then burst into laughter as your head dipped in a fit of giggles. Tearfully you asked, “Who let him buy that ring?”
The meal bled into a film, through which you snuggled up across your bed in Thorin’s arms until the sun set and he asked in a low rumble, “Did you want me to shut the windows and curtains?”
You shook your head, “No. I wanna sleep under the stars.” With a smirk you added, “Who’d be crazy enough to climb all the way up here to jump through my window?”
Chuckling lowly he kissed the top of your head humming back, “Not a clue Garfield. Not a clue.”
