Idc if it's been a while since the movie premiered. I like,, this AU was a random thought that went dormant and today suddenly my brain was like "draw rough drafts or you are going to explode" and I'm in a car rn doing road trip stuff so why not? (<- bad idea, it's awful drawing in a car)

And idk about Echo and Omega yet but I'm going to find something fitting for them!!

Echo has cool spider cybernetic enhancements!! Either going to do Darth Maul spider legs OR the back spider legs Tom's Peter has

Ummmm either Mayday is going to be a Ben Parker for Crosshair or Tech is going to be

In this AU they aren't related! At least directly,, - they're all from different universes and they come together to beat a big bad™️

Echo's is going to be Fives :)

Hunter's will maybe be Crosshair’s because I think I can muster up a lot of angst with that one >:)

But ANGST!! They've all lost someone and it's gonna be one of their brothers so when they all meet up they're going to have that moment of "It's you. You're alive." Again

Umm but the dynamics might shift around and things might be awkward since they're meeting for the first time but not technically

In the van on their way home, Max watches Eddie out of the corner of her eyes, happily humming along to a fucking pop song playing on the radio, with a stupid grin on his face and dreamy eyes. Something’s strange about his whole demeanour. It’s like he’s glowing from the inside out and it’s making Max sick.

    Ugh.

   “What’s up with you today?” she asks, sounding a little more accusatory than intended.

   “Huh? What d’you mean?”

   “I don’t know. You’re all-“ Max waves her hand at him, fumbling for words to explain. “Happy?”

Eddie laughs nervously and raises one eyebrow at her before turning his eyes back on the road.

   “What’s wrong with being happy?”

   “Nothing! It’s just-“ Yeah, granted, she must sound like the Grinch on Christmas. What’s wrong with Eddie being happy? He deserves to be happy. But-

   “Are you even aware you’ve just been humming along to fucking Wham!?”

That’s what gets his attention. She can see the bob of his Adam’s apple when he swallows down hard, watches in gleeful amusement how his usually pale face turns bright red. Eddie blushes hard and it instantly reminds her of Steve’s face earlier and-
