So the MBT group is starting next week. Kind of confusing cause like it technically started this past Tuesday but like I didn't get the emails until yesterday. One email said that next Tuesday was the first day and then another email said it had already started. I don't know...

The doctor who runs the group called me yesterday and left a voicemail but I was sleeping til like 9 so obviously I wasn't going to call at night. But one of the emails had one of those questionnaires that you fill out regularly. My god it was so long and I hate how they'll ask the same question in a different order of words.

Some of the questions asked about self harm or suicide attempts in the past week but asked it in the same question with just a yes or no. The doctor of the group just called me cause some of my answers flagged concern. I mentioned that question and how lately it's just been self harm and passive SI, no plans or anything. She said she's had to call a couple people so far cause of the questions.

You could save yourself some calls if the questions were separate, like majority of self harm has nothing to do with suicide, NSSIB literally says it right in the beginning non-suicidal...

Anyways so that's that. It's a 7 month group commitment. "Four weeks of psychoeducation about borderline personality disorder (BPD), mentalization-based treatment (MBT), and human flourishing. Followed by six months of weekly group MBT psychotherapy."

She said how there will be other people also starting next week. So I'm glad I'm not the only one but like I wonder why they didn't reach out to everyone before the 18th so everyone could have started together?
