Since Fred is a larger character, his bed is huge and the pajamas are too. When you win the trivia, you are handed the largest sleeping garments ever that are probably 2-3x your size and you get to sleep in the biggest, coziest bed EVER.

No wonder Kent studied so hard to always win trivia. I wouldn’t want to give that up either.

I think its cool that when you look at eyes of the people of the underneath they have very light eyes (Likely due to the lack of uv/sunlight)

Ok, so just a word of warning, Binta has a friend name Kent that's OBSESSED with Fred. From what I've heard, he even sleeps in Fred's pajamas whenever he wins this trivia contest they have from time to time. It's pretty creepy. If you ever see some bearded guy wearing a goofy hat, I'd suggest you quickly head the opposite direction before he recognizes you and starts hounding you with questions about Fred.

okay, well, i love most of the charcters in mcsm but some of the characters are a little.. uneventful. tbf looking at the tier list just makes me look like i like the jerks but at least theyre compelling 😭😭 (and i just love romeo bc.. hes romeo) the gladiators are okay but theyre kinda boring.. wdy think?

My good friend and dearest partner @romeoburg does point out that Episode 4 is also the victim of a lot of the budget/time crunch TTG had to deal with - below the cut is my unfiltered rambling b/c this got me thinking about the Underneath hard lol

now tbf from a writing perspective i do get not liking the romeoburg gang cuz they do kind of smack of being filler lol. the underneath in general is really hard to write for because while it's the nadir of the plot, they've lost and Everything Sucks, its also really. kind of boring how barren it is? Fred's Keep is the only real defined area. Romeoburg is a plot beat with some meat puppets, and the Oasis... oh you poor thing.

Why is the Oasis so... empty? Clearly it was an agricultural community, Xara had to have had people there, right? Where are her followers? Romeoburg not having many people makes more sense at least, since Romeo is the "warrior" of the three, his people were also headstrong warriors... and a lot of them probably got poofed in the Challenge Room trying to find him, especially in the wake of the Bedrocking.

Fred's Keep still cracking on in what is essentially an apocalypse is very in-character for followers of fred, and i feel like more of them would've been fleshed out (at least a little bit, the main purpose of going to fred's keep is to get Binta after all /j) and been more likeable. Kent sucks though you're so right LOL

S1 is harder to really chew on, as im not terribly fond of the DLC arc (it's not bad, don't get me wrong, it's just not my favorite. order up is the real last episode imo), so i can't really say a whole lot there um..

I'm not sure if I'm being too petty, but if they couldn't let Louis give Clem that piano key (or something else) then they shouldn't have let Violet give Clem those pins. This just makes the romance routes unbalanced.

You know, I've often remained neutral on this topic in the past, mainly because the Violet/Louis bias stuff doesn't bother as much as it does for others (since I view Louis as also having things that Violet doesn't - such as a closer relationship to AJ, ect).

But in all honesty, I think it's perfectly valid and reasonable for you to feel that way.

I just want to start off by saying that i'm not saying that Violet fans didn't deserve the cute little badge scene with Violet, so please don't misunderstand this as a rage post - because it isn't.

But I do question the logic of the team when it came to deciding on that particular choice in episode 3 given their (very well established) knowledge of how passionate fans get over shipping and "favouritism" - something that's been a topic of arguments and shipping wars ever since past Telltale titles like TFTB, MCSM and Batman (all of which most of the TFS staff were there for and witnessed).

Episode 3 was already written during the making of episode 2 - but the actual animations and models were not fully complete by the time Telltale closed until the team working for Skybound finished it off later themselves.

During that time period between Episode 2 and the months towards Episode 3, I vividly remember Kent and others knowing about the fandom and in particular the Louis side speaking out about their feelings of disregard when it came to the Louisentine/Clouis side of the ship.

Now I'm not saying Kent was being shady or trying to start anything (I highly doubt it) but I do think it was perhaps a little insensitive of him to have proceeded with the badge thing knowing full well how much shit that would inevitably start in the fandom (which it did because I kept seeing people bringing it up) especially when this is also after the episode where Violet got a mini game during her date which Louis didn't.

Now, the team doesn't really owe us anything and it's entirely their choice what they choose to do with their work - because it's their game.

But I do think from a staff member's viewpoint who knows how divided the fandom is in terms of Lou/Vi, it's a little bit irresponsible to add fuel to that fire - especially when you know full well you can't provide for both characters simultaneously and one of them is a constant target for "favouritism" already amongst the fans.

People like Kent keep on saying that they love both characters equally and tbh that could very well be possible, we will never know for certain and there is no point going conspiracy theorist on it.

But I would be lying if I said that I didn't find some issue in Kent saying things like that while also giving Violet extra things compared to Louis. Because then you have a situation where fans can't even vent about it without coming across as total crazies because "the writer says they love them evenly so there is no use in getting salty over it".

Now, I don't actually care that Violet gets more tbh. But it HAS always bugged me how the staff treat it sometimes. Especially when Kent acts somewhat amused over it all. Which is something I've never spoken out about until now, but yeah the nonchalant nature and disregardment of feelings lowkey bothers me a bit.

I don't think it's cool for people to hate Violet or Violet fans over this kind of stuff. It's nice that they get to have content they enjoy and we should be supportive of them.

BUT with that said, I don't think Louis fans should be made to feel ashamed or whiny for being upset over it either. Its equally as valid.

MCSM S2 E4 Commentary

Wow I have forgotten what this episode even was about. *whispers* I actually never finished watching a playthrough so I guess I'll see some knew stuff. Heh. I'm scared. I managed to get changed, get my food, update my tumblr, and this thing is only 55% complete. HOW LONG IS THIS EPISODE? 

Quite funny that I've already said this much stuff and the episode hasn't even completed downloading. I wonder who actually ever reads this? Sorry about not writing my commentary for the last episode. I just didn't want to stop the episode every three seconds to write. Speaking of that, I might just paused every ten minutes to write. Huh.
