Do non CQL versions of WRH even count as dilfs? Yes, he has the children to technically fulfill the requirements of a dilf BUT his high cultivation means he looks as young as they are. He doesn't have the required old man look in any other version to wholly qualify as a dilf. Lmk you're thoughts, this question has been destroying my sleep

Ok listen. You do make a good point, the entire thing of a dilf is the 'aged like fine wine' appeal of a +40 years-old. In fact, this actually reminds me of the call out posts here about how teens be calling dilf a simple guy who just turned 30.

When it comes to WRH tho, tbh I like to stick to the dictionary definition and accept that, if he has kids, then he's a dad, and since he's a snack, he a dilf --even if he does be looking too young to be one bc his cultivation is too crazy high and for all we know dude could be pushing 60 idk.

Now, in the case of the donghua, I'd argue that he looks around the same age as others like JFM and JGS, so we would have to make the case about them counting or not too. Also, idk if it's the evilness, and maybe it's just me, but there's something about him that doesn't really make him look "young", if you know what I mean.

Like, I would look at him at totally believe that he has teen sons y'know.

I mean yeah, there are no incipient wrinkles or gray hairs, but is this a Mister™ in full right? Absolutely.

Okay but can you imagine WRH dealing w/ grief? Lot of Wen were killed during sunshot and even more in the labor camps, so in the two years WRH was captive the Wen were reduced to like half of the force that survived sunshot.

Now imagine some of the people who were killed in the labor camps were very dear to WRH? Maybe it's his favourite aunt/uncle. Maybe his favourite nephew/niece (looking at Wen Ning) . Maybe someone who watched over him since he was little.

So anyway, my point, WRH punches a wall out of rage and grief. It would have been fine if he had his cultivation, but at this point he doesn't yet, so his hand breaks very severely. Then, cue more humiliation at having to go to Wen Qing to fix it! Plus it's his writing hand so he can't write anymore until it heals full stop. Even more reliance on JGY. This is after Wen Qing does several exams to assess the damage to his body, so like, even worse!

WRH's pride keeps getting teared apart even after leaving Lanling, and god. Poor man

This man was on top of the world and then most his sect was gone. You can very well call it karma for Lotus Pier, so one would extend him any sympathy.

At least Qing'er is still around, helping him despite how easy it could have been for her to blame him for everything. So even more grief and humiliation at being continuously dependent on ppl who either put him there or had every reason to turn their back on him T-T

I was inspired by the insufferapoll (specifically Luo Binghe's round against Qi Rong) and have nurtured the brain worm that has become a rather silly social media au. It's part fanfiction and part images, and showcases the absolutely unhinged mind of Luo Binghe (and Shen Yuan)

Reading SVSSS: Chapter 15

For those who don't know, I am reading SVSSS for the first time and sharing my thoughts!

If you have not read it, there will be spoilers! Consider this a warning.

It's chapter 15! Time to figure out what happened to SQQ in the latest cliff hangar.

SQQ has this habit of getting kidnapped "for his own good" but no one ever tells him why it's good for him XD this entire situation is so annoying. Tianlang-jun did this all so that he could get him away from the sects he wanted to destroy. p43

OMG scratch that. He also wants to use him as bait to snatch his sons body as his own. p45.

aside: I'm going to have to organize these notes later- I'm not catching the nuance in the hand written notes LOL my brain is processing faster than my hand (you will notice that the last 2 points here do not match my hand written notes because they were a hot mess).
