dusa now that I have seen your credentials (makeup slayed in those pics) I feel I should ask if you have any sephora sale recommendations? I want to get more into makeup but it’s kind of overwhelming

i’m so flattered that my credentials have made the cut for this question bc i actually love to talk about makeup 🙂‍↕️

truthfully for as long as i’ve been wearing makeup (and i became an adult during the 2010s era full glam bake your concealer and do a whole cut crease just to go to the frat party…) i’ve only just recently gotten more into high-end makeup. my holy grails have always been drugstore!! so i don’t actually have that many recs BUT i do think all of these products are worth the money:

(disclaimers: my skin type leans dry and is not sensitive. i’m fair olive with neutral undertones so shade matches are notoriously difficult for me. i’m about to turn 30 so the way things settle into lines etc matters a lot to me. and i prioritize longevity and how well something looks after 8+ hours of wear)

haus labs foundation. i know you’ve probably seen this being said a million times but they’re all telling the truth. it became my holy grail like 2 years ago and has not been dethroned. it wears beautifully, it’s buildable, the shade match on me is PERFECT both in my winter and summer shades. i can wear it on lighter makeup days or build it to a full beat and it looks great either way. it’s the foundation i was wearing in those pics and it still looked flawless after 8 hours of partying. i’m telling you though i was so scared to invest in it bc i’ve always been a drugstore foundation girl (maybelline fit me 4ever) but the haus labs is worth your mf coin.

i also use the haus labs concealer and i do really like it so i’ll include it in this list, but i’m sure there are others that are more worth the money that i just haven’t tried yet. i’m currently on like a concealer hunt specifically bc my under eyes have become an area of concern so i’ve been trying a lot of high end concealers and so far this one has stuck with me, but i have a feeling i’m gonna find one i like more.

saie slip tint. now look, i have long standing beef with skin tints. i hate. HATE. when everyone is talking about how good a skin tint is and i buy it and it’s heavy like a fucking foundation. if i want medium+ coverage i will just wear foundation!!! if i wear a skin tint it’s bc i want it to be lightweight and just make my skin look nicer. but also!!! i don’t want it to be so lightweight or dewy that it disappears in 2 hours. anyways, the saie skin tint is the first one i’ve found that is perfect. lightweight and looks great, dewy but actually stays on my face, the shade match is good, it has spf and skin care benefits blah blah blah. it’s my daily wear for work. i already have it in my cart to restock during the sephora sale, i love it that much.

huda beauty powder. now look, remember when i said i’m from the 2010s makeup era? even so i neverrrrr tried the huda beauty powder until literally like a month ago. and i was dumb for that honestly. WELL. ok actually it’s just that i really didn’t need to think hard about my powders until now, since my skin is not as young as it once was 🙂‍↕️ anyways, it’s so worth the hype it’s not even funny. i always thought it would be too cakey or drying for my dry skin but i was soooo wrong. i use it on both light and heavy makeup days and it looks good regardless. huda is that girl, and she always has been i’m just late.

nars soft matte concealer. it’s THE spot concealer. if you’re covering blemishes and whatnot it’s just the best of the best. and one pot will last you like the next 5+ years dead ass, it’s worth the money.

and honestly that’s it!! there are other things from sephora that i love and i use often but if i’m being real, you could easily get away with the drugstore/affordable version of those products and be perfectly fine. so i won’t recommend spending your $$ on them, especially if you’re not a big makeup person to begin with.

i think where high end is really worth it is complexion products, like foundations and powders, especially if you’re ✨getting older✨ but for everything else you definitely don’t need sephora.

⌞𝓚POP ⟢ 𝓓R⌝ 𝓢TAGE 𝓜AKEUP 𝓡OUTINE

i'm gonna explin this like if I were in Vogue because that way is more cooler.

hi vogue, i'm Dalilah from PRIISTINE, and this is my stage makeup routine.

i'm going to start with the Cadalie Vinoperfect serum, followed by the Merit Great skin moisturizer to hydrate the skin. this two products are perfect for a great skin prep, my makeup never looks patchy or cakey with these.

after that, i'm going in with the Too Faced Born This Way foundation, in the shade vanilla, i think..? I always use thin layers of product so i don't over makeup the skin, this way we can avoid heavy makeup and dry patchy skin. so, i gently tap it with a Pat McGrath brush and build it up with thin layers.

now, with concealer, i'd usually use the Merit Minimalist perfecting stick, but since i'm going on stage, i need something that gives me full coverage. im using the Hourglass Vanish Airbrush concealer in the shade Sepia 5. I usually apply it on my undereyes, the corner of my nose and a bit on my forehead, right above the middle of my eyebrows.

after concealer i'll use a press powder. this on is the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless setting powder. I'm going to softly press it on my forehead, my chin and my undereyes with a powder puff before going in with contour.

for contour i use the Selena Gomez Soft Pinch liquid contour in the shade Solace. I apply it right below my cheeks to mark cheekbones, and a bit on my jawline to add depth to my face. then, i use a bit of blush, this one is from makeup by mario, it's the soft pop cream blush in the shade pomegranate. i only use a very small amount since i like to focus the look on my lips or eyes instead of having really blushed cheeks. i like it when it's barely noticeable.

then i set everything with the One Size blurring setting powder before going in with the eyelook. for my eyes, i'm not gonna do a lot so I'll just line my waterline with the Huda Beauty Kohl eye pencil in the shade very brown. with that same pencil i'll do a small wing, again, almost not noticeable.

lastly, the lips. im gonna start with the Benetint lip stain in the shade Floratint - desert rose. just a little bit for the base. now, once it's dried, i'm going to use a lip liner. for this look, i'll use two shades from Urban Decay; Hex to line the lips, and Give em backtalk to slightly fill the lips. Over those two lip liners i'm gonna use the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Stix High-Shine Gloss Stick in the shade Riri.

SpaceTime is Australia’s most popular and respected astronomy and space science news program – averaging over two million downloads every year. I just saw some fanart of Matilda wearing Kanjira's new garment, so thus, outfit swap request! Matilda and Co., por favor!

Either way, if Matilda swaps i0 outfit with Mercuria or Kanjira, she's pretty uncomfortable due to the huge difference in coverage and conservative nature.

Kanjira's clothes are few, and it's something she's (Kanjira) used to, meanwhile Matilda is not.

To leave her stomach bare and her legs barely covered by a long skirt on one side and very short on the other. Matilda would be pretty uncomfortable and shy wearing that outfit, since she covers herself a lot more with long sleeves and medium sized skits.

Now when it comes to wearing the cat fit, Matilda is not going out in that. She's using those huge paws to hide her face from the others. It's embarrassing since she is supposed to be a serious and professional worker for the foundation!!

She'd have a similar problem with Mercuria's fit since, well, those two are against covering up their stomach and legs (though in her 1.3 outfit she does wear short... Shorts. what is English???)

Also, Mercuria's clothes were big for her so she also couldn't wear them properly.

She may have some problems with these but she's pretty much fine with them after like, 5 hours of getting used to it and the cold.

As for Kanjira wearing Matilda's outfit, the most common and only complaints are the boring colors and how thick the fabric is. It's already hot enough, so, wearing so many clothes (and so boring, in her words) just makes it worse. Not to mention it's a little big for Kanjira so she doesn't look good in them.

In Matilda's 1.3 outfit, Kanjira feels more at ease and it's more her style despite being Matilda's outfit, she probably took off the blue - I'mma say shirt but it's not a shirt, nor a sweater?? I'm bad at fashion - and walked around normally.

Kanjira is shorter than Matilda so maybe Mercuria's clothes are out of the question for her

(Imagine her wearing Shamane's huge clothes and just being buried under them, that'd be cute)

As for Mercuria, sorry girl but you're not fitting in these clothes. They'd look good if they didn't look stretched or tight, which is the main problem.

But she did end up wearing Pioneers clothes once and she started to consider the idea of wearing suits for special occasions. She didn't in the end.

skincare prep: use facial cleanser (cerave hydrating or the ordinary hydrating cleanser) to wash face w either lukewarm or cold tapwater. let face air dry or use clean facial towel (i just use a mini towel) to dry face by patting the skin gently a few times max. use toner (some by mi aha bha pha toner) by patting it on face. give 30 secsish to dry. now put on moisturizer (laniege water face mask or cerave hydrating moisturizer or the face shop rice ceramide moisturizer). put on sunscreen (olay 30spf moisturizer sunscreen).

then use primer (elf hydro grip pink or blue works)

onto base: use foundation/cc cream/tinted serum depending on ur preference (f: clio kill cover mesh. cc cream: elf camo. tinted serum: loreal true match). i blend using a damp beauty blender. then i (excessively) use atleast 2-3 concealers of different shades. starting w the darkest to even out my skin tone (the body shop), medium to give more coverage (loreal instant age rewind eraser), and lightest to lighten my undereyes and other areas i like to be highlighted (peripera double longwear cover or focallure liquid concealer both from YesStyle). blend all three after each one w a beauty blender. i then use a setting spray to keep my base in place (i use the milani make it last but i do NOT recc it 🙁).

blush: yet again i am excessive w this 😜 i like looking like my crush just winked at me and i cannot handle the attention 24/7. i start w a matte blush/tint (nyx powder puff lippie or peripera ink airy velvet) then blend w my fingers. after i use a glowy blush (elf halo glow) and blend w my fingers again. lastly i "set" w a powder blush (etude cookie blush).

eyes: during my base routine i add all components from foundation to concealer on my eyes, so i blend out any excess using my fingers and even it out. i then use a white or nude eyeshadow to lighten my entire eye from the undereye to below my eyebrow bone (mac discontinued hello kitty palette or colorpop baby got peach palette...slightly pinky nude or full on white is my vibe). i go in p hard in the underye bc i like my undereye looking like ive slept 99 hours in the past wk alone. then i use any eyeshadow i want to create any kind of look, usually to match my outfit or the days vibe. i like colorpop, too faced, mac, jaclyn hill, and juvias place palettes the most. after the eyeshadow is complete i go in w a setting powder (juvias place) w a heavy hand. i also go in w powder under blush area (below cheekbone), upper lip, chin, and forhead. i let that sit all the way until im done w my lips. after placing powder w powder puff, i do eyeliner w eyeshadow of any previously mentioned palettes. i then curl my lashes, put on mascara (hourglass caution extreme lash or telescopic blue tube), and curl again. i then clean up any mascara w more eyeshadow or concealer then eyeshadow if its p bad. i then place highlighter (colorpop shock) under my brow bone.

highlighter: i use the colorpop highlighter on my nose and cupids bow. then i use a bright pink highlighter (stick w me lol ik it sounds weird) (zeesea purple 9 color eyeshadow palette) on my cheekbone and nose.

lips: three steps: liner, tint, gloss. lip liner from elf to line my exact lip shape (sometimes i round out my cupids bow if its a cutesy look). lip tint from peripera to color my lips and keep the color on for a long time or elf o satin face lip stick to do the same thing. blend out w fingers after smacking lips together. then top w gloss/lip oil (nyx butter gloss, nyx fat lip oil, ecosoul lip oil, kopari gloss, maybelline lifter gloss, hello kitty lip smacker gloss).

blend out all powder on face and set w shitty milani setting spray

but tbh i do sm bc i love makeup and have sm fun w it. tho w using this much ik im lucky to not have acne prone skin or skin that treats makeup like a parasite. i often take 2-4 day breaks when i have days off school and or weekends which helps. not to mention i use toner pads (numbuzin no.5) once to twice a wk and use a face mask (from any brand that use food ingredients as a main ingredient) weekly.

so starting out i used la colors white foundation, which is different than their mixing pigment apparetly

i can't vouch for the mixing pigment bc ive never used it but as for the foundation, i would call it light-medium buildable coverage with a natural finish. a little patchy but it wears fine (i use a ton of powder tho so your mileage may vary.) it's the only white drugstore foundation i've found so id say its worth for the price ($10ish) and convenience

the other one i've used, which i mainly use currently is the one from sunset makeup. it's one of two of their products ive used (white mascara) and they've both treated me well But i've heard claims that theyre dropshipping so. yeah. anyway it isn't as full coverage as they advertise it to be but definitely a few steps up from lac. it's inconvenient to apply because to get it to behave you have to put it on with your fingers before blending it out with another tool and it may come out a little patchy because of that. it really is pretty bulletproof though, once you powder it's not going any fuckin where. despite its faults at $13 it's probably the most bang for your buck for an actual foundation rather than a face paint.

going on to products i haven't actually tried, i've swatched the lightest about face foundation, f0cool, and though it's not white And it has the same light coverage shiny finish curse that every product has, it's quite pale and buildable. really pale but still like. normal shades work fairly seamlessly on medium-dark skin as a white base, and on pale-fair skin for if you want to look slightly less crazy than pure white, which is what i've been considering it for lmao. it's $22 which is honestly pretty good for a celebrity brand foundation and ive seen some good sales on it.

now this isnt actually a foundation it's a setting powder, but it's miserable to find a white setting powder. its actually perfectly fine to use translucent but if you want extra coverage, ive heard good things about the kim chi almost catfished white setting powder and im honestly just predisposed to trust drag queens' cosmetics brands to do what needs to be done. i definitely won't say you Need it bc you can bet my ass is using $4 powder from essence but i am saying if you have the $18 it's probably nice LOL

In the century and a quarter since its initial discovery, the 'Mech has been rebuilt and further modified multiple times, as the Aurigan military strove to keep up with modern technological developments; by 3153, the 'Mech mounts an experimental Light Autocannon/20 firing caseless ammunition (loaned by the Federated Suns, and capable of replicating the enhanced rate of fire of an Ultra Autocannon - while being much lighter and less bulky), along with Clan variants of (or upgrades to) all the original configurations' weaponry - the LRM 20 coupled to an Artemis V fire control system, and the original SRM 6 swapped for a Streak SRM 6.

The redesigned 'mech also mounts Clan double heat sinks - 14 of which provide extensive heat dissipation to the design; these are further backed up by a combat computer for heat management and a RISC Emergency Coolant System (likely obtained through Fusiliers connections with the Republic and indeed RISC itself). Covering the 'mech are 22 tons of Ferro-Lamellor armor - ensuring that the enemy will struggle to deal damage, and if the enemy does breach the outer layers of armor, they will find the Clan-spec XL engine and gyro have both been further armored. Finally, the 'mech has been mounted with CASE II to protect against ammunition explosions, and the head of the 'Mech has been armored extensively - in addition to full Ferro-Lamellor armor coverage, further internal armoring was applied to the entire head assembly - including the sensors and life support, as well as the added cargo space (used to expand the internal amenities available to the High Lord/Lady - leading to the 'Mech's unofficial nickname of "the Royal RV") and the remote drone command console operated by a Royal Guard MechWarrior (who is additionally trained in close protection).
