Back in gaming news, N++ or N Plus Plus. Hence this fast-paced, momentum-based platformer where players take the roll of a parkour-loving ninja. All while narrowly escaping enemies and collecting gold across sci-fi landscapes. Well it seems this amazing games is getting a a major upgrade. Metanet Software is proud to announce N++ Ultimate Edition available now on Steam. Since the game is currently only available for Windows and Mac. We do know that N++ works in Wine on Linux.

in the early 1990's ghouls used bulletin board systems with password-protected access all throughout the internet, but after about two years it was quickly revealed that it was horribly unsafe after various breaches by human hackers (who cracked the BBS's security just for the challenge, and mostly didn't care about the BBS content, deeming it "weird roleplaying"). these systems were quickly wiped off the face of the earth and nowadays every technology-inclined ghouls knows about the mythical BBS archives: 3 1/2 floppy disks archiving the contents of the boards pre-1995. ever rare and ever expensive.

in december 2002, however, a group of werewolf programmers from chesapeake released "JujuOS", an operating system made by ghouls, for ghouls. Originally sold as installation CDs that let you dual-boot the OS onto any windows machine, JujuOS became the safest way for ghouls to communicate using their own world wide web (called the 'MetaNet'). On top of running purposefully outdated software for easier control, JujuOS also requires users to make use of their Sixth Sense in order to use the the software properly.

nowadays most ghouls reject smartphones, preferring to use flip phones and other relics of the 2000's for their privacy, thus leading the JujuOS development team to develop a mobile version of the operating system, usable in any phone capable of dual SIM operation.

yearly the JujuOS team does charity drives to gather development funds, offering tacky shirts in return. also their mascot is some furry girl sort of like linux's xenia. and yeah there are 2000 year old vampires out there getting some fledgelings to use the internet for them. "e-mail organizer of count fuckula" is an official job title i guess.

What's "N the Ninja"?

It's this stupid little game where you are a ninja and have to unlock the door without dying. I've been playing it since 7th grade but downloaded it about a year ago. I'm on level 77 of 100.

Y si eso no es suficiente, puedes crear y compartir tus propios niveles desviados con jugadores de todo el mundo, usando el editor de niveles incorporado. ¡Las posibilidades son literalmente infinitas!

  Metanet Software is bringing the ultimate version of its action-packed, ninja platformer, N++ (N Plus Plus) to Xbox One this summer. N++ Ultimate Edition, a free patch that turns N++ into the ultimate version of the game, launched on PC on April 21st (and shortly thereafter on PlayStation 4). Players on those platforms already know that N++ Ultimate Edition adds a boatload of new content. It doubles the amount of content in N++, adding 60 new dynamic color schemes, new ninja headbands, a ton of new levels, new secrets, and more.

The game now contains a whopping 4,340 handcrafted levels spread through several modes. There’s a lengthy single player campaign, but you can also sit down for some coop action with your friends or play the competitive race mode against each other. Here’s the set of screenshots showing off just a few of the levels in N++ Ultimate Edition:

  Xbox One players just have a bit longer to wait. There is no specific release date, yet, but Xbox One players don’t have too much longer to wait for this massive free patch.
